From un known...

Challenge Accepted.

I don't appreciate the way it was accomplished, better to be done sooner than later though.
502  Other / Obsolete (buying) / Re: Spend a few minutes and get 0.005 BTC for free. on: June 21, 2011, 12:24:14 AM
is the bitcoinbonus problem related to MTGox or something else?
503  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Way to earn some bitcoins on: June 20, 2011, 06:17:18 PM
I was wondering when this would show up.

I thought of doing this myself.

Block explorer shows no transactions on first and last acct, didn't bother to check the rest.
504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you are leaving mt gox, how will you withdraw your funds? (cash or btc) on: June 20, 2011, 05:43:28 PM
Cash out the cash and bitcoin out the btc, no exchanging.

But it depends on how the market swings, and I might put more in
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Those Who Ask For Donations - Have You Ever Received Any? on: June 20, 2011, 05:36:15 PM
I have not gotten any donations to myself.  There was a .01btc donation to my btcdish (like a penny dish at cash register). I have put a few bitcents in it, and instawallet admin accidentaly put 6btc into it, some random person took it, and has not returned it to my knowledge.

I have made a few bitcoins off my referral links.  I have them all listed on one page, too many to list in my sig.  Most profitable are bitcoinbonus, and sldoubler.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ALL mtgox password has been compromised, change asap, everywhere you used it on: June 20, 2011, 02:01:46 AM
We don't know which accounts were really used. For example, do you really think "testuser" has a lot of BTC floating around? I would love to know the account balance to each of these now compromised accounts.

A great lesson in web security!

So, MtGox does not us salt... It's really bad. The only good thing they can do is to reset all passwords and revalidate accounts through emails. But in case of passwords that match email ones situation becomes even worse...

No, that list is a list of cracked passwords that were salted but were so stupidly easy that they got bruteforced in no time!

don't see mine in there.

I'm still wondering if the DB contains my old pw or new one.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is good for Bitcoin on: June 20, 2011, 01:46:03 AM
and if bitcoins used in illegal activity are traced back to you, theres some plausible deniability.
508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gmail unusual activity on: June 20, 2011, 01:44:27 AM
someone on reddit posted a photo of the hashed passwords, with the clear text password next to it.  the clear text is only the first two characters then blurred out.
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Data proves Bitcoins are dropping to 0 on: June 20, 2011, 01:35:20 AM
too late to get in at .01 now.
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Place your bets: the price of bitcoin after Mt.gox opens on: June 20, 2011, 12:07:15 AM
I think it'll be around $10.  Put lots of people are taking low numbers I'll put my bet on $33

512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox UPDATE on: June 19, 2011, 11:56:46 PM
got an alert from google, someone's been trying to log into my gmail acct.  That is on the MT.Gox database.

My gmail pass was different, and I have changed it.

this is a reminder to me to go around to all the sites and change the pw.
513  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is BitCoinPlus a scam? on: June 19, 2011, 11:49:04 PM

I'm still waiting for bank acct confirm, its been over a week
515  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Did BTC really just hit 1 cent ?? on: June 19, 2011, 10:30:50 PM
More interesting in that case is the fact that one wallet can kill the market and set the price to 1 Cent.

After thinking over, i will place some buy orders in different prices. Maybe sometime a drunk owner of a similar wallet will place an panic-sellorder  Grin

(after thinking over a second time, i should not tell this anyonen if i would believe to get rich with bitcoins)

Greetings

I have that set up on one of the exchanges, I should make it more reasonable though.

THIS MAN IS A SCAM ARTIST.

They've used sockpuppets, used CSRF to gain money, and the site "they" are promoting has huge security risks. STAY AWAY.

Scammer used this to get upvotes on witcoin too
