501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: October 28, 2022, 07:21:30 AM
I normally do this with dice games and if it played correctly its profitable.

Can you explain how can we even play it correctly?

We can't influence the winning chance there. That technique you are saying is the easy way to lose money.

Once you win, you will recover all the amount you lost.

The question is, can your bankroll still afford to bet after losing 10x consecutively? Calculate how much you need to bet on that losing streak.

I can't imagined how it easy for you to say that without considering the factors why a continuous losing streak is always possible to happen in dice.

that is up to you! You will need to decide wether you have enough bankroll to apply this technique. basically, if you keep doubling, when you win, you will recover from  the losses. of course that there is always luck involved but this is a strategy that needs to be planned, as there will always be the losing streaks which can make you lose all your bankroll. In this case, my advice is to do the math a check what is the minimum bet you will have touse for he technique to work. You should be prepared to lose at least 7 times in a row, so that's up to you to decide what will be the suited bet to keep up with this strategy and still earn money.

503  Economy / Gambling / Re: World Cup 2022: Betting on Futuur Just Got More Exciting! on: October 27, 2022, 06:37:07 PM
World Cup Qatar 2022 is almost here!  Futuur will offer markets on every game through the final, and lots more. Get in on the action & make your bet on the future of football! ⚽ #worldcup

The world Cup Qatar 2022 is actually in 2023 due to the Covid pandemic. I guess they could have come up with a new country to host the world cup as this will be the third time the country hosts a world cup. I guess that there are many other countries that are eager to be the hosts of a Football World cup and FIFA should allow them that chance.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: October 27, 2022, 12:58:41 PM
First of all let's keep in mind that in gambling there are not real techniques like in games of luck which we play for example, dice, roulette and slots. There is no real strategy or technique that can increase our chances dramatically.

Having said that I am a slot player and will leave my "technique" here which is choose a game provider that gives more often than other providers the bonus round and also has an hit frequency of 35% or up,this way you will play longer and have more chances to win.In certain casinos this can also be useful for upgrading to the next level and unlock rewards faster.

Well, od course that even if you have a proven strategy it is still gambling, and you should be aware that you can lose all your money. However, if you go gambling it is always better to use a proven strategy than to play simply by relying on cheer luck!
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prime Minister of UK - A crypto believer on: October 27, 2022, 07:23:49 AM
Rishi Sunak is the next prime minister of UK. He is from an Indian origin and is the youngest prime minister of UK since 19th century.
Keeping all that aside the interesting fact is that he is a firm crypto believer. I got to know this when I was scrolling insta today.
It seems that crypto regulations have also been approved right after he became the PM of UK.
This shows how positive he is about cryptocurrencies and he might lead the way for a wide adoption of cryptocurrencies.

Rishi Sunak is Pro Crypto. Is This the Start of Global and Institutional Bitcoin Adoption?

With his age, I would be astonished if he was not a crypto believer. No, as for the regulation that was aprooved, I can't say that is a good thing as usualy regulation is not done with the best of intentions, rather it is done to protect the interests of the corporations, banks and rich people. If regulation was done with poor people in mind things would actually work, but unfortunately this is not how it rolls.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: October 27, 2022, 07:18:22 AM
I often use the stake doubling technique to several games. I normally do this with dice games and if it played correctly its profitable. What you have to do is simply start with a small stake and every time you lose you double your steak until you win. Once you win, you will recover all the amount you lost. This works if you have enough money to keep doubling your bet, so you should do your math and check with how much you should start. It is not infallible but it works.
If i understand correctly, this is the martingale gambling technique, it is good for those who are very lucky with winning, and like you said, this technique can only work effectively for those who have a large amount of funds available to play with, if a gambler with a very small account balance try this technique, he or she will easily get burned out since there is no guarantee of winning at a certain stage of the game.
So you should probably classify this technique to gamblers with large account balances for it not for those with small or minimal funds in their account.

I am a seasoned gambler if you will you allow me to use that word, i dont gamble frequently so ive never really paid attention or applied any technique to my gambling activities, but i will pay attention to this thread to learn one or two techniques i will try out when next i gamble.

yep, I guess that is it. I couldnt remember the name of this strategy but it is in fact the martingale strategy. The catch of this strategy is exactly that, it is most sutable for players who have already a good balance or that are strating with a larger amount from the beginning. it is kind of reliable but you will need to have a good balance for it to work.

I would like to have you guys speaking about different gambling techniques so that we can exchange knowledge and improve our winning chances.

I'll leave my simple technique here and I'll hope you guys can leave some more!

508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is deflation considered to be an admirable feature of Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2022, 05:26:43 PM
deflation is actually one of the most proeminent feutures cryptos have. It is their main difference and its main advantage against fiat. While fiat is based on inflation (and this could be seen by analysing what happened in the 2008 crisis and what is happening around the world nowadays) cryptos are based on deflation as they have a specific number of coins to be issued like for instace Bitcoin who will never have more than 21 million bitcoin issue while fiat is constantly being issued to counter market conditions which innevitabelly leads to inflation.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: October 26, 2022, 02:03:11 PM
IMO there will be only to ways this may turn out to be... Bitcoin will either be crushed by regulation once CBDCs come into action or it may stay untouched and its value may soar. If the last option comes up to be true then yes, newcomers will still on time for the party.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you win big in casino, would it be publicized? on: October 26, 2022, 01:56:38 PM
I have not paid attention much to people winning on gambling sites. I do not mean people that just win, but people that win big like over $10000 or more. All I have known is that people that won so big are publicized and people know them from there.

That is dangerous, it means no privacy and people that are known to the public can be the victim of robbers and there can be physical attacks from robbers in order to steal from the winner. That is not all, even if there is no physical threat, people like me and some other people on this forum can be afraid, feeling unsafe of attacks.

I do not expect gambling sites to be publicising this kind of news. Will gambling site ask for the permission of the winner for the winning to go public? Or the winner can just be anonymous in a way his name will not be mentioned?

Normally, the gambling sites will not publicize your winnings as this is just something that has to do with privacy. In case they want to publicize, they should ask you for permission or they will turn the winnings public without telling who was the exact winner.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zero KYC tolerance gambling platforms on: October 25, 2022, 02:15:27 PM
Unfortunatelly, all major crypto related sites are trying to comply with regulation and KYC is just a feature that they are demanded to add. The excuse is to prevent against online criminal activities, but when states are the biggest criminals KYC is just one more control feature they want to implement in order to tax the sites and the users. Fortunatelly, there are still a few sites out there that do not request KYC and still use crypto as a freedom tool. You should do your own research and you will find a few that still do not ask for any ID information.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH price keeps decreasing? on: October 25, 2022, 01:55:30 PM
Well, in reality, and since that Ethereum became the most centralized project within the cryptocurrency space, the logic would be for the token to get to a price which would be usable. In order to be used as he main option for smart contracts, Ethereum would have to have a steady and low price who would not greatly impact the cost of transactions. IMO, any smart contract network who wants to survive, needs to set its price range into an affordable price so to not to stifle the development of new project in the network.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum POW - ETHW on: October 24, 2022, 11:52:55 PM
If BTC dumps more in this month I am positive that ETHW will cost 2$ per coin, what pissed me off about this coin is the lack of utility, vitalik walk away with everything, smart contracting and leave only PoW behind, who is going to build on ETHW? Lol this is going to end up a shit coin.

This may be probably true. Either way, the real Ethereum is the Ethereum classic. It is the real network that was never forked and kept all the real records, including the DAO event. Its POW as well and the community behind has no intentions of changing to POS. It also has a lot of projets growing on its ecosystem, so ETC may be the best option to counter ETh

515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Survive A Nuclear War? on: October 24, 2022, 05:47:44 PM
What do you think about it? I read this article in the Market Times https://markettimes.co.uk/cryptocurrencies/would-bitcoin-survive-a-nuclear-war/ and in my opinion I don't see a future 'cause to have access to the bitcoin you need internet

If a world war starts and one of those old farts remembers to use nukes, it will not be only Bitcoin that will be disappearing. It will be the end of the world as we know it. Bitcoin would be the least of your concerns in the that scenario...

https://cointelegraph.com.br/news/brazilian-company-pays-in-addition-to-salary-a-3-bonus-in-bitcoin-every-month-for-its-employees
https://exame.com/negocios/empresa-dos-eua-quer-pagar-bonus-de-funcionarios-em-bitcoins/
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Censorship be the end of the Ethereum Network? on: October 23, 2022, 07:59:50 PM
What are your thoughts on these recent events? And what project do you guys believe could surpass Ethereum?

None. All the big PoS projects that provide a platform for smart contracts are centralized and subject to censorship. Do you think other networks offer something decentralized and free of regulators? Not likely. Ethereum was apparently the last platform to run on RoW. Blockchain is slowly buckling under centralization and regulation. Tokens and coins are trying to fit under securities law so that they can be regulated and fully controlled.

Well, you look like you must have an even darker vision than I do for the future of cryptocurrencies. So, does it mean that you believe we are just watching the beginning of the end for Decentralization and everything that Satoshi's main vision stood for? Do you think we are heading to complete control with no alternatives?
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Will Censorship be the end of the Ethereum Network? on: October 23, 2022, 05:15:30 PM
With the recent issue with Tornado cash and some other users complaining about transactions being censored over the ethereum network we are seeing a wide range of problems coming in. Apart from this behaviour being everything that Satoshi did not advocate for, it goes against all the principles that cryptocurrency stands for. Well, for me Eth died back in 2016 with the DAO event and with the recent events and the POS fork and see it as dead.

Of course that even so, Ethereum is still the leading network but slowly developers are turning to alternative networks, so the future of ethereum may be compromised.

What are your thoughts on these recent events? And what project do you guys believe could surpass Ethereum?
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: The first ever Gambling Metaverse on: October 23, 2022, 04:41:15 PM
I do not know if any of you guys remember, but the whole idea of metaverse is not new. Long before the metaverse hype, Second life had already introduced the concept and kept its leadership in the industry until very recently. Anyways, the concept was adopted by Dragon's tale, which was the first-ever Gambling metaverse Casino in the cryptocurrency space and where many players could get a lot of bitcoins simply by completing missions and treasure hunts.

Is anyone still playing Dragon's Tale today?

I just found out about this now dude, but it looks like these games have been around for a long time, if I'm not mistaken it was 2010 or 1999?

And I think it seems that other communities will not pay much attention to it in these times because our technology is more upgraded nowadays than when the dragon tales game was established. Then it seems boring to play because the graphics are not that good.

Yeah, I have to agree with that. Nevertheless, this was a great project that should have followed the course of time and should have been developed accordingly. It seems to me now that the Devs abandoned the project but they could have gone for a Remastered version and this would most probably go BIG.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is due for a big break on: October 23, 2022, 04:29:22 PM
It's been undervalued and passed over by many pump and dumps over the years. It's a solid alt coin to use alongside Bitcoin.

Accepted more places than any other crypto, Litecoin is one of the few altcoins that I actually use.

It's low fee, fast confirmations and 2nd oldest crypto. Can't go wrong in my opinion.

That is also my opinion. In fact, Litecoin was one of the first coins I mined alongside Bitcoin. I strongly believe we have hit the ground and some accumulation has been going on for some time. LLT needs to break the $63 barrier and when it happens he should take a High way on to at least $83. At least that is my viewpoint on the 3-day LTC\USD chart.
