501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: April 16, 2017, 10:06:36 AM
Anything other than signature campaigns and gambling.

A bit saved is a bit earned. So save your money by not clicking on any of the signatures of the people posting in this thread.
Better invest in a good altcoin.Do your own research and find the most under valued altcoin. But altcoin market is highly volatile.Trading is the best option available today to increase your altcoins.
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: April 16, 2017, 09:53:47 AM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
Bitcoin may die when Quantum computing would be introduced. But it would take around 20 more years for it to be introduced. But i hope necessary developments would be made by that time to save bitcoins.Bankers and governments have tried a lot to destroy bitcoins but they couldnot.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2017, 09:44:24 AM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
No bank would accept directly bitcoins.Mostly, they consider bitcoin as their rival.Golden Digital bank WB2 has started accepting bitcoins. In future, most banks would come to accept bitcoins due to market pressure.
504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: April 16, 2017, 09:38:52 AM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.
I save bitcoin for my family's secured future. Not only me,lots of people have started saving bitcoin instead of gold.Bitcoin is digital gold.Since bitcoin price has increased considerably from time its being created, its a good investment in a long term basis.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: April 16, 2017, 09:30:57 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
Bitcoin willnot be replaced. No altcoin could come to bitcoin's place.Bitcoin is the pioneer in crypto currency.Altcoins were in need of bitcoin for their valuation.Bitcoin has survived successfully many critical situations and it would survive more.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: April 16, 2017, 09:21:11 AM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

If you have just your fiat money,it will just remain same and it will not grow. But if you invest it in bitcoin,it would grow gradually giving you good returns. You can enjoy tax free for your earnings in bitcoin unless it is regulated in your country. You could send huge amounts of money via btc to any parts of the world instantly with low fees.

508  Economy / Economics / Re: How bitcoin can be useful in developing nations like the African continent. on: April 15, 2017, 05:42:20 PM
Hey folks!

I'm new to the forum here. I've been watching with excitement lots of documentaries about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. As probably most of you here, I am completely fascinated by the wonders of Bitcoin and its potential use in paving a new path towards decentralization of the financial system. I live in Ethiopia (East Africa), second highest population in the continent with a large amount of people still considered unbanked (low to no access to financial institutions). Hence, I am seriously considering starting a bitcoin service in the country to try and alleviate some of these issues. I am therefore open to any engagement of productive discussions about Bitcoin and its benefits in developing nations. How can we implement Bitcoin systems here? Where do we begin? Who can we partner with? How to include the financially unincluded? How can local businesses thrive with Bitcoin? How can donations happen using Bitcoin? And all questions related to developing nations and Africa. Thank you all in advance for the active participation!
Definitely,Bitcoin could help for the progress of African people.Like Nigeria, soon Ethiopians would adopt bitcoins.Since bitcoin is in its early stage in Ethiopia, you could become a pioneer in bitcoin services in your country.Bitcoin's utmost use is to be realized fully if such countries get benefit by adopting bitcoins.Bitcoin could reach and benefit all the places where banking sector doesnot even want to provide service due to low profitability.
509  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing money on bitcoin..! on: April 15, 2017, 05:32:40 PM
Nowadays many people are starting to invest money on bitcoin or the buy bitcoin..is this a good approach?
How this will influence us in future?
First, people found Gold as a valuable asset which would give good returns. But now sice Digital gold bitcoin has come, they have started to invest in bitcoins as it yields more profits than gold.More over,it works on a secured blockchain system. Its indeed a good approach as bitcoin would be the future of the economy.
510  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you feel about the death penalty? on: April 15, 2017, 02:51:09 PM
I agree with the death penalty, but not all violations must end with the death penalty. I could agree with the rules of the death penalty for the killers. When someone dared to end the life of another person, he must also be prepared to accept the same. The death penalty for thieves also, but the death penalty is not the primary selection. The death penalty for thieves should be based on how much amount he stole. If you really make the victim became very miserable, then I agree. And the main thing is the criminals, who steal state money and make people destitute, should be put to death.
Yes,for very cruel acts, death penalty would be the correct punishment.Arresting a murderer and keeping him in jail for his life time will not at all be a punishment. But in some countries,a murderer is given 14 years of imprisonment and then he is released. These soft punishments will not bring the crime ratio down.
511  Other / Politics & Society / Re: DPRK Missile Submarine is not detected by US Forces. on: April 15, 2017, 02:38:20 PM
I do not see any difference between Trump and North Korean president both are psychos who want the world to face another last world war.
Even if North Korea may not match US in technology and arm and weapons but it will have full support of China because North Korean defear will be seen as China's loss.
Yes,both are psychos. But Kim is a better psycho than trump psycho because kim doesnot interfere in other countries affairs and trump interferes in all countries affairs.Trumph psycho is more dangerous than all psychos in the world.
512  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US attacked Afghanistan 🇦🇫. on: April 15, 2017, 02:33:11 PM
I read about it and they spent millions on just 1 bomb and God knows if it killed only terrorists or civilians. Trump did what he said and it's the worst decision ever made. Bombing won't do anyone good and if they want a surgical strike, they should only test its weapons to target the terrorist and not civilians.
Its sad to see that US has taken these countries as a testing ground for their weapons. Now Russia may follow the same path and test its weapons in some other country.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: April 15, 2017, 02:18:34 PM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
I would just try to explain him about bitcoin.A person who dont know about bitcoin only will talk against bitcoins.I would explain him bitcoin's achievements in past years and even my achievements in life due to bitcoin.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you stop someone forcing you to hand over your private key and taking all on: April 15, 2017, 01:38:29 PM
You are really dumb if you will give away your private key from someone. There is a reason why is it called a "private key" for you to keep it by yourself because you own it.Even  if you are being forced why would you give it then.Having a dummy wallets will help you to get more secure if they force to get the private key from you
Yes, that seems to be a practical idea.Just give them the private keys of your dummy wallet which has no btc or which have some satoshis.
515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: April 15, 2017, 01:23:32 PM
What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?
Anonymity is the biggest hurdle for bitcoin to get accepted by governments/banks because they can't implement taxation as well as they can't track source of bitcoin. However anonymity is also the main feature due to which many users love to store in bitcoin and use it whenever they like.

Governments/banks may never accept direct bitcoin payments, but they may implement strict rules/regulation and high fees on local bitcoin trading platform. And as recent coinbase and PBOC investigation have shown that governments are now looking to get detail about every bitcoin traders who are actively trading bitcoin so that they can put tax on their earnings as well as limit money laundering.
Governments fear that they would have to face huge loss in tax revenues due to bitcoins. Also, they fear that bitcoins would lead to illegal activities.
Instead of banning bitcoins, governments should take measures to regulate bitcoins like China and Russia
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Number of Bitcoin users. on: April 15, 2017, 01:15:11 PM
It doesn't matter how many members are using bitcoin, the value of bitcoin matter because once members are increasing the value of bitcoin will increase always. It is very hard to calculate based on their address because many people are using more than 1 address, so it is very hard to predict.
Absolutely, its very difficult to calculate the exact number of bitcoin users. The reason is one user may have one bitcoin and the other may have 10 bitcoins.More over, one person may have more than one bitcoin wallet. So,generally we can say that number of bitcoin users is rapidly increasing.
517  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: April 14, 2017, 05:26:05 PM
The real reason is that they have limited supply, and people want them. (people may not want bitcoin in the future btw) People always want gold and they want to gather as much as possible in their lifetime. It is the only solid asset which holds its true value through the centuries.
Definitely,Gold is the only asset which holds value for centuries. Now Bitcoin, the Digital Gold has joined with it.People buy both gold and bitcoins or either gold or bitcoin as an investment. They hope it would give huge returns and would be helpful in desperate times of need.
518  Economy / Economics / Re: New here: Tut for people interested in earning bitcoins (legit) on: April 14, 2017, 05:19:01 PM
Hi good day!

This would be my very first post. I am new to bitcoin still 5 days using coins.ph as loading, remittance, & bills payment. However, I wanted to earn bitcoins while searching in the internet there are tons of faucets but only few are paying up and its a total waste of time. I've heard of signature campaign and am interested but don't know how to start. Minning and loaning requires investment which I'm afraid to invest or it would be gone by the wind in one blow since I don't have any knowledge of how bitcoin works. So if there is someone willing to give like a tutorial I would really appreciate it...
You could join a signature campaign and start earning. Its the most legit way of earning. But since you are a newbie, most of campaigns would not accept you and even if they accept, the pay rate would be very low for newbies.Just continue posting for two months.By that time, you would be a junior member or full member and you could easily join campaigns.Good luck.
519  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: April 14, 2017, 05:08:57 PM
Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?
It is acceptable that dollars is already in its last phase as a global reserve currency. But,still bitcoin cannot replace dollars in just 15 years. It would take more time to replace.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: April 14, 2017, 04:51:17 PM

What do you like best about bitcoin?
Decentralization, transparency or easier to move?
Or just it makes you look cool? Wink
I like all the three features Decentralization, transparency by showing all transactions in the public ledger and easier to move meaning bitcoins could be sent with very low fees. But the third aspect is no more available due to high transaction fees.
