501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 13, 2021, 05:07:33 PM
I agree that this game will be a revenge game for Liverpool against Watford. I really wonder how Liverpool lost by a really huge result to Watford in the previous season. I can't remember the game exactly but I remember one thing for certain that Liverpool were terrible in that season. Their defense especially was terrible in the absence of players like Virgil van Dijk.

I assume that Liverpool will get a solid win here after drawing with their competitors in their last two games in the league.
I'm guessing you're talking about Liverpool's 3:0 defeat to Watford. If you look, Liverpool became the champion this season and they just gave the game to Watford, who was struggling to survive at the time. so there is nothing surprising in this defeat. And if you look at the history of the games of Utford and Liverpool, you will see that Liverpool has a huge advantage. I think Liverpool will win this match and score 2-3 goals.

The Watford vs Liverpool match should be an opportunity for Liverpool to score additional scores to top the current standings. The difference in value is still very thin, Liverpool can still catch up. I also saw the news in this match that Alexander will also play after suffering an injury. This should be a strengthening support for Liverpool to win.
502  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: October 13, 2021, 03:27:12 PM
Rollbit is rolling out many NFT"s to be named by normal users outside the casino also and players are having luck and prizes by just suggesting a creative name and there is one more rolled out today under the same scheme and you could get $500 for the same if you win.Have fun with trend that's important.

The NFT offering by Roolbit is indeed interesting to have.  After looking at Rollbots terms, they offer risk-free NFT which has terms of resale after 30 days.  The difference between the pre sale price and the public sale is quite promising for users who want to speculate on Rollbots.  However, with a capital of 500$ and getting 1 NFT for some people the value is quite competitive, and after seeing the preview of Rollbots it is indeed a unique work.

504  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Indonesia Tidak Ikuti China, Kabar Gembira? on: October 12, 2021, 05:01:14 PM

505  Economy / Economics / Re: The Economic Problem on: October 12, 2021, 04:18:22 PM
Basically the conditions of need and scarcity will be part of an economic problem that continues to be complex.  The problem of this need starts from the smallest line, namely the household, to a large scale for the state.  But it's true what the OP said that there are a few key points to solve this scarcity problem.  Not only on basic needs but from other needs.
506  Economy / Economics / Re: Growth in the marketcap on: October 12, 2021, 01:24:53 PM
I'm confused on the basis of your data collection.  How can you compare companies by currency?  Do you think it is appropriate to compare a factor of production with a product?  Moreover, the basis of comparison is its market capitalization.  When comparing something, we should take a similar basis, not contradictory things.  Indeed, at first glance we can catch that between centralized and decentralized services can be compared, but it does not mean that the provider is the comparison data but the users.  For example, compare Crypto users with Fiat users, then the comparison is worth it.
507  Economy / Economics / Re: knowledge and Capital which is Very important in Business or Investment? on: October 11, 2021, 05:05:12 PM
Knowledge and capital both are very important in business and investment. Because without knowledge you can not do anything in business because knowledge awakens awareness about the business's ups and downs, its method, profit, and loss, etc. But without capital what will you invest in having information about a business. But the importance of knowledge is recognized & no one can deny its importance.

As far as I know, science and capital in business are the same, the only difference is the type.  A good business is one that has both elements.  However, even though we only have one of them and we have a strong determination to move forward.  I'm sure it's still good though not perfect.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 11, 2021, 04:30:29 PM

Is a tough game, both teams need the 3 points, Manchester United needs to win this game to put their selves among the front runners for the title, they don't need to lose more grounds, I think Manchester United lose this game Ole we start answering questions and his job status we be unclear.and Brendan Rodgers will be going all out  for it since he is playing at home and he desperately needs points.i predict a draw game here

If Man United does not improve their game, it is possible that the next match against Leicester will only end in a draw because considering yesterday against Liverpool they performed less than optimally so they were unable to outperform the opposing team. Man United's current position must be able to catch Chelsea who topped the standings.
509  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Indonesia Tidak Ikuti China, Kabar Gembira? on: October 11, 2021, 02:49:55 PM

510  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments capitulate and finally recognize Bitcoin as a legal tender? on: October 10, 2021, 05:33:45 PM

Really it's only the developing nations with weak national currencies and troubled economies that are considering this.  There are no first world countries with a strong economy and a strong currency that are entertaining bitcoin as a viable national currency.  An optimist would call this "innovative" while a pessimist would call it "gimmicky."  I'm closer to the latter group, because at the end of the day, bitcoin won't solve these nation's economic woes, and it's not going to prove to be a very useful currency if it can't hold a steady value (unless that country is experiencing hyperinflation).
Yup, countries that have unstable economies that consider other currencies to be legal as their medium of exchange because basically the currency of a country is not only used according to its function, it is also the identity of the country.  Bitcoin is good as an investment option but to be used as a legal medium of exchange in many countries this is a very difficult task and takes a long time.  Although there are countries that have ratified it as a legal medium of exchange, it is not sufficient to represent the entire country.
511  Economy / Economics / Re: Just because prices are high, doesn't mean that is a good investment. on: October 10, 2021, 04:49:42 PM
In the cryptocurrency sector a lot of people give attention to unit price, rather than the market cap. This is a wrong strategy. Take the case of Bitcoin for example. The unit price is $54,000 per coin, and the market cap is $1 trillion. On the other hand, Ripple (XRP) is having a unit price of $1.16 and a market cap of $53 billion. So there is a 20 times difference in the valuation between BTC and XRP, but some of the noobs just look at the unit price and conclude that the difference is 50,000 times. And using the same logic, they assume that BCH is more expensive than XRP, when it is not the case.

No matter how high the price and the comparison in terms of the valuation of each crypto will still be ignored by people who follow investments just because of FOMO.  Like me, sometimes I take investment choices that are stupid enough to buy assets at their peak prices and suffer losses later.  In fact, in making investment choices there must be a strong basis to support our analysis.
512  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese construction Mega-Bankruptcy. Evergrande about to crash for 355B on: October 10, 2021, 03:49:00 PM
The Chinese government, the latter, has always been totalitarian. The truth was showing signs of maturity and partial support for market rules. But totalitarianism does not tolerate freedom, which began to break through in everything and everywhere. Therefore, the most anticipated turn of events is "tightening the screws", a decrease in freedoms, an increase in totalitarian methods in management. Well, as a result - the curtailment of the economic "miracle"

Honestly, in this case, I don't look at any relation between totalitarianism and the Evergrande problem. When this problem didn't handle by the government then this will cause the biggest multiplier effect for their country especially in the economic sector. If I compare, the scale of Evergrande's debt with my country's debt, the result is Evergrande's debt is bigger. So I conclude that this is not a simple problem that can be handle by Evergrande. When they default, this means they are in the trouble and have been the national issue. There are many banks affected by this case, but there is my curiosity which hasn't answer yet, Why did the government never warn the Evergrande about their debt? as we know their government is too authoritarian, so why this case never be touched by them?

Indeed, if we only look at the graph once we will conclude that.  However, as a good analysis, moreover the variables being measured or compared are variables that have very many supporting factors, so it cannot be concluded that it is that simple.  It is true that the growth of BTC users has increased and one of the reasons is supported by the El Salvador government's decision, but it is not significant enough to support that the use of WU and MG has decreased due to this policy.  As other users have said that if you drag the graph further the reason is much different.  Because it is true that if the comparison period is as short as that, the results will be biased.
515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: October 09, 2021, 02:43:51 PM

Not really. Crypto currencies (bitcoin) isn't really illegal in many countries. Only just few countries decided to ban the usage of crypto currencies. Most of them are underdeveloped countries that has no proper framework to regulate crypto currencies. Hence, they put a ban so that people don't use it for corruption (even though their government are the corrupted ones) or any illegal activities. But people still use it over there since the government has no way to track them. Look at Nigeria. Central Bank issued a ban. People still do p2p  trading and yet no one faced any trouble. They will eventually lift those bans once they get a proper understanding of how crypto currencies work.
I also feel that way, only a few countries have declared a ban on crypto.  But the rest is gray.  Like in my country, all types of currencies other than Rupiah will be considered commodities as well as crypto.  The government is only a regulator who simply reminds the public to invest wisely and not be trapped by the bubbles created by the crypto market.  Because it is very unfair for the community if the government is so strict about prohibiting it without any strong reason and as if it was made up.  Because people still have the right to choose the investment they want to do.
516  Economy / Economics / Re: How has inflation affected your savings and investing? on: October 08, 2021, 05:07:47 PM

This is exactly why I moved to freelancing. There are two options of making more money in the freelancing world, either you charge more and earn more if you can find someone to work with, or you end up getting another job on top of your current job and start working two jobs which will pay you significantly more.

Talking about saving and our income from a job is very closely related. However, we should all agree that the income generated based on projects or freelancing is much greater than working in office hours. Moreover, talking about inflation that haunts all lines, especially for workers who work 8 hours of work. They receive wage increases that are not even able to cover the level of inflation or at least equal inflation. And this often happens in my country.
517  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: October 07, 2021, 04:37:44 PM
Found a chart of all MicroStrategy BTC investments:

If you look at this graph and analyze the MicroStrategy investment methodology, you can say that they are acting very competently.

After looking at the chart of Bitcoin purchases by Microstrategy, it makes sense that this will have an impact on increasing the MSTR share price when the crypto market is bullish.  When BTC price conditions strengthen, their shares also strengthen.  Their investor psychology will always associate the company with BTC price conditions.  Their consistency in buying BTC as an investment gives a change in the structure of assets on the company's balance sheet.  Fundamentally, investors will see the value of the assets they have, so for stock investors who want to try new things in their portfolio but don't want to be directly in the crypto market, MSTR shares are very suitable to be owned and this is quite different from other companies that are also listed on the NASDAQ  like Greyscale.  MSTR's operational focus is not BTC, they are just companies interested in trying new types of investments.
518  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent inflation or "just temporary" on: October 07, 2021, 02:35:07 PM
The government's policy in almost all countries during this pandemic is to print money, but the impact that is currently haunting us is inflation.  This inflation condition is seen in its severity.  I myself predict that my current country looks fine.  However, the condition of very high debt does not rule out the possibility of default.  There are as many instruments to deal with inflation as the US is currently doing in the tapering off.  Due to very high amount of money they limit QE.  We can only secure the assets we own by avoiding storing them in fiat.  Because if we all realize, fiat has no value at all in the future.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 06, 2021, 05:08:07 PM
The easiest opponent for Tottenham so far is Newcastle. All of Tottenham's opponents are stronger than Newcastle. Either way Tottenham must win this match. If they want to go to the up of the points table. If they can't beat Newcastle, they won't be able to win against West Ham either. West Ham has been performing very well this season.

Spurs defense is the main problem. Usually they defend properly but in game against Arsenal they were horrible. Newcastle have a very good attacking line with Maximin, Almirion and Joelinton who could give some problems if not defended properly. Main strategy for Spurs should be to get as much goal as possible and defend that. Spurs have an amazing line , its just that some are not performing but its time to shine. I expect Kane to open his account in this upcoming PL match.

It's true that Tottenham's game this time is against a lower team but if they ignore a strong defensive strategy, I think they will still be easily beaten by Newcastle.  Spurs can't always rely on Kane to score goals and give the team the win so whatever they want to achieve must be based on good cooperation.
520  Economy / Economics / Re: Future economic fear of the rich and poor. on: October 05, 2021, 04:09:39 PM
The rich people have also fears of loosing their investments but they still have all the chances to acquire them again knowing they have the money and resources that will always give them an edge from the poor ones.

The level of fear of people who have money with poor people is very much different.  The disparity between the rich and the poor is enormous.  Worry in the rich to be poor, it's only a percentage of the poor who even food for tomorrow he doesn't know what he will eat.  As hard as it was for the rich, they could still eat and sleep well.  On the other hand, there is the poor who struggles to be able to eat and sleep well tomorrow.  I would love to have the opportunity to help a very poor family to make their economy more stable through crypto, but this is not an easy matter because crypto is not a magic thing that can make the poor rich overnight.  There is a long process.
