502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to roll-back Ordinals? on: November 09, 2023, 02:05:12 AM
Why can't the devs just figure out how to make the transactions smaller so that they don't clog the chain up?
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Popular and Lucrative Ordinals Bitcoin NFTs- Where are my Ordinals Experts at? on: November 09, 2023, 01:58:32 AM
To be honest, if I have to add anything ordinals to my crypto portfolio it will be Ordi Protocol, I know it's crappy but it already make name for itself, whenever Bitcoin pumps this ORDI follows, that makes it a good one to look out for but for profit making purposes only, I am not saying it's a best bet but if you diversify you will be fine, and don't forget to take profit on the way up.

I am not a fan of NFTs and I am not a fan of crappy looking pictures on Bitcoin either, but remember that sometimes in crypto space, unnecessary innovations like this makes the biggest money and they happily goes down the drainage after, buy the rumor and sell the news is always a good stuff in the crypto ecosystem.

If you can play your cards right you will win big with crypto in the coming bull market.

Damn Z390 you were spot on, I wish I would have paid this comment more mind because ORDI is up like crazy!!! An I too late to the Ordinal party?!

506  Economy / Collectibles / Re: "Bitcoin Collection: Exploring the Variety of Physical Bitcoins" on: November 01, 2023, 01:13:00 AM
It's really quite a shame that they didn't do their research! There are a lot of fun new projects, too. Honestly there really needs to be a 2016-current update on all coin releases even scam and of course not scam for the purpose of history. There are so many with no reference. I don't think Elias is getting a new one out there anytime soon but I could be wrong?

512  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: US SEC does not plan to appeal court decision on Grayscale bitcoin ETF on: October 17, 2023, 04:24:04 AM
SEC is not afraid of loosing time. Rather they want to do it this way so that everything starts over again. Now grey scale will have to follow every procedure from the beginning. And like you said now SEC may come up with a very strong reason for not approving the application.

So we are now coming back to square one where everything starts over with no specific resolution. All the best grayscale!

Also SEC has recently approved BlackRock's ETF. Do you think it's a coincidence?

The SEC wants more skin in the game with Blackrock being the worlds largest asset manager. They move more weight. Blackrock's ETF probably will end up being the 1st BTF no matter what.

518  Economy / Collectibles / Re: NGC formally announces 250 Brass Cass Coins being Auctioned w/ Heritage Soon on: October 12, 2023, 03:31:36 AM
I spoke to them extensively on the phone today, they don’t usually do the $5000 deposit thing, but because of the value of each coin that’s what you got a pay to play. I have the credit app and I’m filling it out tomorrow to submit it, when I find out the terms I’ll let everybody know on the site. Being able to pay in bitcoin would be a major plus.

You would think that eventually they would allow this and we can only hope for it! Time will tell
519  Economy / Collectibles / Re: NGC formally announces 250 Brass Cass Coins being Auctioned w/ Heritage Soon on: October 11, 2023, 09:29:50 PM
Wow.....250 cas coins....in my dreams!  The Otoh collection...I wonder how many more of these in his other collection Cheesy

Thanks for sharing this with us...should be interesting!

Absolutely! I know the announcement has been due for a while now, and I didn't see any thread with the official announcement so I took the liberty of sharing with the group. I am very pleased with NGC finally grading crypto! Now if they could just make the service public on all other outlets, NGC IG, Emails, Website, etc. I have to hand it to Otoh, like 250 Cass coins has to be just a small fraction of his collection. Definitely well played!! Its always good to cash out at some point in this case he has done us a huge favor getting with NGC who has been so stubborn to grade these coins in this space for so long. Otoh has done this at such a great time and for the good of the community, I hope he makes a killing on this!
