501  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: NEW: Hashnest PACMiC V3 - 0.666 BTC/THS on: September 24, 2015, 09:41:03 AM
Anyone else having issues getting to the Hashnest website at all?

Yes, using app and very slow to load and then kicks me out. Have to login again and slow for a couple min and get kicked over and over. Sounds like a ddos issue and they are trying to filter legit requests. The data center that Kano and another pool uses is under ddos also. Prob related.

Thanks for the update, miners all connected back.

I don't think this is the appropriate thread to discuss the SP50, but
All owners split the revenue after costs and in 12-18 months liquidate the hardware and distribute to all owners. This box is very profitable at .15j and power at .02kw
show me the ROI math.  I can't see the machine to be profitable in a year even with 2 cent power from the calculators I've tried.

I don't think the SP50 or the S7 will ROI before the halving...

Really depends on price, I did the math at 45K for the box, if its closer to the 75K, then you are correct on the ROI. Lets see if they reply to me on pricing or anyone for that matter. Checking with a few people I know that run 500+th farms to see if they have got any indication of price.
504  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2900 TH] Kano CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: September 23, 2015, 05:30:48 PM
So anyone want to guess on the price of the new SP50 from Spondoolie? I have emailed them for a price, but nothing back yet. I'm guessing 45-50K based on cost per gh and the S7 as a baseline. Anyone know more about this miner's cost? Its 1/3 more efficient then the S7 at .15j

I doubt it'll be under $75K to start. Besides it is only for 'Bulk Customers', so no single unit sales.

At that price I wonder what bulk order is, 10 units? 5 units? Anyone want to go in on 10 units, I know a guy in Venezuela that has space and power at .02 kw. Maybe form a investment club, 50K per unit and sell 50 units. All owners split the revenue after costs and in 12-18 months liquidate the hardware and distribute to all owners. This box is very profitable at .15j and power at .02kw

Just thinking out loud

PACMIC v3 contracts aren't likely to "sell out" as Bitmain keeps replenishing them to the 30000 (appx) available level.
They MIGHT stop offering them once they switch to a v4 (S7 "based" type) contract.

PACMiC v3 is sold out. For a brief period last night it was displaying -2TH available.

FWIW, I'm about 40% paid back on my contracts after using autobuy to turn 20TH into 24TH.

I waited till they sold out, they turned auto-buy off last night and not repaying principal. I bought 100th and using auto buy have 134th now. At this rate it will take about 2 months to payback all the profit and principal. So far pretty happy and pretty good return.

Personally, I would like to see a range of PACMiC's offered at various prices.  This would allow the bigger spenders to get discounts on larger orders and allow the smaller players to play as well.  I understand this is probably not worth it to Hashnest, as a loan of .2 btc isn't very much, but I would imagine an influx of new users buying into the lower costing contracts could provide an influx of capital for them.  Although, it will probably only lead to more complaints and questions from newbies not understanding what they are doing, which would probably have the opposite effect of what Hashnest wants.

So I have a number of PACMiC's v3 that are set to auto-buy, has been working fine and no issues. But the way I understand it is when they sell all 30ph (only 150th left at this point), then auto-buy will be turned off for all and all earning will be paid back as principal plus profit. That should happen tomorrow or later tonight. Is that right? I think the only way you can attain the 25% annual ROI is with auto-buy on and all return of capital and profit went to buy more hash. I bought 100 Th over about 2 weeks and now have 133.5 after about 32 days(oldest is 32 days and newest is 12 days). So I got 33.5th for reinvesting my principal and profit payments. Once that gets turned off, it will just be paid back but ROI will fall to about 12% annually.

So I guess the real question is, is Hashnest turning off auto-buy when this last 150th are sold? I ask because they first offered 15Ph for sale, then when it was almost sold out, then added another 15Ph.

Thanks,

Can we get a restart please?  Wink

After the last 5 or so block, I'm expecting a 200-300% block, but wishing for under 200%. Can't win all the time and can't sustain 150%+ luck.....

Well everyone, it's been nice mining here, but I've had some hardware failures and the only chance for making any profit for me is a nice big jump in BTC exchange rate or to hit a block solo mining. I'm taking the latter. If I hit one, I might be back. Or maybe if I buy some new HW. Good luck y'all. Hope you don't miss my 2400 GH too much.

What hw you using to get your 2400gh? What's your power cost? Just curious.

Here we waits !!!
I do also prioritise the transaction(s) in the main bitcoind so that we should mine them if we find a block before anyone else confirms them.

Edit: P.S. the payout was sent 35 minutes ago

Confirmed by Bitfury Tongue

Ok so I had the "bit" part correct. Bitfury/Bitminter. Close enough for govt work Smiley

Here we waits !!!

I have a feeling that Bitminter will confirm this payment that Kano makes. The 2 top most profitable pools right now. Funny thing is that I rented 30th worth and sent it to Bitminter, about 2 hours after it started, my hash got them a block but i got very little since I was only 1 shift into it. Then they have a 2 day block and my hash ended at shift 13 and they only pay last 10 shifts. So I spent .25, found the pool a block and got .02 out of it. Kinda ironic, so got a feeling they will confirm this payment.

let the games begin!

Anybody want to make a bet just for fun, on the upcoming payment for block 374766.  I say we get a block confirming our own payment.

Bet you .25 we don't, 2 more confirmations before its matured......Not after the great run over last 5 blocks

With other words, it's in our all best interest if whe increase the Hasrate at CKpool?

Agree, I have all mine at Kano. We rally only need like 5ph to be paid daily or more but 5ph would pretty much seal the deal.

I don't get why not more people mine here. Second most profitable pool and you would be supporting the good guys instead of incompetent and greedy chinese miners.
http://organofcorti.blogspot.de/2015/09/september-13th-2015-mining-pool.html
I get that people like PPS but longterm they get more BTC at ckpool than on F2Pool or Antpool.

Maybe it is the UI? But  smart miners shouldn't care about that.

OK, so this is the second best pool to mine? Whick one is better?

My problem is that at antpool you get payed every day and somehow that feels better for me?

But, I will give a second try and when I move to my new location soon I will connect all my miners,
which is about 25Ths at the moment to CKpool and we'll see at the at the end of the month wich one is most profitable...

And the GUI, I like it, makes me thik of the old days when we had DOS, ow hated Windows 3.1 in the start, and 95, and 98 and.........

Well the stats say bitminter has been a bit better last 26 weeks but they just got 2 orphans this week so that will drop and Kano will be on top over 26 weeks. If you look at the link above, Kano is the best by far over 4 and 13 weeks. I did a 30 day compare with slush during the month of no fees and sent same hash to slush and Kano. Kano beat slush by about 10%. Just saying....

Publicity, knowledge, etc. People are Lazy.

People just google a pool and point it there or maybe they don't they just go with what the seller of their miner tell them. For instance Bitmain heavily push people into using Antpool since they can continue making money of the miner they build without spending a single extra dime.

They don't think 1-3% more is worth bothering or they don't even know they can get more. They get misled by AntPool saying 0% fee. So they think its the best. They don't understand no tx fee reward is quite significant and will be more and more as the block reward halves.

If everyone came to know of Kano/CK's pool, then it would surely get much more hashrate, but perhaps not before it get more hashrate first. Its not particularly interesting for people when you tell them its possible they won't get a payout for one week. Small pool mean variance and most people unconsciously flock to the bigger group. Basic survival impulse.

Maybe Kano can take up a collection for marketing, I'd surely donate. If all 175 miners on Kano chipped in .1 or so and Kano puts that to marketing, banner ads on BTC sites and maybe some press. I bet we can pickup 5-10 Ph. Especially since he can show the stats to back it up, look at the all time stats!!! Nothing beats real numbers to backup your marketing. With a 12-15Ph poll, the variance would be pretty stable and if the luck continues on this road, everyone would do better then Ant or F2.

I just deposited BTC into Hashnest but coins are not showing up in my wallet after 20+ confirmations.  I see in the Bitmain forum that many others are having the same problem.  Hopefully this is just a glitch, but for the time being I would suggest not sending anything to Bitmain until this is resolved.

I sent in 3 different transactions totaling 21 coin, set my transaction fee to .0005 and showed up in wallet within 20 min. No issues. If your sending transactions with min fees, it will be a while since there is over 100K transactions in the mem pool.

Do you even know what  means 20+ confirmations ?

This problem was in Hashnest, not transaction fees.

Today is yesterday's problem back.

No payment after block 374002
No payment for 4  blocks.

Yesterday there were 19 blocks with no payment which was paid until today.
Sorry, missed the 20+ confirms part. In that case, trans fee don't matter....

With that said, I have not seen this issue. I have sent in over 25 deposits within last 30 days and all of them credited after 2-4 confirmations. I am buying PACMIC v3, don't think that makes a difference since its same wallet.

exactly same problem as yesterdays Huh
cant buy GHS at low price..sucks
