501  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 2 X ASIC Block Erupter Blades - in hand in USA on: June 08, 2013, 04:14:37 AM
20 BTC + 50% of anything mined for the next two years. You would basically get 20BTC up front and about 60-100 give or take over the next two years. That's a good deal!

Sorry that doesnot work... I have already paid for it.. I don't necessarily have to sell it.. but am selling it because i need the money upfront due to some emergency..

503  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 2 X ASIC Block Erupter Blades - in hand in USA on: June 07, 2013, 02:36:34 PM
Getting offers through PM.!

Take it then. I can't believe people are paying more than 25 BTC for one of these things...

You don't really get math, do you?

I believe you spelt the word "greed" incorrectly...

It's greed that people want to make money from the work they do?

Seems to me like paying BTC50 for a blade is a lot less greedy than asking for one for BTC25...

Thanks BlackLilac. Appreciate it.!
The current best offer out of all the PM's i have is 41 BTC / each + Shipping.

As a gesture of goodwill. I shall wait until the end of auction to decide.!

I've given up worrying about the website it's always buggy, my daily payouts are at the expected amount for my hashrate and have been this way for months, which is the only thing that matters.

How do you withdraw the payment without the site working properly.?
(unless you have set regular payout which is still not accurate)

I set up 24 regular payouts so 00:00 01:00 02:00 etc equal to the amount I should get each day, normally arrives around 8am, if it doesn't I know there is a problem
Yup.. This is a great Idea.. I had only a 1 or 2 payments setup and sometimes it used to miss that deadline by a a couple of mbtc's and i had to wait for the next payout.!

508  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Comprehensive ASICMiner Blade Setup on: June 06, 2013, 08:23:28 PM
What can I do about following problem:
I have two blades running on high clock with enough(!) air cooling which menas 2x 120mm fans on the sinks and 1x 120mm fan on the back to get air circulation on the back. And this fans does cool each of the blades.

Now I´m running a stratum proxy on a RSPi which also runns fine. But from time to time the blades seem to restart and at the time of my notice they have run for about 4-10 hours on low clock speed.

What can be the problem here? What about some ideas to prevent this?

The blade restarts when it is not getting any work. One problem would be pool servers. I have faced this problem when using a less stable pool.
Also friedcat confirmed that when a blade restarts, it picks low or high clock based on the voltage that it has at its disposal or something on those lines.

My concern is that whoever owns the 50btc forum account has logged on, but has not posted anything this month. It would be reassuring to have some communication from the pool ops. It's almost as if they don't care about their users.

I second that.! They have been updating the title of this thread (from [19TH] to [22TH] and now [20TH]) but not responding to the users.!

It's not the server pool it's the website graph etc ... under maintenance by the way

Yes i just figured it out... The pool itself seems to be running..!
Phew just the website.!!

just hit the page and got the "Down for Maintenance" page...we'll see how long this lasts and if the maintenance fixes the issues...

Hopefully it does.. Else.. i think am gonna moveon..

Now the website is not accessible. It says it is under maintenance.!

Latest layout:

Wind tunnel design helps a LOT, conveys all the heat up and away. Everything much cooler and with lower fan speeds.

Couldn't agree more.! That wind tunnel really helps.
My mounting case is also designed keeping that in mind.!

Side view : Here you can see blades and 2 fans at the bottom. The fans on the heat sinks are fixed to the frame using the corner brackets and the blade is fixed to the fan using the cable ties. It is pretty rock solid and firm. No vibration or noise of any kind.

Close up of Side View

View of the complete setup. Apart from the 6 X 120 mm fans, i have a Honeywell HT-900 table fan blowing from the side to keep the entire system cool.

Both the signatories on the pdf seem like Indian names.

Preet Bharara & Jaikumar Ramaswamy. Sigh....

Isn't Preeth Bharara and Jaikumar Ramaswamy the IRS attorneys.?
I remember seeing their interviews on TV
515  Local / India / Re: Some of our friends spoiling our reputation across the board.! on: June 05, 2013, 11:01:14 AM
this board like no any other can smell the rat, retards never can influence any one's opinion here.

besides some times when I forget to switch of VPN my IP can be from USA. That does not means I will spoil a reputation of USA's community, by posting stupid staff.

Yes that could be a case but look at his past posts.!! Am sure that this user is not technologically skilled enough to know the working of a VPN.
Moreover, if i would choose to use a VPN, then i would defn not choose a VPN server in India. Just my thoughts.!

If one user goes mad and does not behave sane, does not mean the board is doing wrong and he is spoiling our image..

Cheers

I couln't agree more.. but it just feels bad when he is proving how retard he is..! That was extreme.!
516  Local / India / Some of our friends spoiling our reputation across the board.! on: June 04, 2013, 07:48:20 PM
Hey Guys...

Look at these retarded guys.. One of them faked JohnK's escrow contract and his signature and the other is abusing the seller in the public forum.
Astonishing thing is that the IPCheck of both of them turned out to be from India.!

Why do some guys do this and spoil it for us to do legit business.! Pardon my words but how retard should he be to forge a PGP key of JohnK.!

517  Economy / Services / Re: [3 Vouch Copies] Website Vulnerablity Scanning [Only charge if problem found!] on: June 04, 2013, 07:32:19 PM

514 Files
129 Directories
scanned.

Apache/2.2.22 (Ubuntu)

No vulnerablities found

Seriously guys..? You are willing to post your site address and admin login URL publicly on a forum like these.?
Added to that you are posting the scan details here after the scans..! Scan reports should be treated as CONFIDENTIAL and PRIVILEGED.

Secondly, ASICPool : wherever you are offering your services from.. If you scan any server hosted in USA. The hosting companies have the right to get back at you through your ISP. Even the site owner donot have the permissions to run Vulnerability scans without the written permission from the hosting companies / network providers.! Always, save your a** legally in a written format.!

Just my 2 cents!

P.S : Am a cyber security and digital forensics specialist myself and work with a security company and carryout pentesting projects for Fortune 500 companies day in and day out...!
518  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [30000 GH] BTC Guild - PPS/PPLNS with TxFees, Stratum+Vardiff ASIC Tested on: June 04, 2013, 11:51:51 AM
No guarantees on a time table, but I'm setting time aside tomorrow to begin working on a branch of the BTC Guild stratum pool server that will implement merged mining.  Technical details regarding how to implement merged mining have finally been added to the Bitcoin wiki.  Until that was added, the only guidance I've found were reverse engineering the mergedmining proxy that some pools used in the past, or trying to look through the namecoin source and working backwards from there.

Awesome.. good news.. looking forward to it.!
Thanks.

@eleuthria

Is there anything against us creating multiple accounts to put different workers on (Avalons etc) to track their lifetime earnings easier?

Dude you brought Avalons as well..?

Hashed for an hour and only received about 85% of what I should have according to my usual hash rate.  I've found that the worker and summary windows are completely unreliable, showing my miners as offline sometimes even though they are submitting shares that are accepted.

I relied on the "balance" window which was updating at the correct rate as of yesterday.  Today it is not.

I am getting frustrated finding a reliable PPS pool.

Exactly same here.! My workers are showing offline since today morning (about 6 hours now).
The payout amount used to update till yesterday but now i don't think it is updating as well or if it is, then it is updating intermittently.

P.S : did anyone notice that that thread title has been updated today. Until yesterday, it was showing [19 TH/s] which now shows [22 TH/s].
This means that the pool admin is active on this thread and is watching us facing troubles but just ignoring us.

I guess this is the time that we look for a new pool.!
