501  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] G.ASICMINER-PT on: April 11, 2013, 06:00:15 AM
Why do G.ASICMINER-PT dividends come through so much slower than burnside's ASICMINER-PT on btct.co?
Because he can issue BTC on his platform while not having them/he has float that he can pay with.
He's also in a time zone where it's better timed for the dividend.

Indeed,
I will just change alias and payout address,
Please make sure that the person understands the conditions.
This is NOT a debt to me, I promised nothing and I will not promise anything.
Also the asset google docs is not up to date, most of our assets have been sold, all the loans have been cleared and paid back.

//DeaDTerra

About time for an update to the assets list maybe??

We would really appreciate it! Wink
Really swamped at the moment,
but I will try to get to it if I get some time over.

For the people who want to liquidate your position in the fund.
I am currently working on selling AM as quickly as I can while not crashing the market.
If you want out right this second I suggest doing a private deal with someone and transfering the ownership of the fund assets to that person.
Aka selling your spot in the fund to someone else.
I would be happy to support this and help you with changing payout address etc.
//DeaDTerra

DeadTerra, can you please explain how we can go about doing this?

As I understand it, all you need to do is find a buyer and contact D, asking to transfer your % of the fund to that person.

what's your humble best time estimate to get all of this sold and liquidated DT?
One indicator: when Gigamining turns into Teramining (depending on BFL), Teramining will then run for 9 months.
Yea so minimum of 9 months really.
Then we have some other shares which have yet to be listed on a exchange for example BTCMC.
//DEADTerra

Do you plan on making a payout this week?
Thanks!
Depends on how many AM shares we sell.

Matthew paid back the personal loan which he got from GBF and me.
He paid it within the pre determined amount.
Good trader

DeadTerra, did you claim shares of Gigamining? Angry
I did for my personal shares and I already receiving weekly dividends. It was easy.
I am currently looking for the a place to get it signed.
//DeaDTerra
I had good and relatively easy success using the US embassy. Took one hour and cost 50 USD.
I live in Sweden xD
I was currently looking at some lawyers who offer such services.
//DeaDTerra
Of course. That's why it's an embassy. There are no US embassies in the US. :-p

http://sweden.usembassy.gov/consulate/acs5.html
I meant more like I am a swede Tongue
I think it makes more sense to get a lawyer to sign it.

512  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: April 07, 2013, 10:00:59 AM
@DeaDTerra

What's with the doubling of shares issued from ~540,234 to  ~1,034,273. Halving all of our profits, and you making a quick buck on selling them all, whilst also driivng down the price of the shares for everyone else.

Care to make a statment on this, what seems to me, exploitve action of yours?

There's no halving of any kind. There's 100 million shares total. DeaDTerra merely manage a passthrough for the actual shares on MPEx. More people now hold shares through his passthrough.
I think you do not understand the nature of a PT.
As long as the ratio of shares backing the PT is the same as the shares issued there is no dilution.
Your shares are still worth 1 S.DICE share.
I have issued more shares as I have bought more shares on MPEX.

Hi Smiley
I currently have a deadmans switch activated.
If something were to happen to me a email will go out to one of my friends which I trust to liquidate all assets and pay out.
I am also considering placing Jon on this list, as it might be easier for him as he has direct access to the assets.
//DeaDTerra

Hope that 'man in charge' will check first if You are still alive before dumping shares on the market.
I think the whole procedure should be revised and make public to polish it.

Of course, he will try to contact me and I have several weeks to respond to the emails from the deadmans switch.
He also has my phone number and such so he would call me to check that's going on.
It's all very unlikely to happen.
I would prefer not publishing it online as it might be abused somehow.

845 Satoshi has been paid per share.
//DeaDTerra
Is this because of the bad luck from the month of March?
Yes I would say so,
S.DICE is a gambling company hence the profit will be random and sporadical.
But they still have a edge which means over time they will in average go with profit.
This month was not as good as the previous once in terms of luck.

518  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BETA]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: April 04, 2013, 08:55:40 PM
Announcement:

Dear Customers

As you all know, we temporarily changed our commission rates a few days ago.
The lag on MtGox engine was eating our profit in big chunks and we even ended up some days making a small loss (we much more prefer to make a small profit than a small loss!). We understand MtGox has to deal with their own increase in users as much as they can, and this is in no way a critic of their service.
As a matter of fact the lag, which can sometimes arrive to several minutes doesn't allow us to promptly execute the orders coming from our customers and when this is originating a loss we prefer to take it in order to keep our customers happy.
We understand our success depends on this and we don't mind ending a day having made no money, but with the certainty of having put another brick on the wall of our community.
In other words we prefer to focus on the long term, even if this is sometimes painful.

To make a long story short ,despite our arrangement the situation kept getting worse on the MtGox side (yesterday was a really painful day) and thus we are obliged to make a further small adjustment as follows:

-10% of generated lending interests (no change)
-0.5% of the whole amount of trades made on Mtgox (no change)
-0.1% of the whole amount of trades made on Bitfinex (this was taken down to 0% a few days ago on a marketing effort that happily paid back, keep reading below...)

Last but not least we are proud to announce that the amount of transactions made on our platform is increasing by the day.
They are still a small percentage of the total (pushing 20%), but we keep believing in the fact that our customers will soon realize that we offer a better service than any other trading platform at a fraction of the cost.
We promise we will keep them as low as we can, as we want you to be as profitable as possible with us
:-)

That's all folks, more and more news are on the pipeline.
Stay tuned and let us know if you have any questions.
Back to coding.
Raphael
Bitfinex Team
Congratulations!
Keep up the good work,
I for one am happy to pay a bit more for you service Smiley

Nice to see a big payment Cheesy

Agreed, DT is doing an amazing job with the recovery.  Out of curiosity, what is paying us back the most?
At the moment AsicMiner is generating most of the paybacks Smiley
So say thanks for FriedCat he has really saved our asses.
//DeaDTerra

Hi DT
Hope you are doing well! Any updates? I guess 2 more payouts from ASICMINER have been received but can't amount to much just yet due to the low dividends as they are reinvesting. What are the other avenues of getting funds returned - anything we can do to help?
I am going to start selling off some more ASICMINER and aim for another payout next week.
