Market capitalization refers the total dollar market value of a company's outstanding shares. Commonly referred to as "market cap," it is calculated by multiplying a company's shares outstanding by the current market price of one share. The investment community uses this figure to determine a company's size, as opposed to using sales or total asset figures.
In crypto, it means NOTHING.

Can anyone explain Tether? I get the idea - but how do they pull it off? Are they making and destroying tether constantly?
https://tether.to/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/TetherWhitePaper.pdfStep 1 User deposits fiat currency into Tether Limited's bank account. Step 2 Tether Limited generates and credits the user's tether account. Tethers enter circulation. Amount of fiat currency deposited by user = amount of tethers issued to user (i.e. 10k USD deposited = 10k tetherUSD issued). Step 3 Users transact with tethers . The user can transfer, exchange, and store tethers via a p2p opensource, pseudoanonymous, Bitcoinbased platform. Step 4 The user deposits tethers with Tether Limited for redemption into fiat currency. Step 5 Tether Limited destroys the tethers and sends fiat currency to the user’s bank account.

How many people on this board actually use cryptocurrency to buy stuff? Very few, most use it simply as a speculative tool.
And if a bunch of crypto-nerds isn't using it, why on earth would mainstream people use it?
If you'd asked me this question in 2013, I'd have said it would be mainstream by 2020. Now, I think it might not happen at all.
I buy myself almost every substantial with bitcoin directly, plenty of stuff can be bought with Bitcoin directly. Maybe in the middle, the seller is selling my bitcoin right away to get his fiat, but I still pay for the stuff with Bitcoin and it is very convenient. Also, having bitcoin debit cards is also useful, for everyday purchases.

I bought only BTC at 3000$. In 90 minutes, 3556$ . Best price ever. I am thrilled.

Good thing I keep a portion of alts in USDT, now I bought some BTC with 3000$. Good price, I will buy more if it dips more, even better price.
Actually, I did not intended to buy before 1 November, but oh well, such a nice price.

Reste loin!

From what I understand, having all the coins mined, there is no need for fees or confirmations because all the coins have a unique index, ID, moving it doesn't require fee or confirmation, cause they are all there.
So why all the premined shitcoins have fees? What is the story behind the fees, did developers implement the fees just to make some profit?

Better go to Pantera Capital for such advises, not this forum. Here the most will give you tips that are advantaging them first.

Interesting what will happen after 1 November.
|
|
|
This is how madness looks, folks.

Soon you will be happy to dump your shitcoins with 1 cent.
There's absolutely no reason why this should happen. Reasons: 1. Premined 2. Developer "anonymous" 3. It is a bad copy of other TOR integrated coins 4. Centralized and dependent on developers plans 5. Developer staking premined coins 6. Developer using hacked bitcointalk accounts and registered by himself to drop on himself tons of Deep Shit Onions 7. The developer is Vladislav Smolentsev, a known russian scammer There are more points but I don't think you deserve more attention as you are just a shill or a stupid ignorant to see the obvious, all you care is personal profit.

24H Volume dropped to $11 000 In a couple of days it will come to nothing. Orderbook is almost zero ! People already dumping it for $0.69 on novaexchange because they cant find buyers for higher price ! This SCAM is over. Congrats to all deeponion paid shills and spammers, you helped a scammer (dev) get more than $ 300 000 out of this scam. And now just calculate how much did you receive for all your scammy efforts ? Yea.. almost nothing ! This is how the scam works then idiots and beggars are on the hook ! GOOD LUCK !
I POSTED THE SAME POST IN DEEPONION THREAD ! IT WAS DELETED WITHIN 2 MINUTES TOGETHER WITH 3 REPLIES ! LOL !
NovaExchange has difficulties. Some members experienced malfuntions and that's why it's hard to trade DeepOnion these days. DO will be listed on another exchange soon and all those who hold back their trades because they don't like NovaExchange will be able to get their coins on the market. No need anymore to dump them at a super-low price on Nova. Soon you will be happy to dump your shitcoins with 1 cent.

Deep Onion is a scam along with most of the airdrop-ed coins, if not all.

Unfortunately, such topics will keep appearing. I am sorry you didn't see the obvious at the beginning, supporting the scam you helped them. Anyway, better later than never.
Premine = Scam!

Why not both?
