is there anyway to tweak the voltages with this?
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / keep wallet on usb? on: May 21, 2011, 10:00:53 PM
Im pretty sure i read this but i wanted to make sure its possible. I want to know if you can keep your wallet on your USB drive. Once my wallet hits 100Bitcoins in my wallet i was going to move it on a spare USB drive and start a new wallet.
503  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTC Guild - 0% Fee Mining Pool (Long polling, JSON API) [~100 gH/sec] on: May 21, 2011, 02:53:12 PM
i still get stale shares a lot.
504  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTCMine - mining pool (zero fee, long polling, SSL, JSON API) on: May 21, 2011, 02:12:04 PM
i was reading the FAQS it says
Quote
IMPORTANT NOTE: Using separate miner logins and passwords for each miner instance you are running is absolutely necessary for proper long-polling support
does that mean you need a new miner for each mining rig or for each GPU?
505  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: A Bitcoin Mining Company - SkepsiDyne Integrated Node on: May 21, 2011, 01:55:44 PM
what rigs did you buy?
506  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BTC Guild - 0% Fee Mining Pool (Long polling, JSON API) [~100 gH/sec] on: May 21, 2011, 01:49:26 PM

507  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: LinuxCoin A lightweight Debian based OS with everything ready to go. on: May 21, 2011, 01:11:15 PM
I'm trying to append to the init sequence to automatically run the miner after the boot is complete.

Do any of you Linux people know in what file I would put a command like that?  I imagine that the command would fail if it ran before X was completely up.

If you google lxde autostart there are hundreds of guides Wink

is there anyway i get flash the bios of my cards with linuxcoin? Or someway to pass the 775 clock limit on my cards? Iv seen lots of guides for win7. i tried google to but i cant seem to find anything.

This may be in the pipeline Wink Not via linux but using a small dos install. Currently I'm unaware of anyway to flash your cards without windows/dos

Glad most seem to be getting along well with linuxcoin !! Cheesy

awesome! the OS is great i got all 3 miners working but poclbm turned out to be the best so far by 20-40Mhash/s

The counter for m/hash on your website seems to be off a bit for my workers. worker1 on my PC is at anywhere from 520-590 m/hash, but on the site it shows that its between 200-590 m/hash, and consistently says its at 350 m/hash or below.
511  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Max OC speeds on: May 20, 2011, 05:09:02 PM
none of these really help my OP. Also if anyone knows what Power Connectors does it require it seems like there is a typo on the site. i think its suppose to say 2x 6pin connectors can anyone confirm that?
512  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: LinuxCoin A lightweight Debian based OS with everything ready to go. on: May 20, 2011, 02:08:55 PM
i got everything running on 3 rigs its great. I have a few questions is there anyway to flash the bios on the cards my xfx radeon 5850s wont clock past 775 and id like to hit 800-850~?

i saw on page 2 someone posted a script to see the GPU temps with bash this is the code. How do i run or execute it?
Code:
while true; do
        aticonfig --adapter=0 --od-gettemperature | tail -n1 | awk '{print "Current temp: " $5}' ;
        aticonfig --adapter=0 --od-gettemperature | tail -n1 | awk '{print "Current temp: " $5}' ;
        echo $(aticonfig --odgc --adapter=0| grep GPU);
        echo $(aticonfig --odgc --adapter=1| grep GPU);
# Next lines are to check your balance if solo mining
#        BALANCE=$(bitcoind getbalance)
#        echo -ne "Bitcoin Balance: ${BALANCE}\r";
        sleep 35;
        clear
done

thanks for the great OS its really helpful.
