502  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Wag mag overpay ng transaction fee! on: December 29, 2023, 03:40:20 PM

503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: December 28, 2023, 11:59:20 PM
Over the time, I’ve seen several post, by users here who, claim that gambling is strictly for fun, even when one is making losses and I’ve paused to ask this question “Is there actually any fun in gambling especially when the losses are more than the winnings?”
Let’s be frank, there are several other things one can do for fun aside gambling and I understand that life it’s own is a risk but seeing claims that people see gambling as fun even when making losses is weird and I think it’s worth discussion as to know if truly people gamble strictly for fun without minding if they’re losing or winning

For sure there was no fun in losing in gambling, I mean when I gambling the only fun thing is when you are winning but if you lose it isn't fun at all, and at the same time you could easily be frustrated especially if you are getting a losing streak on gambling that just means you're losing a lot of money. I mean you could gamble and lose that was just fine especially if you're just doing it for entertainment, there are some times that I just want to gamble but I set my limit so like 100$ and that is just what I'm going to spend on gambling win or lose, whatever it takes most of the time I just accept that I'm going to lose it anyway since you mostly just lose on gambling and I'm just doing it for entertainment and fun, it was just like you pay to lose and only paying for entertainment because we know that gambling is fun. In my opinion that is just the way it is, but a lot of people for sure is expecting to always win that is where it takes the fun out of gambling. If you ask me if you start to gamble always expect that you are going to lose.

505  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 28, 2023, 11:15:02 PM
A lot of them seem to be hastily assembled clone sites with very little effort put in and gimmicky marketing. Do you guys have any thoughts on this... plague?

I mean that is most likely what they are going to do, you could probably copy some of the functionality of a casino i mean at the end of the day they are still both casinos so there will be some similarities to other casinos unless they might have the same developers, but still for sure you could easily change your website casino UI and it is going to depend of the casino theme, logo, etc something like that it is just going to depend on the preference of the developer or the owner of the website.

There are so many similar casinos but I guess the important thing is it is a legitimate one, since there are so many copies or clones most of the clones if you're gonna see the similarities are phishing websites or scam casinos probably since they just dont put the effort to actually change the casino to its own theme. I mean personally, I would just depend on the trust of the forum since we have already a lot of gambling websites listed here where you would know gambling website is not trusted here, also I only play on gambling websites that are trusted here in the forum since they have their own thread here in the forum it was really easy to give feedback just in case you see some issues.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Know, But Can i Invest In Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2023, 10:29:17 PM
Hello everybody, how are you?

In this forum i am new and proud to be here as a member of this forum. Heard there is a lot of discussion about Bitcoin so I came to join here for my own needs. Hope you all will help me. I don't have a good idea about cryptocurrencies. I just know that investing in Bitcoin is extremely profitable. But I don't know how to do it. One of my acquaintance suggested me to invest some money in Bitcoin. I told him how many dollars to invest and he said as much as I am willing to invest. I made up my mind that I would invest $500 but i am confused. I don't know much about Bitcoin so the person gave me the link to this website and suggest me to know about the various opinions of users on various topics. Since I see that Bitcoin is always discussed , I want your suggestions about my Bitcoin investment.

Should I invest money with the suggestion of that guy? He told me that if I invest I will get good profit. He said, he will open my bitcoin wallet and help to buy bitcoins. Should I invest in bitcoin?

For sure Bitcoin is a great investment, and when it comes to cryptocurrency Bitcoin is the safest investment that you could do, but if you are just a newbie in crypto investing is going to be your decision if you doesnt have knowledge of Bitcoin dont do it yet, make sure to learn what is Bitcoin first before even starting to invest your 500$ since it's a big amount of investment and you could easily lose that 500$ if you're not careful, for sure investing in cryptocurrency could get you a very high return of your investment but it wasn't a guaranteed investment because cryptocurrency is just one of the riskiest investment if you compared to to something like stock market.

I would suggest for sure to follow the suggestion of the guy since I already invested in Bitcoin in my experience it is one of the best investments that I do if you are patient, only if you already know and have learned about it you the only one you could decide if you already know about it, if you know what you are doing already then start investing.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: December 27, 2023, 11:43:52 PM
I'd like to share my experience with you all. Even though I'm not currently employed, I went through a phase of gambling while I was working in the past, and the outcome wasn't positive. It affected my job performance because, as you may know, when you lose, you tend to dwell on your losses and constantly think about strategies to win. When we talk about work, it usually means we're not particularly wealthy, and imagine what happens when we gamble money we can't afford to lose, especially when we're not earning much.

Let me tell you, the feeling is far from pleasant. It leads to a decline in your work performance, which can have significant consequences since that's your primary source of income. It might be manageable if you're winning, but the harsh reality is often quite the opposite. Even when we do win, we tend to spend most of our winnings, so we don't treat it as business money. This leaves us in a precarious situation when we lose because the money we initially budgeted for our families gets diverted to cover unexpected gambling-related expenses.

I'd like to hear from those of you who have experienced this or are still dealing with it. Please share your testimonies.

What do you mean about gambling at work? In the first place does it mean that your gambling at your work place?

I mean gambling addiction was difficult to handle for sure and you can add the financial things as well, if your gambling a lot for sure it already affecting your mind so winning and losing that could have a big impact in our performance at work, depending on how we are going to handle itit is going to be difficult if we are addicted to gambling already since its affecting our over all life not just our workplace that gonna need a lot more to work.

Its easy actually since your work, family, and your gamble should not be seperate and you just dont let other things get in the way of the other, if something is already off like you thing that your gambling is already affecting your work you just need to adjust it, change your gambling habbit and have a limit on how you gamble so that it is not going to affect your work, its hard to say since it still depend on your situation.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: December 27, 2023, 09:48:28 PM
Yes, Gambling addiction has strained a lot of relationships through financial instabilities emotional turmoil, social isolation, and family problems. Gambling which was meant to be a popular kind of entertainment for many and was designed to provide a temporary escape from everyday life and also help one to be more observant mentally task your brain and it is also good for your mental brain. When it becomes an addiction it causes financial strain the strain can manifest in various ways including the loss of shared savings, debt accumulation, and financial secrecy which may lead to strained communication between partners. This communication breakdown can prevent couples, friends, and associates from working together.

I mean it can for sure affect your relationship with your partner especially if you are a gambling addict and gamble a lot your partner for your are concern about what you are doing and not gonna allowed that if your are not gonna listen to your partner and that is also affecting your financial that could totally leads to fights and worst even break up or divorce on the end. I mean i've know alot of people where they get they live their man since the man doesnt want to stop what his doing always wasting there money gambling on cock fights if your familiar with it. Her wife knows about his gambling addiction and it always lead to fights since most of the time its all about money.

But in some cases this could easily be prevented since in the first place gambling are for entertainment and you could always gamble responsible and moderately, with that you could set limitations and doing it just for fun just to see if your kinda lucky. I mean if you get it there are times that you kinda want to bet on a lotto and thinking that your going to win, then you bet on it, in the end you dont really care if you win just want to do it just for fun.
509  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: are there any bitcoin faucets nowadays !! on: December 27, 2023, 09:21:13 PM
seems the gold days are gone  Roll Eyes

are there still any bitcoin faucet today ??
i have tried many but all have withdrawal limit that you know you can't reach

For sure those faucets in the past years still exist, there still working I believe you can still claim every time just like what you can remember in the past years but the only thing was it wasn't that profitable anymore like in the past years when you could accumulate probably 10$ something like that in a month, or you could grind more faucets and earn a reasonable amount that wasn't realistic anymore at the moment, so I suggest to stop wasting your time on some faucets.

Instead, find something that is actually worth it like learning some kind of skills that you could use to get a job, realistically this is probably the best thing to do if you want to earn a good amount of money with no risk at all since you could easily get paid if you have a skill if you are able to land a good job your gonna earn monthly income without risk. So it's a good thing to invest in yourself and your skills. I mean I could just start investing in cryptocurrency or do trading that is kinda risky but still better than wasting time on faucets.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 27, 2023, 09:02:08 PM
I came across on YouTube where a gambling casino social influencer was streaming about a casinos platform.
He literally brought out his phone and was illustrating to the audiences that it is just few steps to take the winning on your games which is making choice of your predictions, choose amount to bet and also indicate his hashtag referral code and click on confirm.
Immediately you get credited directly to your account that just you won.
I just smiled but I want to ask, how many of you guys develops interests on a particular casino platform due to the influence of the casinos streamers?

For sure these influencers are quite effective when it comes to promoting some kind of gambling website as we can see today there are a lot of influencers promoting gambling websites since there are a lot of gambling websites willing to pay influencers just to get them to promote their website I guess this is very effective to them plus the payment is just fair for them since this was like an affiliate program so the payment was not that great unless they are going to get many users in the website. I mean we can already see even here in my country gamers, influencers, bloggers, etc. most of them are promoting some websites, but I guess there are some limitations now since most of the platforms have strict rules on promoting gambling websites.

But it still doesn't have a big impact when it comes to our lives since they are just promoters of some casino websites, but probably it might if you totally get addicted, but the thing even in my country is there are a lot of scam casino that is being promoted and influencers easily tricked to promote that since they are just being paid after getting the payment they think that they are not responsible on promoting the scam casino since they are just promoters. But in my opinion, its there responsibility to know if it is a legitimate casino since they are promoting it before even accepting payment.
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment is kind on: December 27, 2023, 08:58:18 AM
Probably many people has invested in bitcoin and they got profit and some also got loss for the investment, also some people have converted their business payment with bitcoin instead of making payment with fiat currency but nevertheless you can not decide to follow a steps of someone who benefited with bitcoin and open a shops and demand payment with bitcoin,

So myself I have decided to launch a vehicle parts shops in my city by January 2024 and I have decided to use Bitcoin as one of the criteria of payment because of what I'm seeing for bitcoin increment and my country that permit for cryptocurrency transaction in my country, secondly I want to start having my own bitcoin with the payment of my vehicle parts, I don't know if mempool of bitcoin I have being hearing will still continue by next year 2024 because I sense that it's what will bridge people not to make a payment with bitcoin if i open by January 16th, because all the necessary arrangements has already put in place and  awaiting for January 16th to open officially.

For me as an investment, Bitcoin was actually great when it comes on investing, its probably one of the one investment that could easily gives you profit if you are lucky, and compared to other cryptocurrency Bitcoin was probably the safest cryptocurrency investment that you could do.

But when it comes to using Bitcoin as a mode of payment in a business I do think that it is not yet ready for that since there are so many things that is not right until now, like what you mentioned the fees have a lot of problems, especially today where the fees could skyrocket when the network was congested if your going to use that on your business that could easily be a problem in the future, Also if your going to accept Bitcoin as a payment that is just way too risky since its a business you always need to have liquid cash if something occur, but if they use Bitcoin as a payment you cant really just sell it immediately since that is just going to lose you money, accepting Bitcoin as a payment means all of that payments are going straight as your Bitcoin invement.

513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 26, 2023, 06:28:29 PM
Recently I was around a physical bet shop close to my area and I observed a man who was shabbily dressed walking in the gambling house. I got into the place to observe what his intentions were. He walked straight to the gaming attendant, placed his bets in a highly coordinated manner and quietly walked out of the physical gambling house. From the way he was well organized, you will never know that he was mentally unsound apart from his dirty clothes and unkept hair and beard.

When I inquired from the attendant, she said he was a regular customer and that he usually raised money for gambling through the manual jobs he does around the area. She also told me that he has never misbehaved and acted violently in the gambling house so she was comfortable with him.

My question now is are there any moral, ethical or legal obligation to bar a person from gambling after physically observing that he is mentally unstable?

I mean that was just a normal kind of guy in the casino right? For the most part a lot of people playing a lot in the casino have that kind of mindset and just want to gamble and gamble daily and doesnt really care about where they are going to get the money if they lose it that time. I mean if you are concerned about unstable people for sure they wouldn't be allowed to go outside if they have some kind of unstable mind, you just judge that guy from his appearance but maybe that's just the way he is.

Whatever it is that you are concerned about the casino can handle it, most casinos have a lot of rules so if he did something against that rule he is for sure going to be banned from that establishment or probably gonna go to jail if did get violent on some cases just because he was losing money. But probably people that weren't good at decision-making were the people this casino wanted to play so that they could easily get hooked by gambling.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risk management and responsible gaming on: December 26, 2023, 04:27:31 PM
Governments and several organisations work to encourage responsible gaming. This involves establishing betting restrictions, offering support to those who think they have a gambling problem, and participating in self-exclusion programmes.

I dont think the government has some kind of program like this i mean they are the ones that kinda support gambling in the first place and at the same time this casino is a business where they are also getting profit since these businesses are tax, so probably it wouldn't be a great move for them, Most of the organizations that related to gaming and gambling do that is managed by the government like here in my country are just regulating casino gaming or probably just wasting peoples money since they are a lot of issues in this government organization, recently in my country, there was an issue about spending around 3Mpesos on just a logo. This is really overpriced considering the output plus their website was kinda of trash since it was recently hacked by some hacker guy just to teach them a lesson.

Probably the best thing that they do is to regulate and remove some of the gambling platforms that are not legally operating I guess it kinda helps since they can help us avoid scam websites etc if they actually do it since most of us doesnt really feel or see the things that they do if they are really doing anything or just wasting resources.

518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Gambling Affiliate Program Problem on: December 25, 2023, 11:52:10 PM
Hi Everyone,  Smiley

I have an online gambling related question. I don't know if this is the right place to post such a question, so I'm sorry if I posted in the incorrect forum.

I'm a Gambling Affiliate and something is bothering for some time. In most of the casino affiliate programs that I registered to, I can make a little amount of money or nothing at all. Did anybody encountered a similar problem?

Thanks,
Idan

I mean I think that was just pretty normal in a lot of casinos, most casinos were offering affiliate programs where you could earn a little amount of money for sure, I believed you could earn on affiliate depending on the policy of it since most of the time they needed to at least gamble on the website or do some kind of deposit in order to be counted as a affiliate it wasn't just inviting them and registering then you could easily earn a cent something like that since that can be abused you could easily just created a lot of accounts and count that as an affiliate so most of the time, the affiliate need to gamble in order to get the commission probably a small percentage of that.

If you didn't get any kind of reward you should read the rules to see what you did wrong, I mean there might be some kind of rules that you didn't follow that is why you didn't receive the reward if you sure that all of the rules are followed then you could report it directly to the casino.

An affiliate program is a legitimate strategy and you could actually earn a good amount of money here if you have some kind of group, YouTubers earn a good amount of money in affiliate programs through their subscribers.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between Physical and Online Gambling which makes a person more addicted on: December 25, 2023, 11:26:51 PM
I have been wondering with a little doubt in me between Physical and Online Gambling which makes a person prone to being addicted cause I have this friend of mine who doesn't know how to gamble online but when it comes to physical gambling he does it without compromising any of the consequences before hands.

Now it has made every little discussion that leads to argument an avenue to gamble, always ready to stake huge amount just to prove himself right. I consider this being addiction and I am always advising him to drop this lifestyle.

Do you think Online Gambling has the worst potential of making a person addicted?

In my opinion, both online and physical gambling can make you addicted to gambling whatsoever, it doesnt really matter what kind of form it is it is still gambling so you are still prone to getting addicted to it especially if you are doing it a lot and winning. I mean I dont think that you could easily get addicted it might need to be your habit in order to get addicted sometimes we just want to gamble since its fun and entertaining we want to try our luck.

We saw gambling addicts in physical casinos and even on online gambling your friend just preferred to gamble physically that just it, both of are still can make you an addict, I've seen a lot of people get addicted on online gambling since that is just the way they want to play, probably your friend prefer playing with real people or that just the thing that entertain him, I mean if you are shy and lazy to go to the casino you might just preferred gambling online i mean that is just the same since there are already games online that is live where you could play worldwide.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is you who can't stop betting. on: December 25, 2023, 10:46:49 PM
Happy Christmas to all gamblers. I have been reading some threads and comments that many people have been saying that they find it very difficult to stop gambling (not only gambling addicts), but on one hand, I really think that it is not hard to quit gambling even when you are winning and not winning, but it is you who can't control yourself. Bets can not force one to stake, but a gambler can force themselves to stake a bet, even when he or she does not have money to bet. Some gamblers did not learn how to gamble. They just see themselves doing it, but they can't stop it. Why because they can't control themselves, even when they are not an addicted gambler?
What do we have to say about this?

I mean for sure if you can't stop gambling or you are addicted to gambling the problem for sure if you, that it would probably take a lot more discipline, and commitment whatsoever if you really want to stop gambling if you are a gambling addict. What I mean is we all want to stop gambling if it is already passing our limits and if already affecting our lives, but if you are an addict it is a little different since if you ask if he wants to stop gambling for sure what he is going to say is he want to stop gambling but he just can't, similar to other addicts like smoking, drugs, etc.

Addiction is not just something that you could stop if you think about it and then just decide you doesnt want to gamble anymore, you still gonna end up doing it. What some do is slowly gain control over their addiction, like probably slowly decrease their playtime until they dont want to play at all, do other things that are going to distract them, no points that are triggering them to gamble something like that.

Anyway, gambling is not bad as long as you do it on your limits, etc. so gamble responsibly and moderately.
