https://21.co/learn/faq/#what-are-the-full-technical-specifications-of-the-21-bitcoin-chip

50-125Gigahash/s
0.16J/Ghs
price: $400

Now, you can easily compare it to an U3, S5,S7,... or several sidehack sticks Wink

Looking at tradeblock and presuming 125 GH is overclocked and I converted joules correctly (0.16*125 = 20 Joules --> 0.0555 ish watt hours (I am pretty sure I botched that part, but watts aside it looks like no break-even according to tradeblock unless I really push that exchange rate up)

Thanks that helped a lot not sure how to convert that into a Solo-Mine pot shot but if its neg here it really must be low ended odd wise.

https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/mining/a/VQ8brmvsJDddNR7YjcgEF5

I also read that it wasn't breaking even on a couple other threads and fora... But since i couldn't find the exact links, i gave you the specs instead Wink

I think it's more a novelty item, for people that want to play and learn about bitcoin, but certainly not an item to replace your antminers with.

Even alt coin mining also not profitable in phone.

there were some coins that you can mine with cpu only, not even a strong cpu, if you're able to instamine them, it might be worth to do a try with a phone, but not sure on the profit

i think, you cna earn more by resolving catpcha with faucet, unless this coin get big afterward

I've said it before in this very thread: Mangocoins Smiley
I used to make about $5/month running their app... It's not really mining, the creators mine the coins, and send them to your android wallet in return for excercising...
4984  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Campaign And Their Managers on: October 25, 2015, 02:33:12 PM
I dont think a 15-20 post minimum per week is asking too much from users at all. That's 2-3 posts per day.

Well, in the past i was in a couple campaigns that did require 20 posts/week, excluding posts in meta, alt, ... . Some weeks, i was on training during the week, and wanted to spend some time with my family during the weekend.
If i really needed the money, i would be seriously tempted to quickly make 20 spamposts and call it quits...

But in the end, everybody has to decide this for him/herself... I just chose to go for campaigns without minimum post counts...
4985  Economy / Economics / Re: Gandi accepts bitcoin payments on: October 25, 2015, 02:24:56 PM
It's the second registrar i know of that accepts bitcoin.

Just wondering, icann still requires the registrar to know the identity of everybody that registers a domainname, how does Gandi handles this problem? The other registrar i know of, just asks for your personal information and trusts you enough to accept your own input as true...
4986  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Campaign And Their Managers on: October 25, 2015, 02:21:11 PM
I personally have to read 3000-5000 posts per week and make a decision on what's a constructive post and what's not. Am I being too strict? According to some moderators I am not being strict enough.
Not even remotely close to the word 'strict'. I'm not trying to attack you, nor the campaign that you're managing in specific. The problem lies within multiple campaign. You're essentially paying people to spam when you do not punish those that are spamming. Campaign payments should not be a incentive to post, but rather a bonus for posting. Most of the participants are seeing it as a incentive and are thus spamming with low quality posts (which are unnecessary at best).

Offcourse, the fact that most campaigns require a minimum amount of posts does not help the spam-factor...
If i would live in a poor part of the world, and needed this money to pay for stuff... I would do anything to get the minimum required post count, by all means...

Lately, i try to join campaigns that have no minimum post count (i'd rather have a maximum post count than a minimum)
4987  Economy / Services / Re: Cheap Europe VPS - Bitcoin accepted on: October 23, 2015, 08:40:46 AM
At the moment, i'm not really looking for a new VPS (i have 2 VPS's with ramnode and an dedicated box)... Nevertheless, i have a couple of questions about this offer, if i like your answers, i'll defenatly consider your company next time i need to expand Smiley

- which technology do you use (openVZ, XEN,...)
- do you also accept Paypal (i have the habit of using paypal whenever i do business with a company for the first time, switching to BTC when i start to trust them)
- with my current VPS provider, i'm entitled 4 Vcpu's, but my VPS's load cannot exceed 1 for a prolonged time... What is your policy about this
- what is your backup policy
- can you tell me something about the HDD setup?
- what is you cancellation policy
- can i switch between plans on-the-fly?
- are you a regged company?

Dear mocacinno,

For a better understanding, I'll keep your initial format for our answer(s) Smiley

  • Those plans presented here are running on OpenVZ. However, we do offer KVM and vmWare as well.
  • We accept payments via Card, PayPal, Bank and Bitcoin
  • We don't limit the CPU consumption if you have 4 CPUs, each capable of providing 3.20 GHz, then you'll have a total of 12.80 GHz available.
  • You can issue backup(s) at anytime from the control panel
  • For all plans and technologies we are only using RAID10 setups
  • Anytime cancel for all VPS and Dedicated Servers plans
  • Yes, you can
  • Yes we are. Our company info. is available here: https://www.hetnix.com/about.xml ... also the details and all legal stuff were analyzed and validated by COMODO CA, which wouldn't issue us an EV SSL if we were not trustworthy.

Thank you.

I like your answers Smiley Next time i'm in need of a VPS, i'll put you on my list Wink

Btw, do you also have configs using SSD's for better performance, or only SATA drives?

4989  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Miner on Windows Phone on: October 23, 2015, 07:59:33 AM
I tried it on an android Quad core 1.7 GHS MTK phone, tried mining almost every algo, made nothing... Not a single share. It just drains your battery and overheats the rest of your phone.

Altough we're not in the altcoin section, i would recommend mining mangocoins (if they're still around that is)... It's not really mining, you just receive coins the creator mined. The more you exercise, the more coins you get (he uses the motion sensors and GPS to see how much coins you'll receive).
4990  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: did i just read that EU made BTC tax free EU-wide ? on: October 23, 2015, 07:36:22 AM
Also,
The way EU laws usually work is like this: The EU makes a new law, but every country has to make his own law with the EU law as a blueprint.
It might take months, even years, before every EU country has added a new EU law...
4991  Other / Meta / Re: The Definition of a Low Quality Post on: October 23, 2015, 07:27:55 AM
I would personally think neither of the two posts should be deleted...

I think it should be perfectly fine to give your opinion about a topic, even if it doesn't contribute to the discussion, or solving the problem.

Offcourse, when a user is posting short crap for the sole purpose of promoting his sig all the time, it's a different story...
4992  Economy / Lending / Re: I would like to lend 0.15 BTC to trusted only on: October 23, 2015, 05:50:12 AM
Seems like you are doing this loan for trust, which is frowned in the community. BTW what will the repayment amount be? And FYI "trusted members"'s feedback doesn't show as "trusted" , it only shows as trusted when a Default Trust member.

LOL god no, I'm doing it more for gambling.

The return would have to be at least .25 minimum.

But ty forum cop.  Tongue

That's a pretty high repayment you want there... I don't know if anybody is going to agree with so much intrest...
4993  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Help please on: October 22, 2015, 12:15:10 PM
I think I opened it here landofbitcoin.com

That looks like another faucet...

Listen, i'll try to explain this a little better, leaving out the technical parts, and simplifying (a lot) because to me, it looks like you're lost in the land of bitcoin Wink (other members: i know not everything in this text is 100% correct, but i tryd to simplify it so much it was kinda hard to give all the technical details to)

You can compare bitcoin to a bank account number. The number is written into a database which tells you how much bitcoins are on the account.
In contrast to a bank, there is no central authority. You can make your own account number (bitcoin address). Because managing all your account numbers (and the private keys for these accounts) is a very complex task, a lot of people use "wallets".

These wallets actually generate all the account numbers for you, and keep track which numbers you own, and what the balance on these numbers is... They also manage all the technical stuff that needs to be done when you want to send bitcoins to somebody else.

You used a faucet to "earn" bitcoins... A faucet is basically a place where you enter your account number and do some basic task (like filling in a captcha). In return for this task, they send some coins over to your account... (they get their money by showing you advertising while you are doing the basic task)...

In your case: you showed us an account number, and said that somebody might have taking money from your account without your knowledge... Afterwards you started pointing to the faucet... BUT the faucet is just a spot that sends over bitcoins to your wallet. They have nothing to do with managing your addresses.. They don't have all your keys, so they cannot take your money, they can only send you money... If somebody took your money, it might have been a fault in your wallet, or maybe a virus that was evesdropping on your PC where your wallet was generated...

So, before we can help you, you need to remember which wallet you used to generate your address... We cannot help you if you don't know what you did exactly (i'm afraid)
4994  Economy / Services / Re: simple text help in PHP on: October 22, 2015, 11:35:36 AM
$arr = explode("\n", $str);

Basically, the text contains newline characters. You need to explode (split) the text with the newline character as a separator...
$arr is an array that contains each line...

You can basically print them with
foreach($ass as $key => $value)
{
echo "line number $key is $value<br>";
}
4995  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Help please on: October 22, 2015, 11:34:33 AM
No, the address is FaucetBox

There must be a mistake: Faucetbox is not a wallet... It's a faucet rotator (AFAIK). Correct me if i'm wrong tough...
I remember that the FaucetBox received address

Let me put it this way: IF you wanted to buy something with the bitcoins you claimed from the faucetbox faucet... Which website or program would you open to make the payment?
Sorry I don't understand your question, when you start on this I think it was from FaucetBox that I received that address

I got this from https://faucetbox.com/en/getting-started
Quote
You need to have cryptocurrency address (wallet). You don't have to register on FaucetBOX.com.

It basically spells out what i tought: faucetbox does not offer a wallet... You must have created a wallet somewhere else... If it was a webwallet or an exchange, it might have been compromised... But basically, if you don't know where you created a wallet, it might as well be that you are looking at somebody else's address on blockchain...

Thank you for your help, but it is that I have not done the movement of the date 2015-10-19 20:06:28  Sad

Be carefull, it wasn't a 0.01 bitcoin transaction. This was part of a 5 BTC transaction https://blockchain.info/tx/58eeb5e78012860fa41a5ad57fcda4bfd287f1f415e7f2f1873fc05c4248e49b

You didn't send 5 bitcoins to somebody else on the 19th?
No, not I sent that to anyone, not even had for the web

I'm not a real expert, so i might not get to the bottom of this, but one last question: What's your wallet?

Is it something like blockchain, or a wallet on an exchange or something?
