I know a lot of people have different reason why the love and embrace bitcoin.
For me the decentralized nature of bitcoin and the thought of being able to send coins to anybody in any part of the word, no third party, no regulation(specific amount), no bullshit is mind blowing.

Ah going back in time I love it. My first time actually knowing bitcoin was a few years back in 2015 but it was for playing on a poker website and I thought I was going to get scammed so I forgot about it. The first time I knew bitcoin price though was this year when it was around $1k. Instantly I was hooked and upon learning about bitties I knew I had to get my hands on it.
I started to know bitcoin when the price is just about $2,300 only. It is surprising that it only takes few months to become this great that is reaching about $20,000. It is truly a great success of bitcoin in our society nowadays. We can only just depend on it because bitcoin is volatile, we do not know when it will rise and when it will fall. Better to keep bitcoin first and convert if you are surely to exchange or convert it. 2 years ago, Bitcoin was just only 400,500$. However, I tried to convince my parents to invest Bitcoin. They refuse and they also told that Bitcoin was a scam. Now, they really regret but they have invested Bitcoin for couple of months.
