503  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 14, 2013, 06:51:37 PM
Dear Friedcat, board members, dear shareholders.

I don’t speak a lot, but as a shareholder I need to speak out now.

Here are my concerns.

1.)   Un-transparency in company mining hashrate
2.)   Un-transparency in company hardware salles and other income/expenses
3.)   Lack of updates from board or Friedcat himself

---

Regarding the first concern, i proposed the following question in the first round of questions

“Could we have an official live hashrate meter from ASICMINER?”

We received 2 answers for now:

Yes. Our internal management system is towards its completing. Directing the data to a public webpage is easy.

The same question made into the second round of questions as well, so second answer was :

We have an internal one, mainly for troubleshooting when some of the racks going down. The hashrate meter based on the blocks mined reflects more of the real speed (plus luck of course). We will buy more bandwidth before making it accessible by the whole internet. It also requires more commitment in maintenance.

Now is middle of September and we still don’t have hashratemeter. We are still guessing the hashrate from mined blocks, we are still questioning, believing, hoping, speculating …

For second concern regards un-transparency in company sales I proposed the following question

“For more transparency, is it possible to share a wallet address for depositing income from ASICMINER hardware sales?”

This question made into the second round of shareholders questions.

answer
We use a different deposit address for each payment transaction. But a centralized nexus address is good. Then people could see how the funds are separated as dividends and expenses.

From bitcoin-flow in AM addresses as a shareholder I still don’t have a clue how many blades/usbs company sold in week/month. Also what about direct sales in China? Franchising? Expenses? 2nd gen development? Moving?

Its really hard to write few words after each dividend? “The sales was … and the news are” If CEO doesn’t have a time for this anymore than somebody from staff could handle the public relations.

Third concern, lack of updates.

I remember days when Friedcat delivers updates like clockwork. This is not true anymore. And humble shareholders are kept in speculating darkness. What happened with transparency?

In this unstable times we need updates more than ever.

In my everyday life I see that money changes people, but I believe this is not an issue here and we shareholders are still important for company.

Kind regards,

Monarch

Everytime I click on the 'My Value Analysis' tab on btct.co, it makes me need a margaritaaa.

>"ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It" very relevant.
505  Economy / Securities / Re: [Primecoin XPM Coin Mining] XPM Computing Mining Subscriber Shares on: August 21, 2013, 12:47:45 PM
8-16 XPM per day was on your web page. A couple of days ago, I asked whether it was based on 200 severs and when could all servers be deployed. You answered yes and all servers would be deployed in 48 hours.

You've done something, adding your own servers, to compensate the delay. But it will not be enough to keep the confidence of the investors if the dividend turns out to be far below 8XPM per day. Wish you good luck and that does not happen.

This.
506  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] [XBOND] Bitcoin's Only Exchangeable Bond on: August 21, 2013, 02:34:56 AM
Where would we go to find out about the pre-IPO exchange opportunities? Will they be posted in this thread, or do I have to pay extra close attention to the securities forum?

I bought up 250,000 shares and I'm pretty excited!

You can tweak your Havelock notification emails to alert you when news and such is updated on the actual contract. I can't see TAT not putting news there if/when there is any.

people aren't reading, or thinking. Or they know something that I don't (highly possible).

I too am surprised at these prices.

I sold all my shares by now and am happy with the return. I initially bought as something to just hold and not 'trade' to see what came of this unique 'bond'. The rise made it to tempting to not dump though. I am going to miss the daily divs until the next batch comes aboard. Fair warning I will be gobbling them up to rinse/repeat.

XBOND has turned out to be pretty sweet and I have a feeling TAT has more in store for investors.

If posts like this do absolutely nothing to price anymore then what will?
Just a month ago this could've made the stock go up 30% or more within hours. Now, nothing. Looks like those days are over. Not just for basic mining but for pretty much all the others as well.
I bought way too high and i'm looking to get out but without a massive loss.
I'm waiting for the price to go up again but i'm really wondering what they possibly can do for the price rise a lot again...
Buy 10 new miners? 20? This obviously won't happen...so anything else i don't know about?

This is my current position as well. I was contemplating posting the same question as well, but was afraid of the backlash.

I too, would like to ask what are some realistic things (besides difficulty drop off, bitcoin price explosion, miners fee quadrupling, aliens ect) that could raise the price in the near (days/weeks/months) future?

there is little depth on the bid side, a 5k BTC dump would send us back to 104.

just someone wants coin really bad hitting up all the ask.

but why?

What is the best way to get an hp build working on OS X?

Having toyed with it for hours, I can conclusively say that installing VMWare Fusion with an image of Ubuntu and compiling / running it on there yields the best results. I don't know why, it just does. Natively, compiled in Mountain Lion, I get about half the performance from the same build compiled in the VM.

I hope helps you out.

Thank you.

This should help: http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/mtgoxUSD#rg30zigDailyztgSzm1g10zm2g25zxzi1gStochRSIzi2gRSIzi3gMACDzv

basically he's saying we are currently in a bullish market and a good prediction at least for the next few days is that prices will continue to rise.

all the bear talk. tststs.

what has this thread come to?

yup.
It's because of your $180 prediction that instilled hope of course. Cheesy

The $180 prediction will come true... whether in 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months.

For ~ 75 million people that prediction is irelevant

Which 75 million people? I don't think it's irrelevant to anyone. Bitcoin is an amazing invention... the bears are losing site of that, and people who haven't heard of bitcoins will be affected by their existence whether they realize it or not.

the usual 75mils that go to heaven each 12 months Smiley

I purchased 2 seats through the website. It is showing up in the address blockchain with >6 confirmations but my account still says they are unpaid and not credited to me. Not really sure who I can provide details to that can or will check on it for me?
I would assume it is just a timing issue, like the votes.
