This coin seems to have some good advantages compared to Primecoin. I was also able to get the mining up with xptminer and ypool much easier than other CPU coins (looking at you Maxcoin launch).
Just seems like it needs some marketing help.

Its not dead...its been out less than a month (although that is a long time for the crypto world). Although it is sad looking at price...one is foolish to think any coin is dead with a community like this and the exchanges that are willing to list it..I am neutral on this coin. I only hold 2000 SMC for fun. But seriously..those thinking that a coin is dead just because of price drops like this should just quit the crypto world.
no its dead because the community is pretty stale except for the few who keeps saying its a 3 week old coin so it'll be great blah blah, the dev is really great (most coins community think their dev is satoshi reincarnated), it's fair and transparent (plenty of alt/crap/shit coins that are like that out there), it's got great potential (which alt doesn't think that?), and most of all it's name (really?) you guys keep preaching it'll be back from the dead (Yes it's dead) yet the price keeps sinking. so either you know something that I don't in which this case I just think the devs + a few insiders are trying to slowly offload their holdings to bag holders (ie general public who buys into this crap they're feeding: see above) anyway these are just my sentiments. I'd be happy to make a huge loss and sell off my 18200 smcs or so for 2-2.5 btc. Any takers? Why are you grouping me together with those people? I never said it was going to be great did I? I said top 15-top 20. Because it is a 3 weeks coin. However, you assumed that because it is ALREADY a 3 weeks old coin, the coin is dead because the community is stale. If the community is stale, please explain why there are 9 exchanges, I think there is a forum and other various things (reddit, etc.) Again, I am not part of the community so I do not know. By your logic, Bitcoin was a dead coin when it first came out, so was Litecoin, so was Peercoin, Namecoin, etc. Actually Namecoin, Quark, and other top 10 coins are kind of dead right now don't you think by your logic since not many posts about it lately? You are treating every single coin that are 3 weeks old with no steady/exponential rise or stableness to it a dead coin. If you want stable, go fiat. If you want to make a great ROI go invest in the next NXT. Smartcoin, in my opinion, will never be great. Again, I believe it will be top 20 at best. I don't know. Please stop saying you guys keep preaching because this is my first time actually posting about Smartcoin. I never said dev. was great either btw so do not twist words. If you want to say you guys in a collective term, please mention specifics. Whats great about it? The name.. obviously. If you don't know by now...Cryptoworld is a weird one. Dogecoin...Mooncoin..Earthcoin.. What do they have to offer besides marketing? NOTHING. But people will buy into anything if there is hype. Will there be hype for Smartcoin? I don't know. I bought in when Smartcoin was 3 cents a piece so I am not really losing so Idc. I invested in Darkcoin, Huntercoin, Litecoin, Datacoin, and other various coins I believe has potential or will give me a good return. Smartcoin is a coin I believe will give me decent returns base on the fact that the dev. has been delivering what he promised. So far, he was walk the walk. Base on that fact and nothing else. If I lose, eh. Thats Cryptoworld. But to judge a coin by only its price is foolish. |

not worth it. project is dead. Hate to agree but kind of do. I still hold a good amount of SBC though in case something happens but I've given up for now. Hope artos provides us with a ray of hope. My advice is this; just sell it, cut your losses, and move on. Use this as a learning experience. I took a hit on my investment when i sold, but it has worked out for the best. Im up with the new coin i put into. I wish I could but selling now would be an idiotic move because SBC I believe lowest it can go is .01 so I will hold. Either way I am already up a lot with Litecoin, Huntercoin, Darkcoin, and other various investments I made so its like winning 15k and losing 5k. Still up but sad. |
