my sister emailed me about the bitcoin news today, she told me to sell my bitcoins because if you own them you are gonna be arrested.

Just saying this is what regular people think about bitcoin....

Really...wtf - man, its always 1 step forward 2 steps back for btc.

How we ever going to crack mainstream with those silly perceptions out there. Sad

Please someone offer some basic bitcoin education to the mainstream journalists and public.

It's just bad luck.  The pool has found no blocks.  It will pick up again.  It always does.   Grin

Bad luck hmmm
I'm running just over 1060Ghs
thats a LOT of bad lock  Wink

A couple days ago the luck was over 205%.  Looks like over the last 24 hours it's been about 117%.  If you've been with the pool for the last 24 hours your ahead of the game.  The bitcoin lottery probability will vary over the short term, but you're hash rate will always reward you over the long term.

Another dry spell Sad

520  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to start making BTC transactions? on: January 07, 2014, 05:00:17 PM
Hello All,

im interested to know all i need to start making transactions on every peak/crash of BTC like most of you here. Im new to this, im mining with a Saturn nov batch , it gave me 7 BTC till now and will soon become my newest furniture/heater.
i am reading all kind of forums here but didnt got how to make transactions, i want to sell at peak and buy when low, i can do this as i could see 2 crashes by now, my problem is following:
-1) im sending btc to exchange site wallet (i ll read more on those i see MT gox not so good lately)
-2) im selling at which price i want/current
-3) im taking fiat for the btc... and here problem starts... shall i get fiat into my bank account (this will take too long for the bussiness) or shall i use paypal to have money accesible fast?

any redirect or help is highly appreciated. Thank you

Regards

1. Mtgox is bad for a long time. You can easily find numerous complaint posts. Tongue
3. Do you want to sell your mined btc? Or you want to be a btc trader and to make some profit by buying low and selling high?

Bank wire withdrawal should go through within days (unless you do it on mtgox Tongue).
