Anything particular behind the price rise? More than doubled value vs. LTC on Cryptsy in the last month.

I agree with your reasoning behind the use of $hyper
Agreed - #hyper could be virtually anything I guess. (Sorry I'm just used to everything on Twitter being "#"!) ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

So we're using $hyper not #hyper? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)

Oops no, don't know who that is but I'm @IndieGameNews1! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I love the way that when I buy HYPER, it's in my wallet and confirmed in literally a few seconds.

Your game sounds awesome, maybe you can release a beta with just one early playable level or something? That would be cool.
Actually there's been a demo around for a long time - which can really be regarded as a "beta" I guess since one of the reasons development is taking so long (apart from a string of real-life issues with health, house moves, expanding families and secular work) is that we have been upgrading many elements that were initially put into the game as we go. The old demo (winner of the Best Demo Award at the AGS Awards 2012) gives you a good taste of the game style, puzzle types and silly humour though. You can download it HERE.

Good to hear about the new games in the pipeline!
My own GP-sponsored game Captain Disaster in Death Has A Million Stomping Boots (not an online game using the currency - rather one sponsored with some GP given to help with production costs) is progressing nicely, albeit rather slower than we'd hoped due to real-life issues and lack of time for myself and my co-dev. However we are getting ever closer to getting the thing finished and release - it's been a long journey and there is still some way to go, but the GP sponsorship definitely helped - I was able to exchange some to Amazon gift vouchers via BTC which one of my musicians accepted as part-payment!
I'm expecting a new test build this week and want to get a new screenshot pack uploaded soon (we've updated a lot of the original graphics), and then within a fairly short period of time I'd really like to get a decent trailer put together and sent to the adventure game sites. Also our dev blog rather needs updating... too many things, too little time, but it's on my to-do list! Unfortunately like most indie devs I simply don't have much time to devote to my gamedev, and my two young children seem intent on keeping things that way - but though progress is slow, it is happening.

I think this is a good time to buy HYPER (I've been able to get a little, want to get more when I have some funds) - it's only a hunch but I can't see it staying this low for long. (Please no-one buy merely on account of my hunch though!!! I'm no expert in crypto by any means whatsoever!)
I'm afraid I can't give much of an update on my HYPER-sponsored game Troll Song, as the dev team have had to take a rather longer than planned hiatus from it (my two co-devs have been working in a stylish retro platformer called "Until I Have You", which is one to look out for if you liked arcade games such as "Strider" from the 90s - though there are many modern tweaks to it too!) - since there's no way I could feasibly continue development on my own, I decided to concentrate on other projects until they can come back to it. I will keep you updated as and when I have more news.

I've only just found out about these via an email from XAPO on "Xapo World" ( https://world.xapo.com/) - they have 4 free games for Android that let you earn BTC. I just wondered if anyone had tried them? I haven't installed any yet, I have been wondering about... - Earnings potential - Security risks - Battery usage - Advertising bombardment (Less worried about the latter two issues if the first is good and second not a concern!) Anyway, if anyone has tried any of these games (Space Bitcoins, Bitcoin Hunter, Wheel of Bitcoins, Bitcoin Wonder Machine) I'd appreciate your feedback.

A very worthy cause to support, hope all goes well.

(...) game using the tagline "Best Bitcoin Mining Game 2016". *img removed*
Worstest Bannerdesign ever! They could need a new designer. Best regards Christian I know, the colours made my eyes bleed! But I'm still curious as to why someone feels it's worth advertising now, as it seems like the site is well and truly dead.

Hmm... interesting. Someone's started a new advertising campaign for this game using the tagline "Best Bitcoin Mining Game 2016". Do they know something we don't? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fcoinad.com%2Fads%2Fuploads%2Fbanners%2FE6YDJL0149E0U.gif&t=663&c=Dhriq9LDMInatg)

For what it's worth, I'll add my vote for Ranlo.

Thanks for this, I'd been wanting to buy a new mine or two but been unable to afford to. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

What do you guys want to do with X-Coin ? Do you have a question or suggestion ? Let's work together on this one.
It would be nice if it were possible to get it on one of the sites that lets you buy gift cards with crypto. Possibly use in an online RPG (similar to the way Dragon Knights of Valeria uses HYPER, GP and HTML5). I dunno... just ideas from someone who is not particularly up on the technical side of crypto. Real-life uses and community seem to be the key things.

It would be nice if the wallet told you when staking will begin rather than just (to some - and I admit, including me) looking like it's simply not working.
That said, you only need to ask the question once, so it's not really a big deal.

Many thanks, I'll try that. Gah... didn't work. Have reinstalled, mainly boots up fine but can't get it to synch. This is what I have in GoldPieces.conf: server=1 daemon=1 listen=1 maxconnections=1024 rpcuser=user rpcpassword=pass rpcport=23461 addnode=176.24.105.181:23462 addnode=84.200.4.67:23462 addnode=59.100.29.2:23462 addnode=142.179.7.102:23462 addnode=173.54.201.49:23462 addnode=98.226.35.5:23462 addnode=149.202.137.169:23462 addnode=71.192.210.155:23462 addnode=73.141.89.114:23462 Any other nodes I should add? When I first installed GP a while back it just worked straight away so I've not needed to mess with this before. I didn't see your edit, sorry. Try these: Here is a list of peers I am currently connected to.
176.24.105.181:23462 84.200.4.67:23462 59.100.29.2:23462 142.179.7.102:23462 173.54.201.49:23462 98.226.35.5:23462 149.202.137.169:23462 71.192.210.155:23462 73.141.89.114:23462
Thanks - think your nodes are all the same ones I had. I dug through some of the earlier posts and found two more nodes. Don't know definitely whether they're what did the trick, but it finally started staking once I'd added them - in case it's of any help to anyone here they are: addnode=104.131.17.78 addnode=198.199.94.134 Currently 7 active connections. Looking forward to having my GP back! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)
