501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the definition of a Gambler? Do you consider yourself as a Gambler? on: January 29, 2024, 01:43:53 PM
This is one of the reasons you don't expose yourself as a gambler, don't try such in my country, once you are a gambler that's been sighted by people you will forever be a gambler in their mind, even if you quit later it changes nothing.

I prefer online gambling because of this, my father warned me about gambling and as a responsible gambler I kept it a secret, no one knows that I do gamble and sometimes I even advice against gambling to my nieces, because I doubt they can handle gambling like I do, I don't want to see them getting addicted.

It's not safe and I get by because I know how to get by without getting addicted, I am scared for myself and I sometimes thing about my decision, asking myself if I am doing the right thing or not, this is called awareness, many gamblers can't judge their decisions, they won't know if they are doing everything wrong.
502  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is addiction bad only when it is a problem? on: January 29, 2024, 12:05:46 PM
It's already a problem to be addicted to anything, that's your massive weak point which can hurt you in any way, even people can take advantage of you knowing that this is what you are addicted to, someone who is addicted to alcohol can be easily poisoned by a bottle of beer, I can't even count how many friends of friends have been eliminated by poisoned beer.

Not all addiction involved crime, but they are all bad, just because it is not involving any crime doesn't mean it's safe to continue, you as a human must not be too addicted to anything, even if its food you will hurt yourself, you can't be addicted to water either, too much water can affect you too, because too much water can cause fluid toxicity.

What addiction is considered safe? I don't see any, that's why I always consider everything as not free in this world, you can't sit at one place all day without backfiring, you can't stare at the screen all day and weeks without damaging your eye, they will get weaker faster, what is actually free in this world? Nothing.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is nothing like it since the past 12 years on: January 29, 2024, 10:09:02 AM
OP, you've been through a lot. But you probably won. Your motivations could be somewhat shorter. Just invest in bitcoins, but you shouldn't skimp on your health. Otherwise, the time will come when your health will ask you for a very expensive bill.
Investments in Bitcoin should not be on the last dollar. Try for a while to find a source of income as an additional job, so as not to spoil your young, but, apparently no longer entirely healthy body.
It already did, I had so many appointment with my Doctor in 2022, something I am even feeling ashamed to share on here, most things went wrong in my body system, the Doc said I took a big risk for so long, and he said it will also take me a long time to fully recover again, I have indeed spend a lot of money on medication.

Now I believe that what we do today with our body will later show itself years later, it's like a debt that needs to be paid whether you have the money or not, I am fully ok now, I was told to do some exercise daily and also take some supplement to return some dead missing vitamins back to my body.

I will never advice anyone to do the same thing that I did, it was a risk I took that could have cost me my life, if anyone is struggling now I will advice them to find a job and start making some money first before even thinking about investing any penny.

Thanks for the advice @Lovesmayfamilis
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2 years old kids alone at home for hours, while the father goes gambling on: January 29, 2024, 09:12:55 AM
Shit happens, I am wondering why this man doesn't gamble using his smartphone in his home, maybe he is one of those old uneducated people in the world? As there are many like them that can't even operate a smartphone, they don't know what login using email and password feels like.

I am suspecting that the family relatives don't know that this man is a gambler, if not, they won't want to leave a kid for him to watch after, but now the secret is out since police is already involved, I feel pity for the uneducated people the most, if such people are into gambling I doubt they will be able to reason or think hard on anything, they will easily become an addict due to the heavy lack of knowledge.

Gambling addiction is really a big problem, one have to be a very disciplined person to be a very careful gambler, gambling isn't for everyone to be honest, but since casinos lack any form of screening before gambling, everyone is at risk of doing the stupid things in a casino.
505  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 What's Your Top Pick for Crypto Casinos in 2024? Share & Discover Hidden Gems on: January 28, 2024, 10:33:06 AM
TGcasino? Cloudbet? Your list is a total joke to be honest, that TGcasino is a brand new one how can someone picked that as the best casino in 2024 when we are just starting the year? I don't even have one yet because this year is just starting and I have not even gamble at all in this month of January 2024.

I do have top picks but they are based on my last year experience not this new year yet, the first one is Stake and the second is Fortune Jack, mind you, this is my own judge from the experience I've seen so far, there are many good picks that are worth mentioning, like RollBit and Roobet.

As time do goes on, my preferred casinos can change, and since the year is just starting up maybe new things can happen, who knows? So I will leave my answer for this year 2024 for the later.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: January 28, 2024, 09:00:54 AM
You are dancing on fire if you see gambling as a means to your financial problem, you are only waiting to get burnt, trust me, it will happen.

The fact is you can't beat a casino, if you are going to ever get lucky, believe that casinos always win and play safe first, use what you can afford to lose, if you have a financial goal start learning a reliable skill online or offline.

Start looking forward to invest part of your money in crypto assets or just Bitcoin, this will change your life for better than relying on gambling, engage in gambling only with your spare money.
507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When I'm emotional, I LOSS! on: January 28, 2024, 07:31:27 AM
For some people, been emotional makes them so powerless and there is nothing they can do about it, for such people I advice them to either get discipline or quit gambling, I believe the reason why I am always in control of myself when gambling is because I don't have any emotional feelings in gambling, many people are embracing gambling but for me I am scared of the disadvantages of gambling.

The chances that gambling can break you is higher than the chances that gambling can make you, understanding gambling is understanding it's risks too, this will make you erase any desires and emotions towards gambling, if you don't expect any financial breakthrough when gambling you will become disciplined and risk the true amount you can afford to lose.

So many people are far from reality that's why they can't be disciplined when gambling, they want the impossible dreams from the impossible channels even when the chances are too slim.
508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is nothing like it since the past 12 years on: January 28, 2024, 06:15:44 AM
I'm a little bit confused with your story. You had no job but you were already investing, "gathering some Bitcoin for long term hold"? How did you do that? Where did you get the money?

And then you were wretched, looked old even if you were still young, and you even eat single meal a day, but you were living with your parents? How could you feed yourself when you have no source of income? And why should you look after your stomach and couldn't eat 2 or 3 times a day when you're living with your parents?

Anyway, thanks for pointing out that you "can't advice anyone to do the same today." I agree. I advice anybody to live a good life. If the price to pay for that is to have no Bitcoin, it's still worth it.

Thanks for asking, I used every source possible back then, from pocket money to online jobs like pay to click, I even did a lot of faucet claiming too, just like many people on this forum.

There was also a time where I won some good amount of Bitcoin from Freebitco when it was still very new, it's been a long time, I joined few HYIP websites, I also did few free lancing jobs then, I included my parent especially my father because I don't feel the tiger parenting from their side, he supported my journey and he was very understanding, I bet I've posted something related to this before.

509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / There is nothing like it since the past 12 years on: January 27, 2024, 01:33:18 PM
I don't know who needs to hear this, I had no job when I started gathering some Bitcoin for long term hold, I looked wreteched for few years, I eat single meal per day, I looked old at a young age, like those who don't want me to carry on my BTC journey used to tell me, but in the end it all went well, where did I get my conviction? I had no other means to have a better future than this, it was like a do or die something for me then, something inside me just appreciate the existence of BTC, like I know something like it was coming to safe me, which I can't advice anyone to do the same today.

What I am saying here is that it's still doable if you have the conviction to make things happen, if you crave for changes you will go any lent to make things happen in the right manner and ways, but having a source of income will make things more easier for you, I still considered my story as a easy one because I had my father then, I had a roof over my head in my parents home, and also I don't pay any bills, it was just me and my stomach to feed and my BTC wallet to fill up.

For someone who came from poor home it will become a very big battle to conquer poverty, and for those who come from average or rich home, it becomes easier for them to have a better future because they will have more money to take risks, if you are from a home like mine, you need to strive hard, my battle took me three years, if I have never know Bitcoin and I decided to take the path that everyone in my country was into it would have been harder for me, judging from the present conditions of those who almost stopped my Bitcoin journey, I am not shaming anyone, I am just saying that Bitcoin is worth every shot.

Because since the past 12 years, there is no investment that does it better than Bitcoin, you can't find anything like this anywhere else, it's worth every fight and hustle, but your journey will be way easier if you have a source of income, don't give up, always give your best short, you are on the right path.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gamblers do retired betting gambles on: January 27, 2024, 12:12:57 PM
There are two problems here.

Most gamblers have problem moving away from gambling after they make life changing money, and for such people they can still lose all their richness back to gambling, it's a blessing if you can win and gently walk away from gambling to establish your life for the greater future sake.

A gambler who have the mindset to make it in gambling before even starting could eventually get addicted, remember they have a goal to retire using gambling? It's not a safe plan and it can easily mess you up, you will easily be depressed if you fail to achieve your goal by gambling.

The safest thing is to not dream of anything with gambling, just have some fun like you use to do when you visit a cinema with your man or woman or friends, if you are the next gambling millionaire it will happen, it's probably part of your fate, but don't bet on it, risk only what you can and be a realistic.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to win a game given to you in the dream? on: January 27, 2024, 09:38:39 AM
The funny thing about this question is that I have never for once had such dream before, even if I do I doubt I would have enough courage to try it out, it sound ridiculous to see a lottery number in my dream and place some bets on it.

It's not impossible but for me it can never happen to someone like me, I have heard rumors about dreams that do come to light but I don't have such power, I called it rumour because it has never happen to anyone around me, and seeing is believing, we only heard about the rumour but no single person come forth and say that they had such experience before.

I have seen someone that I always pray that they don't dream about me, this person is a family and she has this gift of dreaming about what could happen in future, if she dreams about somone dying, it will happen, but turning into millionaire in gambling through your dreams is something that's not been proven in my circle.
512  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaMask Crypto Casinos on: January 27, 2024, 08:44:56 AM
OP, you can't be so concerned about the metamask acceptance on online casinos without the safety part, what are you doing? There are scam casinos on your list and it doesn't matter if they accept metamask only, you have some cleanup to do on that website.

As a matter of fact, there is no casino that's branded as a metamask casino, if any platform or casino is accepting metamask connection it will work with other web 3 wallets too, either by WalletConnect or Direct.

If a online casino is not available on this forum you need to be careful, you have a load of traffic on that website, and with scams available in those casinos it's not safe, you will eventually lose credibility when one or more people fall victim to scam through your website, they ain't coming back and they might drop some bad reviews too.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are these P2P crypto platforms SCAM? on: January 25, 2024, 06:04:17 AM
I will never say anything good about PaxFul because I was a victim to their scam years ago and it's something that always come back into my mind whenever I see the name PaxFul online, if you know what's best for you do not use this platform, they have the most terrible ways of handling trades, they give power back to the scammers and release your fund or gift card to them, this was what happened to me.

ByBit and OkX are both centralized exchanges, them offering peer to peer trade is like how Binance exchange is doing it's thing, but customers are asked to pass KYC, I believe the best P2P platforms don't need to ask for KYC or keep any form of data from their users.

They are not as good as AlgoraDesk, HodlHodl and others, they don't ask for any sensitive data, just you and the person you want to buy from or sell to, their job is making sure the trade is a success.
514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The need to control your emotions as a football fan. on: January 24, 2024, 10:28:35 AM
Lol, there was so much emotion and frustration on this match, I can't help but think that maybe the fans placed some bets on their country? Or maybe they just can't help it because they have so much love for their country?

There is no way you won't feel sad if your country lose a match, I could remember when I was young, the only football match I watch is the world cup, and I was always very excited about whats going to happen, it's just what it is, but some people do take this emotion thing too far at times.

Damaging of properties and getting angry unnecessary is not worth it, I mean it's not as if someone died or you lost a limb, I have a brother that I don't like watching a match with, because the moment his favourite loses the game he always get so angry that it affects people around him, I am not sure he is even aware of this.
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: January 24, 2024, 09:23:11 AM
I will probably discipline him the hard way, this is how my father trained up and today I am glad he handled us this way, I used to think that my father was too harsh on us until I grow up, now I can't stop thanking him for bringing us up this way.

I will do the same thing with my children, unlike the parenting skills of today's parent, they are the ones responsible for the mess that this generation are doing, the fear of their kids hating them have made them to get too soft with the kids.

Some kids are differently, very tough and stubborn that no matter what you tell them to avoid they will still not listen to you, the only thing they listen to is punishment and some b*****, it's what many kids fear and understand, find which one your kid listen to, the words of the mouth or your harsh punishment on them, and after embrace them and let them know you love them, to avoid tiger parenting which can create some boundaries between you and your kids.
516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has never pass ATH before halving but it has always dip don't panic. on: January 24, 2024, 08:40:54 AM
@Hugeblack is right, everyone thought that ETF will make Bitcoin reach a new all time high liken ever before, breaking its past price actions in every circle, all because of the ETF approval, I was like isn't this too much to ask for?

Now that this isn't happening many people feel bad, there is a saying that when the hordes follows left you must take the right path because there is a huge chance that things wont go their way, I was expecting this crash anyway and it's more healthy and bullish for Bitcoin, the best time is almost here.

You guys should not feel too concern about this price action right now, take this as another opportunity to grab more Bitcoin before it's finally too late, there won't be anymore opportunity like this by the mid of this year, now is the time to buy.
517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You will do in this situation? on: January 24, 2024, 07:56:18 AM
OP, what if this person wins more or let me say what if he gets more lucky with Slots than sports betting? People need to understand that we are beings with spirits in us, he might not be so lucky with sports bet and gets more lucky with slots game, for a beginner I will prefer to advice them to get involve in a gambling niche first and see how it goes for them.

Beginner should be free to test things out first and see which one will work best for them, you can never know which one will work better for you until you try, and maybe that Dice games that you have been running away from is where you will get most luck you don't know.

Many people don't want to accept that sports are all about luck too, which makes me to ask myself few times before that why are people losing a lot of money on sports bet then if its not a game of luck, no single form of gambling is safer, even if you stand on small odds you can still lose your money.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prepare for the Next Dip before the Real Bull. on: January 23, 2024, 10:33:32 AM
Thanks for the heads up but I am waiting for 35k but it's true that anything under 40k is a good buying area but I will advise you to avoid going all in, as we can see even lower price for Bitcoin entering into the month of March.

Right now a good DCA strategy is best, buy some Bitcoin this January ending and do the same in February and early March, you won't have to worry much about price action with this DCA method, it always works best.

No one knows what's going to happen, from my research this morning I can see that even big whales are dumping billions worth of Bitcoin like they knew something is coming, it's a stress to react to this but it's better to just DCA and hold your Bitcoin.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: January 23, 2024, 09:24:35 AM

~snip~

Another question is, if gambling can make money then why do so many people suffer huge losses until they lose everything? This is one of the reasons and the main point why I never thought that gambling could be made into an income, no matter where you gamble but still everything called gambling is always unpredictable about the results because everything there is random and there is no consistent victory at the end of each session.
In my opinion, the answer is very short, because they are greedy with their winnings. There are those who win gambling which they actually feel is enough for that day, but their brain continues to think that the winnings can still increase again and again. so they don't gamble, they gamble until what they think is wrong and they end up losing everything.
This is basically the basic thought to every gambler who tend to win more and sometimes you won't blame them because this feeling is actually like a virus that eats every human exception of those with strong will power to resist the game and the opportunity of feeling you actually won free money. When the gambler experience winnings on a steady for some time he begins to think that there actually no such thing as losing and feels he can do it everytime till the whole story changes.
You are right, they need to erase becoming something out of gambling first, I remember when I use to trade on exchange, whenever I win I always use the money to buy some Bitcoin and use the initial back the next time I want to trade again, if I win a lot of money in gambling I will definitely use the money to invest, i's better than expecting to win a lot of money, like go hard or go home, it is a suicide.

Hoping to make life changing money out of gambling is like hoping to make money out of a thin air, with no strength been sacrifice, most times gambling is giving the vibe of money is easy to make which its not true, when it's too good to be true don't doubt it, with this mindset you will never risk a lot of money on gambling because you believe that making money was never meant to be so easy.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: While placing bet what comes your mind on: January 23, 2024, 08:12:09 AM
I don't think like everyone, honestly the first thing that comes to mind is that I will probably lose the money I am risking, I don't have the eager to win some money, it's always me giving my money away and when I don't see it coming, the casino gives back at times and sometimes the money is good enough.

How can I always wish to make free money when I don't plant any seed to make me expect some gains? I only expect money from where I put in a lot of effort not like gambling, this gambling thing is like giving you an opportunity out of 100 of bad luck, you can't rely on gambling like you should with your business or your source of income.

If you don't have a skill, start looking for one, if you are into business don't destroy everything with your gambling activities, let your business be your main focus, if you are making good amount of money you will be able to gamble out of fun, not trying to be a millionaire by gambling.
