As expected, the match has ended in another boring draw. The Zimbabwean bowlers had 90 plus overs with them, but they failed to bowl out the Sri Lankans. Rain also played a major role in this test match, and this is another example of the climate change affecting cricket schedule. Those who are proposing the 4-day test format needs to explain how they are going to take this factor in to account.
Zimbabwe bowlers just dint know how-to pick-up wickets at regular interval and this gave a chance to Mendis to build the innings and he did brilliantly which actually helped Sri Lanka to draw the test match rather than losing it. Zimbabwe would have fancied their chance of making this test match their winning but just it did not happened this time. Sikandar was named Man of the match for his brilliant all-round performance. They didn't picked Kyle Jarvis for this match, and it had a negative impact on their bowling capabilities. All of their bowlers were inexperiened and this was reflected in the Sri Lankan second innings. The absence of a quality spinner is being felt, and I believe that the board should try to bring back Graeme Cremer (he relocated to the UAE last year).

I have been following the Bitcoin prices for the last three years and I have investments in both cryptocurrency and bullion. And till now, I have not noticed any link between the exchange rates of Bitcoin and gold. And I don't think that any correlation exists, since these two are entirely different assets having very few similarities between them.

I was following the U19 World Cup for the past few days and things are going to get really exciting now. India and Pakistan will be taking on each other (on 4th February) in the cricketing field after almost 8 months (the last match was during 2019 Cricket World Cup, in which India defeated the Pakistanis by 89 runs). I have a feeling that the winner of this semi-final may become the champions as well. The other semi-final is between New Zealand and Bangladesh and it is going to be very closely contested.
Thanks for letting us know about the match between I dia and Pakistan. It is a must watch, any format cricket match between the arch rival is a must watch. It will be a guaranteed pressure match with close finish. The match between India and Pakistan will be played at the Senwes Park ground in Potchefstroom, South Africa. According to the weather update, scattered showers are predicted, but I guess we will be having a full 50-over match. Pakistan had a comfortable (and controversial) victory over their other arch rivals (Afghanistan) during the quarter finals, while India had destroyed Australia in their QF match.

You can't. It is stuck there unless you send to a disposal wallet. I sold my tokens long time ago and they were just cents amount so probably there is no more value to it. I just leave it there. It shouldn't really hurt my wallet actually. I wonder what bothers you to have that coin in your wallet, OP. There is no such maintaining fee for wallets so it shouldn't do you any harm though.
What is the problem in keeping them as such in the wallet? Unless you have thousands of different tokens, it shouldn't matter. If it irritates you, then you can send them to a disposal wallet as you have posted. But my question is why you need to spend gas on sending these tokens to the disposal wallets? Token spamming has become very infrequent nowadays. The last time I received a token in my ERC-20 wallet was almost six months back.

It's been upped for like 50 bucks this month so that's a good start, although the expectation is too high because of current condition and many speculators said that the price could even go higher, but yea speculation is just a speculation. let's hope what we can do next
The price went up due to pure speculation. There was no major news from the development team lately and there is still no clarity regarding the timelines for Ethereum 2.0. Also, the ICO sector is not showing any signs of life and seems to be inching towards its eventual demise. So it looks like the recent spike may not last for too long.

in the early stage, bitcoin was created to give us privacy or anonymity but it doesn't work like that anymore because of government intervention.
If that would be the case, the main purpose of bitcoin would be dissolve: its decentralization and anonymity. We can't really say that it is what is happening, maybe it is on the manner of use of bitcoin transactions. It is on how the two party decided on how to transact using bitcoin, might it be for buy and sell, or as a payment in the workplace that are a subject for government laws and regulations. Does taxation have something to do with privacy anyway? I mean there are some ways to tax crypto market without getting private data of each user and their transactions If the transactions remain anonymous, then the chance of tax evasion will increase and it will become easier to hide your income. The authorities don't want that and they want to extract whatever they could from the hard working individuals. On the outside, they will say that KYC and all that crap is needed to prevent terrorism and crime. But the real intention is to increase the tax collection.

I have read a news in 2019 about a tiny pacific island nation to issue its own cryptocurrency. Its called the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the token would be called Marshallese sovereign (SOV for short). The whitepaper isn't available yet, but this is one of those that I am looking forward to, especially John McAfee is running for President in November.
Oh.. please let's ignore that loser John McAfee. He has done enough damage to the cryptocurrency market by promoting scam projects. And I heard that a few days back he labelled Bitcoin as a "shitcoin" and advised his twitter followers to invest in altcoins rather than Bitcoin. Anyway, coming back to the topic, I am not very excited with these government backed cryptocurrencies. I am afraid that they will be just the digital version of the fiat currency. And by the way, I wouldn't even regard Marshall Islands as a sovereign nation. It is a small group of coral islands (with a population of 50,000 or so) and ruled by the United States military.

Its fear mongering really. Why isnt anyone that concerned that influenza kills thousands every year, that doesnt make a dent in the markets. If it was in the news and lumped as an epidemic it would do the same thing. Is coronavirus bad, yeah is it the end of the world nope. But yeah this will effect all markets.
You can't take the epidemic lightly. Because it is highly contagious. The Chinese authorities are doing the right thing by isolating major centers, and the other nations are also reacting properly by closing their borders and screening the international travelers. I heard that the mortality rate is somewhere around 2%. But the issue is not with the mortality, but the main issue is with the speed at which the epidemic is spreading. It is spreading at a much more faster pace, when compared to influenza or SARS.

I am afraid that batting first will be a very bad idea for New Zealand. The Indian batting lineup is among the world's best, and they can chase any sort of target. They comfortably chased 200 plus totals against West Indies recently. On top of that, the New Zealand bowling lineup is looking very weak, due to all those injuries. Their batsmen are not in form (perhaps with the exception of Williamson). And if they make a total of 140-150, then the Indians will chase it down in less than 12 overs. The main issue in this series for New Zealand is that the middle order is failing to produce runs, the openers always gave them a solid quick start but they fail to capitalize on that start and score a huge total and on one time they were able to score above 200 runs they were short of runs considering the way in which they started the innings and in that match India chased that total and if they want to pose any challenge they need to post a score above 200 runs and since they are experimenting with the bench strength they might win the match and save face to avoid the white wash. Earlier Ross Taylor used to be their backbone in the middle order. Unfortunately, for the past several months he seems to be out of form. I thought that he regained his form, when he scored a half century in the first T20 match against India. But after that performance, his form once again dipped. The other middle order batsmen (such as Colin de Grandhomme and Tim Seifert) are also not in good form.

Those who are proposing the 4-day test format needs to explain how they are going to take this factor in to account.
When they saw Test matches ending in three days the ICC board thought that having a 4 day match would be great rather than having the regular 5 days and after the proposal many matches ended in the final day and some of the matches that would have ended in a draw had results and with this in mind i am sure they will rethink about that proposal and they should plan to make more day night Test matches rather than reducing the days. Well... I have a suggestion here. In case a test match ends within 3 days, then one ODI match or a T20 match should be scheduled for the 5th day (the 4th day can be used for rest). The cricket fans who purchased tickets for 4th and 5th days of the test match should be allowed free entry to this match. In this way, the board can earn more revenue, and no one will complain about the wastage of time.

I think NZ will choose batting first next time if they happen to win the toss in the last T-20 match of the series.

In 2019, multiple studies were published in the mainstream media, which claimed that the proportion of transactions linked to illegal businesses (such as drugs) accounted for somewhere between 1% to 2% of all the transactions. And why should we embrace this 1%, there by destroying the reputation of the entire community? Neither Bitcoin nor its users are going to gain anything from such stupidity.

We hardly find long-term projects, in the end we have to be careful to get back in and take advantage of the best moments. But no doubt the best strategy is to take profit and run.
The biggest challenge we are facing in the ICO market is regarding the uncertainty surrounding the future development of the project. There is no guarantee that the promoters and the developers will remain committed to the project in the long term. Under these circumstances, the only safe way to invest is to purchase the tokens after they are listed in an exchange (and not during the ICO phase).

I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position
I am not seeing any revolutionary new ideas in the cryptocurrency market lately. Back in 2017, we had a large number of altcoins with unique ideas such as Monero, Cardano, NEO and IOTA. During the last 12 months, there have been thousands of new cryptocurrencies coming online, but very few of them managed to catch the attention of the investors.

After New Zealand lost to England in the super over in the world cup, they're carrying this curse. A tie is a rare event and New Zealand are having them in two consecutive matches leading to super over and losing on both. They need to do something to lift this curse. Maybe wining the next T20I world cup with a good margin would help.
What's really going on? Two match on super over at a row. NZ is very unlucky but two super over match at a row is kind of fishy to me. I know I am saying something which has no logic behind but it seems something fishy here lol. I had used a local gambling site, damn I have lost the match, thought NZ will come back this time. Something unbelievable only happened as Nz required 19 runs in 20 balls and had 6 wickets in hand and from their the game started to change a bit and finally they came in a position where they match got tied . Is Nz not able to handle the pressure or just they do not plan and bat . Something really need to be seen here . But India played well and won the match . This time they needed 3 runs from the last 4 balls. And during the last match it was 2 runs from 4 balls. And in both the matches, they ended up losing the super-over. This is really horrible finishing from New Zealand. Last time, they lost the match although Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor were batting during the final over. The credit goes to Indian captain Virat Kohli, for his magnificent tactics and aggression.

I am holding Bitcoin cash for quite a while now. Even when there was a time when its price really dump, I still held on because I am confident that its price would rise eventually. In terms of really world usage, Bitcoin cash's overall goal is to increase the number of transactions that can be processed by the network. Trying to solve some problems with the Bitcoin platform. I sure with its usage, BCH price would pump soon.
If we talk about the acceptance and adoption, the fact remains that BCH has failed to gain much traction in this regard. There are a lot of stores where BCH is accepted, but the overall numbers are much lower than that of Bitcoin. And this has happened despite many of the industry giants such as Jihan Wu and Roger Ver supporting BCH from the date of its creation.

The crypto bull market continued, but it was not yet institutional capital driving it. This process of institutional money pouring into cryptocurrencies is going slower than expected. Blockchain implementations would accelerate.
The industry has created a hard border between Bitcoin and Blockchain. Almost everyone have realized that Blockchain is the way to go in the future, but they are not very excited about Bitcoin. The industry giants want to adopt Blockchain, but at the same time they want to destroy Bitcoin. They want to end the association of Blockchain with Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is something that is capable of completely altering the current status quo. It can make many of the current industries obsolete and replace them with new ones.

You just have this mindset because you lost that bet. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I don't think there is any kind of shady activities involved in these matches because these are international matches but don't have much importance even if any team win this match since India already got the t20 title of this match with their first 3 wins. How they are going to fix the match, so that they get a super-over? Even of all the 22 players engage in match-fixing, this will be very difficult to achieve. It was sheer coincidence that two consecutive matches ended in a tie, and the outcomes were decided by the super-over. Unless the user have some concrete proof, I would say that there was not even a 0.01% of these matches being fixed.

Some of the teams got in to very weak groups, while some of them got in to tough ones. For example, Sri Lanka was placed in a tough group along with India and New Zealand. Not surprisingly, they failed to qualify for the Super League. They are now playing in the Plate League along with Japan and Nigeria. Similarly, England was also relegated to the Plate League, as they were placed along with West Indies and Australia. On the other hand, South Africa was in a group which consisted of Afghanistan, UAE and Canada. And even then, they finished at the second place.
I am really confused at the format and how the tournament is progressing, i saw in the news that New Zealand qualified for the semi finals after beating West Indies but i cannot find the rest of the teams that are qualified for the semi finals and if you look at the match ups schedule you will see tons of matches too, if New Zealand is qualified now how come there will be this much matches ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) . First of all, there is a super-league and a plate league. The top 8 teams which qualified for the Super League plays there, and those who failed to do so are relegated to the Plate League. So all the 16 teams are still playing matches against each other and this will go on until the positions from 1 to 16 are decided. For example, the playoff for the 15th place will be played tomorrow, between Japan and Nigeria. BTW, this is the semi-final lineup: India vs Pakistan New Zealand vs Bangladesh

I have an account with p2pb2b, but I use the site very rarely. The interface is very user friendly, but as some of the users already pointed out there is an issue with the bots. And the prices for most of the altcoins are low when compared to the other exchanges. One advantage is that it supports a huge number of different coins and therefore can be very useful for the bounty hunters.
