Yes, it was a easy target for the strong batting line up of India but they failed to chase the target. Dhoni's strategy was to hold the wicket and they did not tried for big shots and played very slow for few overs. They even failed to take singles and rotate the strike which helped to build the pressure on Indian batsman, they failed to handle this pressure and they keep loosing the wickets.

There were many changes in the South African and Indian batting line up. David Miller was the opener along with Quinton De Cock instead of their regular opener Hashim Amla which was the interesting change, they produced good start to South Africa. It was little disappointing batting performance by South Africa, at one point they were in very good position. South Africa was on 200 runs from 40 overs and after that only managed to score 70 runs from last 10 overs.
