503  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Nexious.com- Premier Mining Pool - Pays Tx, PPLNS, Live Statistics! 0% Fee Promo on: September 24, 2015, 12:11:26 AM
I would think all new pools must go through the same thing. Most miners are wary of putting too much of their money/ mining resources into a new pool that has no track record of block completion or pay-outs, its human nature.

I want to support this pool for the same reasons you created it in the first place. Also I have put a fair bit of hashing power in and would love to see a return on that.

The pool needs to get its first block done for it to be able to grow. I'm sure that some of the 500 users will come back for a second look. I am not able to keep my miners on the pool 100% but will be pointing them here as and when I can. I will also rent some hash in the near future as I have some BTC at MRR to use.

Nexious- A block finders bonus is an interesting idea, might entice some bigger hash rate users in.
In the meantime maybe renting to boost the pools hash rate might be a start.

Now's the time to do whatever lucky dance floats yer boat or drink a beer to the Bitcoin Gods to bring us some luck.  Smiley

I completely understand that, only problem is that Nexious can't get a track record as such without finding a block Tongue

I am looking in to the idea of a block finder bonus, just need to sort out what I can afford (server bills were just due) then investigate escrowing the amount or something to prove that I can pay it etc. As I don't want to be like all the other pools I have seen that offer similar and things go down hill.

I have been renting a bit of hash here and there to try and boost it up Smiley

I would love to see this pool thrive. I would have thought for sure something would have come up by now. I think you are on the right track on getting users we just need to find a block. Once the blocks roll in the users will start to flood. I mean at our current hash rate it will take 173.36 days to find one block. If you have been up two months we are down to 110 days give or take. I am sure one will come when is hard to say. I don't want to see the pool go any where for lets hope something happens.

Well I send them out soon after I can use the BTC from the block, 101 confirms.
But if I'm asleep - yep has to wait until I wake up Smiley
I often stay up an extra hour or 2 to do a payout, but if it ends up being after ~2am it usually has to wait.
These 2 will both certainly be during my awake hours Smiley

Sweet glad to know. I don't wanna keep you up though... Sleep is always a good thing! Maybe we can hit a third for the day that would be awesome!

I know was awesome to see that block come up so quick. Always makes up for the long ones for sure. Will we get s double pay out today for the two blocks found? Or will it be one today one tomorrow. Just wondering. going to use my earnings to purchase another miner LOL. Just need another 5 bucks worth. Then I will pointing another 1ths towards the pool.
508  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS (10) Bitmain Antminer S4 on: September 23, 2015, 10:12:46 AM

Whomever purchases these needs to look at the background in those pics.

I wish you well in selling your gear OP and I was interested until I looked at the price and saw the pics.

You cannot keep miners in such conditions and expect them to last long.
Further, you certainly should not keep them in such conditions and then sell them for over top dollar.

Specifically, the lack of filters and high RPM fans on the S4 pull every bit of crap laying around and lay it in patterns across the hash boards. When you have humid periods the moisture mixes with the patterns of filth and becomes further pushed in nooks and corners of components.
Depending on the the exact makeup of the crap you have laying around versus what someone else may have is how fast the break downs start to occur.

Pull one of the S4s at random, pull the covers, and take a magnifying glass to begin viewing the side of the components which would be against the incoming flow of fans and you will begin to see what I mean.

If miners are kept in a dirty, filterless environment then expect to have early death.

Having said that you can clean them up and get filters on them sooner than later.
Unfortunately you cannot stop anything organic, such as rust, but you can stop other, milder organic growth, and remove the lager pieces of buildup.

YMMV, Buyer Beware, and on and on, but I have seen a buddy of mine make the same mistake.
#1 clean the area and keep it clean.
#2 Filter, filter, filter and you still have issues in any home environment, but not as bad as without.

I would be interested if it weren't for price and quality.
These should be priced much lower.

Good Luck and I hope you are clear to people regarding what they are getting.
How long have you had them and how many times have you pulled the covers?

I am not going to ask if they were kept in a positive or negative pressure environment...

I just saw this, and I'm really not sure what to make of it.  The conditions the miners are in, in the pictures, are not at all as you describe them.  They are not humid environments, nor are they dirty.
In front of the breaker, the humidity is always about 37%-40%, as there is a big dehumidifier about 6ft away.  As far as dirt goes, I don't really even know where you think it would come from.  There are 3 with asthma in the house, so if the air had dirt floating around in it, it would be well known and taken care of immediately.
In the bay, the area where the miners are was swept before they were put there.  Looking closely I do see a few leaves came in, but I doubt any got to the miners as they seem too far away for that.  As for humidity, the humidity in this area was about 48% all last week.  There is a 25ton, 7-axis custom CMM about 30ft in front of where the miners are.  It cost about 1 million dollars to make, and it is sensitive to temperature, humidity, dust, etc.  The whole room is controlled and monitored for everything, though I will admit that may have been slightly compromised while the door was cracked.
On top of all of this, the miners were only run in these places from 7pm Monday to 9pm Wednesday and Noon Tuesday to 5pm Thursday, to ensure they did not experience any damage during transport, and a final check for no Xs or -s in the ASIC reporting.  I don't think they could have experienced any damage in less than 3 days.  Previously all of the miners were in a server closet type room, which was air conditioned and had an exhaust duct that went out the roof. If you pay attention to the fan grills, you will notice they are all shiny and have no rust. The miners all down now, and will be until they are purchased.

I Believe the miner's are most likely in good working order. As for the conditions they look to be in pretty good shape.

Yes from the pictures they are for sure not kept in the best running conditions. I do not think they where in a 1 million dollar humidity environment. But I think they where kept in a normal house environment or garage environment. The grills do bring some questions though like how long they have been sitting in the garage. I mean the are shiny but the top one has a dead crispy looking bug attached to it. Looks like it has been there awhile. The bottom one also has a packing peanut stuck to it as well. Make it seems the miners where in the garage a lot longer than the seller would like you to know.

I am sure they are in good working order but should they be top priced, no they are used miners regardless where they are kept. Your asking to much and with the new s7's already coming out, this will bring even less people wanting to buy s4's, Why spend 6k on used s4's. Use the 6k to buy brand new s7's. More speed and they are brand new.

I really hope you get what you want out of these unit. but for me they are to high priced.

Nastypool currently has the lowest pool fee at 0.39%. Looks like the other pools made a pretty steep raise back to 1%.

I know every one should jump over to Nasty Pool with it having the lowest pool fees, best way to maximize your earnings for sure.

i had registered and get free 10ghs
can i withdraw without invest ?

also i want to ask, are this ponzi sheme ?

Yes you can withdraw off the 10ghs but it will take you a while. Better to invest at least .02 to earn a little quicker.

Is the a ponzi, No it is a game. Is there a possibility the game will end at some point in time yes. But not for the foreseeable future.  As always only invest what you are willing to loose.

We are happy to announce our referral system.

Here are the rules:
1.When a player registers with your reference link, you will earn 3% Ghs power of that player from their purchases from the "Shop" unless they keep the miners in the account's inventory.
2.Miners that have been purchased from "Trade" does not count for the reference system
3.You can be reference for unlimited number of new registers
4.Reference system is valid for only miners. Employee (engineers, technicians), cooling units and power supplies does not count for the references.

Could you please look into my issue that seems to have been skipped over. I would greatly appreciate it

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173617.msg12467451#msg12467451

The seems to be a repair bug with rented techs. I rented a tech to repair my 20ghs miner and my 10ghs miner back to full hashing. I purchased the tech for .00014 and went to repair both my miners. The repair started and the miners went offline like the pop up said they would. The 10ghs was going to take 8 minuets and my 20 was going to take 22 minuets. After the repair my rented tech was gone and my miners are still not repaired. I started both miners again but both miners are still unrepaired and the tech is gone after a hour as expected.

So I am out .0014 for the tech with miners not repaired to full ghs. Could you please look into this. User account Gecox22@gmail.com

Thanks

I tried connecting a zeusminer 6 chip or 1.5mhs and I am getting nothing but rejects. Is there anything I should do for low difficulty

As far as I am aware the Zeusminer is a scrypt ASIC? Dash uses the X11 algorithm so you cannot use it to mine Dash. I have just tried myself and was able to submit shares, correct me if I am wrong?

Your probably right didnt know dash was x11 LOL. trying to find a place for my zeus to sit ..;Smiley

Hi There,

I can confirm my accounts now has 0% fees. =)
but still haven't got that email confirmation yet though, I sent you a PM to confirm my email address.

Overall I love your dashboard and the UI on it. This the reason why i signed up the color scheme is also very sexy to the eyes.

Another Question. I also have some Dash miners but I can see the pool doesn't have anyone on it. Is it up?

Yes I did update your account Smiley Yes the Dash pool is up and we did find a block, you can use the same log in but you may have to recreate your workers on the Dash page. Also it uses Port 4444 for the stratum.

Also I will look into the email issue and try and solve now.
