501  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How I Make $5,234Month With Bitcoin - No Trading & Mining on: October 25, 2015, 03:48:57 PM

Has anyone ever bought this video tutorial https://www.udemy.com/how-to-make-money-with-bitcoin/ from udemy and is it really possible to earn this much without trading or mining?

I can see it involves creating your own website as he mentioned in course description which is 99Bitcoins. The video course cost about $200 which I believe can be too much. is this worth?

With the market so quiet for so long i doubt this has been possible.  Maybe when new blood comes in but right now even though the price is going up we dont yet have much excitement, traffic is pretty dead.
502  Economy / Speculation / Re: The new Bitcoin wave is coming. Soon. on: October 25, 2015, 03:44:10 PM
I doubt that bro. I believe in bitcoin but by 2016? I don't think so. We hardly reach $500, how can you be so optimistic? Cheesy Plus, there is a lot to happen in the next months, who knows what price bitcoin will reach.

You can look over past movements, what is different now? while its still alive it goes forward and up. When the govs start fighting it for real will be the deciding moment.
503  Economy / Speculation / Re: This steady rise is gonna continue till halving on: October 25, 2015, 09:34:57 AM
Expect 600 by new year and a new ATH before halving!!!

This current rise doesnt feel that steady, i think the halving will set off the next bubble though.  600 by new year seems really hard to believe but yeah i guess we've been there before so cant be that much a shock.
504  Economy / Speculation / Re: $300 before the end of this day or nah? on: October 25, 2015, 09:16:44 AM
Currently at $289. What do you guys think? Will we be able to break $300 before the day ends or be back at lower levels? Will it be sustainable this time?

Thoughts are welcome.

I dont think today i'd guess 48-72 hours, we've had todays push if it goes up more now wow that would be really bullish.
505  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's a good strategy for playing dice? on: October 25, 2015, 09:11:10 AM
Is there such a thing or does it only depend on good luck?

There are ways you can lose more quickly for sure.  You need luck though since its -ev bets.  Just play for fun.
506  Economy / Gambling / Re: When Will Mourinho Be Sacked? on: October 25, 2015, 09:09:48 AM
I want to bet for Mourinho will be sacked before the 1 half of the season. Is there a bet site offering this bet? (Bitcoin accepted of course)

Mourinho is the best manager in the world if they sack him they are stupid.  The players won the league last season and are lacking motivation.  They need to sell hazard, cesc, terry and any other players who aren't up for the task.  Bring in new hungry players.

I remember winning a football league myself, next season if its the same league you are less bothered.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 25, 2015, 09:06:43 AM
West Ham vs Chelsea i think Chelsea has very good chance to win this match and this match can be under 1.5 goals and ML is really attractive when Chelsea is playing nice at the moment so that i will place my bet on it.

West ham already beaten arsenal at their own home 0-2 , liverpool at their own home 0-3 and manchester city too at etihad 1-2 .
What a great performance against big teams.
Will they beat chelsea today? I will make fun bet on west ham.

Good pick, i was thinking the same thing tbh but didnt get bet on in time whoops.  Today im thinking newcastle is a great shout vs sunderland however a draw also likely.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 24, 2015, 08:10:54 AM
How about this weekend biggest match, derby of Manchester? I'm a fan of Manchester United but I'm not really sure to bet on them even though they will play on their home ground. Their performance is still unstable..
Any advises what to bet?

I'd pick a city win vs united.  Think city will out play them, aguero playing or not could be the key.  He was on the bench for champions league mid week.

511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Cryptocurrencies - Virgin Media on: October 21, 2015, 10:44:12 PM
Listened to this today! Brilliant!

Great work. Also your course on Udemy is very good! One of my projects under development is to help everyday people to enter the Bitcoin world and become more knowledgeable in the monetary system.
Virgin (media?) is one of the most innovatite companies out there... richard branson is... he will use bitcoin someday and will elevate it to heavens.

Think branson already does use it on a personal level judging from him in the media over last couple years. Its likely virgin will be lining up direct acceptance in near future.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly is bitcoin halving? on: October 21, 2015, 10:31:35 PM
I think the price is going to go up after the halving. There was a bit run up in anticipation of the ltc halving too. With more efficient hardware it is going to be interesting!

If litecoin can almost exactly double and hold steady bitcoin has about 3 times the chance for that since its actually a used legit network.  Great example of whats coming.
513  Economy / Gambling / Re: www.chopcoin.io - The new interactive Bitcoin game! on: October 21, 2015, 10:28:05 PM

I would like eternal life and eyes that never degrade to spend a good 5 years full time playing this game.

You added chat? oh fuck i really should not log on to check that, it is just too awesome and i have other work which will never get done. I'll end up a homeless tramp stealing wireless to play or something in 6 months if i log on now.

We'll really hope, it will never get so far that you end up a homeless tramp, but thx for praising us.
The chat is the newest concept, but we are looking foward to larger updates to bring more people to the paid playgrounds which is the main target for our game Wink

We hope you stay a ChopCoin member  Wink

Yeah i will keep checking in but i got a seriously addiction problem with these chopcoin/agar games.

It would be good to get people gambling more for sure, graduating them from faucet upwards via super micro stakes maybe idk. Having people click to buy into games after winning from faucet might prepare them.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly is bitcoin halving? on: October 21, 2015, 10:20:00 PM

All the miners and anyone else in bitcoin's own personal infrastructure is far too invested in bitcoin so when the halving happens 50% of people cant just pull out so the price goes up without fail.  Watch it happen.

So they're going to foot the bill for the price rise that saves them? That doesn't make a whole lot of economic sense. The price ain't gonna rise just because a group of people need it to.

The miners historically dont stop mining, look at litecoin etc also.  So there is less coin available for people to buy on the market daily and the price rises because of that. The miners are committed if not on purpose.  If the demand stays the same the price goes up, 50% of miners dont just leave.  If the demand drops same time as halving that is a different story.
515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly is bitcoin halving? on: October 21, 2015, 08:53:25 PM
So in the speculation board I see posts that says bitcoin price will go up ince the halving occurs. What halving is really? How does it affects the price of bitcoin? Kindly please explain as I don't have any idea what these are. Cheesy

517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Start a Gambling Site on: October 21, 2015, 08:41:05 PM
Hmm.. So basically if I wanted to try and let someone here me out, and only had around, say, 1.5 btc to start out with.. I'd be wasting my time, right?

It means if you want to start a gambling site then you will need huge budget to make it work or you will be wasting your time. Everyone think making gambling site means to get rich instantly but it is not because you need to spend budget and also your time , without that your gambling site will not work

You probably need to offer more than just money and time.  You also likely need to either be very interested in gambling sector or have great experience to gain the needed edge.  Money and time sets the foundations for sure.
518  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: October 21, 2015, 08:37:50 PM
Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.

If i was in early like some of the guys with 10k+ bitcoins i could make it my full time passion and help more.  ATM with a tiny amount of coin i just do what i can to promote and thats probably more than average.
519  Economy / Speculation / Re: $13,000 bitcoins by the end of 2016? $120,000 by 2018? (golden ratio fractals) on: October 21, 2015, 08:34:41 PM
It is not going to happen.  I really wish it would.  But just no.  I am hoping for more realistically of $500 dollars per coin at the end of 2016.  Maybe $800 dollars per coin at the end of 2018.  You never know really but that seems more realistic than the projected 120,000 per coin.

Bitcoin is not gold or housing or whatever other stable type of investment.  Its all or nothing you will see $10k by 2020 or it will be worhtless, its probably 50/50.  Those of us who see the promise are in those who dont are the many and are out.
520  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: October 21, 2015, 08:24:23 PM
If you vote, please state some reasons. I think Russia and China will win because they have more resources, manpower and gold, autocratic leadership.

The elites control the show so im not sure any country really "wins".  Germany dont seem to be doing too bad these days so "losing" a war didnt seem to matter for them much.
