I do hope all is well. Any updates if we are getting paid for week 2?
Has anyone been paid?

I'm still waiting to be able to remove my signature.  Smiley
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ELECTRONEUM SPECULATION THREAD on: November 23, 2017, 09:47:17 AM
Quite surprised that Electroneum's is still trading at a decent value. I would have thought everyone would have dumped it by now after all the launch and security issues and failures by the devs. I guess it's only use right now is to give miners a chance to earn some money while ICO investors are being screwed over.

I speculate ETN will be worth much less once they fix their wallet. #MassiveICOdumping

Hi Fundcru, I joined your signature campaign and I read payment will be sent in 2-4 days. But just wondering since it's already been 2 days, any updates as to when payment will be sent? Thank you.
505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Volatility on: November 22, 2017, 12:23:06 PM
Volatility will always be present with crypto currencies. Many people treat it as a risky investment and are always easily swayed by news and rumor.
Don't worry about volatility. Use it to your advantage and trade. Buy the rumor and sell the news.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum All Time High on: November 22, 2017, 06:47:11 AM
I'm extremely bullish on Ethereum.

It is revolutionary technology and it is run by a competent team of not just developers, but an entire community who is already starting to adopt Ethereum's technology. These ERC20 tokens that are being used are just the start. We should see real traction once the dapps are built
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen in Dec ? on: November 22, 2017, 02:40:37 AM
Nice portfolio but I think you dungoofed with Bitcoin Cash. So much politics and controversy surrounding this coin project that it is so prone to pump and dumps. If you expect to cash out in December, you may be caught in the middle of a dump.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: November 21, 2017, 05:46:32 AM
How well does Vega mix with RX5xx GPUs?
Thinking of switching some of the weaker cards for my new Vega's while I wait for the new mobo. How well do they actually play together? I'm using the blockchain driver already...

I run one Vega 56 with 3 570s and 2 580s, no problem.

Thanks but what driver are you using?

Does anyone have experience running VEGA 56s with RX 470/480 series cards? Please correct me if i'm wrong but from what i've read the series makes a difference too.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: To windows update or not? on: November 21, 2017, 03:04:04 AM
Running and updating to the new windows 10 build 1709 will allow you to run an unlimited amount of GPUs from the same manufacturer.
Updated version has been working fine on my rig almost a month now so yeah. Shouldn't hurt.
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet: The Idea that Bitcoin has Value “Is Just a Joke” on: November 21, 2017, 01:11:45 AM
With all respect to the man, Warren Buffet is a traditional banker. If he fails to embrace innovations like Bitcoin, his time is done. Obviously he already missed out on the opportunity to get 800% gains on bitcoin this year. Whether or not it is a joke or not it was an opportunity to make a lucrative amount of money and he missed it. Why? Because he is an arrogant old man whose success has gotten to his head.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SIA partnership with render token on: November 20, 2017, 07:05:33 AM
One of their main (and arguably their largest) competitors STORJ is valued 15800% (7919 sats) more than SIA (53 sats).
There is something seriously wrong with that. Sia was the first and has a solid team so I wonder what went wrong.

I blame the obelisk ASIC for SIA.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who's Mining Electroneum? on: November 20, 2017, 04:07:06 AM
I've dedicated half of my mining rig to electroneum since it launched a few weeks ago. Profit margins have been slowly declining but I do hope it goes back to it's 1000 satoshi range once they finally fix the security problem with the wallets.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH switch to PoS will kill GPU mining but everybody seems pretty relaxed on: November 20, 2017, 12:35:03 AM
The arguments the OP posted are nothing new. Granted, we all know that it will be difficult times IF and when ETH switches to POS, however, what the OP fails to account for is that this is crypto. There is room for massive growth and like the earliest adopters who mined tons of bitcoin daily, we now have an opportunity to become a new wave of early adopters with GPU mining. If this goes global we will be seeing a larger shortage of GPUs and much more profitability. My GPU mining rig is about betting on the future of crypto.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN][PoSToken]First PoS Smart Contract Token[Final Free Distribution] on: November 19, 2017, 08:16:49 AM
Looking forward to the coinexchange problem getting sorted out. Do the devs also plan on listing with exchanges other than coinexchange?
This project has great potential and the devs have really been professional with the way they have conducted everything so far.
515  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental Analysis vs Technical Analysis on Altcoin Trading on: November 19, 2017, 05:35:53 AM
When it comes to cryptocurrencies, technical analysis is worth nothing. If you'll notice there are very huge and unpredictable swings in the market. Cryptocurrencies are naturally volatile and you are better of sticking with fundamental analysis and seeing how good the project really is.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH or LTC long term? on: November 18, 2017, 08:53:31 AM
Brand new to the cryptocurrency market.  Currently I hold a decent amount of LTC.  It's value has gone up nicely since I purchased it.  I've read all the predictions for LTC in 2018 and 2019.  It sounds promising as a long term hold...which is what I'm more comfortable doing...to reach $200 -$300 a coin.   I like the fact that there is a team in place trying hard to ensure it's future.  Charlie Lee may not be the most charismatic spokesman publicly but he's out there doing it which gives me confidence in his product.  Now, it's obvious that ETH is not going anywhere.  My question for the board is which outperforms the other in the next 5 years?  I tend to invest heavily in the direction that has the bigger upside.  Perhaps I should split my investing 50/50 regarding ETH and LTC?  What say the more experienced cryptocurrency gurus?

I have nothing against BTC.  I don't see it going anywhere.  It is the giant.  However, I feel the current price point is too high for my liking.

Thanks

I don't see it going anywhere? From $0 to $8000 and BTC is still going nowhere are you sure? And you think LTC who just copied BTC's technology is going somewhere?
I suggest you think things through. ETH has great potential because it offers something new. Smart contracts are something BTC or LTC do not have.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2X back on??? on: November 18, 2017, 12:17:03 AM
Is there a final consensus as to if a new segwit2x fork is or has been activated? All these emails from coinbase's director of communications is really confusing. I doubt that communication from sucha huge and well-known company was just taken lightly or was based on some fake news article. There must be something behind those emails.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Lightning Network Now Supports Transactions Across Blockchains on: November 17, 2017, 07:44:40 AM
That could be one of the reasons but I dont see any reason to make a big deal out of it. 62 to 65 dollar spike? Sorry but I don't see much value going into Litecoin right now. Too much action and price movement going on between BTC and BCH to really notice LTC.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Buying mining GPUs during black friday / cyber monday? on: November 17, 2017, 06:38:42 AM
Thanks for the responses guys. Sort of seems the promotions i'm seeing are all for LED tvs. Lol.

Was kinda hoping that the news articles about people getting trampled over because of black friday shopping are really about something worth it. Apparently its just mindless people getting tricked into buying because of FOMO.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Buying mining GPUs during black friday / cyber monday? on: November 17, 2017, 03:42:34 AM
I'm new to the mining and online shopping world and was just wondering if buying GPUs for your mining rig on the "cyber monday" or "black friday" holidays are good ways to get a discount? Are the discounts really significant (esp for GPUs) or are these holidays just gimmicks?
