501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you check crypto prices? on: August 17, 2019, 03:31:24 PM
not very often, but every day I definitely take the time to look at crypto prices and read the news. This is very important because otherwise I will never know the latest situation from the crypto market. You all know that the crypto market is rapidly changing, which is why I did this.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ???? on: August 16, 2019, 01:27:11 PM
For long term investment, there are only 3 coins that I can suggest to
1- Bitcoin
2- XRP
3- Ethereum

Never try to invest long term to the small marketcap altcoin. Even Ethereum could be very risky.

yes i agree with you. especially if for long-term investment. investing in altcoin that has a low marketcap will only increase the risk of loss. so our best choice here is only bitcoin and ethereum. only these two coins can be trusted for the long term.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain-based social media worth it? on: August 16, 2019, 12:13:10 PM
actually feasible and this is much safer. but unfortunately everyone is comfortable with the mainstream technology that exists today such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. so it's hard for blockchain-based social media to develop. especially crypto is still a taboo in some countries. so the blockchain social media platform is difficult to get active users.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance's IEO vs Huobi's IEO : Which is better? on: August 15, 2019, 08:20:37 AM
both are good, it's hard to choose one of them. I always participate in both. huobi and binance are good exchanges and I always use them for IEO investments or trading.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What threats does Libra pose on Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2019, 05:05:25 PM
might be able to challenge the dominance of bitcoin. although this possibility is very low, because bitcoin will definitely not be that easy to conquer. but libra could make the crypto market be excited again in the future. there will be positive impacts if libra is released. but I hear this project is still not certain.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market dominance, Good for altcoins or Not on: August 13, 2019, 11:54:01 AM
Bitcoin dominance is not good for altcoins. this makes altcoin easy to manipulate when bitcoin moves. especially now that there are too many altcoins on the market. so this makes altcoin difficult to develop.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alteseason will never happen? on: August 12, 2019, 02:36:39 PM
People are still waiting for the momentum from altcoin, if there will be a whale who pumped altcoin and that will never happen. The main problem altcoin is lack of demand and majority of whales have converted their altcoins to the bitcoin.
This is the real problem faced by altcoin.
The possibility for altcoin to get the bull trend when there will be FOMO.

but it seems difficult, and it takes a lot of money to be able to pump altcoin right now that's why I think whales has more to pump bitcoin.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: beware of IEO SCAM on: August 12, 2019, 02:03:29 PM
It is not logical to make generalizations about SCAM in IEOs. IEO or ICO does not matter. The SCAM project is SCAM. It doesn't matter where the token is sold.

yes you're right, a scam is still a scam. wherever they are will not change anything. so start to be more careful in having projects that you want to invest.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Halving: Less than 6 days to go! on: August 10, 2019, 06:02:24 PM
There is no visible pump that has a big influence on changes in Litecoin prices and has an impact on other cryptocurrencies, this is due to several factors that prevent the pump, bitcoin continues to increase and has been corrected in recent days. as a result it did not turn Litecoin to the moon.

price increases have occurred before halving. so it's normal if after halving the price slowly goes down.

but in the long run, I believe that the litecoin day will go up. so keep waiting and be patient.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Until now, I have always wondered why more of new blockchains are choosing PoS on: August 09, 2019, 01:02:43 PM
POS is more profitable for investors because they only need to have more coins to get a bigger profit. different from POWs which require electricity and maintenance costs. POS is also far more environmentally friendly than POW.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: too many exchanges and will increase in the future, what do you guys think about on: August 09, 2019, 10:59:54 AM
Every coin what to have their own exchange and as many exchange is getting out same as new coins , now I see no reason for too much coin and exchange market as we are only here to play save in the mixed and get little profit we could but many has turn this to scam arena , that is why we see lots of them coming out every seconds with no purpose.

Yeah,,, this is just what people were saying in the year of the crypto winter (2018). Exchanges at first charged a lot of money,,, and coins used to pay at first. But people stopped buying anyway so coins did not want to pay a lot of money. The easier way? Get their own exchange and launch their own listing.

Then you know what happened next? IEO. 2-in-1 ICO and listing;)

yeah you're right, this is just a new way for scammers to commit fraud. even I doubt if they focus on developing after the exchange is released. they just want to take money from there.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC halving , what to expect? on: August 08, 2019, 07:00:19 PM
If we talk about what to expect from LTC halving, we want to see LTC price can back to the higher price and it is on the way to increase, but unfortunately, LTC needs to wait for more so the price can start increase. We need to wait and see when the price can increase and right now, we have more time to buy more LTC if we want. But don't forget that the increase in the price can happen at any time and we should prepare for the coming time, so we don't be late to sell the LTC.
I bought LTC at $ 101 on the 6th and now the price has dropped to $ 90. Should I buy more or just hold and wait for its price to increase?
I lost more than 10% and now I'm quite confused. Please give me some advice, thank you.

I suggest to sell it now. Litecoin prices have dropped to $88, if you still hold it longer than this maybe you will experience a big loss later. wait until the price falls deeper, then you can buy back. That's if you're still interested in holding ltc for the long term.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are focusing on IEO Funds on: August 08, 2019, 05:48:35 PM
IEOs are becoming a threat to those who rely on choosing project from any exchanges, low rated exchanges have already joined the IEO rollercoaster and projects funds are been raised through these low rated exchanges which to me is a very dangerous risks for anyone who invest in projects from low rated exchanges or even new exchanges.

Do not forget that many new projects are coming into crypto space focusing only on the funds they will raised through IEO/ICO

yes you're right, that's why we have to be more selective in choosing which projects to invest in. don't believe too much in the promises they say, good projects usually don't provide promises but tangible evidence. my suggestion is better we don't pay attention to the IEO project in the small exchange. it just makes you waste time.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What does the future holds for crypto? on: August 07, 2019, 06:43:27 PM

1) Will more countries start adopting crypto?
I'm sure there will be many countries developing blockchain.

2) Will bitcoin hits a new all time high just like many predicted?the owner of snapchat predicted that by 2030 bitcoin will hit 500k,too good to be true?
if this I'm not so sure, 2030 is still too far for now. a lot of possibilities will happen in the future, so if you believe in this, isn't it very strange.

3)What about the Government agencies?will they have no choice left but to fully embrace the technology?
sooner or later in the future, the government will definitely legalize crypto.

4)What will be the fate of banking and financial industries?
the banking and financial industry, will be integrated with blockchain. it's not easy to make a bank disappear.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Preferable exchanges for trading bitcoin, altcoins (generally) and tokens. on: August 07, 2019, 05:32:52 PM
[3]: Preferable exchange to trade Ethereum based altcoins: Ethereum based tokens are the most popular tokens out there so it's understandable why we have numerous decentralized exchanges popping out daily to meet the needs of traders wanting to trade this type of tokens. Most of the exchanges that their main or only purpose is to be used to trade this type of token have similar web design and user interface but one exchange stand out above the rest (making it the best) and that's IDEX. Idex is a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange that can be used to trade Ethereum based tokens. Since it's a Dex, it's advisable to understand how to navigate and use the exchange before trying to use it. Transaction made using this exchange aren't reversible if a mistake is made. You're in control of your funds so you're also responsible for protecting yourself from malicious links and hacks.

If you are to use IDEX as your best example of a DEX, please include also the information that users will have to pass KYC before they can withdraw their eth or tokens. I personally do not like IDEX that much, I prefer DDEX and even Forkdelta now.

IDEX is no longer a good DEX. they are no longer anonymous because users are required to verify KYC. so this exchange does not enter as one of the best.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of tokens that did not update their Bitcointalk thread on: August 06, 2019, 12:39:16 PM
there are many reasons why they don't share updates on ANN threads. actually we can find out to their blogs, groups or social media accounts. without having to fixate on ANN thread. I guess this is normal because maybe they don't have time for that. as long as the project is active I think it's okay not to update thead
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: binance dex different from other dex exchanges? on: August 06, 2019, 10:25:47 AM
why are developers aiming for binance dex when liquidity is still the biggest problem of dex exchanges? Apart from the big name 'binance' what did the dex have to offer that's different  from other dex exchanges?I don't see any difference,do you?

Binance Dex having an amazing UI, has some features that stands it out from the rest.
Firstly, they have the cheapest fees among DEX, i.e. when you pay in BNB.
And even if you don't have BNB, you can pay the fees in almost any currency. While most of the DEX are either specific to Ethereum network or other similar platforms.

yes you're right, this is what distinguishes DEX binance from other DEX. from UI and fees, Binance is far superior. and for trading volume in Binance DEX is also quite large, even though he is a new DEX.

519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can bounty with large allocations make you profitable ?? on: June 16, 2019, 08:26:01 AM
nothing is profitable when a campaign has a big reward. it will only make the future of the project threatened. if the sales of this token are not as expected, inflation will be on the market because the tokens are more than the bounty. investors will be afraid to hold long term.

and large allocations are also sometimes very unfavorable for bounty participants. the manager and the project team have the power to change the rules when the campaign ends, they may cut the allocation. because they think very big and so on.

there have been many projects like this, at the beginning they promised big rewards. many participants were interested and finally joined, but in the end they were like I said before. so don't believe things like this.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does exchanges do differently for IEO? on: May 27, 2019, 03:45:09 PM
I know that there has been hype all over the forum on IEO projects and we trust them because they are being guaranteed by exchanges, most especially top exchanges. Now the question is, what does exchanges do differently that makes them certify that a project is not a scam project and have a reliable team or that the project will stand the test of time?
I think they have to do verification and auditing starting from the team background, company assets, and maybe everything. so they can prove that the project is real and not fraud.
