Yes some annoncement about the demo could be a great news, a lot of people wait for that, and a demo is a nice thing to bring trust to investors. I hope repu team will be more active before the start of the ico.
As far as i know it won't be there before the end of the ico but of course it would be great. I think silence of the development team due to hard work, they are working very hard to create a demo hopefully? I think so too but at the same time there's no shame in admitting there's delays with the ICO. I think that due to they are focus on developing the platform they have forgotten a little the forum. Maybe they should have a community manager to handle this. true, they should have a person full time, handling these things. |

Me neither. I never saw such payment model as well. But idk how they will implement it. It must be a very complex coding then. I don't know. Speed tests are very common and have been around for years. People also will not cheat the system because if you have a fast connection you want to use it for the best quality. Indeed, is not like you gain anything by watching a movie at a shitty quality to save a small amount of money That's a good system. I also think that people who have fast speed connection would be able to choose what quality they want to save money. not sure how they're gonna implement that. most countries don't have a high speed connection, like 100Mbs. those are very expensive. |

Everybody in the world will own a smartphone in the near future. That's the time when cryptocurrencies will get huge. in 2025 for sure everyone will have a smartphone, also in poor countries Literally no , because there are some tribes that dont want to follow the technology and stay primitive. And also there are even some areas that have no asphalt road and electricity yet. I don't think you can count them for this kind of statistic. But if you count them, of course, you are definitely right. Also as far as i know they are not counted in those kind of statistics.(I read in somewhere some time ago) but with cheap and reliable products increased in worldwide markets, we'll see these techs advantages. Mobile phones infrastructure is much easier to create and cheaper than cable based Internet. You just have to erect some signal towers every 20 miles or so. The good think about the smatphones is that almost everyone has one and you can use it everywhere. true, phones are now so cheap, you have to actively not want one to avoid it. or if you're old and can't handle the technology. |

I think we need to know a more accurate update on Sphere's current users to date. I would assume it will have surpassed the 200k users range now? For some period of time i know that number, i think its increased a little bit more with referral program, as its becoming more public. I already think that 200k is a huge number for the platform at this stage. It's really looking good. it's a good start, but you need millions to make it viable. hopefully the number will increase soon. |

I bet everything on the possibility that Ethereum will come up with the perfect scaling methods. There is so much money involved and the incentive to solve the problem are extremely strong. They will make it happen.

What I don't understand about this project is how it can run on Ethereum?
Steemit can do 100k transactions a second and Ethereum can do like 15 per second.
Assuming Sphere uses a tenth of Ethereum's capacity, then Sphere can do like 1.5 transactions per second versus Steemit's 100,000k per second?
Is my math wrong or what am I missing?
Do you need Ethereum gas to do anything on Sphere? Shouldn't Sphere realistically be be built on Eos or Neo or a blockchain that scales?
Or is the plan to just wait and hope that Ethereum finds a way to scale?
I'm not sure if it's just token use Ethereum blockchain and transaction. The project itself will have its own network， own chain. If use Ethereum the gas fee is so high they better develop their own chain, otherwise it's gonna be expensive to use this platform. |

Yes thats true, i think thats why biotron doesnt hold any bounty campaign yet, maybe they will follow sophiattx marketing strategy. As far as I understood there is content produced by them but also content which is user backed. I think this is also applying to tv shows/series. As far as I know , they wont produce film/tv series by their own team, but they will just provide a crowdfunding opportunity for film maker. they will provide crowdfunding on the platform , that's what so attractive. |

Their Telegram has 20k members so it could probably make sense for them to focus on Telegram if they are short on manpower.
There is nothing like short on manpower. If they really have no time to post here they could find a community manager. This is something normal like all other ICOs are doing this. This could be big problem for them and i think this is the case, they lack manpower and looks like they will have to make some decisions and hire more people they trust in order to stay in touch with their potential investors. A lack in manpower is not a problem that you can't overcome. They have a clear concept and just need to sort out how to materialize it. Good employees are not so easy to find themselves in the team. They need to be trusted and this is not done quickly. if they need new people they're gonna hire them after the ICO , when full development will start. |

yes a video interview with Mihai Manolache would be nice, hope we will see later more big names how Aubrey de Grey.
I guess within the next weeks we will be able to see videos of some more team members. Although their videos aren't the most fanciest I actually like them and the chance to get to know the team a bit, like their motivation or their field of work. The more we know about the team members especially through the videos, the more confidence we will get. That is good for the future of ehealth project. Yeah, promotional stuff is really necessary. They should aggressively work on the marketing department. marketing is vital for any project to get of the ground. especially for this one with such a long roadmap. They have a long roadmap, meanwhile they are planing big , and is very laid back in marketing.. it seems I have never found information like marketing will be organized after the conduct of the ICO. After all, the most important thing is that the project has not lost the interest of investors before the launch of the platform! marketing needs to be done pre-ICO and after the product is ready. that how you achieve success. |

i think what is important is to have a decent amount of content to be watched and keep adding new and interesting content as much as possible.
obviously if you want it to succeed they need to constantly add content and make the platform better. remains to be seen if they manage to do that. |

It is nice that they are trusting their project to go without bounty and airdrops.
Bounty and airdrops come from investors pocket and bring money to companies so investors should be happy because they chose this way.

they have big projects,roadmap distributed over a long term time, maybe they should somehow intensify the advertising campaign, make it more aggressive...i am also curious to know how much they have raised... I hope there will be a good news that this will be developed faster than planned , maybe only 2-3 years, so i can enjoy this technology while im still young. And also see the result of my investment  Better long developement than shitty short developement. I dont mind the long roadmap as long as there are no competitors that will surpass them. Rushed developement never ends well in computer science. Never. I didnt say they should rush it, but i guess they dont really sure about the estimated development time since they dont even start it. it's a complex process, don't judge it as of yet. |

i agree with you they should communicate a bit more, im trying to follow them on twitter as well but i didn't hear much so far. yeah, it seems like they abandoned the community in limbo. So much silence isnt a good sign normally, but maybe they're hard at work because of the ICO? I really just hope that they are just working hard to find private investors or so. Someone here is active in their Telegram and know if devs are available there? have some patience , periods of silence are natural for most projects. they're not beneficial, but not necessarily a bad sign. |

Bounty for movies subtittle could be the better solution to reduce the costs that may expensive with the normal way.
I like this idea... should be pitched to the dev team. Reward people for making good subtitles OR correcting existing ones... sounds nice and interesting I think its a marvelous idea, one translator for translating and one translator for checking that translation, some bounty awards to those translators, nice and clean job, also quick payment opportunity for translators worldwide. It was my idea, but I never got a response here nor did they answer this question in AMA, where I suggested it too. So I think devs are not interested. How do you want to judge is subtitles are good, bad or just straight out of Google translate? Community voting could be a good idea. Votes will decide if a sub is good or not. that could be a way to use voting. but honestly if they stream movies, won't these come with official subtitles? |

i don't think people interested in investing would partecipate in an airdrop, in my opinion they are just a waste of time and attract just people who want to grab few dollars
Sure, id say 80% of the people participating in an airdrop are just there for the quick dollars, but there are also the 20% who are interested in the project and might invest airdrop is a very good way to advertise, it will reach a lot of investors agreed, there will always be people who become aware of the project thru these. it's not a bad thing. |
