501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over any other assets and dips don't panic me.... on: December 15, 2021, 12:56:40 PM
Compared with other altcoins, Bitcoin has more complete technical support and is a safer investment currency. And bitcoin has brought huge benefits to many holders, and in the long run, the increase in people's demand for it will also cause the price of Bitcoin to continue to rise.
But altcoins also has safer investment like those who are listed in top 10 currencies.

Bitcoin is the safest of course because of the Huge support and high demand but remember that altcoins also promise more support and benefits.

remember also that in Congestion we use altcoins instead of Bitcoin because of the High fees from the miners that cost us  a lot and make us turn at altcoins for a while.
In cryptocurrency, bitcoin investment is indeed the safest, and it is not surprising that bitcoin is the main choice for investing, the rest of the altcoins can provide greater profits, but the risk is greater. therefore the top 10 altcoin positions can be an option to invest safely, and it seems that other investors think so too
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 90% is already there, only 10% is left on: December 15, 2021, 12:51:49 PM
with the number of bitcoins lost and 90% of bitcoins already mined, and reduced again by investors who hold bitcoins, there are also fewer bitcoins circulating in the market. so with the scarcity of bitcoin and the increasing interest of new investors to buy, this makes bitcoin even more valuable. especially if more and more countries are legalizing it
503  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TECHNICAL ANALYSIS on: December 14, 2021, 01:21:19 PM
no doubt that technical analysis is essential in this cryptocurrency market, but also due to the great manipulation that exists in this cryptocurrency market, not all altcoins will be able to make a profit by doing technical analysis, this pump and dump scheme and any news influencing the market immediately makes technical analysis inefficient in this market
technical analysis is perfect for short term trading on major coins, at least that's what I'm doing right now. this will be difficult to do for new projects which are easier to manipulate and it is true that the news will psychologically make investors to carry out activities simultaneously, so it is very easy for pumps and dumps to occur.
504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you like to trading with meme coins?? on: December 14, 2021, 01:12:20 PM
I don't like trading on coin memes at all, trading on major pairs will be safer. trading category means we are only looking for a small but sustainable profit. I will not risk big risks to get small profits, because meme coins seem easy to control unlike major coins in cryptocurrencies, because my characteristic is short-term trading
505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the market going to dump like that 2018? on: December 14, 2021, 01:08:53 PM
the market today is certainly different from the market in 2018. In the past we saw market crashes so many people were frustrated by it. in the past many people were afraid to buy until finally bitcoin dropped from around $ 20k to $3500, but nowadays many investors view that every drop is an opportunity to invest, so the decline is not as severe as it used to be.
506  Economy / Economics / Re: Transforming skill to profit. on: December 13, 2021, 12:04:19 PM
Skills are something that you can do. It is your ability to do a job or task in order to earn. It will be your driving force towards your success in life. Along with continuous learning and acquiring knowledge, you can continue to develop your skills and abilities towards your goal in life. Like in crypto, if you have trading skills, it will be easy for you to earn money through trading. And for continues learning, your ability and skills in tradingwill also increase.
Thanks for defining skill for me, I was worried that I don't exactly know the meaning behind it and that it's significance to the topic, but for real though, why would you post that in a thread that obviously doesn't ask what the definition of skill is but I digress, I think that not all skill should be profitable, some just needs to be fun and helpful to you to a certain, of course profit is helpful but there's more to human than just making money, I don't have any good skill developed yet that I can make money off but a little patience and I will someday be able to reap the profits of hardwork in focusing in learning those skills.
your statement as I experience now, I do not have sufficient skills, especially in the world of trading, but I am enthusiastic to learn and continue to learn, although until now I have not been able to make satisfactory money, but it is patience that makes me believe that in the future I will get results from this learning process, because I think knowledge investment is also important
507  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe good time to loan money to invest in crypto on: December 13, 2021, 11:59:43 AM
it will be very risky for those who borrow money to invest in cryptocurrencies, they seem to impose their will and want to get a lot of money by investing in large amounts. the question is whether you have taken into account the risk, and whether you already have sufficient knowledge in the world of cryptocurrencies, don't end up declaring cryptocurrency a fraud
508  Economy / Economics / Re: No where is actually safe on: December 13, 2021, 11:55:06 AM
Experience is the most reliable teacher Cheesy
I was like you at first and it was very difficult to buy and even sell my coins when there was a correction like now.
but as time went on I realized more and more and learned that this kind of thing is a mistake and started trying to be the opposite of it all and it actually worked.
Now I feel that hodl is the best and one other thing is to buy more assets when we have more unused money
People always panic about changing market trends when FUD happens. If you managed to survive without selling anything during FUD then you have successfully passed the challenge. Because panic will be very difficult to control for those who are very concerned with estimating their assets in a fiat manner.

Bitcoin promises decent returns in the long term, quite a lot of people have earned it and their experience has to be the best lesson for us right now. It's not about getting rich overnight, but we need the process and sacrifices to achieve the goals we dream of.
logically they would be like that because indeed they still see and refer to fiat as you said but indeed if things like this continue to happen without any change in our attitude of course we will only be at a loss.
with the experience in the past and the many advantages with a discount now they should be able to see all the advantages that are in this bitcoin.

it's true this is about the process and we can't expect wealth to come only with an instant process
Wealth gained in an instant is the same as luck, because in truth the business is built slowly and we enjoy the process. while luck certainly will not be obtained continuously, therefore many traders get rich suddenly and fall in an instant too. The advantages that exist in bitcoin will continue to grow and the changing times will answer the next government steps
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: December 11, 2021, 12:56:30 PM
if we hold on to it, when we will enjoy it, of course we must have a target time. For example, investing in bitcoin for our children's college fees later, so we hold on until that time comes. otherwise we can enjoy it every time we form a new ath and buy back when there is a correction, so we can often enjoy it, even fortunately we can diversify into other assets
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin City on: December 11, 2021, 12:51:05 PM
that the great news, i think if the el salvador will become the first bitcoin city, and maybe in the future there are many bitcoin city. and i think if this happen, we can use bitcoin and another crpyocurrencies as our regular currencies in that city.
welcome to the future

After the shocking news that El Salvador legalized Bitcoin as a legal tender, now they are making another breakthrough. By building
the first Bitcoin city, this is very positive news and I believe that soon there will be another Bitcoin city. I am more and more amazed
by the government of El Salvador, they are really very brave to take decisions that are less popular, which other countries restrict the use of
Bitcoin more. El Salvador became a haven for Bitcoin supporters, I really hope that many countries will follow in El Salvador's footsteps,
so Bitcoin can grow even faster and can help the economy of many people.

Very interesting concept to be sure. Although I have some doubts about whether they can pull it off. El Salvador has many problems with government, crime, poverty, etc. However these types of futuristic cities have been proposed as one way to bootstrap development in poorer countries. It could work, or it could turn out to be a walled haven for the rich that doesn't benefit the surrounding country, or it could simply fall apart due to poor governance and corruption. Our fingers are crossed.
I actually see elsalvador is not a special country because it legalizes bitcoin. indeed the background of the government is not good so it requires him to use bitcoin. although at least we give a positive appreciation for legalizing bitcoin. if the country that legalized it was a developed country it might have a different story and impact
511  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin market has been dumping so much for months on: December 11, 2021, 12:46:10 PM
OP is one greedy SOAB, bitcoin has gone down to 30k this past months so I don't see how you're being pathetically angry that bitcoin is on the red, as if the green days should go forever. Did you bought at the peak that you're being mad about the market dumping?
a reasonable market reaction, don't we already know that bitcoin has high volatility, why do we complain even though the decline is still within reasonable limits. if we buy at the top, then we can buy it back when there is a decline. does the OP buy with all his capital in one price, so that the ambition is that the price will continue to rise
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: price of CAKE $50 realistic? on: December 09, 2021, 02:38:05 AM
cake I think to be the altcoin of choice to invest safely. we see that the products are widely used and run well, especially in this era of BEP 20, so as long as we can be patient, we can get $50. maybe not this year, as long as we don't give up hope for it
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: December 09, 2021, 02:30:15 AM
A coin which will be able to increase 100x to 1000x! it may sound wired in 2021 but already we have seen lots of such coins from 2017 to 2021, in crypto industry especially meme coins like doge, shiba inu, floki inu and so many tokens but the problem is, Its hard to speculation the future of such coin! GOMA Finance, FEG Token, Floki Inu & NTFs related project might have such potential according to me but can't guarantee. you can Gather all suggested altcoins and then create personal list to purchase
doge and shiba are currently experiencing a significant increase, and are currently sinking again, and don't know if they will be able to rise again soon. on the other hand goma seems to be cheap to buy, if we want to test our luck maybe this coin can be an option, but I personally don't invest in large amounts
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think coin is the right choice? on: December 09, 2021, 02:25:39 AM
for the most part I chose bnb and eth, both I think are beyond doubt, and there's no reason not to invest in them. other than that I chose matic, which seems like the polygon network is growing, so in the long run I think it's safer, many coins pump up to thousands of percent, but I prefer the level of security in investing
515  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before getting into trading on: December 08, 2021, 02:34:19 PM
taking trading courses will really help us to get to know from the beginning about the world of trading, that way we will be more in order in learning trading, so that we have the right knowledge. Of course what we are waiting for is the trading strategy from our course, but as ourselves, of course over time our trading style will form by itself.
516  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: shorting coin on: December 08, 2021, 02:27:04 PM
To get into a short position, you will need to borrow cryptocurrencies and sell them on an exchange at the current price. Then you will need to buy the cryptocurrency at a later date and repay the capital you have borrowed.Margin trading is no longer available on Coinbase but you can start short selling without leverage using futures contracts. So once you have signed up for an account, identify a downward trend on one of the dozens of coins available and then take your position.

That's no easy in reality of how we're going to trade coins in a short term strategy, because when downward trend occurs it hard to decide if you don't have exact buying power. My advice to newbies and ongoing traders, doing cost averaging would be effective in order to maintain your strong foundation once there's a pump or possible dump. If you got the basic skills, I think losing can be minimized.
the shorter the trade we do, the higher the level of difficulty, so we must have good skills to be able to make profits consistently. discipline must be enforced, because of course seeing short-term trends with large fluctuations, and this kind of thing is not easy.
517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to back test indicator on: December 08, 2021, 02:15:52 PM
I am currently stuck in a long trade with BTC and may not be out of it for a month or more. So looking at other strategies and indicators.
I have downloaded scripts on TV which indicate buy sell trades. I have done some basic manual back testing but want to automate it and check different stop/losses and see which is best

However I dont know how to do this. The script is just an indicator and cant be back tested
What I want to do is create a budget how much to spend per trade open position when signal and close based on a s/l
I have checked out videos on pine script but cant figure out an easy way to add this to my script. Is there one or all tools I can use or anyway to do this.

Thanks
I think the script is a tool to determine our position, and of course you want to be able to quickly set targets and stop losses on each trade. and you use indicators to analyze market movements. what you need to know is that every signal given by the indicator is not all valid, so it really does require a stop loss and a target, and with a script we can open many transactions in one click
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good metaverse tokens. on: December 07, 2021, 03:10:42 PM
vulcan forged is a potential token considering its rapid development and yesterday it broke at the price of $40, this is taking place gradually and not a pump and dump action, and now even though the market is experiencing a massive decline, the pyr has also decreased by 25%, I think this is which is reasonable in conditions like this, and of course this token is good for the long term
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Altcoin for December ? on: December 07, 2021, 01:49:15 PM
Many altcoins that we will be able to target in December, such as Matic, tko, Qtum at the end of this three coins move with certainty, every increase that occurs is very convincing to go up in December,ADA also coins that are being hunted by traders for year-end investments I'm sure this coin also has a great chance to rise further.
I also chose matic to invest, until now there has been no significant development, although the product has started to be used by many people, therefore I will invest early and wait for the pump to come or keep holding it for a long period of time, because I believe matic is a nice coin
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will competitors defeat ETH due to ever-increasing gas fees? on: December 07, 2021, 01:38:37 PM
Developers are rolling network upgrades, yet gas fees on ETH remain the same. It's very expensive to perform transactions on the Ethereum blockchain compared to other competing chains. The ETH 2.0 upgrade will alleviate the situation but developers keep delaying the same. People are getting sick and tired of ETH's "stalling" as fees continue to rise like there's no tomorrow. If I'm not mistaken, developers will delay the difficulty bomb again (by December) in order to prolong the PoW blockchain. The longer it takes for fees to decline on ETH, the bigger its competitors will grow.

Do you think competitors will defeat ETH due to ever-increasing gas fees? If not, why? Are constant delays a result of miners' opposition against reducing gas fees on the blockchain? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

I think it's not that easy to beat ethereum in its development, many blockchains are competing with ethereum but it becomes nil because Erc20 is not their competitor. In my opinion, the high transaction fees on the current erc20 platform do not corner Ethereum in the market.
the gas fee on ethereum does feel big for small transactions, but for large transactions, it can't be said to be expensive. in fact ethereum still has high trust even though the gas fee is more expensive. From this I think people will trust their trusted products more, so I think it will be safer to follow the major currents in the market
