I am getting paid by my pool. I was just saying that I'm not getting any public work.

Check your set PPS price. Set it to .00005, you should start getting some.

EDIT: I have received some complaints about listing the PPS price. Seriously, people, enough is enough. This is a public (albeit beta) pool, and attempting to keep that information secret is simply selfish. Unless pirateat40 specifically requests as such, I am not going to delete my post.

Whaaaaaaat !? Are you saying that I can mine at a rate of 0.00005 BTC per share submitted ?

That is like MADNESS. I gotta get this setup ASAP and stop messing with those silly bonus PPS pools.

Thanks for the tip !

So ATM it seems that I get paid 0.00005 you get 0.000005 and the guy buying the shares pays total of 0.000055 ? LOL.

How do I connect Grin ?

Yep, easy money.  Are you invited already?

I don't care if people want to talk about the pricing, but I will tell you that when you mention the price here the big hashers start moving around their pricing which changes the purchase price which stops public work for a lot of people.  So feel free to talk about pricing all you want but don't blame me when there's no work to be had. heh, looks like you sir are full of coins! my interest payment was payed out to my local wallet  Sad

Huh  You mean my operating wallet?

EDIT: Your account is not set to reinvest so you get a payment and not a deposit.

It's possible to have an account that automatically reinvests and does not pay out?
If so, would it be possible to change my account to that mode?

Yes, instead of my paying out to your address it gets deposited into your account.  Send me a pm to enable it.

The following pool has been added to the non-supported list.

  • Bonus PPS Pool - High Stales/Rejects

We'll continue testing this pool and when it passes our performance test it will be released from the blacklist.
506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: clark moody site is extremely unstable on: February 10, 2012, 06:24:15 PM
It's the Mt. Gox socket.io connection.  Nothing to do with his site.

Where do you get totals?

I really love this so far, but wish it worked with bitminter.. Sad

Yes, did you not get yours in the mail.  WHAT, you want us to do everything for you?
508  Economy / Services / Re: GPUMAX | The Bitcoin Mining Marketplace on: February 09, 2012, 10:44:23 PM

The thing that blew me away: I said on irc that I would mine on eu and see if i could jag a block "solo" one guy said he'd point a rig there too, I told him no db so no share counts or payouts, just "charity" shares, someone else said theyd point a card as well, somehow the word spread, we found 9 yes 9!!! blocks, a total of 450BTC
Just wow!
If we disallow the donations the pool is actually even  Smiley

Update:

Our old DC is doing an upgrade to their routers to address the issues we've been having.  GPUMAX will be down from 9:30PM to 1AM CST while they upgrade and configure the hardware.  We can't tell you how sorry we are about having to take the system down for this long.  Hopefully it's faster but we'll expect it take that long or longer.

We wish we could migrate during this time to our new system but I don't think it's possible.  I recommend everyone to setup a fail-over to their offline pools so you don't have much downtime.

If you have a purchase in the system during this time it will be suspended until the system comes back up or if you wish you can contact me or support@gpumax.com to have a refund issued.

Thanks and we'll see you on the flip side.

You need to set speed thresh holds......to force miners to failover on their own and not simply to PUBLIC work if no CONTRACT work is available.
As it seems, my miners are more than happy to stay connected to GPUMAX even at 50% speeds and NOT failover to my backup pool.
Waking up to find that I wasted a bunch of electricity while I slept is rather discomforting......
My setup is rather small right now and I know what it produces every minute with tons of backup data to support it.

As of posting this, my backup pool had reported NO CONNECTION in the past 15+ hours to the worker set as my 'Public' worker in GPUMax, nor have my backup workers accumulated anything significant, so where do I point the finger ?
(CGminer - latest version, Win7 x64, multiple months of stability on same hardware with monitoring stats)....

If your miner is running at 50% speed then you have something else going on.
511  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Contracts or PPS payouts greater than 100% are pool hopping with your hashes! on: February 09, 2012, 03:51:10 PM
p2p for the win.... this solves all the problems

in the OP about saying we lied about it... i never said i did not hop, no one asked lol!

also I do not think you understand how GPUMAX works. Pirate does not control where the hashing power goes, really you should read his thread.

Sorry, GPUMAX, Goat is right.

No worries just another member spread FUD around.  I would beat you with a rubber hose if I had one. Smiley

Update

Well we did it, we've moved to our new DC and did a few updates while the site was offline.

Enjoy,

OP, since you will only accept referrals, then are you saying current lenders can advertise it on the forum?
I know you have strict rules about that in the past when things got heated up with ineeduser*

As long as they are dealing with me directly I am fine with it.  What I don't want to see is people advertising that they can lend through them to me.

Update

I've removed the On-Demand service and the now named Savings account has a minimum of 100 BTC to start.
The new account minimum is only for new accounts.

Thanks

I can't add any pools or workers - the changes aren't saved, any ideas on how to solve this?

It seems to be a bug in the system we will get fixed but you should be able to log out and back in.
