502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jiyo token increased 5000% in just a minute on: July 12, 2018, 02:07:12 PM
Why would anyone pump it so hard? What benefit would they make with it? Soon more people would add their holding to sell order.
I don't think they'll lure any sane investors to buy the coin is such higher price.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Jiyo token increased 5000% in just a minute on: July 12, 2018, 01:45:59 PM
Jiyo token had a exceptional growth and it's not among the smaller cap coins but a total marketcap of $85,145,442 USD at the moment. Making it top 100 coins by total marketcap.
Is this the ultimate example of pump?

Note I have already tagged the 3.

Not sure what happened there but I forgot to tag them, have done so now.

The ID is also linked to red trust ID, Pk880058 which is not active since 2016.

As stated in list maintained by lauda.

btcdevil has sent 26 merit to hubballi in last 120 days and received 13 from him. So they are merit abusers too.

susila_bai too have sent 6 merit to hubballi and received 10 from him and 7 from equator. That's too a proof.
Have a look at the quality of merited post of susila_bai

505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum Achieve 1 Million Transactions Per Second? on: July 07, 2018, 03:30:49 PM
They need it. The congestion are getting worse each day and there are no other way for ethereum to survive.
If they don't be able to make a visible change, people would shift to other options.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fighting MEW Scam on: June 25, 2018, 11:14:11 PM
If we don't fall for these phising sites, they'll be paying for sending email and hosting their site but get nothing in return. The best way to tackle them is to not fall for them and help others from being scammed.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is block.one EOS ? on: June 25, 2018, 11:10:06 PM
I read that block.one got 4 billion for ICO phase and is EOS coin or something? What do you know about it , is it different or it is directly the EOS coin?

You can consider block.one a company and EOS it's product.
block.one though is not limited to EOS and states as "Block.one designs free market systems to secure life, liberty, and property by publishing open source software that is free for everyone to use."
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merit Gain for advancement on: June 25, 2018, 10:48:29 PM
Hello guys ,

I am in this forum since 2 - 3 month and as you can i am a jr. Member.  so , i was thinking if there are some tips to advance to member and Sr. member and so on ? I would really appreciate the feedback.

Thanks

Nabin Khadka

You need to continue to make quality posts to attain merits from other forum users to advance to the next rank. If you are able to get 10 merits you can move from Jr member to member rank.
So if  i have no merit i can never go to another level ?

Yes, merit is the primary limiting factor for rising the ranks in the forum. For it, you should be able to attract interest of people that provide merit. That can be done by posting quality post and replies.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin of the exchanges on: June 19, 2018, 03:40:54 PM
The best part of holding exchange coins is that they'll profit in both bearish and bullish market.
You can see how binance's BNB rises after a bull and a bear and is already at number 15 beside monero.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron [TRX] Going to Hit $1 Soon, Here’s Why on: June 19, 2018, 03:36:12 PM
They are already on the increase. They have a better review than EOS and their mainnet is launching soon. They have a highly professional team.
You can expect a great rise on the price soon.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coins are good right now? on: June 18, 2018, 02:59:06 PM
Look for the news. Have a look at the project. The white paper, the team and the objective.
Have a look at its history, price and roadmap ahead.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are safe investment but only newer coins would give you exponential profit.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down to the price of $ 6000, is this a sign of BItcoin going to slump de on: June 15, 2018, 03:26:30 PM
What was the price of Bitcoin on June 15, 2017. i.e. exact one year in the past?
Ans - $2277
What's the current price?
Ans - $6566
That's nearly thrice the price. What more profit do you aspect in a year?
If we leave the unnatural hikes and lows aside, bitcoin price is increasing.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low market makes ICOs cheaper on: June 15, 2018, 03:22:34 PM
That is if you are buying bitcoin or ethereum with fiat and buying a token whose price is pegged to ethereum or bitcoin.
When you are buying with your hodled coins on low market, you are actually paying more.
And none of the calculation works for token pegged on USD value.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that STABLECOINS are needed in the future of crypto payments? on: June 15, 2018, 03:20:39 PM
As we have concluded that cryptocurrency are not just for daily transactions or payments, so we need to categorize them.
Current leaders of market are useless in daily payments and it's felt that we need some stable coins, something pegged to fiat like Tether to go on with daily payments.
For example a cent coin, 1 coin = 1 cent (USD) with a flat fees of 1 cent per transaction would make things easier.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought ETH yesterday and guess what happened next on: June 13, 2018, 12:27:16 PM
The economics tells you that if you believe in the company (coin in this case), you should buy more and more as it decreases to lower your average cost.
Or if  you are certain of the decrease, you can sell now, wait it to further decrease and buy again.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ongoing ICO this week ? on: June 13, 2018, 12:24:52 PM
It's Ubex.
They reached the soft cap in a single day and are already to half of their hard cap with 2 whole months remaining.
It'll most probably reach the hard cap even before the said date. They are providing a 14% bonus at current time.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is LTC still good to invest? on: June 09, 2018, 02:44:09 PM
LTC is a dead coin. The founder have left it and just some scrypt miners are mining it to utilize their hardware.
It has slow development, fading community. It's only use was to be a lighter and quicker form of bitcoin which is already replaced by many other coins.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill gates says cryptocurrency is bad on: June 08, 2018, 02:19:09 AM
There is good and bad in every technology. It's upto us how to use it.
Restrictions would always find a loophole to go through.
Drugs trade and illegal activities were going even before the invention of cryptocurrency.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero a Good Investment? on: June 07, 2018, 02:45:06 PM
Monero is the only cryptocurrency left with the intention of decentralised mining, Most of other coins have reached industrial grade of mining.
Monero keeping a high level of anonymity is also an educationally or experimentally feasible mineable coin with a decentralized community.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what are some important criteria to note before involving a bounty programme on: June 05, 2018, 02:34:18 AM
Joining a popular project will have less chances of being scammed. No risk of not reaching the cap.
Projects managed by popular managers are generally easier to deal with as the manager does their best to work for the benefits of participants, have good contact with the issuer and are good at filtering cheaters.
