501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining advice on: August 07, 2018, 02:07:39 AM
Hi I am new in mining I just need advice I have a core i5 4th gen CPU is it wise to mine a smaller coin to convert it for a bigger coin so I can exchange it for cash to buy a good GPU. I would appreciate good advice thank you

You should have better equipment than that, mining is not easy. I already did that and stop it because need electricity in high quantity and the result is very small, can't pay the bills. I suggest you try referral program to raise higher speed from your mining activity. Before that, please calculate your in out income because bitcoin price is too low. Think again before start and good luck to you.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Instagram Bounties on: August 01, 2018, 04:13:56 AM
Why do ICO projects never utilize Instagram for bounty activities.  It seems like a lot of people like that site and it's very popular.  It's very surprising to me crypto has not made it's way over there yet.

I believe some of them already use Instagram to promote the ICO project, this is good social media platform to grow up audiences to raise higher number. Development team also have opinion why they should use or not, we can't push them in this condition. Just follow several program, finish the task and enjoy the journey.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty hunters partners of an ICO project? on: August 01, 2018, 03:27:07 AM
Some bounty managers show disrespect for bounty hunters that sometimes make me wonder if the bounty hunters are seen as part of the project or they are seen as people who are just in for the tokens.I think that bounty hunter are the first strong partners that every ICO can ever have. These people sacrifice their sleep to create contents so that they can promote the project for its success so that they can also get their rewards accordingly.

I agree with opinion bounty hunters is not part of an ICO project, they only promote the project. Partners is people/ institution have already replace their technology system or fund into project, without that we can't call them partners. Bounty hunters position is out side the ICO project and can be used to grow up audiences/ members and make people invest into ICO project.
504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think, will BTC again jump in December? on: August 01, 2018, 02:11:53 AM
Hello Guys
I think, that will a BTC in next one or two months going down but, no so much, and then coming next jump. But this time, I think it will take longer and maybe will come also a new record resault. I will appreciate an expert comment.

Possibility always there but you should have good plan and back up plan the reality is not same. I believe this situation will running until next year and I hope I have enough patience. I can't suggest anything else, just keep your faith and please, find another way to make money out side crypto market.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much return I can expect from investing in IvyKoin? on: July 31, 2018, 04:41:48 AM
I am thinking about investing in IvyKoin. Is it a good idea? How much profit I can expect? Any suggestion?

The question is how good your calculation and do you realize that market also have their own answer. You can take any coin to replace your trust but if you're not sure please leave it. How much profit is relative, you can set it in minimum number or the highest number ever. But set it as reality condition is the right step. IvyKoin is good, you can try it.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto: Education is a key to success on: July 31, 2018, 02:19:16 AM
Academic qualifications are important and so is financial education. They're both important and schools are forgetting one of them. - Robert Kiyosaki.

I believe 100% of agree that "Education as a key to success", including in cryptoworld. In this very beginning era of crypto, kinda upset when someone ask what blockchain is. We already know that crypto ROI is crazy that you can change your life. On the era of blockchain, people need to be informed well so that they can make a good decision.

Sometimes, I see a people buy coins based on twitter, friend's recommendation, or telegram group. It's okay for me, especially if that calls are good calls. But what if it's not good at all, who to blame? It's you, yourself.

We are very grateful that some people remain good, even in cryptoworld. I found some on telegram groups and website that you may be look at it, they are educating you to behave in this cryptoworld. Yes, EDUCATE you. They don't tell you to buy a coin, they tell you to understand about Technical Analysis especially.

For example: CryptoVince in telegram. Vince is really good at giving a technical analysis. I do have to tell you to trust no one in crypto. You have to learn yourself. You can just follow him to start learning about TA. Just take a look. If he gave a call, consider it as bonus.

Another example is Trade.io. Trade.io was a succesful ICO in 2017, acquiring more than 30$ million. Now, they are launching their own unique exchange. It's customizable exchange, and soon they will trade not only crypto, but also commodities, CFD, and forex. They are regulated exchange. What's good is, with their well-experienced team, they believe the need of community to be well informed in this new financial market is crucial. So, they give a free education for you, for us. They teach you how to read candle, the reason why or why not to hold, etc.

There a not much people out there willing to share their knowledge concerning financial world.
Go register yourself at trade.io and they will give you some education about candle, TA, fundamental, etc.

Mostly I agree with you but never forget about practice, meaning test your strategy on real market and profit not become the main purposes. Practice make perfect, even there's no perfect strategy on real market but from there we can learn market works and face risk. Basic knowledge never change but strategy always change depend market trend and trader/ investor style ( characteristic ). Keep going and enjoy the journey.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from your mistakes on: July 30, 2018, 04:22:47 AM
Every mistake has its lessons. When you make a mistake, there are three things you should do: admit it, learn from it and do not repeat it.
Ever since i had been in this space, i have only been used to bitcoin, ethereum, NEO, waves, tokens that use their platform and some other very common coins, but just this week was my first time of transacting fully on XLM platform.
I got a token that uses the platform of Stellar (XLM) and i was able to trade the token into XLM on their decentralized exchange.
My mistake came in when i was about to transfer the XLM, to be traded into BTC on another exchange.
I thought the process of transfer would be the one i had been used to, not knowing that i was supposed to include a "MEMO".
I eventually transferred it, waited for hour, but found nothing.
I was bothered.
It was in that process i got to know that memo was to be included. That was my mistake.
I admitted i had made the mistake.
The lesson i learnt is to always study every thing first (both new and old, because old things can still change), before jumping into it.
This mistake i have made up my mind to never repeat again.

I AM SHARING THIS FOR YOU TO LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES AND FROM YOURS.

Thanks for your audience.

Learn from mistake and ignore others opinion about trade/ invest signal is tips to get success on real market. We all know that but how we stop that is hard, example is me. In many times I break my rules, always change the setting if the market is fit with my calculation. This is bad but my psychology is not strong, lost in big number not give me valuable experience, just gone. I hope will end now and I'll never give up about this one.
508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning day trading on: July 30, 2018, 03:25:33 AM
Recently I asked about day trading tips on this forum and got really nice response. Some one introduced me to Voodoo day trading community where I found perfect atmosphere to learn day trading and technical analysis: https://discord.gg/yBmNzRm  I have spent last whole week in the free channel in the group and learnt some interesting tricks and earned a decent amount of money.

Although free channel has helped me immensely so far but it feels like to reach the next level, I have to join paid channel. I wanted to ask that is it worth to pay for learning day trading or I could found free stuff instead? This forum has been a great help to me in past. I hope I will get some valuable feedback this time too.

I leave day trading because too many loss I get, market change every second and make my strategy not worth. Actually I like day trading, no need too long for take profit/ stop loss, so we always change follow the trend and make us know the top/ bottom in correct number. But news and speculation change everything I knew, all gone in hour. I just can say good luck for all day trader.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your favorite Altcoins to trade or HODL right now? on: July 30, 2018, 01:20:54 AM
Indeed, it is very obvious that they are so many new and fresh altcoins the market right now but despite all of these, what Altcoins do you invest with and believes it will be a huge success and can give you the desired profit you want?

I have ETH, ATL and CS, not popular but depend my calculation it will survive. Eth is good and until now become the main income for me. About ATL and CS, I calculate depend technical method and have faith they will have good price action. Now I only invest/ trade with coins that have history, ignore new coin because they don't have proof to survive. Let them show their performance and good luck to you.
510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or mining? on: July 30, 2018, 12:23:23 AM

Just had a chat with my friend on setting up mining in my farm house. He advised and suggested more to invest in crypto currencies then investing and spending time in mining. What you guys would suggest me of. Or shall i start with small investment on mining from house with rigs attached to system i have in my house and start a farm house once experienced or do not get into mining? Suggest me dudes.

For people who have knowledge and big fund, mining is the best option but for people with small fund and knowledge trading is more realistic. Mining not easy and need hard work about equipment/ tools and electric supply. Decides your aim, get enough fund to start and always learn about technology and strategy. There's future and you can reach it, be sure.
511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best style of trading? example - overview on: July 25, 2018, 04:28:35 AM
Swing trading is one of the best trading styles, a nice formation for the FNJN stock you can find on the daily chart.
FNJN  Good intraday deal. The risk to return ratio is more than 1 to 20. NXPI
The VNE action showed a very fetal intraday accumulation, in which it was possible to gather a huge position with minimal risks. We saw very good orders for the purchase, very strong support in the chart. This shows a good probability for a profitable transaction. These situations are the most valuable since they allow you to take out trading for a good dynamics of profit growth.

I believe style depend character and every person has different, swing is good for you but not for others. As long trader feel comfortable and get income from their method, all strategy is good but how to find the best for is long journey. Most people will try to find strategy that fit for him depend their daily activity and education but some people keep practice with loss and profit until find the best for them. Keep going and try to reach your best skill, style is only color.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many new Token, new project on: July 25, 2018, 03:23:11 AM
I think that there are least 1 token or project or exchange were born everyday!
When I read ANN. Oh. I didn't research all. Maybe we have miss some good project.....Because there are too Project...
I hate this thing on Crypto Grin

Same like me, too many project make me confuse and sometimes I send wrong report to bounty manager. Some people say many project is good because can give positive impact into crypto market, it will grow up and create many opportunity make money. That's why I'll let people choose the best way for them. Just be careful with your decisions and make sure your asset is safe.
513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What technical analysis indicators works for crypto day-trading? on: July 25, 2018, 02:25:04 AM

Having dabbled in forex trading for the past years and starting my crypto journey.
I'm wondering what indicators are useful for crypto day-trading. How useful are SMA's or EMA's?
What trading platform has the most complete technical analysis tools?

Every indicator have different purposes and setting, you should understand that before use it. Technical indicator will follow chart ( number ) and always change because supply/ demand not balance anymore and delay ( network problem ). For day trading, I recommended SMA ( 5.3.3 ) and use MACD to read trend. There's no completed analysis tools, keep practice and your experience will become your guide.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoins and ICOs to invest 1000$ into and hodl till next year (I’m new) on: July 24, 2018, 03:39:46 AM
I have 1000$ to invest. I know it’s not a lot. I want to invest 500$ into altcoins and 500$ into ICOs and hodl till early next year, ideally I want to 10x my cash, with ICOs and smart investing I think it’s possible.

I’m brand new to all of this, but I learned hodling bitcoins isn’t smart with my little funds, so I’m looking into altcoins with low btc cost, so hopefully they’ll shoot up a lot.

I want to buy and let sit. What do you guys suggest?

What altcoins do you think would be good for my plan? What ICOs look promising to buy and hodl hoping for big gains lol

Don't invest into ICO project right now, the market is sideways and your money will stuck even until next year. I only suggested bitcoin and Eth for investment strategy, those are survive and become leader from all coins. Before enter the market make sure you know what investment is and the risk. No knowledge meaning loss.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why are you now joining cryptocurrency, where were you in 2009? on: July 24, 2018, 02:50:32 AM
Most of us here never believed cryptocurrency will come this far when btc was launched. We would have rubbished any idea to join cryptocurrency at that time. Now some of us are a bit late but we are still better off than those who will inevitably join some years to come.So we have generational thinkers, kudos to those who started the fight earlier and brought the industry this far.

I don't see cryptocurrency at 2009 and ignore it when start comes up in 2014. At that time I focus on blog and forex, get income and of course make me stay. Start learn crypto 2016 and lost almost 40% from my money but I never give up, keep try to find the best strategy for me. I can't change my past but I'll never let me down in long term period.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the impact of ICOs on the market? on: July 23, 2018, 07:11:22 AM

Every day we see dozens of new ICOs enter the market
Do you think this is useful for the market and to what degree?  Roll Eyes

It will make market grow up and people get more interesting replace their money into ICO project. We have many choice to test our strategy and raise our skill because every person learn with different method. Too much ICO project also bring negative impact into market, such as many scammer comes up and make trader/ investor confused because have too many choice. Take the right ICO project to replace your trust and enjoy the process.
517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Strategies for Beginners... on: July 23, 2018, 06:14:20 AM
When i was entering to the crypto trading field, i am bit nervous and trust me I've lost so many funds. Then I've found a good guidance video[1] regarding trading strategies. So i prctised and strict to a plan and able to earn money by covering my previous losses. That's why i feeled to share the content of that video which will be very helpful for new comers to the crypto field.

Disclaimer: This is just few methods that i used, strongly advised to trade at your own risk and DYOR before trading

---- Crypto Trading Strategies ----

Table of contents

Technical Analysis(TA) - I will create a separate thread for that later
HODL
Cost Averaging
Buy the Dip
Lock in Profits
Increase Your Position
Cut Your Losses
Balancing Portfolio
Lock Your Coins Away

HODL

Most straight forward and easiest strategy is HODL. That means buy some coins and don't touch them, forget about them few years. Hopefully if everything goes right, it will be worth pretty penny once you revisit them after waiting for a long time. In that way you don't have to worry about any crashes, don't have to worry about going to the moon, keep on "HODLing".

Cost Averaging

This is something very important to learn for beginners called "Cost Averaging". So if you feeled, like coin is particularly high right now and you still want to buy,but you don't want to start to dropping lot immediately after you bought. Then this is the best strategy. Basically you buy at consistent intervals like everyday, every week, every month, it doesn't matter. Just pick a interval and split your money across that and put in like 10$ to 100$ every once in a while. That way is more conservative. Because lows are less lows and highs are less high, you are just averaging. This is called "Cost Averaging". Rather than putting up your money at a higher high and then dropping down a lot (then you will thought like i just screwed up), this way it protects you from really big drops and big losses.

Buy the Dip

Basically what this means is if some thing goes pretty high and once it starts dropping, you are buying some. Most important thing is "Be Patient". When it starts to dropping you could possibly buy a little bit and don't get too exited like put your all new money in and buy immediately when it starts to dropping. If you do that, once start drop some more later you have feeled like could have saved some money for buy even better price. So be patient but don't be too patient. Basically be ready if it drops even more and if it doesn't drop, you can save your money for next down trend.

Lock in Profits

This is something we really hard to do. Because it goes against human nature. Basically when coins are going up and up(going to the moon), we all are become really greedy and we all feeled like we all can buy lambo, we all are gonna  become millionaires. But instead the smart thing to do is locking some profit every once a while. Because as they really up, also can drop really fast and if you held it all there way up to all there way down, whats the benefit of the ever having gone up. It's not saying sell all of them once, but may be some small percentage at every designated intervals of a rise.

Increasing Your Position

This is an another important strategy. Basically when it goes up and you sell a bit, when it down and you will re buy it. This is defiantly a nerve racking strategy. Because you don't know it's going to hit on point that you are willing to re buy it. It may never hit there and can just go back up and up again. So how to cope up with that is by not selling everything bu in just part of your stack and in also have a mind if it doesn't go back to a price that you are willing to re buy it,just use the profit still like buying an another coin that you can keep eye on. In that way, it's like a win win situation.

Cut Your Losses

It's also hard to do,because it's against the human nature. Every ones might be heard that phrase like "You not at a loss until you sell it". On the problem is if like fundamentals changed, market savior on a particular coin, you might have big losses and not want to sell it. But it might be smarter to sell it and redirect those funds into another coin which will help to recover your losses faster.

Balancing Your Portfolio

This is something very important but hard to manage, because it takes more time. But definitely a good thing to do. So you can split you'r portfolio in a multiple way. You can have part for long term "hodling" and the other part for day trading. You could have a some part from blue chip coins and other part for really risky ICO. The whole point is having a distribution between your funds. In simply "Don't put your all eggs in one basket".

Finally re balance your portfolio if skewed after some times. Always just follow the strategy that you set forth at the first place. In that way you can re balance and getting the proportions more even what they were before. This is similar to like mutual funds. Say if you are an investor and they splits their funds stocks and bonds depending on how risky you want to be and what goals you should achieve.

Lock Your Coins Away

This is a good strategy. Part of this strategy that calls for not touching your coins for a long time. In that case you might then want to put them in a paper wallet or some other place like hardware to access real quick. Since there lot of people gets bored, "Oh i want to trade daily, Oh i want to buy more coins etc..." and then you will go against your predefined strategy and end up regretting  that later.

[1] - video source>>>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omXPt53KIWc

You have completed material and it will become guide for newbie like me. Until now I don't have any basic knowledge just follow my faith and sometimes have bad result. I want to find my own style and keep trying new method but make me stress in days. I'll learn from you and I hope will help me a lot, thank you so much.

518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters understand cryptocurrency more than investors? on: July 23, 2018, 04:13:00 AM
I think the several experiences in working with different projects has made bounty hunters very experienced. They can determine a good project from the start but some of the investors are just new and do not really determine a promising project from a scam and in the end scammers run away with their money. So bounty hunters who invest in ICOs will never invest if they do not trust the project.

Mostly I agree with you but I'm afraid experience can't guarantee get pay from bounty program, only minimalism risk. That's why keep join several bounty program and make note about any valuable information is important. From there you can learn so much knowledge about how to choose the right one. Never lost faith with bounty program and crypto activity, this is the right way to change your life.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token listing on: July 23, 2018, 03:20:16 AM
What's more better,Firstly token listing in exchanger and than distribution token or distribution token before listing in exchanger?

I believe token listing on exchange is better because we can do the next step, buy and sell without worry about the market. In this situation many investor or trader take speculation before listing on exchange and that will create big dump, many coin become cheaper after listing. Part of the risk we will face it but after listing is the right option, you know the supply and demand in the right number.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins for hold on: July 23, 2018, 02:32:38 AM
What coins do you suggest for long-term holding? Bitcoin and Ethereum excluded.

For now I suggested ATL and Kickcoin, until now they give me profit without do anything, just wait and see my capital grow up. Actually you can choose any coins you want for log term period, as long you know their history and investment knowledge. Most people still choose bitcoin as their main investment because have future and will survive but have alternative income is suggested. Take one and enjoy the journey.
