Seriously?? Down for over 8 hours so far....where is the advertised 24/7 support? 13 hours down. THIRTEEN HOURSSSSSSS!!!! Ya do know crypto is time sensitive don't ya? After over 20 hours of down time and no reply, I suddenly get extended time that may or may not equal what I paid for.....without ANY communication. Are you having a laugh? I don't want more time on a rig I no longer need. I want a fucking refund! While your shit was down I had to rent other rigs to keep pace with the market I was chasing. The chase is over. What price was this coin going for before disaster struck? What were the ipo prices per coin?
I am curious what price range the coin potentially could get to long term.

This coin has piqued my interest, and I have a few suggestions. 1. Be sure the coin is up-to-date using the Bitcoin Core 0.9.1 before attempting a launch. 2. PoS is defo something you should be looking into. For those who don't know about it, here is the short version. After a certain block, PoS becomes available. Once PoS is available the coins in your wallet start earning or "minting" new coins whether you are mining or not. The PoS encourages people to hold instead of dump. The coins must be in your wallet, not in a pool wallet or on an exchange. 3. Give DAILY updates! Even if the update says "things are going as planned", that calms the masses. 4. Make dam sure you have working compiled wallets for Windows, Mac, and Linux available before launch, and post the password at launch.Good luck, I'll be lurking  |

The core problem hasn't been fixed and is unlikely to be fixed.........the devs. They got in over their heads, made huge mistakes, then went totally silent until the community stepped up and pulled their bacon out of the fire. This coin screams incompetence and lack of leadership, which is the core problem unlikely to be fixed.
At first I thought they were just shell-shocked and would pull their heads out, but their complete lack of care reeks in IRC chat.

I have officially given up and dumped my coins. Latest wallet sync's, then unsync's, works for some people, doesn't work for others, then stops working for people it did work for as blocks get higher.
The wallet needs a total rewrite from scratch and the devs are unwilling to pay anyone to do it and just hope the community does it for them. Well enough is enough. Voxelot got them a patched together wallet that would buy the devs a few days to code a proper wallet, but they can't be bothered. Well I can't be bothered to invest in or back this coin any longer. Do so at your own peril!
Pools and exchanges are fed up with all the crap and many of them have dropped the coin, or plan to do so very soon. The number of miners is pitiful(miners mean support for the network). A few investors continue to try and prop up the coin values, but are mainly trading among themselves and the few remaining miners.
Nothing more to see here, move along folks.
Ok, you dumped your coins. Everybody take the responsibility for his own wallet. Yours is empty, hope you will not be sorry about that ... or ... sorry ... Has it been determined if the coin was forked, or problems due to dev error, or both? Safe to jump into the water now?
The water2x.txt shows it was a miner in China. They were likely on the wrong fork and ptopex security didn't catch it quickly enough. |
