501  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS 0.6 BTC for PP on: January 03, 2017, 09:30:31 PM
If he doesn't respond he will get tagged as a scammer.

Done.

OP, if you want to get rid of the negative trust then post proof of ownership (a signed message) for BTC0.6 and confirm you'll use escrow.
502  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Caution : Possible scam attemp!!!! on: December 29, 2016, 06:21:49 PM

Removed. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and sorry for the delay.
503  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ignore list of gaudy paid signature users (3300+ users) on: December 06, 2016, 02:21:42 PM
I see people keep creating lists which are basically copies of the very poor ignore list created by DannyHamilton where signature spammers, helpful users with paid signatures, helpful users without signatures, spammers without signatures and random users were added alike.

You may want to add users yourself or at least check the list before blindly using it. Otherwise you'll lose some useful content.

Full disclosure: I'm on those lists and that's the reason why I checked it and know for sure it's very poor. Feel free to check my posts and signature and tell me whether you agree with me.
504  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming. Allowed? on: October 14, 2016, 08:09:52 PM
These ignore lists include most accounts with a paid signature (and also maybe some false positives, sorry guys)

Unfortunately much more than half of the list are false positives, so you can't really use it. It's like ignoring a great quantity of random users.
505  Economy / Lending / Re: I need a loan 0.008 btc repay 24 hr 0.015 on: October 06, 2016, 02:24:35 PM
minivan, please lock this thread (using the left-bottom link) or offer valid collateral other than your account. Otherwise you'll get negative trust for faking a sale as a loan.
506  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.3 BTC loan. 0.325 return. Legendary account collateral. on: September 19, 2016, 04:27:50 AM
Atp1916 is indeed my account.

I've dropped off most forum activity since mid-2015 after selling off my mining farm around that time.  However, I do not ever intend on selling my account here because i am not leaving the crypto scene any time soon, nor will i merely action off the integrity this account has built.

I did post my PGP Pub key in a staking thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1159946.msg13541956#msg13541956

I'd be happy to sign a message or two.

Because of the age signing a message with the address you already signed is much better. Did you already PM theymos as stated here?

Post a signed message from your main account after you get it back.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Ice Dealer who Brings Ice back from Singapore is Anti Bitcoin on: September 03, 2016, 01:55:09 PM
Sir!  It is very much against bitcointalk rules to post so consecutively as you have done in this thread.  Be careful,  you might get a warning ban like ecuamobi (I think it was) a couple months ago.

You seem to have a great deal of tinfoil hat paranoia that might respond to proper medication.   Hope you have good medical insurance,  my good sir.  Happy hat foil.
You must be confusing me with someone else. I've never been warned nor banned.
But you're right about OP. He may be banned for posting too many times in a row when a simple edit would have been enough. Normally a temporal ban is the warning.
508  Economy / Lending / Re: $50 Loan Needed Until Friday - I Have Collateral on: August 30, 2016, 05:27:01 PM
I'm not sure what collateral is accepted here, but I have all kinds of stuff that I could offer to cover the loan.

I just need the $50 loan until I get paid Friday.

If you can help, please let me know what collateral you need to make it happen. Thanks.
Don't ask for what collateral to give. We have no idea what you have (although I'm 99% sure nothing valid).
Read this and check for yourself what valid collateral you can offer.

Then come back here and clearly state what valid collateral you have, or lock your thread using the bottom-left link. If you don't do either you'll get negative trust.
509  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Drama Alert!] Quickseller blackmailing Default Trust Members on: August 25, 2016, 04:23:05 AM
Don't be a hypocrite EcuaMobi - by your reasoning you should have ignored me instead of adding to this drama!
No. I tried to reason with you. I still see hope.
But between you and QS I really don't see any, do you?

But you're partially right, I'll stop posting here and if you keep making death wishes or posting nonsense then I'll have to just ignore you. That would be a shame, I really hope I don't get to that.

If you don't like what I write, put me on ignore, unless you have messed up values yourself.
It seems you didn't read my post, didn't understand it or you're just twisting my words. You have messed up values if you think a human life is worth less than an improvement on a forum, not for not ignoring QS. And I still don't know whether you really think so, you keep just ignoring my questions or answering modified versions imagined by you.

I will not sit by and ignore scammers, sorry.   Undecided
You're completely blind when posting about him. You attack each other on any chance. You do fight scammers but when it's about him you just attack him and nobody wins there. You need to try and ignore your personal vendettas or feelings to improve your fight against scammers.
You're just lying to yourself if you think all the last posts you've made about him have been constructive. It would be like saying his posts about you have been so.
510  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Drama Alert!] Quickseller blackmailing Default Trust Members on: August 25, 2016, 04:03:28 AM
Even if you think the forum would be better if QS died, do you really think a human life is worth less than an improvement on a forum? I honestly think this fact should be considered by anyone before choosing to trust your judgment.

Yes - the forum would be better off without his scamming, lying and cheating.
I didn't ask whether you think the forum would be better without him. I disagree with you but it was obvious you thought so.
Do you think his or anyone else's life is worth less than an improvement on a forum? If you do you have really messed up values. Either that or you're just trolling.

Better evil die than good, don't you think?  Anyone who trusts my judgement knows it is unwavering against evil.
Even if we suppose your implied "QS is evil" is true for a minute, how would his death spear death to good?
You're wishing his death, you're not preferring his death instead of anybody else's.

No, I would not.  I don't care what scammers, liars and cheaters post about me one single bit.  QS also doesn't care about what I write about him - he's just using it for trollbait, which you fell for I'm afraid.   Undecided  (That's why I posted Drama Alert in the thread title)
Then just ignore him, don't comment about him and stop making all this drama.
I've said this before but please QS just ignore Vod and Vod just ignore QS. Just don't post anything nor comment about each other. That's a real way to make this forum a better place!
511  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Drama Alert!] Quickseller blackmailing Default Trust Members on: August 25, 2016, 01:50:43 AM
It only takes one positive comment for Quickseller and his alts to come out of his cave.  Shame on you, EcuaMobi.   Wink
No. Shame on you, seriously. You didn't even answer any of my questions. I'd appreciate if you re-read my first post and answer them.

There are thousands of people who die every hour who have better morals than he does.  Why should they die while that piece of shit continues to live and ruin other people's lives?
People die and we can't do anything about that. Wishing somebody to die is very different.

I really don't care if he just quits the forum or kills himself
I still find this disturbing but at least not caring is much better than wishing for it.

His statement was a veiled threat intended to intimidate me.
His comment was likely illegal in Canada.
I'm not sure about legal definitions but I wouldn't think it's a direct threat. I may be wrong.
I do think it's definitely hate speech, unarguably wrong.

I don't like the pm QS sent to several users
The purpose of the PM was to:
1) Let those who have Vod on their trust list know of Vod's recent behavior
2) Let these people know that I believe that I find it so egregious that anyone would support this kind of behavior, and/or value the words, opinions, and statements of people who engage in this kind of behavior, that others should be warned about those who support this kind of behavior, and/or value the words, opinions, and statements of people who engage in this kind of behavior
3) Anyone who considers my message to be a threat would be, in effect, agreeing with 2, and thus are agreeing that such a warning is appropriate.
The part of your PM I didn't like was the threat which Vod made bold in the quote posted in OP. A simple FYI would have been enough to let anybody take their own decisions.
Just to confirm: I didn't find anything wrong with the PM you sent me. You only made me aware of his reply in Lutpin's thread and I found it useful.
512  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Drama Alert!] Quickseller blackmailing Default Trust Members on: August 24, 2016, 10:46:31 PM
Vod, thinking and posting that you wish QS (or anybody else) would kill himself is obviously not a threat. However it does make me think you have serious issues.

Even if you think the forum would be better if QS died, do you really think a human life is worth less than an improvement on a forum? I honestly think this fact should be considered by anyone before choosing to trust your judgment.

I know I'm not the only one who believes this. You must have realized Lutpin had full support on his thread about this (I mean on the specific point of someone wishing he kills himself at least).

I'm sure QS thinks this forum would be better without you, it's known you hate each other. But I doubt he wishes you to die. Would you honestly not be bothered if he posted that he wishes you to kill yourself? I'm not asking whether you'd consider a thread. Wouldn't you find it disturbing and wouldn't you at least use it to make a post against him?

I don't like the pm QS sent to several users but to be honest I find your death wish much more concerning, even if not a direct threat.
513  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How much is the Electrum 2FA fee? on: August 24, 2016, 04:09:16 PM
@Socman: I haven't used that service but from a quick search I found this here:
Quote
fee is currently fixed at 0.0005 BTC
It'd be worth testing it to confirm.

@bitdimes: Electrum doesn't charge any fees. That fee you mention is added to the transaction so that miners include it in a block. And it's not a fixed value nor a percentage. It depends on the size of the transaction. Normally TXs are only a few hundred bytes so fees are very low. If you really were charged $9+ worth then it must have been a huge transaction.
Did you get your satoshis from tens or hundreds of dust transactions from faucets or similar? Please post the ID of the TX you mention.

If you broadcast a big transaction (I mean big in bytes, not in value) without a fee or with a fee much lower than recommended then it will probably never confirm, regardless of whether you use Electrum, Armory or any other client.
514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with more than 8 digits? - Below satoshis on: August 23, 2016, 05:54:08 PM
I see rawx.io has implemented this so of course it's possible.
I still haven't read any argument that explains why other exchanges limit themselves to 8 digits.
515  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan on: August 22, 2016, 10:31:31 PM
I can offer this account. I have nothing else. If I had milions I wouldn't ask for a loan. If you can't offer anything please don't signature spam.

Please offer valid collateral (of course your account is not) or cancel your request and lock this thread. Otherwise you'll get negative trust in a few minutes.
516  Economy / Reputation / Re: OgNasty: "@Lutpin: Really should kill himself." on: August 21, 2016, 05:15:59 PM
I think Quickseller really should kill himself.

Here's a man who's decent enough to straight up say it instead of causing a controversial topic like this.

Lutpin, I recommend that you take some time off to figure out what to do with your life and stop mini modding the forum, it's about Bitcoin; not spammers. You've practically done nothing for Bitcoin or its users, so why should you have the right to be on DT? Especially considering the fact that you abuse it so much.

I'm not taking the side of Lutpin, or OgNasty.   It's just the way I feel - the forum would be much better off if Quickseller would take his own life.   Undecided

Is this supposed to be sick joke? I know you both lose control when talking about the other so lately I've just tried to ignore posts by you mentioning QS or by him mentioning you (while I do read posts by the both of you otherwise) but if you really mean this then you're quite inestable. I hope that's not the case and I just don't get your humor. Is this a joke or not?
517  Economy / Reputation / Re: OgNasty: "@Lutpin: Really should kill himself." on: August 18, 2016, 11:18:30 PM
And I really don't think "Really should kill himself" must be taken literally.
Considering the messages that they've exchanged privately, I'm not sure what to think of this.

Is OGNasty going to get tagged for this?  It seems like it's bad behavior at the least.
This is what we call "bad behavior" now? The situation is a mess.

If OgNasty doesn't confirm what I'm assuming in good faith then this is much more than bad behavior and he must be tagged.

OgNasty, am I assuming correctly that you didn't really mean this?
518  Economy / Reputation / Re: OgNasty: "@Lutpin: Really should kill himself." on: August 18, 2016, 11:02:37 PM
I really don't like how OgNasty has been handling all this. He has accused others to threaten him while I consider his actions could be qualified more as that.
As I've said before I think not advertising Betcoin would be much more responsible, especially for someone as trusted as OgNasty. But I don't think there are enough proof to demand it or to leave negative trust to him or others who promote it. OgNasty promotes it and it's somewhat disappointing but so be it. This has really came out of control.

@Lutpin: I really think you should just drop it. To be honest I'd say it's not worth it. And I really don't think "Really should kill himself" must be taken literally. It's an awful thing to say but I really don't think he meant it. I think he was just mad. Isn't that right OgNasty?

@OgNasty: It seems your whole point is that you assume everyone that asks you to stop promoting it is in a conspiracy, has several alts and has interests on competing sites. However you miss to provide any proof. If what you assume is true then my whole point of view would change.
