I am daytime drinking right now - I cant sort any ETH addresses for these shitcoins - give me 5 ill get someone to escrow so you are protected...
but do not worry - TMAN can withdrawal from EXCHANGES - TMAN best lending service in whole of Kazakhstan.
You don't trade when you're drunk/drinking!? It's great, you can't work out when you're at a loss (for at least those few hours)... I can't work out which of your sentences are funnier and I'm still stuck wondering if this topic is serious.. . I've read the entire thing trying to work out your interest rates - was really curious from the op.

As long as you bought your ledger from an official source, the seed is all you need.
The seed should already be pretty random and you will definitely be able to restore your coins as long as you write down the right seed as the seed nmemonic is just a large number moved into words and there are so many copies of the algorithms for the derivation paths it'd take every computer to be destroyed and every printout of the code for the mnemonics to be irrecoverable (which would've wiped out bitcoin too).

This is an uneducated, and wrong opinion. No really active project ever will reach 0 number of issues, unless nobody is using it nor testing it. Most really active projects do indeed all have tens if not hundreds of open issues (and PRs). That's not the reason. 1) There are still a bunch of pending issues.
See above. We got taught a software becomes stable for release if the number of bugs is fairly stable. Most time when you remove a bug you make one somewhere else. If there's normally 2000 bugs in 1 million lines of code, as the code grows those bugs move... Issues tell you there are active users. If the number of issues is high its usually not a bad thing. Many issues may be non critical feature suggestions too.

Yeah the "hack" (phishing attack) only affected electrum versions before 3.3.4. Any new versions are safe to download and install from the electrum.org website.
You can also learn how to verify signatures of the release on that site too which is recommended to keep your funds safer (you only have to do it once when you install and each time you upgrade).

It's just a number? I think it's 0.x so that theres space for more version numbers. Maybe we'll see 1.x in 30 or 40 years but if bitcoin goes a long time it makesore sense to keep the middle nber growing instead of the first imo. Bitcoin is still pretty new, only 11 years old it's still finding it's feet...

Interesting... They did this last time we had a crash in the price. It might become a regular occurance whenever the price falls quite a bit. (they did do the black Friday thing last year though, I think).

@Allin77 you seem quite new here so I'm going to wait until you've ranked up a bit and earnt a couple of merits before accepting the request.

Yeah I saw that on your thread. I'll look into it when there is more ln adoption, are there any lightweight clients for pc yet? I can't download the blockchain (i fragmented a drive pretty hard trying)?

Ok boomer
Do you know what a boomer is, stupid man? They are in their 70s right now enjoying retirement - not hanging out on forums trying to educate children. It's a strange word that's getting chucked around now. I don't know what generations have to do with anything. Intelligence rules over age... I keep confusing boomers and gen xers. Many gen xers on the Internet seem to be panicking and rushing to try to get an early retirement (which is kinda worrying that a lot of them will end up on sinking ships investment wise)...

your colleagues can use this to control the system, anyone can blackmail using this idiotic suggestion then accept bribes in exchange on those people who might banned for their posts.Police wannabe like you can this for blackmailing ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) How though? And you can just blackmail the mods or Theymos instead?
It's a good idea I just think the edited posts make up a fraction of what the mods deal with. @tryninja everyone likes a good % score.

Email notification got delayed, got a new request: lnbc100u1pwaeqkkpp5l06psz625l2v6eg2j2kc922t5uwmzhlkhjww88jw5uxg9q03du7qdqqxqr4rqrzjqwryaup9lh50kkranzgcdnn2fgvx390wgj5jd07rwr3vxeje0glc7zf4hyqqgucqqqqqqqlgqqqqqeqqjq950mwyttr86nsz857eec09evlq9j9vlxekqmgudcmfnwfpvnnz48n5a0ylykhk7xll2r8yljmqmghpq6pyu0q9sj8t3edp9srmfmpzcpqhdc84

Surely the mods can see the post has been edited since it was reported? I thought a report would have the original text with it. Was the report marked bad?

With the increase in central platforms and the difficulty of buying anonymously, I think it is better not to add any restrictions for newbies, especially that subboard (currency exchange.) It is better to add more mods to that section, learning newbies to the escrow, and promise a negative trust to the scammers.
Have you used it recently? Most fiat transaction s can be charged back by newbies so it's best to avoid reading their threads in order to find legitimate higher ranking requests. I think there are still a few decentralised exchanges you can be anonymous on (local bitcoins added kyc to everyone recently also) so they're probably a good stop for newbies.
@sfr, thanks I'll take a look.

Yeah yesterday, to get a transaction 0.5mb from the tip of the mempool set you back 1 sat per byte.
Today is another day and fees aren't low anymore! 9 sats per byt will get you 10 mb from the top.
If you need a conf within the week, send at 1 sat per byte, within 24 hours you're now looking at about 10 sats per byte... Be strategic with dust consolidation!

Interesting... Bisq is the decent aliased exchange isn't it? Have they got more of a following now. They only used to have like 2 buyers and 2 sellers in gbp it was really annoying when I downloaded it at least.

Avaliable for around 20 hours again if anyone wants to submit a request.
Me and timelord seem to work on different timezones (normally) so go to him when I'm offline (he's got better Internet too)! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5184177.0.
@timelord, yeah I have a budget of $20... Maybe they sold out of the one tree they bought and decided it took to long to shift that...

This software uses Electrum name and code, but it is not Electrum. The wallet is hardly reliable.
Do not say Electrum scammed you becase that's not true.
Dont say that, if you dont know. If my PC got hacked, then all my funds would be gone. But he does know, electrum didn't scam you. Electrum bcd did and if that site recommended it then they're the scanners if you did download the software they told you to. What website was this what contact information do you have of them and how did they contact you? Email, telegram...?

Personally, I only like to deal with people sr+ in the currency exchange if its for fiat to crypto, is there any way there can be a filter added for a certain rank and above to be shown? It also gets rid of those random locked topics from newbies that won't get much of a response (because they're likely to scam anyway).

Best way is to sign a message at the beginning of each conversation.
Just get them to sign the important ones imo. You only need one signature to prove they're who they say they are.
