501  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: August 25, 2016, 10:20:05 PM
I already quit my job 6 months back and now I am a full timer in bitcoin and earning good in compare to my job and I can work any time I want, there is no fix schedule to follow unlike the full time job.

It sounds nice, but do you have the same income like when you do your old job?
Or does being a full timer in Bitcoin is even better than working on your old job?
502  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: August 25, 2016, 02:19:44 PM
I think I won't do that, I don't even have a job now because I'm still a student. But I think if in the future, I do have job I still won't do this, except if my job is a Bitcoin related job.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is there to do with bitcoins these days ? on: August 25, 2016, 01:43:49 PM
Bitcoin is money, if you ever have a money than you must know what to do. You can just keep it safe till the price goes up, or you can spend it for buying anything you need. You just have to treat it like fiat, and you will know what to do.
504  Other / Off-topic / Re: Steady Way To earn Bitcoin Online... on: August 25, 2016, 12:44:36 PM
If you're talking about a "steady" way to earn Bitcoin online, then it won't be gambling nor trading. It would be mining or any other investment, even tho you won't earn much from it but you won't also lose much from it.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: August 24, 2016, 12:47:02 PM
Gambling is a game that uses money to play it, and I don't think that gambling is an investment considering that investment is
Quote
An asset or item that is purchased with the hope that it will generate income or will appreciate in the future.
And because gambling is not the asset or item that we buy to make a profit, so that's why gambling is not an investment for me.
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling is Fun? on: August 24, 2016, 12:39:58 PM
Because gambling is pumping your adrenaline, and as we know that adrenaline is highly addictive. Let's take an example, if you ride a roller coaster you will certainly fear, right? But after that you will definitely want to ride it again, that's what adrenaline is.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitch Re-adds Bitcoin Payments on: August 24, 2016, 12:28:41 PM
But I wondering if we as the watcher subscribe or tip the streamers, will they accept the money as Bitcoin or as USD or any other currency?
If turns out that the streamers will accept the money as USD, is there any option that they can accept it just as a Bitcoin?
508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's get GOG.com to accept Bitcoin on: August 24, 2016, 12:21:32 PM
I knew this site before even though I never actually buy something there, but if there's a thing that supports Bitcoin in the gaming industry I will definitely support that. I'm sure that we certainly can do this, just like what we did before with Steam.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to profit on Bitcoin escrow services? on: August 23, 2016, 10:16:53 PM
Escrow is not that profitable because usually, the fee of escrow is just 1% which is so low. But if you got a request for escrow service with a big amount of money (like 1BTC), it could be profitable.

I think it is possible to profit on bitcoin escrow services and take the fees from it, although it will need much time and will be hard because the most difficult is get believe from users. You must be patient if you are realy will make its services.

I think you both, didn't read the OP and other comments above properly.
OP is not asking about that type of escrow or being a escrow provider.
he's asking some kind of bitcoin trading which built in some type of escrow. I my self didn't tried these type of services to don't know how much it is profitable or not.

You're actually right, it was my fault. But I thought the OP talking about Bitcoin escrow service in general, but it turned out the OP talking about the other thing.

511  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Receive BTC on: August 23, 2016, 10:59:10 AM
can you give us the wallet address where you sent your funds so we can check? don't worry we couldn't hack you just by knowing your bitcoin address so you don't need to hide xD

Guys you dont belive me. I waited 9 hours and now i got my BTC. Thx for helping guys Cheesy. Thought its takes only 10 minutes to get a transaction but 9 hours...

Maybe your fee was too low, that's why it took a long time to be confirmed.
Could you please give us the transaction id or the address so we can check what happened.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / How to transfer the ownership of a Bitcoin address? on: August 22, 2016, 04:45:25 AM
So I just recently interested on Bitcoin vanity address, and I generated some cool looking address. And then this idea came out, how can I give or sell people these vanity addresses that I've found?
Is it possible to generate an address and then give the ownership to someone?
Is there any way that I can remove the first private key and then my friend make a new one for himself?

Because I've found the answer, I'm locking this thread to avoid spam posts.
513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin" is the hottest topic for me.. on: August 22, 2016, 01:24:02 AM
I think no because I believe the hottest topic for now is "Pokemon GO"
But according to Google, you can see that "Instagram" is the most searched topic in the past 5 years.

And this is Bitcoin's

514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The ‘Bitcoin Family’ One Year Later on: August 22, 2016, 01:13:24 AM
A year ago today, my family was featured in a Motherboard Vice article called “Meet the ‘Bitcoin Family.’” Since that time, my two sons have learned a whole lot more about Bitcoin and are fascinated by their father’s work as a cryptocurrency journalist.

Learning About The Tools of Liberty at a Very Young Age

My son Joshua is now seven, and Franklin is three, and we often discuss the Bitcoin industry that surrounds my life. As a journalist and graphic artist, our family has lived off the Bitcoin economy for close to two years now.

You make a discussion about a Bitcoin industry with a seven and three years old boy? Are you sure about that?
Can they understand what you're talking about? Because you said that you introduced Bitcoin to them a year ago, which means when Joshua was seven and Franklin was two.

516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It will be more beneficial if an Online Bitcoin Store start Signature Campaign on: August 20, 2016, 09:16:47 PM
That's actually a nice idea, we all know that Bitcointalk has so many members to be a potential buyer. But the problem is, how can we convince them to put an advertisement on this forum.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: August 20, 2016, 01:29:36 PM
What if POKEMON GO let people sell the pokemons they caught for fraction of Bitcoins?

Imagine this:

A person caught a Pokemon and sell them for 0.0003526 BTC

People who collects Pokemon can buy them on the online marketplace.
People from all over the world would have exotic rare pokemons for sell on the marketplace.

That would be nice to get people know about Bitcoin, I will surely support it if this could really happen. Thing like this is similar to Steam Community Market, where people around the world can sell their items in game and the other people can buy it. But with Bitcoin it could be better because you can easily use the money after you selling it.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need your Opinion on this guys! Please help. Best BTC WALLET for you. on: August 20, 2016, 01:17:41 PM
You don't really have to make a thread just for asking this kind of question, because there are already some peoples asking the same kind of questions. You just need to use the search box or you can also use Google if you don't like to wait.
519  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: August 19, 2016, 11:17:25 AM
I will like it when btc is cheap, so I can get rather more btc. I don't like it when btc is expensive, so i could get a few coins.

That's the risk you have to take when you decide to accept Bitcoin as your salary, you just have to keep trusting on Bitcoin so you won't regret later.
520  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo or blockchain? on: August 19, 2016, 10:58:39 AM
I more prefer Blockchain.info, because if you use Xapo you can't import your private key, they will keep your private key instead (which means you can't sign a message with your Bitcoin address on Xapo).
And the other reason is, I just feel more freedom when I'm using Blockchain.info as my online wallet.
