501  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freewallet.org 100% Scammer , send out coin immediately ! [10 days not solved!] on: September 09, 2018, 07:33:06 AM
I know that you've been waiting for 10 days now for them to fix the problem in your account, but it's not advisable to open a new thread for the same issue since you can edit and update the previous one. Please lock the other thread if you want to continue the discussion here or vice versa.

After sending all the requirements, they still can't verify your account? Didn't they tell you why?

What's a bit unbelievable is that, they even asked you for your social networking account link. That should not be necessary because there are people who are really not using such sites (I know some people).

Whether your case will be solved or not, it should be a lesson. Use a wallet that let you hold your private keys next time. There's a saying in crypto that, if you don't hold the private keys of the wallet then you don't have 100% control over the coins/tokens inside it, meaning it isn't truly yours.

They are still not announced release date of full exchange in their app? Are they planning to burn tokens from exchanges fees profit as well?
There's no exact date given for the final launch, so far they only said there will be improvements in the coming months (see quote below). Just stay tuned for their announcement.

During the coming months, we expect to release incremental improvements, first in the Preview app and later on on the main one, along with a set of tools that will make the integration with the exchange easier for professionals.

In regards to burning of tokens, they said it's 50% of any token earned from their service fees monthly, so most likely yes, fees from the exchange are included. (TG links about the matter here)

I'm not really sure if I'll post it here or should I open a new thread so that it will be seen in the main post. However, it's about a suspicious update link on MEW as well, so I decided to post here first. (Based on the usernames, most likely it's the same person/people is/are behind this like the first attempt)

Woah a total of 91 posts of phishing link in my list (and still counting....)

505  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Transaction wrongly displayed at 0 confirmations on: September 08, 2018, 08:23:52 AM
What you followed from that link was when the transaction got stuck with 0 confirmation, right? But your transaction has when you checked in the explorer. Why not try this one? (if you have not done it yet)

If you experience missing transactions and/or incorrect balances, you may simply need to “Rescan Databases” from the “Help” menu.

If doing only the rescan doesn't make it work, then you need to rebuild and rescan the database again.
If Armory crashes while starting up, especially while scanning, you may need to “Rebuild and Rescan Databases” from the “Help” menu.

Please update here if it worked.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡BQT - SOCIAL P2P CRYPTO EXCHANGE AND HEDGE TRADING PLATFORM ⚡ on: September 08, 2018, 06:34:28 AM
Btw seems like the sale is going smoothly even the market is bad. On the website, it shows that the funds raised are around $7.1 M. That's pretty awesome.
Afaik they have institutional investors during the private sale and now during this pre-ico I think participating in the Blockchain Summit helped too.

Btw I think there's some typo on the counter. It should be "PRE-ICO ENDS IN" rather than "PRE-ICO STARTS IN" isn't it?
Oh yeah, you're right, I didn't notice it. The pre-ico started last 18th of August so it should be "ENDS". I told them about it on TG, it will be edited soon for sure.
507  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TV-TWO is SCAM! Runned by a DECEIVER founder! on: September 08, 2018, 12:03:01 AM
Not only is he probably hugely underpaying bounty hunters, the signature campaign pointed out by Coolcryptovator can also be labelled as a scam.
Coolcryptovator? Where?
Or are you referring to me?

At no point before the launch of the signature campaign did the team mention anything about KYC, yet after the signature campaign concluded for multiple months and they finally get to distributing the tokens, they say that they need to see everyone's docs before they are able to send them tokens? That's absurd. It means that people who worked for them in the signature campaign will not receive their tokens, if they choose to stay anonymous, when there were nothing that said this was a requirement in the beginning.
No. There's really no KYC thing during that time. If you will check the Signature thread, it was only stated there that "Tokens will be sent after ICO ends". It's been more than 6 months already before the distribution, and then surprise..... sig & bounty participants need to do KYC. If they are interested to sort out this issue, they should have responded already after I shared the link on TG, but sadly, it got deleted instead.
508  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TV-TWO is SCAM! Runned by a DECEIVER founder! on: September 07, 2018, 11:15:50 PM
I just want to share that there's another signature campaign:

Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2884232.0
Spreadsheet Link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uD4XX0uLFgkiyp6pm0ng5vSKEyPGivvTQTQivRnWbN0/edit#gid=0

Isn't the distribution still ongoing?
Not sure if they are scamming, but it's true that there's no final spreadsheets with the total tokens to be received by each participant plus they require KYC before the distribution. Most likely it will turn out as free advertising for those who don't want to do KYC.

Bounty has successfully ended. Thank you everyone for your support!

Dear Bounty Hunters,

We have received an updated opinion from our legal council that urges TV-TWO to perform KYC on all individuals and companies that receive our tokens. While this is nothing new concerning our investors, it does come as a surprise to us that this also covers any entity that participated in marketing and bounty activities. The change comes in light of new regulation that qualifies transferring tokens to sanctioned parties as aiding and abetting in criminal activity.

What does this mean? We need to ask any bounty hunter to complete the following KYC form on the TV-TWO website: https://tv-two.com/bounty.html.
During the process, please enter the same Ethereum address that you have used in the bounty spreadsheets. Once your KYC is reviewed and approved, we will transfer the tokens that you have earned during the campaign to your wallet. Distribution starts on August 24.

We are sorry that this requirement is only communicated now. We would have loved to do the bounty without KYC, but if regulations change, companies that want to flourish need to adapt. We are here for the long-run, so we ask you for your support.

Questions: Please do not post any bounty related questions in the TV-TWO Telegram group. This chat is purely for investors. Bounty discussions will be deleted. We do answer all your questions via email: bounty@tv-two.com.

I shared this scam accusation link in their telegram group and it was deleted. I don't think anyone from the team will be replying here, but let's see.

BQT is another crypto exchange platform.so what are the things that differ you from other platform.& as market is down how will you mange to give the investors extra offer?
Answer to the question, "how it differs from other platfrom?" (posted by @Bowtiesarecool in TG before)
Escrowed loan system and the fact that we will be registering a subsidary in Malta, one of the most progressive blockchain country. Our escrow system is further highlighted here: https://vimeo.com/280874044

The CEO explained it as well during the Blockchain Summit:
BQT was present in Blockchain Summit Singapore 2018 and Edward, BQT CEO, was one of the speakers. I searched for a video and saw one: https://youtu.be/o4AIF1w7d_Q (start at 5:48:50)

You can check the white paper too: https://bqt.io/assets/pdf/whitepaper.pdf

For all those who will post after this, please don't quote the whole post with Images, just snipped it so that we can keep this thread neat.
For those who posted above, you can still edit it.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethplorer down? on: September 07, 2018, 07:41:46 PM
You saw what? Incorrect Balance, Total In, Total Out? I'm clueless, if you will not explain it well, you'll just confuse those who will read this. Btw, if there's something wrong with the data in Ethplorer again in the future, you can use other explorer to re-check your address/transaction (like etherscan.io).

Your thread title is misleading. You can say a site is down if you can't access it.
Also, this thread should be on Service Discussion (Altcoins), use the move topic link on the bottom left corner of this thread.

In conclusion, there's a high possibility that he copied the report post of Yana_1 in his week 2 post here and he missed changing the profile link (most likely that while adding his links, other users posted their reports, so you can see Yana_1's post in #43 and wojteks102's post in #59). Too bad that he didn't realized it until week 5.

Add on:
Yana_1's Local posts - Russian
wojteks102's Local posts - Polski

I wonder now if it's really off topic. Is this considered as plagiarism too? Copy pasting of report post ...  Huh
512  Economy / Exchanges / Re: coins.ph got hacked ? on: September 07, 2018, 05:23:01 PM
Someone on our local board has asked about this topic, I waited for him to post here, but he is not online until now so I'll post this on his behalf before this thread gets locked. This was the answer of coins.ph representative:

Hello coins.ph

Can you please confirmed this?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5006147.0

Someone posted that he got e-mail claiming to be from info@coins.ph. But the individual said he/she doesn't have any account on coins.ph. Can you shed light so that this FUD or whatever news can finally laid to rest?

Thank you for bringing this up in this thread. Please note that our official help center is help@coins.ph, any other email claiming to represent our platform would be considered phishing.

This case is now solved. It's now clear that you received a phishing email.
513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New phishing email MEW on: September 06, 2018, 11:24:27 PM
Fortunately, I'm not receiving such email(s). The person or people behind this did all the possible way to scam people. Plenty of Brand new accounts posted here in Bitcointalk the same message with the Phishing link, others say they received the same on Telegram, and now on email.

515  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How do you feel about not psysically know people from the forum? on: September 06, 2018, 08:02:50 PM
As you have said members are having debates here most of the time. I know it's a bit childish to think of this, but if you have debated with someone, other people take sides (either you or the other), and it would hurt your feelings if someone you know won't take yours regardless if you are right or wrong, no?

I disagree entirely. If everyone agreed with everyone else on everything, the world would be so boring as to barely be worth living in. Similarly, just because I know someone/they are my friend, I wouldn't want them to take my side regardless of if I were right or wrong. Quite the opposite, in fact. I'd expect my friends to call me out the loudest when I'm incorrect.

As mentioned, there a handful of forum members I wouldn't mind grabbing a drink with. Not just to talk about crypto - I thoroughly enjoy having my views and opinions on science, politics and near enough anything else challenged by other intelligent and well thought out points of view.

Variety is the spice of life.
Yes, I know that. I myself would love to be corrected, especially by someone I know.

I'll explain why I said that above, Idk if I could express it right though. You know when you are in the midst of debate, you think that you're right, go defense yourself, will be carried away somehow. It would hurt your feelings, even a little bit in a short period of time if someone you know don't take your side. You might think he didn't understand you, until things become clear (either you realize it yourself or it was explained to you) and you're back in your senses, you'll understand if you're wrong and admit that. ** No hard feelings after

516  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Announcing BPIP - The Bitcointalk Public Information Project! on: September 06, 2018, 07:13:37 PM
@Vod it was mentioned in the Main post that Security/Mod log is updated every 60 seconds, but it seems that it is not updated recently (Correct me if I'm wrong). Idk if it's for all, but several accounts that I checked wasn't updated even after hours.

This user for example, the account was nuked based on the Deletion log (it was earlier today), but there's no record on bpip until now.

Is it just the link in Geraldo's screenshot? If not, can you PM me the phishing link(s)? I'll restart my continuous patrol downloads, so I can catch them quickly.
Yes, so far that's the only link I've seen from all.

I saw a bunch of them again. At first, I thought they copied what Lafu has on the main post, but since all of the new post has /], it's likely (the link automatically changes to https:// www.[phishing]) made by theymos to avoid the phishing link.

Ex. (It's okay to quote it since the link isn't there anymore)

518  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How do you feel about not psysically know people from the forum? on: September 06, 2018, 05:14:47 PM
It's better not to know people from here personally/psychically.

Why? (For me) it's because it will just complicate things. As you have said members are having debates here most of the time. I know it's a bit childish to think of this, but if you have debated with someone, other people take sides (either you or the other), and it would hurt your feelings if someone you know won't take yours regardless if you are right or wrong, no?

So, if you knew every member, I think it might not just end here, it could affect you outside the forum as well.

I remember the saying "what you see, what you hear, what you feel, when you go, leave it here"
