501  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading strategy on: April 19, 2020, 07:45:31 AM
I've been trading for roughly 2 years now and I've been able to use some strategies that work quite well for me

I'm sharing my idea here for both new and experienced members.  Comments and Additional ideas would be appreciated

I mostly start my trades at 10 am
1st Step: Switch to D1 chart, Take note of the Minimum and Maximum of the previous day
2nd Step: Now switch to a H1 chart, if the last updated candlestick finishes above the previous day maximum, Go for a Long position
If it finishes below minimum, go for a Short position
3rd Step: If it finishes in between the Maximum and Minimum reduce the sizes of your charts in Step 1and 2 and repeat the steps.

Note: This is just a strategy!!!!! And any additions or deductions would be appreciated. Thank you

You are trading for roughly 2 years and yet you are not using indicators for your strategy?? I bet you are just doing some leverage trading on MEX. Anyway your strategy is fine considering you are trading cryptocurrencies which is a total gamble. As per your strategy. Your general overview scope ia just daily and it's somehow dangerous if you keep using that strategy while the monthly graph pointing out that the direction is going to the opposite side of your bet.

Since you didn't consider volumes and the flow of price. As I said this is totally fine in leverage trading cryptocurrencies but this will not work at all times. Some point on your trading, you will suffer great loss if you enter in that very bad timing.  Smiley

Thanks for the observation I use the SMA and Bollinger Bands for my analysis....... Just wanted to keep things short and simple for the new traders here, of course the experienced once would shape this(if found useful) to their own using different indicators and analysis.

Not familiar with Bollinger Bands, seem not very friendly to beginners. Most are using 3 SMAs on their charts, often times the lower the number the faster the SMA reacts to price change (20, 50) and that's when you find them most useful for leverage trading. Combined with the 200SMA to see its trend in the longer time frame.

502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Who knows about Wombat wallet? on: April 19, 2020, 06:15:25 AM
getwombat.io

This wallet?

It's for EOS and also the first time I've heard it. Why people keep using these unpopular wallets and risking their funds? use only the wallets that are verified and trusted by your network or the coin that you're using.

That should be it. Tried using, it says free EOS wallet so I tried but you have to pay 0.5 EOS. Not free at all.

The wallet is acknowledge by Newdex.io though which is somewhat a good thing but I didn't get to know how to buy CPU, NET and RAM from the wallet. They give away free CPU, EOS and RAM but too little to let you trade.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - IQ Cash - Cryptocurrency (IQ) for Traders, Investors and Miners on: April 18, 2020, 07:25:11 PM
I noticed that this project stole a lot of attention..  I am curious, whether this project is working with the Flits wallet application! because I see IQ Cash has entered the list.  I hope this will be one of the best projects in 2020..  I keep an eye on your project  Wink
yes, of course that will be our hope here, because clearly all are very rapidly developing when they hold a bounty program, many new people are coming into the IQ CASH project, and my position is currently storing some IQ coins, and I want to see if as said can reach $ 0.3, let's look together

Of course, we should always aim for the coin to increase its price, but now the value of the coin seems to be very low, but with the bounty program, it is impossible for the coin to increase its price because nowadays the coin price is based on the activity by their technical team and firstly they need to follow their roadmap development.

It's just recently listed to many exchanges. Bitforex has a good volume of this project in which the coin is paired with USDT and BTC unlike in some market which it's only paired with BTC. I guess percentage and miners are earning in participating in the ecosystem and the anonymity it provides to its users that makes the project interesting. So we'll have to find it out later if things continue to look good.

504  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: April 18, 2020, 06:13:03 PM
As we see everyday many people are dying every day in Europe and America and their economy is going down every day and economy specialties are guessing that the USA will lose his position as economy king and china will take over and we are already seeing that china economy didn't drop much and there already making money in this crisis.
Well, we are not 100% sure about this. But there have been some theories that China have planned this for a long time and were the cause of it. I am not sure if what people are saying is the truth, but I have seen a lot of people that are saying this on Twitter. And I also saw news on Twitter that the Chinese were buying up lots of companies in Italy, does anyone know whether this is true or not?

There are lots of things that have been said about this and if you look at everything that has happened, it makes it seem like they have planned the Coronavirus pandemic and released it to bring down the world economy and grow theirs. I wouldn't like to believe that tho'.

"Never let a good crisis go to waste" and the Chinese didn't waste it. If other countries buy companies from other countries they will call it an investment.  But not a plan to take over.

If the Chinese had planned it, they wouldn't have a ton of dead meat there. If the media says they lie about the numbers of death in China, they can't know all the truth of the number of death since people are afraid of quarantine and they hide themselves to death, it happens in many countries today. None of the countries counted their deaths correctly.

Binance Chain Releases White Paper for a Smart Contract-Enabled Blockchain

Binance Chain is launching a second, smart contract-enabled chain that will use Ethereum’s Virtual Machine to let its developers build decentralized apps.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/binance-chain-releases-white-paper-for-a-smart-contract-enabled-blockchain

Read this on my feed today. ITs another hype for BNB which can again win the trust of many investors. They are really winning this game especially now that they have bought a lot of crypto projects that can affect prices from media channels to project developments, BNB is set to step on the moon but its also killing some other coins.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be real projects on: April 17, 2020, 09:15:51 AM

I guess the reason why Hacken AI IEO failed this time.

There were many projects in the past 2 years that were doing IEO on exchange but most of the aren't making any developments. They were doing many efforts in promotion but nothing helps the price to take a nose dive.

There are lots of projects that come in and already launched. If you will look at it sounds too good to be true. Every project will lay their most beautiful cards to hype the audience and will catch the attention of the investors. So before investing in a project, you must do your own research. With the current market now, everyone should analyze first the project and study their whitepapers if they have the capability of being successful.

Some are just waiting for the bullrun before they will do the exit scam.
507  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin set to RISE into the Halving? on: April 17, 2020, 08:46:21 AM
$7500 has a resistance line. Its not going to be easy to break but we may be able to see the price stays at the current price for several days to weeks.

Jordan already said it could go to $20K this year like it will tough the ATH when it breaks the resistance where the liquidity crisis he mentioned. The fact that halving as always will act as catapult for the price to pump, its almost certain that it can go that direction. Halving is going to happen next month. He is suggesting to buy just when it retest the support level why not buy now?

While I do think any price under $10,400 is cheap, and anything under 20k provides amble room for serious profit - I am providing a "safe" entry into Bitcoin. I also mentioned in the video that now is a good time to buy and I added during the dump at $4100, $5200, $6100 and $6500. I would had added more but the dump was very quick and I could not get more funds to the platform I needed in time.

Yes, $6,300 is going to be a fantastic entry into Bitcoin in just a short time in my opinion.

It was meant for holders, if they could buy right now before the breakout in 7500, its always going to drop again but before that they can already accumulate after selling at such price too. Its always going to test the support and resistance.
508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading tips on: April 16, 2020, 03:51:22 PM

Just put your telegram channel there, if users are interested they will just join and drop a message instead of the other way round. Its free so I might just join and users who are going to be looking for confirmation of their analysis thru the tips in your channel. If you are so good at it, its good to also build a reputation in the forum. You can create a thread about your tips where you can post an analysis to a chart.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 ETH Puzzle! on: April 16, 2020, 03:10:14 PM

We all have doubts but its challenging so I took my photoshop out, adjust its hue and levels but nothing seem to appear here. Is there a duration of this puzzle because if I still have time and its still not solved, I could get back to examining it again. 100TH is a big amount right now and anyone who can't get of their houses has time to examine the image. Anyone tried scanning using the QR?  Cheesy

Supermarket aren't so crowded and the roads in the village are almost empty, its a good time to teach my kid to drive. I'm starting to like the lockdown too. There is an ordinance our government had issue which only 1 person can get out of the house to buy the things need at home. I'm the lucky one. I can get out of the house alone ad finally find a time to drink beer with an old friend without my wife.
512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: April 09, 2020, 06:04:18 PM

It is really discouraging to see so many projects from last 2 to 3 years that have either made little progress, lazy approach, failure to launch product or platform, abandoned or totally failed and closed. Unfortunately most of these projects were highly anticipated and people invested good money which they have lost almost entirely because there is not much hope of revival even after so many years. All projects should be transparent and update investors atleast weekly with all the updates and progress.

Revival of the project could be hard to achieve because they have broken the trust and the people in cryptocurrency will always remember these projects which their reputation is already ruined. It could be because they did the ICO in the wrong time when the market is crashing.

There are also projects that are pretty much surprising that they were listed  on exchanges already but are doing IEO still. Its worse because the project started dying after the IEO which they claimed to be successful.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Project 2020, suddenly stopped! on: April 09, 2020, 02:14:11 PM
The BlockBurn project was also listed in coinmarketcap while they are promoting their project for IEO, they were listed on exchanges as well but after the campaign the price of the token plummet down like its been planned for bounty hunters not to get something out of it. These guys don't play fair here. After promotion where bounty hunters were making exposures for them, it would only appear like they don't wanna pay and this is also happening in Insure.
514  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: YouTube continues to ban crypto content on: April 08, 2020, 07:57:14 PM
According to this article, YouTube continues to ban crypto content; No one knows the reason!. Last December they ban a lot of 'legitimate crypto website'. But lately though, we have seen hundreds if not thousands of fake giveways, and with the Covid-19 pandemic, perhaps there are more crypto related scams appearing on Youtube.

I agree with the ban of crpyto related scams, and they should focus on it. However, if some legit channels are going to be affected, then they have to look at their process of banning, just saying.

I think that Google is against anything crypto related, since it could affect its business. Blockchain technology provides freedom to the people, which goes against the belief of worldwide conglomerates. While Google could justify its actions by eliminating scams or fraud, we know deep inside the companies' intentions to harm the growth of the crypto/Blockchain industry in general. That's the reason why YouTube continues to ban crypto content in its platform. It's best that we switch to another service which focuses on decentralization above anything else. DTube is a great alternative to the existent YouTube video hosting service, which gives the power back to content creators.

I guess that most crypto enthusiasts continue to use YouTube to host their videos because it's a popular platform in the mainstream world. Switching to another video hosting service might not seem to be a good idea since they have a small amount of users supporting them. Maybe with enough pressure from the crypto community, Google's YouTube video hosting service would change its stance towards everything crypto related? With or without YouTube, the crypto industry could stand strong in desperate times like the ones we're facing right now. There are many alternatives from existent services right now, which gives anyone the choice to support one platform from another. As long as crypto remains decentralized, it'll be a force to reckon with. Just my opinion Smiley

Maybe. Once Dtube is advertised on youtube by the blockchain influencers, the popularity may hurt their business. There is more freedom to projects in the cryptocurrency unlike with google.

They are not thoroughly banning all cryptorelated channels as we can see there are analyst there who are still very much active providing their forecast. So most likely its just those reported channels that has contents that can potentially scam thats taken down.

Most of the users who doesn't have issues with privacy and submitting KYC documents are often choosing Binance where it has everything from reputation to liquidity. You can never go wrong when more than half of the traders are suggesting Binance. If value privacy there are also tons of DEX to choose from but you will eventually try the centralize one if you are into trading.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has Seen a Major Boost Amid Dollar Crisis on: April 07, 2020, 03:06:44 PM
Its interesting to learn they thought US gov pumps BTC.  But that $2 Trillion is really going to burst everything even the altcoin with the tiniest cap.

That Roubini financial professor stated the most scary situation and if he's right that the contagion is really going to get worse, its gonna be severely affect everyone even after giving out $1000 each and everyone.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to trade the usdt market on: April 07, 2020, 01:59:47 PM

USDT is what he wants to withdraw. There are many reasons why someone would wants to withdraw USDT but whatever that is there is always withdrawal.

Hi community members,
I have been an active trader of the bitcoin markets for couple of years. Now I want to enter the usdt markets. So basically I'm used to 0.00002-.00003 max withdrawal fee from most exchanges but i see usdt exchanges charge somewhat around 10usdt for withdrawal which Imo is very high to someone who is used to the buy sell Btc on low fee exchanges without many kyc verifications. Could someone point me to such low fee exchanges dealing in usdt?
Fee for trading or fees for withdrawals do you mean?
If you are looking for a cheap withdrawal fee for USDT I recommend Binance because the fee is only 0.35 USDT for each withdrawal, and the trading fees are also quite cheap there

0.35 USDT for a withdrawal thats sweet. That just mean OP is in the wrong exchange. Never tried withdrawing USDT myself, I kept it on exchange coz I got so much trust to them but I eventually buy it for BTC whenever I wanna withdraw becuase its the only way I can cash out.
519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: April 07, 2020, 12:57:22 PM

Yes they are the future of payments. USDT were being used to pay in one of the campaigns here in the forum that should say a lot for what stablecoin's use. Stablecoin has many use, hedging is just one which you as a trader will really find it very much of a relief when you move your money to it before the bear starts rallying.

There is no difference between stable coin and the fiat currency, they both are centralized and they both can create currency our of thin air. So, I wouldn't call stablecoin as the future of cryptocurrency. They are only another form of fiat and no more use of them. No crypto enthusiast would be interested in stablecoin ever because of their cebtralized nature.

Its exactly what is should a fiat currency which is why Polispay accepted it.
520  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: April 06, 2020, 06:33:24 PM

Patience mean waiting. Waiting for the right signal is easy thing to do but this will really take a lot of time wasting that will not turn you an aggressive trader who will earn almost every week.  It may vary which indicators you use and your trading personality. Some people are just not risk takers so they will wait til RSI tell them that BTC is overbought in the monthly chart which means he has waited for months, that could either be discipline or time wasting.
