501  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What thread can earn newcomers merit on: December 15, 2023, 08:29:02 PM
We all know the beginning stage is not easy as a newcomer needs to be patient. Atleast he or she should be getting no matter how little some reward for their resources in terms of time and materials.
I joined the forum and all I told some people around me about it, the next question is," how much have u earned", I was absolutely discourage as I remained mute till date.
What the heck's wrong with you?? Okay.. you wanna pretend you didn't know we've got threads that can possibly earn you a few merits on application? If no, then what's your subject topic saying?.. tchhh

secondly, I don't even think you know what merit is, and with that, I don't even think you read your way through the forum properly..... Did anyone ever tell you that merit is been put in your local accounts and you withdraw them like money?? Then what's this story you're telling us?
LISTEN TO ME; next time, if you wanna ask questions about how you could earn some few bucks in here, be plain.. else you're just gonna make everyone assume you as a shitty-head poster...and that's what you look like to me.

I'm referring to all the scheming, conniving, alt-accounting, merit-groveling weasels that are anything but honest and only here to extract as much wealth from as many different sig campaigns and bounties as they can get themselves into.
Okay... This is exactly what came into my mind when I first read the update... These guys ain't even planning on relinquishing, talkmore of creating a pathway for them pegans? They be like - this is made easy and I think it's time to pull through security cameras ain't watching no more... Shitt!!  Well, I'm not totally discouraged since the rules gotta stuck them up!!... What's the whole purpose of farming several accounts? Signatures... What's the toughest conditions ? Not joining a signature for about 2years.lol..

I think that a ban on wearing a signature will cool down scammers, and those people who were banned for an accidental or innocent mistake will return here.
No. It's only a perma-ban that serves a scammer outrightly. For the rest of the people you describe, they'll have a chance.
If it happens to be an account-farmer, they probably would have flooded the thread with as many banned accounts as possible in the hope at least one would be saved and with that (even with the conditions of being unbanned) the hope of joining a signature campaign in the future. The fact it did not happen seems strange.
it'll happen in a way that META would become fully of shitty, spammed and unmatchable requests...This is what I fear for.  I knew JollyGOOD wouldn't just agree to something bad.

Uhmmmm.... y'all mean Theymos didn't know about Bitcoin at the time the forum was created? I'm tryna believe this RN honestly...yeah, I thought he came in the early days but was atleast a part of the creation plan or whatsoever - maybe that's why he was made an ADM? Or maybe it's a plot twist for me.

I actually knew about Bitcoin as a digital currency; it wasn't a broad knowledge as I never knew anything about the technical part of it.. I was referred by a friend and a business partner with the sole purpose of getting to broaden my knowledge.. it was after about 6 months, when I recovered from my prolonged illness that I realized they never knew about sig campaigns at first.

504  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn merit as a Newbie? on: December 14, 2023, 10:04:06 PM
I couldn't find the details about how to earn merit as a newbie, and how to earn sMerit, I think this information is not here in this forum. I understand making useful posts will earn merit but what it means?
There are alot of informations in here on how to earn merits.. it's never a big deal for potential members though. It's been made easy this days as we've got so many merit- sharing threads; all you gotta do is create a posting pattern that you're basically known for - and try to develop it with everything you learn on a daily...(cryptowise)

It's imperative to read and learn to adhere to the rules in here; you may work all you want to get merited, but when you bypass the rules, your stay becomes limited in here.

505  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do we spam on: December 14, 2023, 09:59:09 PM
Why do we spam?? Are you asking to know cause you feel spamming is a better option to gain recognition or what?.. I don't get..
do we think that spamming have any important effects to our account or its something that is being done intentional or unintentional, do we think from the theory of personification
it's definitely done intentionally in most cases - any account that's tagged with spamming under proper scruntiny would definitely have a whole bunch of other accounts behind it...but, I was a bit lost here; what do you mean by the theory of personification?

Quote
So I think that majorly the people that spam mostly is people that is controlling a numerous of account's and whenever they have a different account's they start writing a low quality post
I consider this particular post as nothing way better than what you decribed in the context; so can I safely ASSUME that you've got several accounts on board? Which could be the reason why you write post that are badly constructed, without any insight?? ....You don't just base your objections that way...

Bitcoin as payment option for clients
Well... I don't wanna discourage you but,. You'll definitely find that difficult- especially in the current BTC volatility and prove action.. you may end up losing at the end.

1. How can the transaction process be optimized for maximum security?
Your security depends on your stability and subconsciousness; Bitcoin network is secured... whatever happens would definitely be from your ends.
Quote
2. What metrics are available for measuring transactions?
measuring transaction??  Everything you'd wanna know about the fees( if that's what you call metrics) is available on the mempool.

3. Which wallet is the best to safeguard my funds and ward off con artists and hackers?
cold wallets are the most advisable ways to store your coins...paper wallets would also do alot of good too... Since you're trading with it on a daily, you'll also need a centralized exchange.

In a situation where the both spouse are gamblers. Husband gambles, wife gambles, how can both of them manage the situation in terms of finance and the family affairs especially when children are now involve so that the time both spends on gambling doesn't affect family moments and affairs in general.
why would anyone wanna stick to gambling especially when they've got kids that'll definably copy them as role models...? Personally,I think there are supposed to be restrictions to whatever a parent would do in Thier kid's presence.. if not, you shouldn't blame them for adopting any attitude in the nearest future.. secondly, a woman wouldn't gamble excessively like a man would do..
Quote
Would it help if  one of the couple quit for the other and if that's the case who should quit for who.
To me, I'd say it's not necessary for anyone to quit... It all depends on the net income that's made through the family's resourcefulness..

Just trying to get the communities opinion based on their experience about the topic.
Personally, a a bettor, I find it very stressful when watching the game you are betting especially if it will end up a losing bet.
if you find it stressful and unpleasant to watch games that you've wagered already, why do you think anyone else should feel better?? No one wants to lose... I personally prefer watching games with having any current stakes...
Quote
If we have the same experience, how do you cope up with that problem, after all, gambling should be fun but why we have this kind of feeling that we feel disappointed when our bet loses?
How fun is it when you lose your money?? What gives hope to y'all gamblers would be the potential wins you see on your tickets; is it gonna cut? Nobody knows...!!

Why would he run into a suicidal option just for losing to a casino?... Nobody asked him to wager on games innit; even though he made the worst decisions to do so, committing a suicide wasn't the best options to have taken at that point... I understand that sometimes, he's not even the rightful owner of money he spent; so at that point, karma cuts up with him and he starts getting the repercussions of his deeds right away - cus definitely, he's gonna think of means to pay back and sometimes, there are impossibilities to that...

I pity for him and I also stand to oppose any means of making or spending money that'd prolly push anyone into depression or suicide.

You speak Like you know nothing about gambling, to be very honest with you... There are no specificities to which type of games you could possibly try this strategy... Does this imply that it works with all type of games?.. I don't think so...

Take a look at the soccer Virtual games ; 5 odds can't even give you a win on a streak... It'll definitely turn out for atleast 3 on every new week. Live gamings would be an exceptions though.

Go back home or close your laptop once your time is up, and wait for the coming day, go back to your daily life and business, chase your goals using your business and invest more money on assets.
what's the point of chasing your goals when you've scheduled some of your time into spending money incessantly which could be a starting point for whatever dreams and goals you have?.. have you even seen any business or job coming into actualization without proper capitalist planning?... It's just senseless to say you'd be able to gain discipline by making your speculations on scheduled timings and also going about your usual job and future plans... "Whatever a man findeth pleasure in, there is his money"

We've got so many trusted casinos in here and I wouldn't wanna place one over another, when the trust score doesn't say so...

likes of duelbit
Roobet
Rollbit
Trustdice
Fortune jack
Stakes
Blackjackfun
Winz etc..
I personally don't think there should be a motivation for peeps in here to hop on sites that are not approved and flagged (positively)... I don't..

This strategy would actually workout but you also need to consider the fact that doubling your stakes could also create an opportunity and increase the possibilities of having your wins more quickly..

gambling with %1 of your bankroll and income could possibly be an evenue to instil discipline in you; sometimes, indiscipline and carelessness could be the only thing you need to make it cut!

514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers should not believe in first game win trap on: December 12, 2023, 09:59:46 PM
It's a scheduled raffle...; It'll drop on your ticket Id today and would eventually drop for another tomorrow... It doesn't have to be yours everyday (especially for virtual gamings).. so If a one-time win can eventually convince anyone to keep gambling, then it means that your winnings were just given to you to keep the frequency - I can't call that a win for you cus you're definitely gonna spend them and lose everything without a doubt.
I don't believe in such myths, but winning and losing are part of gambling. It is not true that it is a trap, but perhaps it is considered a trap because some gamblers start to get addicted after the first win.
wait ... Cut it, Cut that shit up!! Losing is a myth to you? Seems you've got a different lexicon to the regular ones that defines the word "MYTH" in a different sense ... Cause what's this??

515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logic of some gamblers against math on: December 12, 2023, 09:57:48 PM
Hi guys. Someone will explain to me why gamblers have such a strange logic: if a gambler has received a huge multiplier, then he will not withdraw this money. And he will continue to play, saying, "if I'm so lucky, I'll be lucky again now."
But according to the laws of mathematics, the chance of such luck becomes much less, doesn't it?
To become an irresponsible gambler, rather than a successful one, you've got to be really sentimental; gamblers have got one grand rule, and I think they didn't make this rule themselves - I think this rule was made by the casinos themselves to motivate and rekindle every gambler's urge to win, when they know too well that the possibilities of this happening is barely 2/10.. however, some gamblers have got to discover this "trickery" and they've learnt to evade them by some grand "mastery" of abstinence or predetermined bankrolls per week, month or annum.
Sandra; to me, I feel this are peeps I could eventually term as professional gamblers...

I can't wrap my head around how your caption correlates with your context... Why's that? I don't even think it does...

This man hasn't given full details as to what happened between him and his favourite casinos; how he's got his name flagged in Thier system and how he's been banned to not win more than $200... I think he's gone against the general T/Cs of the gambling commission and probably, his IP and credentials have been reported to the commission by the casinos involved...

I ain't got that time and resources to spend on gambling this period (assuming I gamble).. I don't think any sane person would... Well, to some point, some peeps would feel this is exactly the season they'd make a whooping cash outta some casinos... Sometimes, it's not the case anyways... Don't you also think the casinos are up to gathering up some funds to enhance Thier Christmas bonuses too?...

The truth is; you can't dabble with this casinos - the chances of winning evenly for every casino player isn't guaranteed.

I don't regret knowing about gambling... I don't think I do... Why? Cus why should I? I don't gamble anyways so for that reason, I ain't seeing that as an influence already...

I like the fact that I've known about gambling and it's intricacies already without wasting a dime on it - cus in life, what you fail to learn unconditionally today would cost you alot of pain and resources to learn tomorrow... I worked as a cashier way back and I've learnt alot from that already....none of my children would dare gamble.

That's one of the lamest ideas you'd ever wanna give to some gamblers in here... Okay,.. let's say you deposited and wagered about $500 on some odds, and then it cuts; do you not have to withdraw your funds just to avoid making too many transactions? How do you cope in situations like this?? - if the most reckless gamblers would rather stake thier houses without any assurance to win, but the still do... How much more for a regular gambler that could possibly hit his early luckdays?
Note: if you don't wanna take the risk to including payment of high fees just to fund your crypto wallets, stop gambling!

What aspect of sports betting or casino gambling posed an initial challenge for you when you first started, but which you eventually grasped? How did you finally understand it. Did a friend explain it, did you watch a YouTube video, participate in a sports betting community on social media, or did you figure it out through a trial-and-error approach?
I don't gamble but the first aspect of sport betting that drew my attention - and at some point, I started seeing it as an opportunity for regular gamblers to keep their stability is the "draw" options...halftime draws, quatertime draws, 10, 15 and 20 minutes draws...I also fancied the overconers too but after sometime, I realized that most of the options that are most probably gonna play won't be included ...

well... For sports betting, it might not actually be the case anyways..
