501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: March 10, 2024, 11:29:23 PM
For some people and not all people and the truth is that no matter how good you are with gambling. You can not win every day. And there will be more loses than win except the person is not saying the truth. And I don't even see the reason why I must gamble everyday is not really advisable. Because if you look at the amount your losing while gambling. You suppose to reduce how you gamble. Select the finest of games, not by gambling everyday will make you win. And when your addicted you don't  longer mind the amount used to gamble because all you want is to win.  And there are gamblers that do revenge gambling to that in the process of there loss they will still be getting ready to place another bet and they will continue untill they get liquidated. When it gets to that level then they should get help for them.
It is the fact that we can't win everyday although we are a professional or experienced gambler. We must know the chance to win it everyday is rather impossible. That's why we don't try to expect for earning money regularly from gambling. Most people only want to enjoy gambling game, they focus more on the fun and entertainment. The prize got from gambling will be the second goal for this type of gamblers.

However, I think it is okay that there are people who want to gamble daily. They may want to try their luck in gambling daily. But they must always understand that it doesn't increase the chance to win in gambling. And the people must also commit to use small money only if they want to gamble in each day.

Wagering little amount of money is fine for daily gamblers. Who have in mind of the risk ahead of them when they wager high amount of money. Losing huge amount of money in gambling, is the reason for high rate of addiction. People focus more where they've lost money and hope to win later. It's like a competition and the gambler sworn on winning big someday, before quitting. Yet they forget that big wins, doesn't guarantee a gambler would stop playing. Most often it fuels the zeal to continue gambling, like a high roller.

Thereby reducing, quickly, the gambler's money. Playing every day, also, demands time maintenance, and sticking to the strategy, regardless of the wins. It only buys more time for other days and pays for the game. The player's bankroll gets refilled with those wins. Hence, the gambler can wager with his wins another day, or extend time for a daily session. Remember, the win is a bonus to keep us in the game. No need mismanaging the funds.

502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A call to self-examining our gambling habit. on: March 10, 2024, 11:18:55 PM
It is something that should be done so you know when you’re stepping out of line, but it’s not the case of what is done because people get drowned in the act if gambling that all they ever think is how to stake bigger so they make bigger. They may not even be subconsciously doing it, some people know that the habit is growing in them but the spirit of money overshadows the thought and they keep gambling anyway.
That's very correct and I would like to add that some folks have even zoned out other means of Making money as they see that gambling is the only way out that could help them win that money they are looking for. They are lots of person who can definitely tell when they are going off their habit but still find it very hard to stop the act because they spirit body and soul has been brain washed in thinking that gambling is the one true source of making money.

In that case the gambler doesn't realize he's into trouble or could be endangering his life and financial status. The game isn't for irresponsible gamblers. Staying in line with emotional tolerance, plays a vital role. Gamblers who try the self-examination, will have a better control on themselves. It also depends on the type of questions the player asks and answers by himself. Some players, with an effective question made available, may end up in tears. Good questions help in reviving the thoughts of the gambler, to direct his energy on other aspects of his life which he neglected. When reminiscing on his behaviors as per the questions he answered, feels sorry for his actions. Then the player can begin to act towards becoming a better gambler.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indirect victims of gambling addiction on: March 10, 2024, 11:03:39 PM
But why do people always avoid talking about the good side of gambling, but rather focus on the bad side, e.g whereby a man gambles, lost all his savings and family perish. Why do we always avoid the good angle such as whereby a man through his winning gotten from gambling, he is able to establish business for his wife, buy a new house and live a good life. Why do we always avoid such stories? Because the truth of the fact is that is a man who lacks self-control while gambling, so will he lack self-control while venturing into other things, hence, gambling shouldn't always be the cause when a grown-up man fails to take full responsibility of his own actions.

I don’t think people ordinarily focus more on the negative aspects of gambling. But you would admit that negative aspects of gambling are all over the news with people still being irresponsible with their actions. And with news like this always making the rounds almost all the time, people would quickly forget about the positive aspects and dwell more on the negative ones.
And I don’t think one who lacks self-control in gambling would automatically have same with other aspects of his life. Having self control in gambling doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to have such a trait in other aspects of your life.

Negative news gets the interest of readers, that's the enforcer for the type of gambling news spreading around the society. Lots of positive aspect of gambling is silenced and not discussed. Most people think gambling is all wrong, due to bad publicity. The gambling community have lots of tasks ahead, regarding matters as this, which keeps tarnishing the good image of gambling. I think lots of irresponsible gamblers around the society, contributed to the negative news on gambling. As they get addicted and cause their homes to be sad.

The information circulates, and people would want to know the cause of the problem, gambling would be called. What else do you expect his acquittances to think or say about gambling. Although the good news barely gets discussed, players who won jackpots can, still, end up going broke or addicted. Then making the society think gambling, won't be useful on any account. It also shows that more people get affected by gambling, compared to the impact it has on them, money or skill wise. However, some gamblers have the opportunity to increase their skills through gambling. Skills like critical thinking, is obtainable via gambling. But depends on the gambler's level of understanding.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: March 10, 2024, 05:57:16 PM
If after gambling losses you continue gambling to recover those losses then it will be a wrong decision for you because recovering gambling losses is not an easy task. Because no matter how accurate your predictions are, if you don't have good luck, you will never win at gambling. Gambling is totally dependent on luck so gambling should be used only as a source of income and not as a source of income and should be taken a break from gambling when gambling losses occur.  Then it won't make you too addiction

recovering losses when you are in a stressful position because losing is something that gamblers must avoid. because if they insist on being able to recover their losses by gambling continuously, then their potential to lose more money will be very high. gamblers should be able to restrain themselves and think again to determine whether they want to gamble again or not, because many gamblers have ended up bankrupt when chasing their losses.

The moment a gambler begins to see more losses his first action is to stop for a moment. Think about how much he's lost, if the amount of money in his bank roll is sufficient enough to take him on a next session, he can try wagering bit by bit. But, if deep down, he understands that lots of money has been lost, ending the game for the day is better. Going further to gamble, depending on the house to hand out funds to us, isn't a right technique. Such things have led lots of gamblers to huge debt. While gambling we need to watch out for the money spent in the process. Winning is available in gambling, but we tend to see more losses. Hence, staying careful, not to harness more losses, helps in maintaining the bankroll. However, most gamblers don't accept this type of reaction, chasing loss, because it happens involuntarily. Self-examination builds the gambler's consciousness on his expenses and tries to manage properly his funds, while gambling.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If a addict lives within, which method would you choose to help them on: March 10, 2024, 05:33:57 PM
People who are addicted to something usually want some distance from normal life. They try to keep their distance from those of us who live normal lives and prefer to spend time with people who are in their nature. If it's someone I know or a family member of course I will try to help him but if someone I don't know does this then it's hard for me to help him. Whenever I go to help him with these things, he will come and try to follow my ways without giving importance to my issues. If my friendly neighbor lives like this, I will try to do what I need to do to bring him back to a normal life. I will try to bag the free time with him and try to keep him busy in various sports besides taking him for walks so that he will slowly forget his bad deeds from his brain.

I have noticed, not in most cases, rarely, that an addict gets better when he encounters a painful event. An addict who slept in his room, and woke up, the next morning, in a sick bed will have a rethink. And accept to visit a therapist or get help. Addiction is a sickness, and requires consistent, adequate treatment. The addict undergoes series of pains, best known to him, but can't share his problems, due to stigma, probably. They are not getting the deserved love a sick person is entitled to get.

However, the society careless about such sicknesses, mental illness, and blame the victim. But forget that it could happen to anybody. Nobody is too good, or too bad. Hence, paying visits and assisting an addicted friend by any means possible does a great change to the player's health. Although, as you said, they conceal the pains and make everything look normal. Only a close fellow will understand the difference in his lifestyle.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: March 10, 2024, 05:11:31 PM
Gamblers must respect their financial status, not minding how much money they've got. Whatever that requires money, must have limitation, so as to extend the duration the player enjoys his money. Gambling has no wagering limits, but wealth has its limits. The rich know the limit to their wealth, how much they're able to spend a day, not to run broke again. A gambler who owns millions of dollars, can wager tens or hundreds of dollars, but may not be able to spend a million dollar daily on gambling.

Limitations help both the rich and the poor. No one owns an unlimited money. So, if a rich gambler mistakenly out of reckless gambling, wagers more than he's able to lose, he'd be sad, going home. The risk should be managed according to the amount of money a person owns, and the average gamblers shouldn't go beyond their limits due to the rich gamblers, playing high amounts, and expecting an enormous return. However, gambling requires risk, but it must not be taken for granted because a player feels he's rich.
No matter if they rich or poor, when they want to playing gambling, they must limits their money and time to avoids a big lose from gambling. They must limits their gambling activity because gambling can tempts them to used too much money to gamble. If they lose much money, that's the risks that they gets from gambling so to prevents that lose, they must avoids using a big money to gamble. They can used a big money to gamble, but that is not worth so they must limit their money to gamble to prevents the loss.

Limitations helps all gamblers from the big loss. But not many gamblers knows about that because we see many gamblers still used too big money to gamble because they still thinks that they can make a big win if they place a big bet. They don't think that gives a big risk for them when they place a big bet and that can give big loss. We must responsible to our money we will used to playing gambling so we can prevents the loss and can still enjoys the gambling for fun.
All about limitations, people! You think throwing a lot of money at the table will bring riches? Think again. It's about time, not just money. Every gambler (rich or poor) must draw a line. You heard it: a queue. Unfortunately, gaming doesn't care about your bankroll. It tempts, teases, and takes. Without boundaries, you'll tumble

You play for fun? Great! Enjoyment doesn't pay the bills. Only sensible gambling does. Want a good game tomorrow? Make sure you're not betting the farm today. It's about knowing when to quit, not avoiding taking chances. Big losses are more common than you believe, so don't expect big bets mean big wins. Be wise and keep to your bounds. The game's real

Gamblers require more time to understand how real the game is, and ways to deal with it once they realize this. Players with no limitations, have lots of obstacles to handle. They'll deal with staying broke and paying debts. Financial meltdown drags psychological instability, and Indignation. The gambler perceives his losses, as unfair. And tries to win, through a get back at the casino, mentality. He's far from the truth and have forgotten the root of his actions or decisions. Why he started gambling? the reason he wasn't able to manage, properly, his money.

Treating gambling carelessly, returns a shameful slap on the player. The rick likewise the low rollers are not beyond the gambling boundaries. The brain takes control of a gambler's moves. Stabilizing our emotional tolerance to losses or money, changes the game for any gambler. Not tolerating the fact that casinos are not enforcing or the reason behind the loses, but us, creates a slot of responsibility in a gambler. Thereby, giving him a full understanding what he's into, gambling. Why blame the casino, and not ourselves, as a gambler? Lack of responsibility.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I bet big I lose, but if I bet small I win on: March 10, 2024, 04:44:09 PM
that's the importance of being a wise gambler. that way, we will not fall into gambling games that can actually destroy our finances.
Wise gamblers will definitely be able to think more positively, so they can control themselves when to make big or small bets. because all gamblers definitely don't want to lose
Gamble with appropriate sure odds. Never depend on the system because the volatility is high and winning everyday is never guaranteed. Instead channel your forces of milking the system to a more suitable source, atleast one can be confident of weekly earnings. Think positively and apply the good techniques because it's the opposite way of hitting harder in the system. Gambling is impressive and sound amazing for those that are winning but sounds disturbing for those set of gamblers that are losing.

A loser has no parent, nobody feels good losing money. Gambling shouldn't have been in same level, if people saw it as leisure game. The narrative changed, due to the jackpot, many got rich, transiently, and people thought gambling generates enough money to lead them to financial freedom. Such belief circulated faster, and made gambling famous amongst the society, causing most players to engage in the game for money purposes. Gambling has never been expensive; players have the ability to wager any amount of choice.

A player who is bothered over losing out when wagering big amount and winning with a small amount, should change his thoughts about gambling. As he's no longer in line with the initial or normal purpose of gambling. Reversing to the right technique will revive the thought of the gambler, to understand that gambling or the casino, never have hands in his experience. Such an inconsistent experience shouldn't be delved deeply into, as it's not a big deal. Instead, the outcome, though uncertain, is dependent on the gambler, what, when and where he wagered money.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel excited while gambling on: March 10, 2024, 04:19:22 PM
Taking few naps wouldn't solve the problem and doesn't appear to be a solution for such disputes. I think the rest you are insinuating is a long-term break, or weekly events with family. Players, especially online gamblers, don't care about meeting people and having conversations. Unlike the offline casino players that tend to connect with other gamblers in the table or in the house. The loneliness and isolation of an online gambler, deals with him in silence.

They rarely discuss about their problems, due to the lesser opportunity gambling creates in allowing them associate with family. For a long period. Gamblers do rest, they sleep at night, but that's not enough. Because it's involuntary. Crafting out a meaningful and well thought out voluntary obligation on your gambling activity. Boosts the tendency of bypassing gambling addiction. As the player stays in control, instead of getting pushed around, gambling. Once the control is lost the player faces huge disadvantages.
The irony! In a random world, we teach control. However correct, your point barely scrapes the surface of online gambling's social impacts. Players may dislike family events and conversations? This is sad and a social red flag! Control involves understanding our surroundings and creating obligations. Online gamblers' solitude? It's sickness, not symptom. Although sleep isn't the answer, recommending meaningful engagements outside the digital casino isn't either. Building habits that ward off addiction is important

We differ on opportunities. It lurks on these internet channels, ready to be grabbed. Connecting and communicating, not gambling. The players may not realize it, but society does. We need to stop seeing these platforms as leisure areas and start using them to build community and resistance against addiction

Your response is quality, but not sustainably the right choice for boycotting addiction. Gamblers develop, over time, a countervailing reaction towards their loved ones. In most cases, it's caused by the actions of his family towards his addiction. Most humans are lonely, due to their ego or beliefs that the society doesn't matter, anymore. Same can occur to an addicted gambler, and, also, a sign of addiction in a gambler's behavior. Especially, when he barely stayed alone, as a non-addict.

Video gamers, for instance, who stay alone, get so attached to the game, and never think of visiting a friend. Your last line or paragraph, seem in line, as you said the society does help. If gamblers weren't isolating, they wouldn't have been many cases of addiction. Because, connecting and communicating with the society, will liberate their lifestyle and change them for good. What kind of habit that ward off addiction can be built by an addict, without the help of a person outside the digital casino?
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: March 10, 2024, 03:57:37 PM
Learning about gambling strengthens the precautionary principle of the gambler. Hence it may not affect his gambling result. Although, with experience, we can predict who is going to score in a match. Yet we aren't sure of the outcome. Whether it'll occur or not. The stress feels lesser, when no money is attached. Once money is staked, the person focuses on every move in the game. Uncertainty on the gambler's side, keeps him restless. Due to the uncertain outcome, gamblers tend to bother over what they shouldn't have reasoned. Those endless thoughts on who gets to score first or win the game, derails the emotional energy of the gambler. Hence, developing arguments within his inner self.

Whether it's luck or experience, wagering in a responsibly advanced way, helps in eliminating lots of troubles. Those thoughts aren't worth the money. It removes focus on other means of generating money and place it on the football game and on who wins on not. Practicing it for a consistent period of time, which can look to the gambler, a short period, automatically catapults him into problem gambling. Doing the right thing, helps, regardless of luck. A gambler is meant to tighten his bank roll and review every fund that leaves it.
Seriously? Gambling is complex, but this view simplifies it. Learning doesn't necessarily mean wisdom, especially in gambling. You think knowledge protects? This hardly covers the appeal of quick wins. Seasoned bettors think they're puppet masters but become tangled in the strings

Trying to control chance is a folly. Gamblers' overconfidence, not skill, shows in every bet. Misfocused attention is a trap. The actual game is outside the bet; in the economy, society, and squandered opportunities. Not simply tightening the pocketbook, but opening the mind. Wake up! Diversify interests, not bets. Real personal and financial growth is beyond gambling

Gambling, individually, possesses a unique result. Holding on to one part of gambling for every gambler, doesn't simplify the complexity of gambling. Not every reader isn't wise. Most gamblers who research, apply the knowledge to gambling. And hardly get into problem gambling. The best gambling knowledge remains being able to manage funds. Fine, generating the money is superb, and a compulsory technique. But wasting the funds on gaming, is a foul. The gambler will end up regretting his actions.

Hence, understanding, in full, the zeros and one of gambling is excellent. Focusing on making money outside gambling, with no prior preparation on strategies to safeguard the funds while gambling, remains, in my jurisdiction, a wasted effort. Diversifying interest is crucial in restoring the psychology of the player. A player isn't meant to focus only on gambling. However, whenever he's into gambling, observing his moves is more crucial. As a lost money may not be won, again.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does possessing information play an important role in betting ? on: March 10, 2024, 03:28:25 PM
Having a lot information is better than gamble randomly without any information, but both of them doesn't influence the results as long as you're not the player, not the coach, or anyone who contribute to the player/team.

I don’t think you really need to be among the staff, players or coaching team to be able to know or try to correctly predict the outcome of a game.
With the right and adequate information being placed in the right hands, the outcome could be predicted and quite correctly too. But sometimes in football, even with the right information and conditions, the outcome could come out not like the way it was predicted or planned but it also doesn’t negate the effectiveness of having the right and adequate information.

Gambling information is effective in terms of limitations, when to start and stop. Sport betting seem to have a truck load of information available for everyone to read, yet a lot lose out in the game. Whatever we read on news blog about a match, only builds the information rate on the game, but can't help in knowing who wins or not. Games can't be predicted, unless one is opportune to work alongside coaches or top managers. Where I think the fixed games sold to gamblers are derived.

Some get the real and genuine predictions, and others don't. Hence, even with the help of the inner players, the game can change while in the pitch. Reading up on the importance of gambling strategies save up money for a gambler. Thereby, creating available for fresh wins, in future or presently. Depending on the playing strategy of the gambler, and how much he wagers.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this ever happened to you as a gambler? on: March 10, 2024, 03:11:31 PM
It happens to the physical casinos, someone will approach you randomly and you totally don't know that stranger will ask you to buy their thing because they've lost.

It's a normal scene and you already know the reason why they'd do that.
Yes, that happens to someone who loss much money but he wants to continue playing gambling. He asks someone to buy his thing in a cheap price so he can have money and playing gambling to trying to recover his losses.

That's a bad thing that people must avoid because that will not gives them a chance to gets their stuff/thing back. They don't knows that continue playing gambling can makes them losing more money. It's better they stops and leaves the casino to prevent the next losses. The situations will become worst if they want to continue playing gambling because their minds will not thinks about the losing they gets.

Multiple factors affect a gambler's brain to act this way, although most people would tag it addiction. It's a symptom, especially when the gambler begins to sell his property to generate money. But the major factor is the expectations gamblers have within, before gambling. They, before gambling, already think the game will fetch or add more money to their resources. Once, that has been instigated on the player's brain, he wouldn't stop gambling, unless satisfied with a sustainable win. Continuously endangering the situation, by participating constantly in the act will lead to addiction.

The reaction can as well be exhibited by non-addicts, in unexpected days. You could see them leaving the casino wearing a frowned face. Due to their expectations not being met, the gambler doesn't feel comfortable leaving the casino with no money. Which he may have budgeted on other expenses. Another factor is lack of gambling orientation. Naive players want to get wealthy via gambling and solve their financial issues. They are not told how gambling operates. The player sees himself chasing wealth with no sign of success.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: March 10, 2024, 02:52:46 PM
It is totally random and it is not going to have anything that would be related to goodwill or anything like that. It's purely regards to randomization and nothing more, every provably fair gambling game out there has that randomizer in their system and that ends up being one of the most important ones, so it is going to end up being an important part of it. I realize that it is not that easy, but it should definitely be considered one of the few important parts of it without a doubt.

I guess that there are some people who wanted to see something beneath all of that, but it doesn't really have it, it's gamblers fallacy and nothing more than that, so having that type of understanding would not help you at all if you look further.

The standard system of a casino has no external interference from outside source like Op claims. Casino machines have been designated to work alongside the house edge, as you mentioned. The arrival of a good result can't be predicted, but things may occur differently, and the winner will accept that his friend influenced the result. However, it'll sound weird to other listeners, including the appreciated person. Those thoughts erupt in form of joy, and happiness tagged to similar reaction we had on the arrival of a friend.

But the gambler fails to forget the days he lost money, and other times when he won without the presence of his friend. People believe different things and don't care what others will say regarding their belief. Yet, looking at gambling in a more sincere perspective, nothing works adequately, like it may have been painted by other gamblers. Hence, discussing this as a proven fact, the process needs to be tried repeatedly, again and again, you'd notice the whole belief will end up as false.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you won a bet with your last cash? on: March 09, 2024, 10:08:52 AM
Often we face situations like this and sometimes everything goes well or vice versa. I think luck is just a moment and it's up to you how you react to it. Falling too far will only make you miserable and when things aren't going well then it's best to start quitting. Luck with the last money always comes at any time and I often experience it too. But after that we usually can't last any longer because our gambling hunger is increasing.
Luck will be our hope to win in gambling but we can't always see the luck comes to us when we playing gambling. If we can win using the last cash, that will be our luck because luck comes in the last cash and gives us the win. Maybe the amount of our winning is not too big but we must remember that we can win because of luck. Some gamblers already have this experiences but we can't always hope that experience will always comes to us because we will difficult to predict or knowing when our luck will comes. Many times we lose our money in the last cash because our luck is not comes so we can't feel sadly because this is gambling that we can't predict easily. We can only have fun in playing gambling and don't have thinks much about winning.

In many occurrences it's alarming how people win big on their last wager. The person due to the fun, doesn't think of stopping, unless determined. This rarely happen, and players do lose their last cash. Although it shows a strong urge to take the last shot, yet gamblers need to review the risks. What happens next after winning or losing the game, should be an embraced question for every gambler, who intends to take this step. Will he have to trek, long distant, before he gets home. Or wager his wins again, till it exhausts, or go home with enough funds to take a ride. Those are three different occurrences attached to such a prediction. The player needs to show he's ready to face the obstacles. When the last cash wins money, what will it bring to the gambler? More stress or rest? Gamblers are troubled with lots of factors, making it difficult for a gambler to stay steadily aware of what could happen with him and his funds.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Support, do not criticize. on: March 09, 2024, 09:56:50 AM
The support of family and friends is essential to help in the treatment of a person who goes through this type of addiction, and certainly criticizing is not a good thing as the process to "deconstruct" the addiction and develop healthier habits is quite long, it has relapses and also awakens many negative emotions in the person trying to recover. So, a criticism or word that is said badly will certainly make this recovery much worse.

But I still believe that support from family and friends alone is not enough, no matter how good their intentions are... in addition to them needing to be very careful with what they say and also patient, they should encourage the addicted person to seek professional psychological assistance to avoid relapses or replace this addiction with a worse one such as alcohol, cigarettes or illicit drugs.

Family shapes the life of anybody and causes or improves any development that occurs in a person's life. Family is almost all we've got and the society. When those people help out during a period of trouble, we tend to adhere to treatment faster than ever. But their absence only stresses the gambler and puts him into a bad financial shape. And suffering his ego, about himself, and being the man of the family. Gamblers shouldn't get degenerated due to gambling. They need to understand and follow a good instinct on money management and self-control. Wagering money can't be the only financial responsibility of a gambler.

Looking into other aspects of life, fixes the home of anybody, including a gambler. Neglecting those responsibilities, births, misunderstanding in the family. The problem or downside on the person's family, which I attribute to business and work, is that many don't observe the behavioral change of those around them. Addiction arrives with symptoms that increases to a high stage if not attended to while it's fresh. If a home cares so much about their ward, once they begin to finalize a change in his character, they should begin a therapy session with the person. While he still has some self-control left. It helps a long way.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: March 09, 2024, 09:44:04 AM
I acknowledge your good will stories, and others you've written. The article seems to have diverted from gambling to a superstitious believe or if a soothsayer is able to influence gambling results. However, I don't know, but the house is not complaining, as it causes lesser troubles, and doesn't reduce their daily income. Hence, not all gamblers are lucky to have you around. If the world had lots of people with similar characteristics, the gambling niche wouldn't have existed, due to numerous losses. Good luck to your friend, and the people you've helped using your gift, win in gambling. But, practically speaking, and giving a straight up answer, without being biased, I think such thing doesn't exist. People tend to forget about themselves and focus on what they believe. That's why when you attack what they believe, they feel as though they were directly attacked. It's all about the way one thinks, traditionally. Desires they say spreads like a plaque. When people begin to desire those believes about you, it spreads and appear as though it's real. My opinion.

You need rest too, it seems. Gambling sometimes makes something about us a little worse, and sometimes makes it a little better. We cannot always receive positive effects, because our money wins and losses always alternate.

When you have the worst day of your life, you will feel sick of all your bets. No wins, emotions worsen, money runs out. Yes, that's the right time to take a break. It can take a matter of days or weeks to restore your positive mood.

Certainly, Gambling is all about luck. All of the gambling-addicted people might be able to win gambling. Win depends on fate. Few people will be able to win with their deep knowledge of gambling. Most of them will fall in defeat for their light knowledge about gambling or their greed will be the main victim of their loss. So, you will be a lucky gambler, if you utilize your previous vast loss.
Everyone can experience victory in gambling, the only difference is big and small. Learning about certain games can indeed increase your chances and increase your enjoyment when gambling. It is possible that by learning this, a gambler will get lucky more often. It's true, many of the gamblers we encounter are greedy, so the profits they get will run out again at the same time. Of course, by learning from experience, a gambler will have good control over greed and want to win continuously.

Nice idea! Showing them a someone who ruined by gambling might give them an intrusive thoughts once they are alone, or maybe it will help them to think and to admit that they are a gambling addict. Usually, An addict person always deny to theirselves that they are having an addiction because they knew in themselves that before they started gambling, they told themselves that they would not be like other people whose lives were ruined by gambling. They are usually indenial but if you ever show them or give them an example, that will really make them think.
Nice idea indeed! It is like showing a chain smoker a pack of cigarette where they drew and wrote horrible things about smoking, he will laugh at you and told you that he saw and read those things before opening the packet to take a stick. That is how strong addiction can be. Until an addicted gambler come to the realization that the addiction is a problem that he need to solve, all efforts at stopping him will not produce the desired result. One of the fastest way out of addiction is sense of responsibilities. One way of achieving this is if the gambler is single, advice him or her to get married, this way responsibility can lead to a slow down in gambling. Apart from this, my effort will go more into making the gambler know that there is a problem and when that is established, we can start looking for solutions.

People adapt to treatment differently and addiction, like gambling, doesn't have an adequate healing method for everyone. No theory, whatsoever, have learned deeply on gambling addiction and figured a method to heal an addicted player, regardless of his compliance to treatment. Here, unlike other sickness, the player has to comply to treatment. If he doesn't want to get healed, then all effort is a waste, he wouldn't. This triples the difficulty of healing a gambling addicted person. Addicts don't control the impulse to choose carefully what they want.

Same mistake they make while gambling, not knowing when to stop, gambling recklessly, etc., also affects their life decisions. He may not accept the responsibility that is on him, and still, endanger the safety of his home. I think before moving forward to your idea, a good one, the player need to be free from addiction. Giving him a family, he doesn't want can move his addiction from bad to worse.  I think everyone should decide about what they want in life. While we sit back and watch them execute their choices. Whenever, they need help, being there for their safety will be acknowledged.

Yes, addiction ignorantly gets to gamblers, and the player stays, ignorantly, in addiction. Self-examining questions, helps in reviving the gambler's thoughts. Thereby recuperating the brain and his inner conscience on the newly developed ignorant behavior. Hence, the sleeping part of the brain, gets awaken, to fix the problem. When we are not reminded of a burning food in the kitchen, while watching a sweet TV show, the food burns to ashes, and we wouldn't perceive the smoke.

The brain can focus on something and sleep other neurons that should alert it on a newly developed problem. Doing the self-examining questions alone, is helpful, but extending to close friends, works faster in building interrelationship and hearing other people's thoughts or perspective regarding your gambling lifestyle. What changed? Who got hurt? such things may not be noticed by the gambler, like a third party. Since gambling addiction needs extra healing hands, gamblers should rely on the responses from trusted friends or family.

Guys, do you often feel like me? when I raise the bet I lose and when I lower the bet I win. Does the casino system/algorithm know the betting patterns we make? So often when we bet big we are given a loss and when our bet is small we actually win, which is very annoying

I don't know if this applies to all games or not, but I feel like this often when playing table games. What do you think?

It could be that your unlucky or cause of the platform your using, not not platforms are genuine in their dealings so you need to be careful, I personally stake high and go for small odds to decrease my chance of winning, I'm just going for the doubles or triples on my stake.

I don't think Op consistently, time without number, face such dismay. It happens, yet the casino may not influence the decision. The player made the choice, and the result happened to be opposite. Blaming it on the casino, won't improve the gambler's behavior, regarding his encounter. Although, it appears that not all gamblers deal with this, specific, problem. But once a while it happens, and I've experienced the pain, regret, or self-doubt, it may erupt on the gambler's brain.

Hence, trying to decay his emotional strength, until he can't control his actions anymore. Thereby, releasing a new behavior that'll push the gambler to balance his strategy. Playing for a long period, taking risks, till they feel the problem has been solved. Not all gets to fix this, due to the irregularity of the problem, most people, end up addicted before settling the issue. Whatever unfamiliar experience that is encountered while gambling, should be adequately straightened out, and fixed. Before it gets to a bigger fight.
