4981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fleas are going down! on: December 10, 2019, 07:22:54 AM
What do you mean by "bitcoin fleas"?
Who are the fleas and why the last few weeks are "painful"?
4982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can be done to stop loss sending to wrong bitcoin address on: December 10, 2019, 07:20:09 AM
What's that suspicious link that was removed from your post,OP
Are you trying to promote something?
The problem with sending btc to wrong addresses will continue forever, but there's a solution.
It's called "double checking the address before sending any BTC". Grin
It's genius,isn't it. Grin
4983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin dot org and the Money With Wings Emoji on: December 09, 2019, 12:40:25 PM
That's a kinda silly way to promote bitcoin. Grin
I don't use emojis at all.Usually girls and kids use them more often.

4984  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto analyst peter brandt bitcoin will reach $100000 on: December 09, 2019, 12:37:41 PM
I'm getting tired of this price prediction BS.Those "analysts" share their opinion only with their own benefit in mind. Why can't we just stop spreading this price prediction non-sense and focus on more important topics regarding the future of bitcoin.
4985  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptotalk campaign thread is a mirror echo of the yobit thread... on: December 06, 2019, 12:39:24 PM

The whole reason the threads linked were closed is because of lack of payment, and no actual guarantee of payment in a rational/steady schedule.  This creates massive problems, and a whole pile of spam over something that should not be an issue.

The thread was actually locked by me to control the spam being posted in it by participants. Admins have been messaged twice now about payments and their wallet being filled.

No response so far. Participants are free to leave if they fear not being paid. I wish I could guarantee the payments but I have 0 control over it.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5188200.0 Here is the list of banned participants. 472 and counting. Quite a few of these users will be on the blacklist as well.

I have sent you a DM about how to get out of your blacklist, but still no answer.
I'm not a spammer and I want to follow all the rules of every sig campaign I join.
4986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, then fiat is a get poor slow scheme on: December 06, 2019, 12:27:11 PM
Fiat will be replaced by crypto currency but i dont think it will be bitcoin. Government want to control everything and even fiat money , bitcoin cant control by the governement so  they will create thier own and will use blockchain technology to make a new way of payment before fiat currency fall.
Sure the government cannot control Cryptocurrency but the Government is likely to Crash too

Really? So you are saying that no government can't control crypto mining and trading?
What if USA and EU ban crypto mining and trading? What happens then?
4987  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Screaming SCAM, means you're stupid. on: November 28, 2019, 12:34:29 PM
Well, you are the one who is screaming scam(in your thread title),so maybe you are stupid. Grin
There are 1000 different scam methods, you can't just call a part of them "scam" and the other part of them "rigged".
4988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You think terrorist groups around the world use Cryptos as a means of payment? on: November 28, 2019, 07:23:40 AM
Literally every store in the darknet, whether it sells drugs, guns, hacking services, or sex services, all accept bitcoin, and prefer using bitcoin compared to other fiat options. So there is no doubt in my mind, that bitcoin and other crypto-currencies (I'm thinking about XMR, DASH, GRIN, privacy-oriented coins) are often used to fund terrorism.

Although, the lack of interest in privacy-oriented coins is a bit confusing, since I've always thought they are made for these things, but I guess they just aren't very convenient to use, and don't have as a big of a market as BTC.

Bitcoin is also, usually purchased from OTC trades (think old LBC, paxful, etc), and is usually bought in real life cash trades.

Thanks for repeating the same thing that I posted before you on this thread.
Keep it up with sig spamming the forum.
4989  Other / Meta / Re: [LIST]Open Merit Source Applications,waiting list. on: November 28, 2019, 07:20:41 AM
What is a merit source applicant?I guy,who receives merit and redistributes it across the community? Grin
Is it kinda pointless to apply for such "position"?If you have sMerit, just spend it on some HQ posts.
4990  Other / Off-topic / Re: (ASK)what do you think about buying and selling bitcointalk.org accounts? on: November 28, 2019, 07:03:46 AM
AFAIK buying/selling accounts is prohibited and pointless, after the merit system has been implemented.
I don't think the accounts this guy is selling have any value at all.Possible scam.
4991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You think terrorist groups around the world use Cryptos as a means of payment? on: November 28, 2019, 06:54:17 AM
Have you ever browsed the darknet?Almost all the darknet marketplaces accept bitcoin and altcoins(mostly monero) payments.Criminals use those marketplaces to sell drugs, weapons, counterfeit money, stolen personal info, etc.I don't know about terrorists.I've never met a terrorist in my life, but it's really possible for such groups to fund their activity or buy weapons using cryptocurrency.
4992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Have you ever purchased bitcoins using eBay? on: November 25, 2019, 08:08:16 AM
I was browsing eBay and I see many sellers, who are selling bitcoin and altcoins.
I thought that eBay isn't crypto friendly, but the sellers, who are selling 24-hour btc mining contracts.
The fees are ridiculous. To buy 9USD worth of BTC,you have to pay 14USD via paypal.
It's weird that those people actually have sales.
4993  Other / Meta / Re: How to earn merit in 4 EASY steps! on: November 25, 2019, 08:03:22 AM

Video must remain on YouTube, even if you lose

Yeah, right.I don't believe that anyone will abide by this rule. Grin
Any requirements about the video length? Some guy might post a 10 second video and win. Grin
It's highly unlikely that Youtube would rank such short videos and drive traffic. Grin
4995  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning! Here's Why BTC is Set To Fall To 3000 or Lower! on: November 24, 2019, 12:48:32 PM
Get ready to buy then !
You won't get this 2nd chance anymore in fact I suggest to start now. Sell your organs and start buying.

That's wrong.Bitcoin price will continue to go back and forth between pumps and crashes for the rest of our lives. It can go back to 3K USD more than several times.
4996  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much can bitcoin cost in Future. on: November 23, 2019, 06:56:04 AM
Don't get fooled into thinking that bitcoin will cost 50 or 100K USD after X amount of year. This is BS
The bitcoin price will probably stay around the 5K-12K USD area in the long term.
4997  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this a scam? on: November 23, 2019, 06:53:53 AM
This is the most stupid scam attempt I've ever seen.  Angry
If anyone asks you to send him bitcoins, that's a scam.It doesn't matter what's his excuse or reason.
4998  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcoin Forum is 10 years old! on: November 23, 2019, 06:50:32 AM
Happy birthday to all mods and members of Bitcointalk!
I hope the forum will survive the next 100 years.
4999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Just Love the Game of a Totalitarian State on: November 03, 2019, 07:47:12 AM
The level of totalitarianism can be partly determined based on whether they accept crypto or not.

What does that supposed to mean?
So the totalitarian country is good, when it adopts crypto/blockchain and it's bad if it bans them?
If they accept crypto they are more liberal,if they don't,they are more totalitarian?
All I can say is freedom for Hong Kong. Smiley
5000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages and disadvantages of BTC/LN and BSV? on: November 03, 2019, 07:43:00 AM
But how can we get more and more real world merchants accept BTC with a transaction speed of 3~7 per second?

We can't.Bitcoin will remain as a "digital gold"-store of value.
No cryptocurrency will become widely adopted by the merchants anytime soon.
