501  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 19, 2024, 08:59:39 AM
-.-
-.-.

Those of us who choose to hold don't really need much of a plan apart from waiting and increasing our patience rating until history is created and that is the best plan that we have prepared beforehand. not now.
Didn't happen in April, if I'm still alive I'll get it in another month. Tell me what your backup plan is if your prediction is wrong so we can do it too.

My investment plan is quite simple, always have 20%-30% USDT available in the account and if my prediction is wrong and bitcoin corrects significantly, I will use the remaining USDT to buy bitcoin or altcoins I have put on my watchlist but have not yet purchased.

And if bitcoin increases according to my expectations and plans, I will continue to optimize part of the profit. Because I believe that if bitcoin increases in price from now on and is able to set a new ATH after the halving then a correction will occur in the following months. In the long term, we are not yet into the crazy bull season we are waiting for, so I have no intention of investing 100% of my capital right now.
502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pump|before halving on: April 19, 2024, 08:50:30 AM
We might deal with the price lower than $60k before the actual halving, and this can be a good opportunity to buy again.
This could be the trend for the next few month before we see another series of recovery, for now let's wait for the halving to happen and decide on what to do next. Right now, I'm just waiting for the right timing to buy again and seriously, if the war begins we might see a big panic again in the market and that could lead to another drop.
So what would be the right time to buy bitcoin if not now? What guarantees that bitcoin will continue to fall more than its current price? There are a lot of people gradually becoming pessimistic and predictions of bitcoin falling to 50k USD are appearing more and more, that's when I think bitcoin can't fall any further. Instead, I believe a recovery will happen soon, so buy as soon as you can and don't hesitate as there is no guarantee the price will continue to fall.

What I am pleased with is that not only on this forum but also on most other social networks became pessimistic and predicted bitcoin would drop to 50k USD, and that is a sign that bitcoin will recover because the market always go against the crowd.
Well, the market doesn't always go against the crowd if the crowd is reacting to what they think is going to happen which means that if the crowd thinks that the market will drop and they don't buy, the market will have a hard time going up because there won't be much demand and that many buyers. Similarly, if the crowd thinks that the market will go and they start buying, the market will go up because there will be more buyers than sellers in the market.

Leaving that aside, I would also say that I'm optimistic that the market will start recovering from this point onward and there won't be a further dip, but then again, we can only make predictions and the market can react differently based on any event or news that might circulate in the industry next.

The crowd I am talking about here are retail investors like us and we are not the ones who can dictate the direction of the market even though we make up the majority of the market. The crowd will not dare to buy, but if bitcoin only increases a few percent, the crowd will Fomo and buy regardless, crowd psychology is easily manipulated and many sharks understand this.

Have you checked bitcoin today? After the volatility, bitcoin is now trading above $64k and those who have been selling or waiting for bitcoin to hit $50k must be very impatient. Like I said, I wouldn't be surprised to see them buying bitcoin as it passes $70k in the coming days.
503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin way forward - Towards $100k or $50k on: April 18, 2024, 05:42:07 AM
I know no one can speculate or predict it accurately but just share your thoughts with any valid reasons behind it.
Overall, as you said, speculation and predictions about Bitcoin are not correct/accurate, there are many Bitcoin experts currently speculating about the future of Bitcoin, Not only experts, companies often spread rumors about their speculation about Bitcoin's sustainability
For example:
Such as Bit Mining company Youwei, James Butterfill chief researcher at CoinShares and including Antoni Trenchev, Carol Alexander and Matrixport they speculate and predict variously about the price of Bitcoin, $70-$150k for this year.

But, personally, I will predict Bitcoin's highest price for this year at around $80, after that it will be the opposite of what that person predicted, but I remain optimistic, Bitcoin will be better than the current price.

But I want to ask you further , do you mean this year's highest ATH is $80k and is that the highest ATH this bull season or just this year's ATH, and will bitcoin reach even higher ATH during the bull season 2025? If $80k is the final ATH you expect this bull season then you are actually quite modest and your assessment of bitcoin's potential is quite low .

My prediction is that the bull season will start in the fourth quarter of this year and last until 2025, and I believe this will be a super cycle so I am very optimistic about bitcoin's ATH . I even believe it could touch $150k or more once the bull season is over.
504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pump|before halving on: April 18, 2024, 05:33:07 AM
My fingers and toes are doubly crossed that bitcoin doesn't fall below $60k, however.

It's on the brink of going down < $60k. There are data that shows the reason for this downside is that there are no inflows coming from Bitcoin Spot ETF. But as we look throughout Bitcoin past historical logs, prior to the halving, this is just but normal to see no actions or even the price going down.

So in 2 days, we will see if the trend will continue. On the other hand, this could be taken advantage as we can buy at this current price and accumulate and hold. There's nothing better to buy cheap Bitcoin in a downturn before the halving and then just wait till it recover and bounce back and see a parabolic rise till the end of the year.

505  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 18, 2024, 04:42:11 AM
I guess.  The boomer markets seem to have stopped selling off, it's now just mostly crypto that's still going down.  For what reason, not really sure.  But the thing is it's funny how after all these years a lot of people still feel iffy about crypto and the legitimacy of it.  It's been more than 10 years guys...  Crypto is not going anywhere, esp BTC.

But yeah.  I locked the poll as per tradition.  Rooting for the guys who voted yes.  LFGGG!

74.2% of us here voted Yes that Bitcoin will close above 75k. I think with 12 more days remaining according to my time zone, with the current price estimate still experiencing a decline in the next few days until the halving, it is doubtful that it can close at a price above 75k even though according to Coinglass's monthly return data for April 2023 it is green +2.81%.

Instead of selling, it is better to hold until Bitcoin reaches a price of 100k. I don't know what some people are thinking when they decide to sell because Bitcoin, which I know, has been proven and cannot be doubted.

I want to know which scenario did you vote for before? One thing I see is that some people who were quite bullish at the beginning of the month are starting to feel negative because of bitcoin's recent correction. Many people are changing their attitudes very quickly because bitcoin has continuously decreased in price since this topic was created, if OP gives them a chance to vote again , I believe the majority will switch to “NO” instead of “YES”

But personally, I will still maintain my opinion, Bitcoin will still increase in price and will reach more than $75$ this April. Of course , I also have a backup plan if my prediction is wrong but I will not change my opinion just because of recent minor corrections.
506  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Time to Buy More BTC? on: April 18, 2024, 04:31:03 AM
Many people are optimistic that the price of bitcoin will increase, which does not mean it is guaranteed that the price of bitcoin will increase and bring profits to everyone who decides to buy bitcoin from now on. The market does not move according to the wishes of people, especially the crowd. Investing in bitcoin requires a long-term view, don't try to speculate just because everyone is optimistic about the bitcoin price and the halving does not guarantee us a price increase.

The right time to buy bitcoin is when you are ready for the risks you face if it happens, not before or after the halving event or when bitcoin drops in price.
Indeed, no one can guarantee that with every speculation made by someone that Bitcoin will experience an increase and can be profitable for those who have collected Bitcoin, so before deciding to invest our money in Bitcoin we must already understand the investment we are making and don't let it happen. just following other people in investing so that we make mistakes that cause us losses.
What you say is very correct, that the time is right to invest in Bitcoin when we are ready for the investment risks that we will face when carrying out the investment and also have to have a good plan before starting to collect Bitcoin so that we can get a profit from holding Bitcoin.
We have just over a day left until the halving event takes place and let's take a look at bitcoin's price at this time. Many people confidently believe that the halving is approaching and the demand for bitcoin will increase and from there the price will only increase without decreasing . But look what's going on and that's why I say don't be too subjective and always prepare yourself with a backup plan. Bitcoin is unpredictable and it will never please the crowd.
I believe that after the halving there will be a lot of people disappointed because things did not go as they expected , but that is part of the financial game that they need to accept .
507  Economy / Speculation / Re: Satoshi forces the price of bitcoin to continue to rise over time on: April 18, 2024, 04:19:14 AM
I think Satoshi didn't include halving in the design of Bitcoin for its price to rise. I guess the design was simply imitating the way gold mining works. As mining goes on, the gold deposits on the earth dwindle, and so the new additional supply also decreases. This is how Bitcoin mining works as well. As mining goes on, the reward decreases over time.

I don't see this as a weakness though. And I also don't agree that public trust on Bitcoin is based on high price. Although there is that portion in the community, they don't represent the public. Bitcoin has features. These features are the main reasons why people are behind Bitcoin.

But if he relies on the principle of gold to create a halving event for bitcoin, then he clearly wants bitcoin to increase in value over time because the scarcity factor also helps gold increase in price over time.

Although in the bitcoin whitepaper , he only mentioned it as a peer-to-peer currency, other than that , we cannot be sure that he does not want bitcoin to become an asset like gold. We cannot know what his thoughts were, but given what was going on, I cannot rule out the possibility that Satoshi also intended to turn bitcoin into an asset and not really a currency.

Probably because Satoshi knew very well how the fiat system would kill the value of money. Scarcity or finitude was there to address this. A fix supply in Bitcoin's design is probably grounded on the fact that money shouldn't be as easy to inflate as fiat. Otherwise he's not really addressing the never-ending rising of prices of goods and services and the devaluation of money.

Satoshi designed Bitcoin to be a currency and a currency is also an asset at the same time. So I guess this isn't something that we should be confused about. Satoshi definitely wanted Bitcoin to be an asset.

Also , I still have a question, even we can know that bitcoin becoming a currency will never happen because the government will never let it happen . The government is still the one who controls this world and they will still be the one who decides what bitcoin will become, this is something that everyone understands and I think Satoshi has definitely thought about this. Satoshi was wise enough to realize that, so it wouldn't be entirely correct if he created bitcoin with the sole purpose of becoming a currency . I still believe he also plans to make bitcoin an asset if it fails to become a currency.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 18, 2024, 03:17:18 AM
Manchester United has a match against Coventry in the FA Cup semi-finals.  I hope they will be able to win that match at least. Because of the way they have been performing recently, it really is not good at all. They do not have any singles wins in the last four matches.

The last match they were able to win in the English Premier League was against Everton.
And Everton is currently fighting to stay out of the relegation zone, lol.
I think you get the context here. So it is actually a very hit and miss prediction with anything about Manchester United at this moment.
But I don’t think it is actually going to be too much to ask from Manchester United to win the match against Coventry, they won 13 out of 15 meetings against Coventry.

My opinion is that it should not be that hard for Manchester United. But recently Manchester United has made everything hard for themselves.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: April 17, 2024, 06:55:01 PM
Milan vs Roma

I think this is going to be one of the most interesting matches. First of all, I did not expect Milan to lose the first leg. I thought they were going to have an advantage going into the second leg. Or at least I thought they would not have any disadvantages going into that second leg. But now that is not the case. Roma has the upper hand. But the advantage is not very big as well. Roma has an advantage of only one goal. The aggregate score is currently one – zero in favor of Roma. So it is not something which Milan will not be able to overcome.

But the problem is the match is going to be played in the home ground of Roma. So this is probably a bigger problem than I thought at first for Milan. De Rossi said Ndicka's health is good now, so he will probably play tomorrow's match, That's why Roma's attitude is normal now. Best of luck Giallorossi's men, hope they can make it all together.

RAPH TRADE Barcelona ‘reject £60million transfer offer’ from Premier League club for former Leeds star Raphinha
BARCELONA have reportedly rejected a £60million bid for Raphinha from an unnamed Premier League club.
The Brazilian, 27, joined the Catalan giants from Leeds in a £57m deal in the summer of 2022.

I think they have made the right decision. Because he is an important player for them at this moment.
So, if they sell him, they will have to at least bring in a similar level of player if not better. You know, they cannot do that with 60 million.
I actually don’t think they will be able to do that with 80 million as well.

But I understand that they also need money. So I am not going to blame them if they actually sell him. However,  I also think at the same time that it is not worth it to sell a player who is playing well for the team trying to save some money. Yes, 80 million is a good price for him. I want to be surprised if Barcelona somehow manages to get something more than that.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 16, 2024, 05:34:13 PM
I think it is safe to say that Inter is going to win the league title this season. And that means Napoli is not going to defend the title successfully. Napoli is actually not even going to finish in the top five in my opinion.

Juventus is not performing as well as they should be. But they will still finish in the top four. Unless something amazing happens.
Roma and Bologna is in competition for the fourth position. It is still unclear who will finish on the fourth.

Udinese 28, Verona 28, Empoli 28, Frosinone 27, Sassuolo 26, are fighting against each other. The competition between them is to see who can stay out of the relegation zone. The numbers mentioned beside the teams are the points that they are on right now. We can clearly see that there is only a difference of two points between all of them. So it is still unclear who will be relegated.
512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 15, 2024, 05:57:37 PM

Barcelona vs PSG

This match is probably going to be one of the most important matches for PSG this season. Let's be real. PSG is not even a little bit worried about the Ligue 1 title. Because you know that is the default title for them. They are going to win that by default. What actually matters to them is the Champions League title. They are not playing well in that.

Right now PSG cares about all two things. Somehow keeping Mbappé in the squad devil not be successful in doing. And winning the Champions League competition. And it is not going to be a very bad prediction to say that they will probably not win the Champions League competition. The odds are definitely against them. Let's see if they can overcome this situation and actually beat Barcelona to go to the next stage of this competition. Which I will admit is highly unlikely.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 15, 2024, 04:24:34 PM
Bayern Leverkusen's performance is extraordinary this season and they are the only team in Europe that has not been beaten this season, Bayern Munich's performance is certainly inseparable from the compactness of their team which is evenly distributed on every line, besides that the lack of star players owned by Leverkusen certainly makes it easier for Alonso to manage his squad, because I think it will be very difficult for young and novice coaches to manage the egos of star players and of course us Everyone knows that many star players often throw tantrums that require the coach to take firm action against these players, besides of course Alonso is at the right time to coach Leverkusen at this time when Bayern Munich's performance is deteriorating.
Even though he is still considered a young coach, Alonso is a footballer who has been in many teams in very different leagues during his career so he was also trained by quite experienced coaches at that time. So now he can apply all of that to the team he is coaching now and the results have also surprised many people at this time because before this season started we all certainly never thought that Bayer Leverkusen would never lose. But in reality that has happened now with only a few games remaining for this season.

I thought Leverkusen would not be able to win this match. As they have played a match just one day before this one. I thought they would probably get one point from this match or even if they did, they would struggle. But I was very wrong. They were able to win this match pretty easily. They have been able to beat Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title. This has happened after 11 years. Since the last 11 years, Byren Munich has been the team to win the title. This season, everyone thought it is going to be the same old story as Harry Kane joined Bayern Munich. With a few matches left, Leverkusen was able to make sure that they won the title. And they were also able to win the match by a big difference. The final score was 5-0 in favor of Leverkusen. Xabi Alonso has been able to win the Bundesliga title both as player and as a coach.

515  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Time to Buy More BTC? on: April 15, 2024, 01:01:40 PM
For me yes this is the right time to buy bitcoin both as a long term or short term basis,  this is significant enough since most of the market speculators are cashing in on all the befits of bitcoin both at long term or short term basis and this is what is most Important for any investor,  some of the gains of holding bitcoin is that it value always changes at frequent time and is out of the control of any centralized or individual influence or control so bitcoin will continue to recover even if it falls below your buy price.

and If we pay attention to the market sentiment when viewed from the Bitcoin Fear & Greed Index is now at level 65 is still quite strong and I think ahead of the halving moment in about 5 days, investors are increasingly likely to feel optimistic and focus on BTC in anticipation of price increases as a result of the recent decline.

516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Inflation and Bitcoin's Potential Impact on: April 15, 2024, 12:45:13 PM
Bitcoin was created after the severe economic crisis of 2008 and with designs such as decentralization, finite supply... clearly Satoshi wanted to create an asset to combat the inflation that fiat money causes. But today bitcoin is being used as a speculative asset because of its high volatility, so whether we use it to effectively deal with inflation depends on each person. In the short term, bitcoin's volatility is not suitable for us to use it to fight inflation , but if we use it in the long term, bitcoin is even more effective than gold.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: btc purchases on: April 15, 2024, 12:35:30 PM
It would be very risky for us to directly contact traders on Binance and external P2P trading because we don't know who they are and if we get scammed by them there is no way to complain. I tried doing this once, I tried to talk to them to do an outside transaction but they refused immediately because it was really too risky even though the amount was very small. I don't think this is a good idea to try while we also have decentralized exchanges.

Based on personal experience, I would suggest everyone stay away from P2P merchants or users who ask you to contact them outside the platform and make trades with them because that has a lot of negative consequences and I have seen it. They might even offer you better rates and ask you to make trades with them privately, and they might not even scam you but things they do can put you under a lot of risks.

I have seen people facing such things where the buyer contacts them offering a higher price than the market and says he will do third-party payments, remember, third-party payments are a very big red sign, never take third-party payments from anyone on any P2P platform because your receiving account can get in trouble because of that.

The buyer would offer you high prices for accepting third-party payments, and then they send scammed funds to your account and take USDT from you, later on, people who got scammed by the buyer will start approaching you or registering complaints against you.

I agree with you and in my opinion, once we join any trading platform, we should comply with all their regulations and should not arbitrarily make outside transactions because will not be guaranteed or protected if something goes wrong.
I also use P2P on binance quite often and I never reply to messages or have to explain myself to any of the buyers and sellers. I always comply with binance's regulations and if the trading time expires and my transaction is still not resolved, I will complain directly to the support staff. We should only work and communicate with platform staff, and not talk or argue with anyone outside the platform or any social network. The risk is too great.

That is according to a report from Sport, which reports that when Mbappe moves to Madrid it will raise doubts about Vinicius Jr’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu.

This is something I have not thought about before. I always thought that they were going to play Mbappé as a striker of the team. I personally did not think that they would have any problem with Vini jr and Mbappé both being left-wingers. And I still don't think it is going to be a big problem. I just think that the media is trying to make a big issue out of it so that they can gather some views. I don't think Mbappé is going to have any issues playing as a striker in Real Madrid. I also believe Vini jr is going to perfectly complement him

IMO, it is very likely that Bayer Leverkusen will celebrate their League title after beating Wender Bremen. yesterday's match against Westham in the quarter-finals did not dampen their enthusiasm to win the Bundesliga. moreover, Alonso still has players he can rely on in the Bremen match, Victor Boniface could be the main starter in tomorrow's match. since he was injured and returned to join his teammates, Alonso has always placed him on the substitute bench. In the match against Bremen, it was time for Boniface to show his abilities. plus, several other players are also absent after their injuries.

We can refer to the odds provided by the bookies, you can see the gap between the two teams that will compete. Leverkusen with @1.21, while Bremen with @13.00. although if Bremen played defensively, it would be difficult for them to hold back Leverkusen who were very highly motivated.  So, I doubt if this match will end in a draw. apart from this match being held at the BayArena, it will be difficult for Bremen to hold back Xavi Alonso's team who immediately want to finish this competition. so, Leverkusen can fully focus on the Europa League and DFB Pokal. my estimate is that Xabi Alonso's team will score at least 2 more goals in tomorrow's match. so maybe the Over option could be an option for those who want to bet, there will be a minimum of 3 goals from both teams.

Leverkusen was able to win the Europa League match against West Ham pretty comfortably. And I will actually say that this should not have a big impact on their performance against Bremen in the next match.

Yes, they did not get enough rest before the match, thats why i think about a daw with Bremen. But I think if they can actually rotate the players well enough, They will be able to make sure that they win the match and also the Bundesliga title with that. And yes I also agree that the team is going to be very motivated to win this match. But I think they will try to not go hard in the first half and try to conserve energy so that they can play well equally in the second half.

On paper, this should not be a problem for them. You know Bremen are in 12 positions now and i can't see any consistency from them current season. if i talked about their last game, they played against Frankfurt and made 1-1 draw with them. on the other hand, Leverkusen is in top of the table and has a good consistency this season. so it will not be wrong if I expect same result what they had done with Westham last day and keep their unbeaten form stable.

Binance and other exchanges also have P2P marketplaces -- I believe you don't need KYC to view these. Many leave their contact details, least last I checked.
But if you read his statement carefully you will  see that the OP wants a non custodial wallet that doesn't require him to be Kyced or uploaded any of his identity or any other details.

If you read my response carefully, you'll see I'm telling him how to avoid using any wallet other than his own, and the P2P trader he's buying from. Not telling him to use the exchange, but to obtain direct contact with traders. That's how I got mine, the same guys I sell to from years ago. It's got its own risk, sure, but we all operate risking our reputations -- that's in some way a lot more secure than escrow.

It would be very risky for us to directly contact traders on Binance and external P2P trading because we don't know who they are and if we get scammed by them there is no way to complain.
