501  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Solo mining, how do I know its working. on: December 09, 2013, 09:42:13 PM
You'll just waste your electricity if you're solo mining, unless it's a really new altcoin that later on is going to increase in price.

anyone roll near a 10,000 on freebitcoin?

Wouldn't surprise me if they made it harder to get higher numbers though. I have 223 free rolls and haven't received anything higher than the minimum. Then again, I could just be unlucky.

hey jacce, why i cant acces that web?

Either it was just temporary down, or you tried to reach it right when I was uploading new files. Either way, does it work now?
still cant Sad  it said could not locate to remote server.

I honestly don't know. Works for me, even when using a proxy. What browser are you using? And does everything else work?
i use opera mini browser on my mobile phone.

I think it is a problem isolated to Opera Mini, since I haven't been able to reproduce it on my computer (tried Opera, Firefox and Chrome and also with different proxies, it all worked). I am currently downloading Opera for my phone too to test if it works for me there.
EDIT: I can access the website from my iPhone with Opera Mini, although it doesn't show up properly.

506  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie suggestion:Give me link/website to earn bitcoin on: December 09, 2013, 04:13:50 PM
I'd recommend this site. Although it has the same faucets as the link above, it has timers so that you better know when to collect BTC. Also, it has its own faucet and a guide to bitcoins in case you don't fully understand how it works.

hi, anyone know any faucet?

I've listed many faucets here. Also, that site has its own faucet giving up to 50 µBTC/hour and uses Microwallet for secure transactions.

I did the math a while ago, and at least the average prize on Freebitco.in is about 10 times the minimum prize. Anyway, here you can find some faucets that I currently use.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be a virus. Common sense: Don't download things that is supposed to give you money in return of nothing.
515  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Faucet rewards decreased from 0.00000200 btc to 0.00000020 on: December 09, 2013, 09:34:42 AM
It can still be worth it if the price keeps going up. Although, I suggest you check out http://free-btc.net.tf for higher paying faucets.

It is funny. Not many altcoins are that these days.

3 hours from your first post I think it is!

First off, welcome to bitcointalk! When I first joined this site, I found this link that sort of explained every rank/position. I think you'll find it an interesting read! I think Newbie accounts have access to it. Anyway, here's the link:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

It's pretty informative, and helps you get an idea of how long it takes to get to different ranks so as long as you aren't spamming.

Cheers

Thanks for the fast reply buddy Smiley! So if i understand what that link says. I need to make 1 post and browse during 4 hours to become a Jr member? Does this thread count as a post?

I'm about 90% sure that's correct, yes.

519  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin unstable.. what do you recommend? on: December 08, 2013, 11:08:44 PM
Compared to altcoins, Bitcoins is still relatively stable. If you want to gain a lot of money, you have to take risks.
520  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just another noob wishing he jumped in the pool earlier on: December 08, 2013, 11:02:49 PM
Welcome! And while I understand how you feel, probably no one on this forum is going to donate to you. If you want to gain free Bitcoins, check out signature space selling, gambling giveaways and faucets (you can find many free faucets at http://free-btc.net.tf).
