501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is whitepaper important in the project? on: September 06, 2019, 02:45:55 PM
Having a whitepaper is very important, a professional can quickly have an overview of the project and see for red flags like plaglarism, unpractical proposals and other forms of exergaration without whitepapers, one would just be gambling with the project. Although, these days projects tend not to fulfil their whitepapers but that doesn't invalidate the importance of having a whitepaper.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you staking or mining, or both? on: September 06, 2019, 02:39:39 PM
I do Proof-Of-Stalking and major in trading. POS favors the whale more. In the end, if the price of the coin is not performing well, the person with a smaller amount will appear to be wasting their time. Trading still pays more when one looks at how much altcoins have suffered in the market.
503  Other / Off-topic / Re: Danger!! on: September 05, 2019, 04:15:22 AM
In a volatile market like this, we get a lot of expert predictions, but most times in their private lives they don't use the signal they dish out to the public because they don't even know if it will be successful. Sticking to a strategy that works is very important and not following too many masters.
504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoiners in Hong Kong protests? on: September 05, 2019, 04:10:06 AM
I don't like the ideology of trying to raise donations to protester by using bitcoin. This can silently be done without any public notice. I don't want the government to point a finger to bitcoin that it was used against the state.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Congress Urged to Regulate Crypto Sector Under Bank Secrecy Act on: September 05, 2019, 04:05:06 AM
For me, if firms are going to be regulated, then they should work it that such forms don't defraud the people and shut down someday, and not to start making hell-like policies to discourage investors, when a harsh policy is formulated, investors can seek alternatives by going underground, this way, the government stand a chance of losing more form revenue.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: artificial intelligence can be dangerous on: September 02, 2019, 02:39:34 AM
Although AI is needed in our demanding world and part of smart economic growth, but this is as well rendering a lot of humans redundant by taking over their jobs and doing their thinking for them, so man will just have to largely and daily depend on AI power and ability. It's a sad and happy reality we have got to face.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All these guys claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto ! on: September 01, 2019, 08:55:02 PM
Everyone wants to be popular through a false claim, instead of them concentrating their energy to build something real. Well, the various claim further lay a deeper mystery to the identity of Satoshi, no one will ever believe them.
508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accidentally sent BCH instead of BTC on: September 01, 2019, 08:48:15 PM
This is amazing, I thought this would have been lost forever. Exchanges would usually say "when you send the wrong deposit of coin, your fund will be loss and we can't help you" this is because one doesn't own a private key to the exchange. does this mean the exchange will recover it in the future and use it for themselves, without refund to the owner?
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ICO dead? on: August 31, 2019, 08:01:48 AM
ICOs are not dead. The project that came to the market with the sole aim to pump their coin and take profit without any real use cases or life application will gradually fade away and will be abadon by the developers. Some projects are bridging the gap between traditional investment and blockchain technology, while some are just minted to extort the public. It's therefore important what we invest in.
510  Economy / Economics / Re: Trade war Influences on cryptocurrency on: August 31, 2019, 07:55:46 AM
If the trade war gets messy, traders will have to short the USD and save their money by investing in something that is more valuable and that won't be affected by the USA-China trade war. Some fund definitely will flow to bitcoin and this will bring more liquidity to the market. We can't be too sure about this, but people will certainly avoid fiat as much as they can.
511  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY 21 MILLION BITCOIN CANNOT SERVE THE WHOLE WORLD on: August 31, 2019, 07:38:35 AM
Yes, the total supply of bitcoin can serve the world, if it was 5,000,000 TS. The sotashi will keep expanding or going up in price as more and more people start using it like we saw a huge price leap in 2017, that is how it works. soon thousands of dollars will just be able to buy a little fraction of satoshi. Not everyone in the world actually have real money, some just have substance and money keeps exchanging hands.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties keeps getting worse on: August 30, 2019, 10:45:30 AM
We have a lot of dishonest management that make a silly managerial decision which can crash the project and make investors loss total trust for the project. Just look at MiracleTele for example, a single stupid announcement by the CEO turned the project into a scam, despite their damage control strategy, the project is as good as dead. Altcoin stalking may as well be a scam.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Says “Bitcoin under $9,500. If you are panicking, you are a fool” on: August 30, 2019, 10:22:12 AM
John McAfee has always been optimistic of bitcoin price and its ability to bounce back. Only gamblers/speculators will be much more concern at every dip of the bitcoin, the people that have been patiently following bitcoin will never be move regardless of the pricing.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Anyone help me Regarding Bitcoin True Investment? on: August 30, 2019, 10:18:00 AM
I will strongly advise you don't fall for any bitcoin stalking or bitcoin programs that require you to lock your bitcoin or give it to a third party while you get a daily reward, it's a scam. The best true bitcoin investment is: Buy and store bitcoin in a non-custodian wallet, i.e a wallet you own the private key to and when the price appreciates, you can sell to take profit. You should be aware that the price can massively fall below your bought price, you need patience to win. Don't even give your bitcoin to anyone to help you manage as a newbie.
515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC hacked from blockchain wallet on: August 30, 2019, 10:05:40 AM
Sorry about this, some persons usually get hacked on blockchain .info, some users said they had activated SMS option as against a more secured google autenticator, and another had saved his private keys online, which is unsafe and not recommended to do so. Try to have a separate email from bitcoin login, and never use the same password, you may want to get phone for for the sole purpose of sending and receiving bitcoin and never download anything there. Alternatively, get a hardware wallet which is the most secured provided your keep the private keys safe.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creator and Developer Gone on: August 29, 2019, 02:14:19 AM
Not all projects will die with their founders since there is a team of developers and provided the source code is open as stated above by of the commentators. Just, for example, Satoshi has no control over bitcoin and we don't even know where he's currently, but the bitcoin continues to be glorious. This is why it's dangerous to invest in a centralized project.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunting is past it's glory days on: August 29, 2019, 02:06:12 AM
My question is, is it possible to still make a living from bounty or we should just move on from it?

Bounty hunting is not as profitable as it uses to be, majorly because of high failure rate of projects and lack of sincerity in project execution by the developers. However, there are still a few profitable bounties. $SmartFund, Anyone and few others were profitable only that budget was low, which is still better than a scam.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Founder of bitcoin??? on: August 29, 2019, 01:56:10 AM
He will eventually end up like Craig Wright who lays claim to bitcoin that never exist. Expect more and more false claimers to the creation of bitcoin. Everyone wants to be in the news, but there are better ways of doing that other than being an imposter.
519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't governments illegalized bitcoin transactions? on: August 29, 2019, 01:50:50 AM
Yes, anything that gives financial power to the people is perceived as a great threat to the government. But as for bitcoin, they know they are just helpless in trying to stop what they can't actually do.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just A Well Thought Question on: August 28, 2019, 01:10:42 PM
These rankings are not a guarantee for a successful project. We have seen coins that is almost as fast as like the lightning network, yet no active traders and some are just dead now. Even some offer zero withdraw option, still, people don't trust them.
