501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Cryptos finally getting stable? on: August 25, 2018, 04:09:37 PM
It feels like it's this time of the year again for the bullish market. Not sure if it's gonna the same as last year though. But many will recover. Whaddya think?

I think the prices are just based on the state of bitcoin. But, good coins will rise and bad coins will stay in the ground. What happened last year is a good thing and I hope what happened last year in the crypto market also happens this year so we can all get our profit.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it time to start buying Bitcoin again? on: August 23, 2018, 10:27:14 AM
You should really consider buying bitcoin especially nowadays when the market is really low. Some investors actually hopes that it will go down further in order to let them invest more money and hold again before the price goes to the moon.
503  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Questions for Bounty Hunters on: August 23, 2018, 10:25:51 AM
I'm doing some research on bounty hunting and I would like any information bounty hunters and campaign managers might be able to offer me. I'm looking for your experiences, earnings successes and failures, experiences with scams and fraudulent projects, your outlook for bounty hunting for the immediate and long term future, etc. Any posts would be appreciated and any information you offer would be held confidential. You can reply in this thread or PM if you prefer. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I think research is not enough and you should have enough experience and luck. In my first experience in joining a bounty campaign, I didn't even do any research and still manage to get a profitable amount of money. From there, I had clues on which type of campaigns you should join.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETC worth as a long term or short term on: August 23, 2018, 10:24:32 AM
Hi all
ETC was added to coinbase recently as you all probably  know. What do you think about future of this coin? It definitely will grow overtime (being the cheapest coin on Coinbase, so psychologically new influx of people will tend to opt to buy it , IMHO) . Having said that, will it be PUMP and Dump future or this coin worth to hold long term? Or you are staying away from this coin?

I think ETC should still be done in a long-term holding because it will lose its essence as a good coin if people are just going to dump it away without any signs of price increase, it will really be useless. Especially nowadays when the market is still red.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is everyone’s favourite Altcoin heading into the second half of 2018? on: August 22, 2018, 01:42:44 PM
I think the only similarity between coins is they're coins. The way they work on their coin and how they promote their coin is really important. Because of that, I can say there is still a lot of altcoin that can be a top contender and become favorite of the people. But personally I really like stratis.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where To Invest 750$ on: August 21, 2018, 11:26:36 AM
Hi guys i have 750$ in my pocket right now and i want to invest that in crypto so can you guys suggest me where can i invest those. It will be really helpful for me as I'm newbie in Crypto field.

I would like to suggest you check waves, stratis, and XRP. But everything in the top 50 is pretty dope and they know what they're doing. You can check coins at lower prices especially in this season where the market is really low.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you selective when you participating in ICOs? on: August 20, 2018, 01:56:25 PM
You should be. Not all ICOs can really turn your money into something like big profits. You should be aware of things such as scams or bad ICOs. Research thoroughly on ICOs in order for you to have really good profits.
508  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: meta mask on: August 20, 2018, 12:06:30 PM
I'm logged out of my metamask extension, I tried to visit a fake bitcointalk website, and it gave me this -

Logged in or not, you'll be safe from phishing sites.

EDIT: Use firefox or brave browser for your metamask extension. There was an issue about metamask extension on chrome before, although it was already fixed, it might happen again.

Oh, nice I got that one too before. Hahahah though it is not a fake bitcoin website. I really feel safe using this platform and thank you for the answer you gave. Now I know that as long as the meta mask is in the chrome extension, it will still work even without an account logged in.
509  Other / Beginners & Help / meta mask on: August 19, 2018, 10:59:21 PM
As long as the meta mask on your chrome extensions, does that mean it will prevent phishing links?
No account logged in required?
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub has started accepting crypto on: August 18, 2018, 02:39:17 PM
I think this is a good news in the crypto community because it only means that Pornhub supports cryptocurrency. I hope that countries who want to ban cryptocurrency will make it legal as well. I think support coming from different areas could also make the prices go higher.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find if airdrop is fake on: August 18, 2018, 02:33:24 PM
The only thing I know on how do you spot a fake project, airdrop is that they are asking for payment (ethereum most is most common). But I think you'll probably know if you read things like the whitepaper or ask for the experts' advice.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Security on: August 16, 2018, 11:02:27 AM
Someone close lost his bitcoin to some scammers who posed as an ICO project admin.
We have the wallet address but there's no way on planet earth to trace the fraudster offline.

Don't you think its high time , this is looked into.
There needs to be a way of linking account owners to their offline address .
This would mitigate  in no small measure the prevalence of frauds.

I think it is impossible for you to do that. Better use some security related applications or ledger in order to decrease the chances of getting hacked. Because it is true that there is no way that you can really trace hackers here so all you have to do is stay cautious and be careful of links. Fake ICOs are also popular in cryptocurrency world.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buying at the dip on: August 16, 2018, 10:58:44 AM
I want to buy some altcoins due this big dip and strenght my long term position with several coins...

I'm going to strength my position in:

-NEO
-TRX
-EOS

and, perhaps in ETH

What do you think... is there any other altcoin that could be the next surprise after this present dip?

I would recommend you to consider buying WAVES and stratis. But anyway, I think most of the coins in the top 50 as long as it is cheap are worth for long-term holding. Sometimes, I think it is just a matter of lack when a coins takes over the other coin. But your three choices are also great and you can go with them if you really want.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy more ETH? on: August 16, 2018, 10:47:19 AM
I think you should because Ethereum still have a great future ahead. And If you are going to buy at green, that is going to be bad because you won't be able to buy more. The rule is buy at red and get some money if it is green. You should always follow that so it doesn't matter if the market is bad.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is our money in crypto? on: August 15, 2018, 12:29:36 PM
Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.

But we can still manage to avoid such things buy using applications like metamask and buying a ledger. Though there is no guarantee, it can lessen the chances of you losing money by hackers. Even the money that is not related to cryptocurrency, it is not even sure that your money is secured. Because even your credit card could get hacked.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICOs are profitable, but not always going to be the case. on: August 14, 2018, 11:44:55 AM
guys, i think it is important that we all take special notice on the ICO profitability and make something out it.

These good times may not last forever brothers and sisters.

Wish me the best as i wish you all the same. To the moon/ Lambos of 2018, I toss this drink to us all My friends.

We will be rich soon

Well, you should always do research before participating in different ICOs because you might just throw your money in the end and no one wants that to happen. Making special notice on the ICO profitability takes a lot of effort. And also, you should have enough luck as well.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: God save Crypto on: August 14, 2018, 11:38:34 AM
No one knows what will happen to cryptocurrencies right now. We already seen this before and I don't think we should really worry about it. I am still expecting that the coins will spike up anytime soon because I think the whales are still playing with us.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt coin are bleeding badly on: August 13, 2018, 11:19:22 AM
Recently since Bitcoin are up trends but all most all alt coin are bleeding badly. Really it wasn't expected Angry. On previous record we can see if Bitcoin bump tham alt was bump more. I don't know the exact reason for that. I guess alt are waiting for Bitcoin ETF ( Excahnge Traded Fund) for SEC approval. We expect midle of next month we can see the result. Till that alt coin holder should be pataine. At least Bitcoin on bulls run that is good sign for alt holder. Once a time alt will bump too.

I really can't say that bitcoin is on the uptrends. Yes, it may push a little harder but it will go back to its original price quickly than before. I can only say that altcoins will rise if the bitcoin will pump hard just like what happened last year.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Most reputable bounty on: August 13, 2018, 11:11:30 AM
Can you name the most reputable campaign managers you know? I've been involved in a lot of bounty projects, almost all of them scams, anyone who has this status is like me, Please list me some reputable bounty managers so that I can join, thank you

I can say that most of them are the legendary members because they've been here in the forum for a long period of time. Examples are Lauda, Deadley, and Wapinter. But there are other bounty hunting platforms out there where some say that they are reliable as well.
