If you mean solo mining to your own personal node - thass another story.
AFAIK the more recent versions of Bitcoin Core (the node software) no longer supports that so the pool operators do some addition coding for it to work.
Thats wrong, bitcoincore does support solo mining. After the changes in the gbt protocol, cgminer and ckpool could not decode the gbt right, because of the changes made in bitcoincore. Using bitcoincore 0.18.1 does still work with the last version of cgminer for solo mining. So until no greater change in bitcoincore is made, you are fine using that for solo mining. The changes are documented in bitcoincore and could be implemented into cgminer or ckpool for beeing up to date. |

The 3.88V could be anything, without knowing the origin of it. The Mosfet need a negative voltage (or a negative offset) so you should begin to draw some sort of schematic for fault finding.

Mal eine Frage in die Runde.
Damals wollte ich mal einen Yesminers Gruppenkauf erstellen, da ich mir selbst auch Miner kaufen wollte.
War ein verlockendes Angebot und bis wir alle es im Forum als Scam erkannt haben, hat es eben ein paar Tage gedauert. Der Mist hat mir damals zwei negative Trust gebracht, was ja auch verständlich ist. Ich hätte auch nie Geld kassiert, vor allem fließen lassen an yesminers wenn ich nicht 100% sicher gewesen wäre (Testgerät in meinen Händen hätte).
Aber die User sind seit 2015/2016 offline und können die Situation nicht mehr berichtigen.
Wer mich kennt weiß sicherlich das ich einer der alten Hasen bin der niemals einen Scam unterstützen geschweige selbst scammen würde. Die zwei Trust regen mich aber persönlich auf und daher die Frage ob und wie man die irgendwie loswerden könnte...?
Irgendwelche Ideen?

OK, I now add the connect= entrie to both core PCs, and now it works.
Maybe I was to stupid to choose the right one.
Now the Core24H connect to the wallet core PC in the bitcoin.conf.
That works now, and I will report, if that is now quicker or not.
I was maybe thinking the wrong way! Sorry for that.
before:
bitcoin.conf only changed on the walletPC connect=core24HPC
walletpc => core24H
does not work
after:
bicoin.conf changed on core24H connect=walletPC
core24 => walletPC
works fine
I removed the connect entrie on the walletPC, and the connection works still fine, so this must be done
from the sender side, not from the receiving side.

I also use bitcoin core . Is there a command, addnode or so that i can help you with, from the configuration of my wallet? thank you for your offer, but no. I allready use addnode for the 24H Core PC, and that is not my problem. |

thank you for the reply, yes, my Nodes allow incomming connection. The conf is loaded, If I watch Debug/Network connection, the ip of the core24H PC pops up, then went away, and no connection/transfer is made. But, if that will not help me to speed up the sync, then I can stop right here. Reason is, I do not use the wallet so often, sometimes once a month, and that take forever to sync over the internet because of my poor internet speed. So I was thinking, let use the other 24H core and sync from there. [main]

Hello all,
maybe a stupid question, elswhere allready answerd, but I could not find it.
I got two PCs running core, one 24H and the other just if needed for my wallet.
I want that the wallet PC only connect to my 24H Core PC dircetly and update the blockchain.
Reason is, I think that speed up my update.
Both PCs are in the same local network.
I tryed it with 'connect' in bitcoin.conf, but the wallet just connect to the internet.
I also tryed 'addnode' but that does also only connect to the internet.
Maybe someone can write down the needed conf entries, to do the wanted connection.

That might be right, but I would never trust such a firmware. Most of them make use of the api (thank you for the excelent API-Readme in cgminer). But hiveon secured it extra, so blocking of their comand and control IP, stops the mining in total.
My solution for that is, do not use it. If someone want a change, compile your own version, all Information are out there in the wild, you only need the will to do it (don't be lazy).

Ich hab im Dec 2020 LTC von Bittrex zu Coinbase senden wollen. Es kam nie an, sitzt auf der Blockchain und Blockcypher mit einer anderen addresse als UNSPENT. Mein fehler war, ich hab bei Coinbase auf RECEIVE geklickt in der Litecoin wallet, und die Coinbase haben BTC angezeigt und ich hab diese BTC emfangs-adresse dann in Bittrex eingegeben. .Ich hab diese kleinen feile nicht gesehn , wo man die entsrechende coin aussuchen muss, dachte es waere die Litecoin adresse. Bitte, ist da jemad der mir helfen kann? Es waere eine riesen hilfe!! Ganz lieben Dank schon mal, Christina
Hallo Christina, deine LTC wurden also an eine BTC Adresse gesendet, verstehe ich das richtig? Wenn das so ist, und das LTC Netzwerk hat die Adresse angenommen, sind deine Coins futsch. Es sei denn, du hast den privat key zu dieser Adresse. Leider hast du weder die Adresse noch den txid gepostet, so kann niemand hier nachsehen ob das so ist. |

Eventuell mußt du diese Zeile auf dem BananaPi weglassen, da es ja keine Boost im Repository gibt:

Auf dem PI3 unter screen (hatte ich vergessen zu verlassen) hat das ganze ca. 2 Std. gedauert.
Ich habe dann einfach ./bitcoind gestartet und es ging echt Problemlos.
Kein Konvertieren, keine Reorganisation Notwendig.
