To confirm the SYNC's minimum stake requirement (which I think is not there), anyone who has had his wallet stake in his computer, create a new wallet and transfer 0.1 SYNC to the new wallet, and see if the new wallet stakes with 0.1 balance.
If it does, then there is no minimum balance issue and if it does not then there could be a minimum balance requirement. Thanks

The operating system used
The wallet used
The time taken for the 0.1 to stake
Any transaction fee paid etc.
P.S- My balance is too low to do this.

Is that an issue? Tried just about all the tricks of the trade to get the MAC wallet to stake. It is just not happening  I have now installed a new wallet and the same wallet.dat ID on a Windows system and I will keep both wallets open to see if it makes any difference. EDIT: I used the normal windows wallet and not the flavoured one.. I hope this does not effect staking. I do think you need more patience. My issues are not with the staking problem, but the synchronising of wallets. If your wallet is in sync, let it be, it'll stake eventually. If your coins have been sat for more than 30 days, let us know, in the meanwhile, you need to just hold and wait. The problem is that, I don't see the green light and hence coin are not mature (have 4200+ confirmations). So with the current condition, I won't stake eve after 30 days Will give it one more day with windows wallet. |

No, nothing has staked for me from the time I had coins in my wallet. I think this might be a Mac issue but not sure. Wallet is at 8366 now and full sync'd, but none of the coins are mature. I also noticed that if I close my internet connection, the syncing stops (obviously) but when I restart the internet, the sync'g does not begin automaticall and wallets gets stuck trying to connect. I have to restart the wallet everytime after there is a loss of net connection. |

switched to xhash from main pool.... was hashing away but getting no confirmed / unconfirmed in xhash for a the last 1 hour. I have stopped mining Dark for now.

I'm one of those with the perpetual "Not staking because you don't have mature coins" people. I've been coding for 35 years and have looked at the code but I'm afraid C++ is not my native language and I have neither the time nor patience to learn it. There is definitely something unintended happening, or certainly the wallet is not behaving within the stated parameters of the coin.
I have the latest wallet, it's up do date (currently block 8340). I had a transaction come in (well over 6 hours ago) so I know the network is working and I had a positive balance for several days before that. If we can just get over this one hurdle then there's nothing wrong with the coin and hopefully it will recover.
If some coins have more than 1000 confirmations / 6 hours and they are still not mature, there's definitely a bug somewhere. Even the smallest transactions in my wallet matures and are occasionally taken out for stake. Are you on a Mac-wallet? I know the Mac wallets have been suffering more than the other wallets. Perhaps the Mac compiler are using some of the types slightly different than the others? A "word" isn't always a "word", and when it comes to "doublewords" they are almost always different. I am also a MAC user, my new transaction has 90 confirmation and my others have more than 4150 confirmation. The wallet is in sync and at block 8342. I get the message that my coins are not mature. I now doubt that waiting for it will change anything. |
