501  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: (UK) ASICMiner Cube 30Gh/s to 38Gh/s (worldwide) on: November 13, 2013, 11:45:27 PM
Yeah...how about some proof that anything you are saying is true.

And some details

And description of payment methods

And refund policy

And...get the point?

Payment is via Bitcoin

Delivery to myself will be within 3 days of order.

Refund policy will be created

If the group buy is not going to work out I will buy in the 10 units then resell from there but of course at a higher price.

The supplier I have got is fully genuine as used for many years for parts so I have trust in that I will get the units fast.

Hope that helps

504  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: is anyone aware of this ASICMiner BOX on: November 12, 2013, 10:35:10 PM

Yeah, there are loads of china suppliers selling them, some with power supplies that can provide the correct overclock, but for the price I would wait until much cheaper. Same chips just dressed up in a different box plus still supporting the OLD protocol, clearly no improvement has been made.

Sorry, just wondering if you are selling the power supplies as well as seen they need to be certain Amp or will blow the boards

511  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Asic Blade problems on: October 31, 2013, 02:05:52 PM
Did you recently add more blades to your backplane?  I would guess that your PSU is underpowered.

Nope had 10 blades from the outset, Currently they have not reset for 21 hours so looking stable so far

Cheers
512  Bitcoin / Hardware / Asic Blade problems on: October 30, 2013, 10:00:55 PM
Hello,

Having slight problem with my gen2 blades. I have 10 of them in the backplane and they keep resetting every 5 hours or so. I also have 2x Gen 1 and they have never rest once so I know it's not a network problem.

Any ideas ?

I have also had to replace one of the fuses on the board as it seemed to have died maybe they all need replaced ?

Cheers

How much are you looking to sell them for?

They are currently on eBay, Will post a link later as currently not at home
514  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Asic Blade upgrade ? on: October 19, 2013, 10:14:31 PM
Depends on the price of the upgrade, is it diy or you having the upgrade done?  If you're using sidehack's kit at .2, the return on investment just for the upgrade would be within the first few weeks if not days ( base on just 1 blade at current difficuly factoring in an increase of 117% per month), and would continue to earn positive revenue until July.  Plus if you decided to sell them you'd be able to easily get more in return.  So is it worth it? I think so. Problem is if you're using the backplane and the 1000watt psu, you'd have to find a 1500 watt psu.

Break Even Period:    24 days
Max Profit:    $26.6 (Dec-13) - 88.7%

Month       CumulativeReturn
Oct-13       $7  (after the upgrade cost has been paid)
Nov-13        $22
Dec-13        $27
Jan-14       $26

Thanks for the good detail description, it would be using the sidehack upgrade service I also need to send them and get them send back which will also cost a fair bit. The PSU the now is the 1000w and seems to be running at max capacity and I cant seem to find one that fits for 1500w.

Hopefully the rig can go to a good home or be added to a current rig.

Cheers for all the advice
515  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Asic Blade upgrade ? on: October 19, 2013, 04:31:18 PM
Hi,

I currently have 12 blades 2X 1 gen and 10X 2 Gen

Is it worth upgrading the 10 blades to an extra 44 Gh/s ?

Currently they turn out 130Gh/s so upgrade to 176

I was planning on selling them in a few days as a full rig to anyone that would want a full prebuilt rig

Worth the upgrade ?  Huh
516  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: New Version ASICMiner Blade Overclock Kit on: October 14, 2013, 11:13:10 PM
It really doesn't take a lot, thinking something like 0.1BTC for the base kit shipped, 0.15 for the full kit shipped. Sometime soon (it's been a hectic weekend, and will continue to be a hectic week) I'll have an actual build log posted - gotta get a webserver up first though.

For reference, the stock rates at about 10.7GH; with the base kit applied mine was reporting about 14.6 and after adding parts to the VRM output (which greatly dropped line noise) it's been reporting around 15GH (which is actually higher than theoretical expectations, go figure). Running stable for 13 hours now, no X chips and no heating issues.

That would include USPS Priority shipping in the US. Bulk orders would be negotiable, and shipping outside the US researchable.

Looking forward to this, will be a UK Buyer Smiley Have 10 Blades that could do with the upgrade Smiley

How much you willing to pay per BTC ? Cheers
518  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 130Gh/s for sale - UK Based on: October 14, 2013, 04:17:36 PM
So i'm guessing you're expecting offers in the region of 20BTC or higher? (i calculate that your making about 0.32-0.34BTC per day minimim) - whats the power consumption for this rig?

I have a buyer lined up hopefully for the full rig, but seems like I can get more for it if sell it all separate, and yeah 0.34BTC is spot on, 1250W

Cheers
