Hamilton rejected the new contract with Mercedes.

https://www.gpblog.com/en/amp/76027/hamilton-rejects-new-mercedes-contract-daimler-threatens-with-russell.html

Let's see how this story ends.

The things are going really interesting lately. Hamilton could even end his career now if he doesn't come to an agreement on his contract extension. Honestly, I would definitely love to see Russell at Mercedes from now on. But I like Hamilton too and it will be great if he gets his 8th championship and has the record alone. We will wait and see what will happen.

I think Hamilton is not stupid at all and he wants that 8th title really bad so in the end he will get whatever offer Mercedes offers him. After he gets his 8th title then he has the luxury to end his career if he wants but before that title it would be stupid of him to not sign with Mercedes.

I agree with you. I don't give any chance for L. Hamilton leaving F1 now. He has still a lot to do and I have no doubt that he would like to be the champion one more time before he retires. We still don't know how the contract negotiations will end but he won't end his career now.

It looks like Hamilton will to much and Mercedes don't will paid this. And at time he is no employment Form Mercedes anymore, the contract ends at the beginning of the year.

https://www.givemesport.com/1634601-lewis-hamilton-contract-mercedes-man-has-four-demands-to-sign-new-deal

Also i think Mercedes use Russell to make pressure at Hamilton he will cost about 1/10 from Hamilton.

Of course they use Rusell. It would be even worse for Hamilton if Russell won that race.

Now everyone knows why Hamilton changed the tyres.  Grin
502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: January 06, 2021, 12:10:43 PM
~And it's obvious that odds will change during a game because there's live game betting and odds will be based on what's happening in a certain match.
~

Betting on the events "In-play" is one of my fav thing to do. The odds are changing quickly, and you can make a good bet if you do it in the right time.  Wink

And most especially if you are watching the game, in play betting is quite very attractive for people who have a lot of time to focus on the games they are betting, and for me, I've done that sometimes and the result is positive per my observation.

Watching the game while doing in-play best has the best entertainment value. Especially with soccer when the lower ranked team scores first and then betting on the higher ranked team could get quick interesting sometimes. The odds will be much better at that moment.

Hold onto your butts. Please make sure the tray tables are stowed, your chairs are in the upright position, and your seatbelt is fastened.

EDIT: Oh Lawdy.

And then the whale buy some other coins  Roll Eyes

And then everyone is waiting for the BTC price to go up. lol
504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 06, 2021, 08:49:14 AM
Well Bitcoin recovered quickly of the small dip of the last days. Went down to $27750 and straight up to a new ATH $35000.

What a year this will be.  Cool

Indeed, some new guys that bought BTC and hear the whole buy and HODL strategie of me.... yeah what do I have to say,  against my advice some thought to sell high and buy low and trade and sh*t, they are burned already of-course, asking what to do best now etc .... LoL

People will not change

same here. some people i recomended bitcoin in the last year(s) now told me they want now to take profit and buy back lower. dont know how that worked for them?

Probably a lot of Americans will buy crypto with their stimulus cheques. Wondering how long they can HODL when their will be another dip. I guess most doesn't have such strong hands.

506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 06, 2021, 06:48:40 AM
I must admit that Since the Pandemic happens . all the Income i earned in crypto Signature campaigns goes to my daily needs, everything that i can save to survive is what will i do.

Though we are being advised to report in Office 2 week of january so maybe I may spend the gambling Payments for my gambling acivities again.

Anyway Og ,Nice Sig and Avatar .. Nice seeing you wearing pairs ..

For the ones who are in trouble through this pandemic this income is a good help. I don't know where you are from but in some countries the campaigns reward is a big amount for living.
Here in Holland the reward isn't that big compared with the daily needs.

as I said last week, it seems that it is difficult to start the world championship in Australia, due to the 14 days of quarantine provided by the government, but there would also be problems for the Chinese Grand Prix, so F1 is thinking of a plan B, that is, to move the grand prix of Australia and China or even to race in different circuits

I read that when the GP of Australia is cancelled the winter test will be done in Bahrein.

The first GP would be the one in Bahrein so they wouldn't have any problems with logistics and the change of good weather is bigger then in Spain.

508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest mistake you've made on crypto? on: January 05, 2021, 08:06:55 PM
I made a lot of mistakes in crypto but the most signifigant one is that i did not invest in some major projects out of inexperience and i did not belive in some altcoins as a bounty hunter i sold them too quickly and they ended up having big pumps.

Or just the other way around.

Investing in intersting projects which turned into a scam after the owners dumped all their coins as soon it was on the exchanges and left.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 05, 2021, 07:33:16 PM
I just voted for all three options in the pool. My current campaign (stake) pays the rewards directly to my gambling account which is actually why I like it. This way, I can use it to place bets on their sportsbook for both soccer and NBA matches. I also transfer some of my earnings from time to rime to my trading account in order to increase my trading capital since trading requires a tangible amount of funds in order to make reasonable profits. I mean, you can't make good trades with $5 - $20 kinda funds. I hope you get my point.

Finally, whenever I do need anything, school expenses or any other necessity, I do convert it to fiat and use.

It's smart of Stake to pay out to the gambling accounts. In that case most players will play with that money and they get a big part back.

With the current bitcoin price the minimum wd amounts are getting bigger every week so I guess not all players get paid the minimum wd amount so they have to wager or just wait for another week.

Lando Norris tested positive on Covid-19. Gladly for him it is not in the season and he got all the time to recover.

511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 05, 2021, 02:46:51 PM
Well most of the time I spend it on gambling. The amount that can be earned isn't that much but can be a nice start balance to go bigger. So I voted for 'Gamble it'.

And sometimes I play on the website of my signature but not all the time. Depends which signature I am wearing at the moment.

~

I am not quite sure what you mean by tab bar. Could you show me some example?

He probably means the tab in Chrome.

That's a great feature also. No matter which tab you are using, you always see the latest price.

yap that's right, check google chrome it called 'Tab Bar'
Usually, I let the tab/page stays open while using chrome, don't have to check the price and reload it every time because the price is always shown in the tab.

Yep, if OP add this feature and the possibility to change the currency I would start using this one instead of preev.

Maybe some more stats can be added to this project. The percentage of price change for the last 24h/7d/1month.

513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in another Bubble? when will it Burst on: January 05, 2021, 12:58:13 PM

Another Bubble?  The world has been asking itself this question  since the beginning of Bitcoin existence.

2011:

"Don't know much about economics and I can't make any educated predictions about the (complicated) future of Bitcoin, but it looks like it's increased in value by 600% in the past month and a half, which screams "bubble" to me.
posted by lostburner at 3:54 PM on May 18, 2011"

"Looking at the mt. gox exchange I see that bitcoins are spiking in value. This looks like a classic bubble.
posted by humanfont at 8:53 PM on June 3, 2011"

"It appears the Bitcoin bubble has burst. It's currently trading at under 14 Bitcoins to the dollar, down from over 30 in one day.
posted by gc at 7:39 PM on June 11, 2011"

Doesn't all of the above sound familiar in 2021, guys and gals?

Yep it is the same story we read everytime it goes up. This time it went up very quickly so we will see a normal correction.

We won't see it burst like a bubble. At least, that is what I hope.

$1000 claimed! Congratulation to Ivezevut4511 !

Wow that was quickly done by him. Congrats Ivezevut4511 .

Too bad I only hunt and with hunting you don't wager that much. Let's see if I can still grab some rakeback if I get my hit before the promotion ends.
515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have my 600$ stimulus check, good time to buy btc? I plan to hold for the short on: January 05, 2021, 08:38:12 AM
This is a hard one. Bitcoin raised very fast the last time so I expect a correction. So personally I would wait before investing it into Bitcon.

But it's hard to predict. It could also be possible that it will go straight to the $50k and stays there.

Just a small question about the VIP wheel.

You get the spins when you wagered an xx-amount the day before and the prizes are based on the wagered amount of the day before.

What happens when you didn't spin the wheel the day after but 1 week later? Will you the wheel prizes be calculated from the previous day or based on all the wagered from the last spin?
517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a high roller? on: January 05, 2021, 07:58:08 AM
Well I am only a high roller when I look to my old bets and compare them with the currect bitcoin price.

1.5 year ago I got this 5000sat hit on 9900x hit and if I check it with the current price I am a high roller. Back then it was just a good hit, nothing more.  Cool

Hamilton just wants a too big salary and a 4-years contract and they want to offer him a 2-years contract. I read that it's still ok when Hamilton signs his new contract in the last days before the wintertest at the beginning of March.
519  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinPrice.is - Real-time BTC <-> USD price conversion tool on: January 05, 2021, 07:24:30 AM
This looks nice. Normally I use preev.com to check the current price and for conversions.

It would be nice if you add any other currencies but maybe only euro to start.

Mostly I also visit preev every day because it is the most popular one for years.
Since I use chrome, one feature that I like from preev that hope you could implement on https://bitcoinprice.is/ is the price shown in the Tab-bar, as simple as that but really convenient to stay up to date even without having to click the tab to check the price. I prefer your site over preev though because it shows more than just the price.

I am not quite sure what you mean by tab bar. Could you show me some example?

Technical analysis is 99% hinged on the fact that history will repeat itself
History has never favored Bitcoin in January 👌
Will  January of 2021 be an exception or obey the tradition of History .
If history will repeat it self when will this bubble burst? 🤩🥳
Like the popular  saying Buy the  Rumour Sell the News

Shorters get ready..

NO, It’s Not a financial advice 😋

In my opinion a big correction is coming, after this correction Bitcoin will never be less than 20K again.

There will be a correction, that's for sure. The question is how big will that be? Will it be a normal correction because it raises so big in a short time or will there be a big dump and will be reach 15~20k again?
