501  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 05, 2015, 09:01:47 PM
Ok, so if they got them, how come there isn't any report about it, any conclusion. Cause if they scammed their clients, where is a solution for the problem, punishment? Do not get me wrong, I understand GAW scammed their clients but nothing s being done about it and as it seems now, they re distancing themselves from Paycoin.

They are doing something. It took them weeks (months?) to put together a case to take for approval to issue those documents. Then, GAW will have a period of time to reply and I'm sure their attorney will ask for an extension. So, if they had a month initially, that would have been till mid March... if they asked for an extension, that is likely till mid April... then the SEC has to go through all the material received in response to that request and other subpenas... and build their case. They'll also be doing interviews. It takes time to investigate and, unlike shooting someone in a park, fraud requires a lot more time to go through all of the documentation and available materials. BUT, thanks to crypto currency and the fact that they were too lazy to run their own email system... most of what they need is not under GAW control. The emails are all (mostly?) on google's servers, his phone has it's own trail, and both BTC and XPY block chains are public. Garza can try to distance himself all he wants, but that won't change what he's done in the past. They're not investigating what he might do in the future, they're investigating what he DID do in this last year.

I think they are beginning to realise they aren't getting anything from constand

https://hashtalk.org/topic/35748/important-coinstand-delta-beta

This is the scary thing... I'm sure those initial invites were the cream of the crop from a GAW-worship perspective and now they're openly complaining on a forum that USED to delete all bad posts and ban users.

AND...What in the world?  Order screws up and they get an email for trouble ticket, then hear nothing for 5 days... who would ever do any business with a company like that if they weren't desperate to spend their XPY?  AND, that's with how many users?  Maybe 12?  Maybe 20?

And, they're going to invite 500 people a day for how long? That is going to be a total cluster. Bet CoinStand is going to suddenly be 'updating accounts' for a couple days (weeks?) in the near future :-)

503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Wallets Worth Running to Earn Transactions Fees? on: April 05, 2015, 05:54:35 PM
Qora is putting out a new wallet tomorrow. It's a totally different type of coin built from the bottom up. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=881230.0
504  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A good wallet for a US bit coin person on: April 05, 2015, 05:40:49 PM
I have a coinbase account, but I use electrum local wallet software.  I have all the key stuff (like my phrase, password, ??) so I can 'recover' the electrum application if I need to rebuild it.

But, I loaded it up, generated some keys and saved off the public and private keys into another encrypting application that's not related to bitcoin at all. I use the generated public keys to receive bitcoin and then either import the address onto coinbase (as a paper wallet) or just open the electrum app on my system.  I actually don't like sending from electrum because I don't like the auto-generated change addresses. I'd rather send from coinbase, then export the change back to my 'paper wallet'.

I have coinbase's app on my phone because it gives me the current prices.

This whole thing is still going strong.  I wonder how long it will last.  Or how long people will still paying into it?

i see it is still going, i mean i wont go as far as to say that it is " going strong " but it does still have life no denying that much. Now how on earth it is still keeping alive and not delisted of the exchanges is something else i dont understand maybe someone can shed some light.  Huh
The reason is, that exchanges are run by greedy §&$"?%!*ers.
The fact that Crapsy, Trex and all the others did not delist it and instead kept and keep making money of this major scam should make people think. And it is not as if XPY is the only proven scam that has been pumped for weeks on those exchanges. Im surprised that BTER does not trade XPY, would be the perfect fit with their history of not only trading such coins but actively helping with the scams (e.g. BitBay).
None of these exchanges will ever see a single SAT fees from me.

I kind of have to agree with this. With paybase going down... and the coin-swap code may have been mucked up by the GAWsome developers.... if XPY were delisted, it would put an end to this journey. Especially if the private wallet isn't working right. Hope Josh isn't counting on XPY to pay his fines and fees. :-)
506  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 05, 2015, 04:23:58 PM
I hate to say it, but there is a way he could pull his chestnuts out of the fire... I won't post it publicly, but if anyone sends me a pm, i'll send you some info. I would like to know if it would work or not.

(yes, and I know that request isn't creepy at all... but there is no way I'm posting a solution for him to read... and I'm only going to respond to people with a posting history that is compatible with my concerns)
507  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 05, 2015, 04:14:01 PM
i dont think it was ever a pool. just a ponzi scheme that paid based on daily payments from pools that the hashlets were named after.

Thanks for the reply.

Okay.... so, I'm new to Qora and actually signed up to bitcointalk over another alt coin that I was watching. I'm syncing the current wallet right now (have the seed saved off)... if you need added power to test, I'm online and can run stuff if it's compiled. I have Java7 and Java8. (I'm on Win7 if that matters)
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | 100% POS | Assets | Names | Voting | Open Source on: April 05, 2015, 03:49:51 PM

I want to make meme's for Qora when I'm bored, like I do for the D-O-G-E.

Someone come up with a cute cuddly mascot for Qora, I'll do the rest. Wink

The Qora Koala?
Not sure what else is close. Tongue

By the way, does Qora mean anything? Is it the plural of Quorum for example, referring to consensus or voting?

I love Koalas... how about where the double slash is for the Q you have this guy hanging off of it instead

Also these tweets went out at 400am. What's the matter Josh? Can't sleep, too busy reminiscing about the good ole days when people were still buying into your scam?

Someone switched the hashlet feedback bot to the gawceo account?

https://twitter.com/gawminers

That one had been posting every other day, but went quiet about 5 days ago.

Maybe someone pointed out that the links go to a domain that's now redirected to btc.com where there are no reviews, so anyone who follows the link gets an error page?

MrCEO (GAWCEO as he was know back then) stated this:

I have been waiting for someone to do the math on this for weeks, and so far no one has done it.

This post is for all of those skeptics that keep challenging us on our claims that Zenpool is the most profitable pool.

Let's use some basic logic. When you say that “one company is more profitable than another,” what does that mean at this second, or over any time-frame? If Apple has a bad sales day, and our sales are better than theirs on that single day, are we now a more profitable company?

By definition, “most profitable” should mean over a period of time. What is that period of time?

Since they launched!

Let's do some actual math and settle this. If you’re up to the challenge, add up how much money Zenpool has paid out since it launched. Then do the same thing with any other pool over the same time-frame.

Zenpool is the world’s most profitable pool.  Smiley

As usual, "let's do some actual math" and failed to provide any numbers. I was tracking profitability for some time, and many others were doing that, so there is no question that ZenPool was the best-paying Scrypt pool per MH/s for about two months until mid-October, but only if you subscribe to GAW's definition of a pool represented by PNGs on their website. There was no way for outside miners to connect the the pool.

As for total hashrate - that's a whole different discussion. There was no information on the amount of hashrate aside from ~250 GH/s early on in August,  and no proof of Scrypt or SHA256 mining taking place.

Thanks, that's what I needed... a very long thread, but a lot of interesting information in it.

Short Version:
  • A person comparing hashpool as if it were zenpool think it's great (hashpool pays great? or his it hashpoints that had no declared value at that time?)
  • The first month paid well, then it went seriously down hill from there.

  • At the time of the posting (circa Nov 2014) zenpool wasn't netting squat (like a satashi/day), but Garza wants to go off gross returns (even thought 80%+ is returned to garza in fees)
Garza and other claim that average over ALL TIMES is important to new investors going forward (even through new investors will pay for hashlets and take years (centuries?) to even ROI on initial costs.)
  • Best post in the thread from a hashtalker "Math is hard" -- sums up the whole operation :-)

512  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: April 05, 2015, 02:23:13 AM
Serious question... srly SERIOUS.

Garza and company have repeatedly made the statement: That Zenpool is “The Worlds Most Profitable Pool." I have example of these statements from around Sept - Nov 2014.

QUESTION:
-- Has there ever been any stats of solid information released to back up this claim?
-- Is there any estimated any where showing the "profitability" of Zenpool at that time (or even just it's total hashing rate).
-- Was there any larger mining pools (for BTC or Hashcoins(?) or Paycoins) operating at the same time?

Doing some research... and 1400 pages is a lot to wade through :-(

Thanks

@liriks

Why? Without reason? Are you threatening me? Smiley You are not better than everyone else.

Hold on PEARSON1FIED, you and Liriks are on the same side. Liriks was insulting rawbot.

So where does that leave btc.com? HT folks were expecting it to be the next big thing and apparently it's not. Should we assume Mr.Garza defaulted on payments?

all of his old URLs are redirecting to BTC.com now... so, someone has paid the bill.

So, with all this shuffling and closings and sliding XPY from here to there... I've missed something...

WHO now has control of the pre-mined 12,000,000 XPY that was supposed to be used to build up the coin?

Was there any discussion of where this fund was going to and can you provide me a link to the discussion? Thanks.

Saw this mentioned in another thread. Downloaded wallet and have it caught up. But, I'm a newbie, is there a way to mine this coin on a humble home computer? Can someone provide me a link to how to do it?
517  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 31, 2015, 04:47:57 AM
I just received this in a PM

This is odd. So Carsen knew two weeks days ago he was getting screwed but then did a 360 yesterday? We should probably expect another 180 soon so that would make it 540. My head is spinning.

Just wait for the full 1080°

Didn't have to wait too long:

The new GAW theme song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGNiXGX2nLU

"You spin me right round baby, right 'round, like a record baby, right 'round"

(record = old style vinyl music storage device that preceded CDs)

While this is important, it isn't quite

Quote
Proof that GAWMiners owns/operates Coinstand.com

I can redirect a website to Google.com, that doesn't mean I own it.

That said, at this point it's pretty clear GAW does have an extremely close connection to coinstand, if not owning and setting it up directly.

My first thought was that the Feds took the GAWMiners server by search warrant, but not the domain name, so they sent the domain name to where they wanted to sheeple to follow and made up a story to cover. Would be so funny to see the response if a DOJ seizure notice is posted to the domain name in the future.... I'm betting they interpret that as ABSOLUTE proof that the DOJ has approved their system.
519  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 27, 2015, 07:48:24 AM
Well, now that I see the entire post from CoinFire it is obvious that he meant that Paycoin and GAW are completely clean and legitimate in every way, and that Paycoin will be striding happily alongside of Bitcoin in the future. Paycoin will be a shining example of how to do a Crypto currency "right" and Homero will likely receive the President's Innovation Medal for his brilliant work to make this masterpiece come to fruition and revolutionize the industry. They will be equals (Paycoin eventually pulling ahead of that dinosaur Bitcoin) , the dynamic Duo of Crypto, just like the imbeciles on HT are claiming.  Roll Eyes

Edit to add for those whose sarcasm detector is broken: /S

It makes me so sick to think the Republicans might get voted back in in 2016. Their first candidate out of the gates, Ted Cruz, is probably invested in XPY and posting as a shill on HT.  That's about his speed.
