ITS TOO EARLY FOR X11 TO HAVE A PUMP AND DUMP SHITCOIN ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) X11 is perfect for shitcoin, it is only a senseless mix of hash functions. ;-) No it's not, use a algo thats already lost or no one cares about, like scrypt or blake256 (no matter how much I like blake256, its dead) X11 mix other hash function with no real motivation. No cryptografic motivation or alghoritmic motivation. The result is simply a new hash function with no special features. I think lower heat and power consumption is a special feature... True its not limited to this algo tho, groestl and heavy coin pretty efficient as well.

Very nice! What's the price tag? And what could you possibly mine with it? I have an R9 290 barely keeping up with difficulties.
500w TDP, $1500 , no thanks xD Probably 2 mh/s, but it's not cost-effective IMO.

IMO mining isn't worth it, cloud mining if you truly insist xD. Its pretty cheap, check out pbmining. But yeah the antminer s1 is pretty decent too, but its loud and hot. Preordering a scrypt ASIC is also a very viable option. I prefer fibonacci as they have good reputation and matching the kh/s to $ ratio of Titan KNC (.04/khs).

This is legit! Adding to watch list, and will test it out and report how I turned out xD

So best energy drink is tranquilizers ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) WTF? Tranquilizers are just the exact opposite of energy drinks. Tranquilizers help you to get some sleep, while energy drinks (especially the ones which contains plenty of caffeine and taurine) helps you to stay awake. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Sleep is the best source of energy though, nothing was said about staying awake ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Why is escrow bothersome? You just send the coins when asked, that's all. The escrow service takes care of the rest.

Of course developers have a lot of power.... they develop the coin. Also you said decentralized as possible how else are you going to filter nodes? Community vote?

It would be better to buy litecoins instead waiting for months for rigs to be delivered and putting your money in the hands of other people.
So true, but I could probably make some moeny as well leasing the rig, and mining very new coins (crossing fingers that I don't fork the blockchain xD). I would probably invest in several coins, besides LTC though, but thats a good route to go as well. Also investing the money works too.

Yes i mean for the nodes, but its a good way to make them public, and the dev could accept/reject them.
