501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Altcoins that's very profitable in Trading and Mining. on: May 08, 2020, 08:38:23 AM
From the list I go for Monero, Zcash and Ethereum, because not only are they good for trading owing to their prominent nature but also for mining. In my own understanding, one of the things that affects mining is the tools and cost of energy, especially energy is a deciding factor when profit comes to play which is also one of the reasons why most people don't mine again, since a good chunk of their earnings or profits goes back to paying energy bills.
502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why we trust binance exchange? on: May 07, 2020, 11:27:20 AM
Yes Binance is the best exchange in terms of many things of which you have highlighted most but I do not fully agree with you. No exchange can fully be trusted nor can any exchange be said to be secured, remember as big as Binance is, it was still hacked, that sends a very good message. But in other terms or attributes such as volume, IEO and so on, it is the best and can't be compared with others. Lastly, I still use Binance but I try as much as I can to be careful, same thing with other exchanges.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash what are your thoughts? on: May 07, 2020, 11:15:54 AM
I see a lot of people talking about BCH, a lot of adopter and also a lot of people that don't like and some that says it's a scam.
And you? what is your opinion about it? A good coin? a shitcoin?

As a matter of fact many people have different views and opinions about this coin where some people hates it others likes it and that's the nature of things. But among all, there is something I have seen or heard from a lot of people and that is, they leverage it just for profit and nothing more because it offers nothing.
As for me, I can't term it a good coin nor a shitcoin because I have no long term (holding) interest in it but yet i don't mind taking profit from it at every possible time.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you newbie looking for perceive income? Just be careful of AIRDROP on: May 06, 2020, 07:00:35 PM
You nailed it out and that's the truth, many airdrops today are not worth the attention let alone efforts given to them, because they are clearly out to scam unsuspecting people of their hard earned money. What surprises me is the fact that, a project carrying out an airdrop campaign will then ask the users to send ETH for transfer fee, to activate wallet and so on, funny enough some people will still send. So I just hope newbies will come across this post and be enlightened so that they won't continue falling for scams all in the name of airdrops. Another to watch out is those asking for private keys and so on.
505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you trade if you won't leave your coins on exchange on: May 06, 2020, 06:43:43 PM
It is true that as traders there is every chance that funds must be left on the exchange; however, from my own understanding, when the statement of not leaving funds on exchanges are made the idea is, don't leave your funds for too long and if you aren't trading with it, then withdraw to external or personal wallets. Also, if it is a valuable coin, withdraw to personal wallet; I have seen those who always send out their trading profits. For the fact there is no secure exchange be it top exchanges or otherwise, then there is need to be security conscious for the sake of our funds.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bibox Exchange? on: May 05, 2020, 11:01:44 AM
Anyone know anything about this exchange?  I check and see some coins are listed on here but how is this site compared to say binance?  Is it safe etc?

Yes I have heard of the exchange and as well traded there and I must point out, it is a good exchange with decent volume and there wasn't any issue I encountered. But in comparison with Binance, Binance is better, actually Binance is better than most exchanges, both in volume, features etc and Bibox isn't exempted. Nevertheless, just like no exchange is safe in anyway, I wouldn't recommend storing your assets for a long time be it on Bibox or even Binance.
507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: May 05, 2020, 10:48:13 AM
As a bounty hunter always expect failures sometimes

1. Just because a golden year occurred in the past doesn't mean we will witness such again, yes it's possible but better adapt to present condition.

2. Promoting two to three projects and waiting for your payment doesn't make sense, as a bounty Hunter the sky should be your limit, since we can't tell which project will pay or not I suggest continues hunting.

3. Listed bounties may not pay, it's still same risks as bounty projects that aren't listed on exchange yet, rewards may vary but who am I to tell? I'm not a great seer am I?

4. Scammers takes advantage of Cov-19 alot and many still fall victim upon all the warnings, now we only have few days left till next Bitcoin halving, few new scam projects will surface, keep your eyes sharply opened

Someone once said (forgotten the person), the going will only get tougher and that's how life is most times; but in this case one needs to be careful and strategic in his dealings. The crypto space isn't what it used to be, nowadays most projects are just used by the team to carry out their fraudulent acts while only a few are good for every efforts hence I agree with your 2nd point, one needs to be persistent. Also, your 4th point is true as well, scammers uses any opportunity they come across and this pandemic gave them one, hence it is wise to be careful of some of the things projects promises to do because most of the promises or objectives are just to attract investors and scam them.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time on: May 04, 2020, 11:58:42 AM
No where in the world is currently safe from Cov-19 and there is lockdown in every country today, this is the best time to gain people's trust, online job seeking have increased through Google search and new people are getting into crypto investment, what is the best time to release your project if it's not now?

It is true that no where in the world is exempted from this drastic effect of the virus hence as it is with human nature, everyone will look for another means to sustain themselves both financially and otherwise thus this is where crypto comes into the picture. Also, no matter the relationship we have with anyone who is developing interest to join the crypto space, let us make sure the adequate education, knowledge and information is passed on to them, therefore helping them to make the right decisions on their own. And lastly, yes, this is a good time to join as well as a good time for new and trusted projects to launch.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dump or HODL these coins? on: May 04, 2020, 11:41:06 AM
This is a very very long list and seriously I admire your courage only if it had been with other major altcoins then it would have been better. Nevertheless, in my own little opinion, I can only point out Ethereum Classic as the one worth holding, as for the rest and if it's me, I would sell them off and focus more on Ethereum and Bitcoin, maybe with a little of BNB. You can still make more research about other coins or check popular opinions as well.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay in waves or convert them to ethereum? on: May 03, 2020, 01:19:56 PM
This reminds me of those that invested in many projects whose team claims they will overtake Ethereum blockchain etc. It's sad you are in such loss but don't be frustrated there is always a way; I can only but suggest you sell off half of it or maybe sell 70-80% to ETH because from the look of things I can hardly remember the last time waves had a huge update which will likely cause it to grow. Ethereum on the other hand proves to be better and you might gain something good sooner than later now the market is encouraging.
511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to offload an Altcoin on: May 03, 2020, 01:06:39 PM
If you have $400,000 worth of an Altcoin, that has a daily trading volume of $100,000, how do you offload it? Because it seems like a coin with a medium amount of trading volume only has maybe $500 trades at the most. So I don't get how someone could offload a large amount?

I think the first thing to do is to check if it is listed on another better change, if it is not then selling in smaller amount will be the best way for you and for everyone. Selling at once will crash the market and will likely drive away buyers, and of course will affect you too. So you will be patient while you sell gradually, it will take time but it looks like the best option and I don't see any other way.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers in a top exchanges telegram groups on: May 02, 2020, 08:02:06 AM
That is true, scammers are everywhere not just in exchanges telegram groups but in other projects groups as well. I think the reason why there are many scammers in exchanges group is because there is a higher chance of seeing those with issues as well as newbies too.
One of the ways to be safe is, always using the search engine to search for similar issues, this will hide the person from prying eyes. Also, if there is need to chat with an admin, always check the admin tag first and in cases of different messages from people probably scammers, always check the admin profile and message directly from the group. Another tip is, no admin will send message first and no admin will ask for funds to solve an issue.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could, would you delete every altcoin? on: May 02, 2020, 07:07:57 AM
I would. Why so many cryptocurrencies should exist? Only one, and all of us would want the same coin.

Like in the real world, we have yens, euros, dollars. Imagine having only 1 currency  Shocked

Wouldn't it be great?

Many cryptocurrencies are not worthy to exist we all know but having the mindset of deleting all cryptocurrencies and being left with just 1 goes against the main idea blockchain was created which is decentralization, that is, empowering everyone to be In charge of his assets etc. In all sincerity, No, it will not be great but will be disastrous as the person in charge of the remaining crypto will have the power to do anything he wishes and no one will question him.
514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: did i lose my etc? on: May 01, 2020, 02:07:49 PM
hello, i had 250 etc coins stored in my cew and 3 months ago i switched to emerald wallet. when i checked the wallet an hour ago, i saw my wallet was empty and i checked etc explorer, there was a transaction 1 week ago. did somebody hack and steal my coins?

https://classic.etccoopexplorer.com/address/0x747ab94e0fd1f99700fd81a4f59c174dd7c48ef2/transactions

i'm kinda noob, so any help would be appreciated.

Sorry for this but from all indications given by you, it shows that the asset has been stolen or hacked and nothing can be done about it. The next thing that will be of great importance is knowing how it happened and applying caution else it might still happen again. As a suggestion, I suggest you cross-check the place you downloaded the wallet from. Also, check if in anyway you might have misplaced your private keys, backup phrases etc. And lastly your device might have been compromised via malware or virus, thus scan for better security.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you prefer to invest token or coin? on: May 01, 2020, 01:42:57 PM
I am of the notion that everything revolves around what the token or coin is capable of doing. Most coins today which are performing well all started from one blockchain or the other with a greater number starting from Ethereum blockchain. So, if a token is worth it, then there is no reason not to invest same is with coins. The only issue I think most tokens have is, once they migrate to their own blockchain or to another blockchain they tend to lose out on their aims and objectives. Also, in the issue of no coin performing IEO other than token, I think it is because the team don't have the neccessary funding to develop their own blockchain prior to IEO.
516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best IEO exchanges for new projects on: April 30, 2020, 09:33:44 AM
Hi, today I will like to make a list of exchanges that are good for IEO since few members already create posts about bad exchanges that's needed to be avoided at all costs, if you are a new developer this might be useful for you

1. Binance Launchpad
2. Okex jumpstart
3. Huobi Prime
4. Bittrex international
5. Kucoin
6. Gate.io
7. Bitmax
8. Bithumb

These exchanges has the best history of successful IEO projects, if you have any I will like to add to the list, bad exchanges need to be avoided at all cost

From my little experience so far I think I can say that the success of every IEO depends on the exchange in question, exchanges 1,2,3, 5 and 6 are known to have had successful IEOs where investors ends up happy. Also, there are a lot of other exchanges, most of which are not on this list known for unsuccessful IEOs where investors ends up regretting. Therefore I agree with your list except number 4 and 8, kind of sceptical about them. In addition, Bitmax is another good exchange for IEO, I have seen a project perform well there but can't remember the name.
517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starting point projects. Are they worth the hype? on: April 30, 2020, 09:18:56 AM
What you have to understand is many things has changed since 2017, most people are no longer gullible as before, most have changed their mindset entirely, most now go for major coins, most now participate in IEOs in top exchanges and list goes on; this is to show you that a good number of people can't blindly throw money again as it were in 2017. Nowadays, due diligence is the hallmark of everything, therefore until there are good results from the team hardly will anyone invest in any kind of project.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO vs ICO my opinion, tell me yours on: April 29, 2020, 07:09:28 PM
For those that have been around in the Cryptocurrency market for a pretty long time the question to invest in IEOs or ICOs has been the main discussion point in 2019.
For some especially on “bitcointalk” it is clear that they won't invest in IEO anymore. After I have followed lots of discussion on bitcointalk i realized that people have moved on. It is a clear that people invest in IEOs as the platforms will evaluate the projects and give the investor the feeling of security.
Nevertheless i have observed a trend. The numbers in the ICO market have been declining but stayed fairly stable in 2019. The main reason for moving on to IEOs was the astonishing amount of scams that had flooded the market, since it was easy to make a lot of money.
This move to IEOs has something good. I believe that as harder it gets to hold an ICO as more the projects have to do to convince potential investors. Scammers want easy money and my hope is that the ICO market will come back slowly. Projects that will hold an ICO have to invest more time to convince people.
I sadly had to accept that those who scammed investors destroyed the dream of projects with little money that have great ideas. To hold an ICO and build a community of investors around it is a great way to fund your project without going to big VC firms. Unfortunately those you scammed investors destroyed the ICO market till now and it will take a lot of time to recover.
I have accepted that IEOs are currently the way to fund a project. The only thing that worries me is the power we give those exchanges. Is it really god idea to give that much power to exchanges in the cryptomarket.
Please let me know your thoughts. I am looking forward to good feedback & discussions.

For some reasons I think ICO might not come back again, this main reason is security of invested funds which ICO lacked right from inception hence giving scammers power to carry out their deadly acts, therefore this big failure of ICO only gave IEO a good growing ground to overshadow it (ICO) which IEO has done perfectly. Yes, it can't be argued that we have given exchanges a lot of power to do many things but investors see it profitable owing to the fact they don't need to worry about exit scam nor worry when the team will list the project on exchanges. My last thoughts is, anyhow we see it, IEO is a bit better than ICO both in terms of invested funds security and gains.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Trust Wallet! on: April 29, 2020, 06:51:42 PM
Hello Everyone,
I want to start social bounty again, because i think this is the right time to do online jobs/bounty hunting! So, my question is, Is Trust wallet supports ERC20 tokens? Do you think it is secure enough?

Thank you.
Stay home! Take care your Family.

Having used Imtoken and then Trust wallet I can say Trust wallet is more friendly and with more features. However, although both wallets are secure enough but trust wallet looks more attractive both in use and otherwise. To answer your first question, trust wallet supports ERC 20 tokens and also is secure enought to protect yours assets.
520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: April 28, 2020, 06:01:22 PM
Also, gone are the days when project team are serious, gone are the days when projects have good use case and it goes on. As for me, I wouldn't blame new investors, like who will be glad to invest in a token and the team ends up not following what they said they would do and it ends up useless? Most team today, don't care about development but their pockets and in the same way, new investors hardly cares about watching a project develop but to dump and move on. Just a few projects these days are worth holding.
