501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 15, 2022, 11:52:58 AM
I actually think that Ronaldo CR7 being in Real Madrid training ground today will mean something in coming future. At this point , I'm sure that Ronaldo will accept being on the bench for Real Madrid as if I were Ancelotti and I had to chose between Hazaard and Cr7 , I would go with Cr7 to be my prime substitute. Nevertheless , Florentino Perez seems very open to let Ronaldo training as long as he needs so that's maybe another hint that he will be officially with Real until summer.
If I'm not mistaken in the news from a few months ago, Real Madrid's management doesn't need a player like Cristiano Ronaldo because he is old and his performance has decreased a lot but is it possible to recall Cristiano Ronaldo out of pity? considering that Cristiano Ronaldo has a lot of services for Real Madrid, it might happen if that's the case, seeing Ronaldo back training with the Real Madrid kids.
I think Ronaldo still has a positive effect on encouraging his friends with the passion he has Florentino Perez probably decided to make Ronaldo a motivator in the team even though he was given less time to play and more on the bench.
502  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What do you think about trust wallet? on: December 14, 2022, 04:13:44 PM
If something happens with their servers and they shut down, you should import seed words in other wallets that use same BIP format.
However, some problems may occur with different addresses and derivation paths.
Luckily, they have posted the derivation paths for Bitcoin and plenty of altcoins on their GitHub page. Let's just hope it's all correct and there haven't been any changes they failed to make in the below source.
https://github.com/trustwallet/wallet-core/blob/master/registry.json#L9

They do have a github account and there are some unrelated code there and a regular user is not capable of figure out that it is actually closed source so they "trust" the wallet easier.
Trust Wallet used to be open-source in the past. But that changed a few years ago.

o_e_l_e_o talked about it here:

Trust wallet is not open source.

Here is their blog post announcing they are becoming closed source about 4.5 years ago: https://trustwallet.medium.com/why-open-sourcing-android-app-could-be-a-harm-to-the-crypto-community-fb3ae1707dc6

Here are the links to their Github repositories which show they are both archived and have had no updates in 4 years:
https://github.com/trustwallet/trust-wallet-android-source
https://github.com/trustwallet/trust-wallet-ios

They outright lie on their website when they claim to be open source. If being closed source isn't enough to convince you to stay away, then them outright lying to you should be. They are also owned and operated by Binance, so you can guarantee you will have absolutely zero privacy when using Trust wallet.

Avoid it.

I think this Evidence is enough to be wary of Trust Wallet. It's not good for me to keep too many Bitcoins in Trust Wallet, even if the number is in decimal, Bitcoin is a very valuable asset that should be in a secure wallet.

I think the reason for the popularity of this wallet is that it is invited by Binance, which gives it some credibility compared to an anonymous closed soruce wallet.
It seems that this is indeed Binance's strategy to monopolize the Crypto market, judging by their recent movements, the media always thinks Binance is the saviour of Crypto and not the least they always plan to acquire crypto projects.
I think that if Binance does, it will be the sunrise of the crypto world and will destroy any hope of decentralization that we have dreamed of for so long.
503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 14, 2022, 03:28:31 PM
I know France is having higher chances of winning Morroco but we can't really be sure, we all know that Morroco have being playing defensive game which will make it kind of difficult for France to score, and they have being using the same pattern since the beginning of world cup which always favors them, I think it will be kind of difficult for France to score Morroco in today's match.
Judging from the history, experience, abilities and skills of the French players, they are indeed very good, they deserve a thumbs up for them, but who would have thought that France would face Morocco for the first time in the world cup semi-finals, Walid Regrarui has brought achievements so far for the Moroccan team, win or lose, I still feel happy so far morocco is growing very fast.
But I'm also really looking forward to Morocco's victory, over France and for the first time Morocco enters the world cup grand final. This expectation seems impossible, for sure Kylian Mbappe and his friends will not let that happen, he has ambitions to become the top scorer in the Qatar world cup, and today is an opportunity for him to go further than Lionel Messi's goals.
504  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla’s stock prices dropping fast on: December 14, 2022, 02:38:30 PM
If I were to guess, this is simply because retail investors think that Elon Musk's attention would once again be divided due to him handling another company(Twitter). That, and Tesla has always been tremendously overpriced in the first place.
In my opinion, this makes more sense. Investors may be right. They are worried that Tesla will not be managed properly by Elon Musk because he is focused on managing Twitter. Since the beginning of buying Twitter, Elon has always been preoccupied with this company.
I think not only that but this is also caused by the news of the threat of recession. I can't avoid it, because companies and investors are very afraid of the recession. Of course, it has a big impact on the world of stocks and the business ecosystem. If you pay attention, not only Tesla has fallen, but Google, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft and others have all seen their declines over the last year. I think this is a normal event in the current economic situation.
505  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: December 14, 2022, 01:01:40 PM
This is why its not really that something ideal nor worth if you do leave your job just because you dont like it or tending to look for job which does have better pay and something which is really in your
interest.People do really have these common reasons on why they do leave out their job because of these things.Although some would really be preferring on having a business than sticking yourself

on an 8-5 job but there are instances most of the time which there's no much more wiser choice but rather sticking into your current job
which do really make you survive on day to day living.
Talking about ideally why leave a job and keep working, in my opinion, this depends on a person's situation and condition in living his life, staying working in a company is usually done by people who already have children or already have a family so what they need is that there will always be requests, and that's what cause someone does not want to leave his job to look for a new one because it takes quite a long time.
However, if you are a young person who is agile and still lacks experience, it is highly recommended to increase your experience in the world of work, it is also useful to add skills and be useful for the workplace you like or for your business someday.
506  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for December on: December 13, 2022, 02:01:12 PM
I voted no, but I feel we are more close to bottom compared to November for sure. Bitcoin bears are running out of gas in my opinion and everything will suddenly look far better than usual in couple of months or weeks. But we need more patience guys.

I agree with you, we just need to be patient and not get too fussy, but it will be very difficult for people who are looking for profits shortly in Bitcoin, people like us who buy Bitcoin for the long term will certainly not pay attention to the market, and do not care about rejection the market at a time like this, the cheaper the bitcoin, the more we can buy, we only think about long-term accumulation.

Current Bitcoin sentiment Sideway we can indeed recover to 17k but yes that's not enough to say the price is safe on the chart, but if you want to accumulate Bitcoin for 1-10 years, don't pay too much attention to things like that.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Month of Accepting Bitcoin for Payment on: December 13, 2022, 12:34:15 PM
hello Bitcoiners, I'm happy today because today marked one month since I started accepting Bitcoin payments in my company. I decided to accept Bitcoin as a means of payment because it is fast and secure, unlike the frequent delays and errors with fiat and banks. Few of my customers were really impressed with the new development when I first started last month, but since then I have had more than 13 customers paying me with Bitcoin and stable coins ( USDT ). I feel more safe using Bitcoin in my business because it eases the stress of holding a lot more cash, there is no more SMS notification and charge from the bank for payment, and no one has to know about my bank balance by spying on my phone. There is no monthly charge of any kind for Bitcoin transactions, unlike with the banks.

Knowing that the Bitcoin payment I receive from customers is not an investment but rather my business capital, what I do after receiving payment in bitcoin is convert my capital to a stable coin USDT and leave my profit in bitcoin. I do this to avoid running a loss in my business. If I decide to hold the whole bitcoin and, peradventure, the Bitcoin price drops, I might not have my exact capital any time I want to buy more goods. I wish to ask if this is the right approach I should take given that we are still in a bear market.
You are great, I also want to do the same as what you are doing, can accept Bitcoin as a means of transaction, but in my country, the regulations are very strict, if I use another means of the transaction as payment I will be subject to criminal penalties for a maximum of one year and $12,800 fine. Of course, this is very difficult for me.
If I did it secretly without other people's knowledge, maybe I could do it, but when neighbours or other people report what I did to the local police, I could be entangled in the law.

I appreciate your courage, one day I will also do the same thing as you when the legal regulations in my country have allowed it.
508  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: December 13, 2022, 10:41:40 AM
The ease of applying for an online application makes anyone will try new things that are getting a job that suits his dreams, I also often submit applications and sometimes I also follow the next stage such as interviews and so on, sometimes looking for the best is our hope.
Indeed, this is something good, but on the other hand, when doing something like that, it means that you are completely ready to leave your job completely, and of course there must be a reason behind it.
When looking for something new, of course, there must be something more that must be obtained, such as excess salary or maybe in terms of distance and a more decent job, but when things like that don't exist, why do we change the old job and switch if the conditions are still the same.
That's right why do you want to move to a new workplace if you don't get anything more positive from your previous job, maybe you want to add new insights with a new profession to mine value about your skills, that's not bad, but if in the same job and your same position is just a waste of time.

Most companies do not care about the fate of employees, they feel they can replace employees at any time because there is a recruitment section, this is only good at the beginning because if it is often repeated then there is a mistake that the company does not want to hear what the works want.
Carrying out recruitment too often will be dangerous for the company, this is not as easy as it is said because it will affect the stability of the company, of course, there are always pros and cons between employees and workers at a certain time but that includes the company's progress so that the company does not lose and the employees are not harmed either.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: December 13, 2022, 09:12:12 AM
There's a discussion here about a call to make it mandatory for gambling sites to show proof of money they are holding in reserves because of what happened on FTX.

Running a casino during crypto crash

 - Do you think The Gambling Industry Is Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market?
 - Will the industry lose the trust of gamblers if one or two casinos scammed their players by closing down and running with what
money they have that belongs to the gamblers?
As far as I know, gambling sites will not be affected by the collapse of FTX, crypto coins are an alternative means of betting from Dollars, Euros and other currencies. so as far as any crypto on the market will be the same.
I saw some time ago that the value of gambling money on online sites reached $ 1.8 billion on November 19 last. it will always increase and continue to increase until the final of the Qatar world cup comes, and for those who use crypto as a gambling tool, I notice there is no setback.

Quote
- As a gambler do you use gambling sites to store your coins like what traders are doing on exchanges?
I don't deposit coins like them on gambling sites unless I'm going to gamble with the site.

Quote
- What would gamblers think if a casino does not agree to show proof of money from new and old casinos
I understand and understand why there has to be a financial reserve on gambling sites because there are indeed not a few who commit fraud, and when they refuse to show their reserves I think you just have to be careful.
510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Discussion Thread on: December 12, 2022, 11:25:46 AM
After beating Spain Morocco defeat Portugal in the quarter-finals in the second round, fans are now expressing, 'Why can't we win the World Cup?'' There is no team in the world cup who score against us but one. As they expect the next World Cup, their chances of winning are very high. They slowly rose so high that no one could ever imagine. In any case, the opponent is France again in the semi-final. Though France colonized to Morocco for a long time. The France-Morocco semi-final here takes on a greater significance than just a football match. It remains to be seen who will win this battle field at the end.
I don't think Morocco can make France come home and beat it in the semifinals, France has struggled so far to reach the semifinals as well as Morocco struggled to get rid of many great teams until it reached the semifinals, I hope France can win against Morocco and don't let Morocco keep the match a draw and there must be another penalty shootout because France will lose on penalties
Yes, I think so too, the winning mentality that France has is very large, and it is not easy for Morocco to continue using a defensive strategy, but if indeed Morocco succeeds in forcing France to try their luck in the penalty box, this will be very difficult because we have seen for ourselves that the keeper Morocco's goal Yassine Bounou is very difficult to penetrate.

Didier Deschamps must have considered it, he will take the one-goal-and-win strategy, as well as Walid Reragui he will do that strategy too, when they have scored a goal they will be in a defensive formation like against Portugal yesterday.

It's hard to predict because when it's on the field anything can happen if it's just a guess I would guess Croatia vs France meet again in the final like in 2018.
511  Economy / Speculation / Re: The world is not doing well on: December 12, 2022, 08:36:10 AM
Many experts believe that economic trends in the future will be increasingly difficult so that we have to prepare from now on, moreover the threat of war can occur at any time so that we have to be smart in managing finances, don't focus too much on putting money on 1 or 2 types of investment, it's safer if we divide it into many places so that it can make us safer if a problem occurs.
Yes, it is true that not a few economic observers and influencers say that 2023 will be a dark year, but we are still questioning whether it is true or not because in our area it is still not felt, because our country is not so dependent on other countries.
But when I see China, Europe and America their GDP is in a state of decline, and the needs of the people there are not being met which causes prices to soar.

When a country holding world power finds rejection from other countries regarding the export and import of its needs, this will trigger friction between the two countries and even war, and of course, this will hurt the global economic cycle.

Yeah basically diversification matters always; not just for current world economy scenario, it is always better to go diversifying our capital on more than one completely different opportunities. I personally expect the crisis between Ukraine and Russia will fade away here after but the consequences of pandemic may persist for another year. So, being prepared will not hurt anyone but might get chances to stay profitable as some assets may perform well among world economic crisis.
Yep, diversification is very important to choose in investing, of course, we want profits from various sectors and minimize losses if we focus on 1 or 2 investment sectors, some suggestions for investment sectors when world tension heats, the palm oil industry, coal, nickel, oil natural gas and natural gas industry sector which is relatively always increasing when there is global tension.

Even though we always hope that the two countries will make peace including Taiwan and China, we can't do anything, praying is the only thing we can do right now.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Crypto survive? on: December 11, 2022, 06:18:36 PM
Anyone out there have words of encouragement regarding the future of crypto? Anything the future holds to look forward to?
What to look forward to?
Of course, everyone is looking forward to a booming market in the green zone or a bull run and profitable returns to repay investors' long patience.
Of course, those who fall into crypto have hope like that, it's what they yearn for, they have a glimmer of hope in a market like this, but this is why people who are patient in bearish situations are usually the ones who actually get good returns, and that's the motivation that many people have.
Those who bought before the market crash in early 2023 will be desperate today, but when they sell what they bought back then, they will surely lose out.

The hold is the best option at this time than selling at a big loss.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 11, 2022, 02:54:10 PM
Furthermore, Morocco's defense is fantastic, no opponent can score against them. Africa continues to dream. In this tournament, Morocco played their hearts out. Their play was motivated by a desire to win. African teams need to stop being underrated, one day we'll watch them lead the way.

There are giant killers, but it's time to let them go? In the semi-final, they will be facing France, which is the strongest opponent.
It cannot be denied that France is a very strong team, they have got really good players and their performance has been looking good so far. Just a little off guard or even made a mistake, then it could be a nightmare for Morocco. However, if Morocco can play consistently like in their previous matches, I think Morocco has the opportunity to make a big surprise again, at least France won't beat Morocco easily.
Yes, France is really great at the moment, they beat their opponents without much drama, and one by one they are beaten by France, but for a moment I hesitate to bet on France, because Morocco has played well so far and beaten French competitors like that. as Portugal and Spain were defeated by morocco in this world cup, is it possible that France will also be forced to try his luck in the penalty shootout like Spain or be sent home directly like Portugal in yesterday's match.
From there I learned not to underestimate the Moroccan team, because they always give us surprises that make us shake our heads.
But I also doubt Morocco a little because the strategy they use must have been read by Didier Deschamps, also the mentality that Morocco is a winning mentality since the start of the game in the Qatar world cup. This is different from France, he has a winning mentality from last year and France managed to bring the second trophy in French history in 2018.
514  Economy / Economics / Re: Only one way to save people now on: December 11, 2022, 01:38:33 PM
Look at world economy and people struggle with bills.
Look all that things most people not gona be fit enough to pay their bills.
Europe UK very bad situation and now when people need most credit the Banks don't give.

The solution is Simple leave fiat banks and go crypto.
Until there is no Fiat eur or GBP Stable coins we can use as central reserve Stable currency USDT.
I don't understand why you say that, I don't think your solution is getting to the point where chaos is going on.

Will using Crypto or USDT all this mess ever end?
did you think about this?
In my opinion, this chaos occurs because the goods needed every day are getting scarce, so the prices are getting more expensive.
You want to use USDT and USDC or other stablecoins will not change the price of a commodity if the goods needed are in shortage.

Besides, is it true that USDT or any other stablecoin has as many dollar reserves as USDT supply? The market value of USDT indeed is 1:1 to the dollar, but we don't know whether their dollar reserves match the supply of coins or not, that's what people suspect and consider it a scheme.

So many times we see people who were financially bouyant and stable reduced to nothing in the society,is it because they failed to strategise well?or could it be that they no longer put in the much effort they put before that got them to the level they were?what can actually be the cause of the downfall of someone who was already stable financially?
It is true, as I have noticed, that from generation to generation there has always been such a thing as ups and downs in every circle of entrepreneurs, and this can happen due to several reasons that occur in the entrepreneur or the type of business.

Businessman
1. Severe Illness (Physical/Spiritual)
2. Old
3. Has no successor
4. Accident/death
5. Poor financial management
6. Careless decisions

In Business
1. Not innovating
2. The resulting product is boring for the market
3. Distracted
4. Not adapting to the times
5. There is Corruption
Maybe there are many more that can cause someone to go bankrupt in their business, but from what I've noticed so far most are like that.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If someone sends you 10 bitcoin ? on: December 11, 2022, 11:03:53 AM
Morally and instinctively we should return it, but our position is that we don't know what actually happened, whether those 10 Bitcoins were sent to our wallet on purpose or by accident, this would be a big question for me. Let's say Bitcoin is sent to a DEX wallet, of course, I save it first because there might be a dust attack if I exchange it immediately, afraid that the sender will take my other coins on DEX, which means we have to make sure whether BTC is genuine or fake.

Even if it was genuine, I would not take it but would wait for the person who sent the Bitcoin whether it was intentional or not, because that much money would have been announced in the media if he had made a delivery mistake.

From my parents' upbringing, I have to give it back, however much I want it, it still doesn't belong to me.
517  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: December 10, 2022, 02:35:27 PM
I guess, this is the best opportunity people can use to buy bitcoin in this bear market and hold with bold mind of making profits in the future, because there is a great reward for those that will exercise patience with the current price situation. There are many signs some investors have seen to believe that next year 2023 will be a better year for all investors that took their time to invested in Bitcoin because Bitcoin still remain the king among other cryptocurrencies, which will be very easy for those that invested in bitcoin to earn well from their investment when the price move higher in the crypto market.
Yes of course this is the best time because we get a lot of discounts, In 2021 I feel Bitcoin is too expensive to buy, only a small part of what we get if we buy $15000 in that year. But don't do anything stupid or don't use a strategy, right now we don't know for sure what will happen in 2023 even though many are talking bullish but you have to watch out for this. DCA strategy would be a better choice to invest in bitcoin nowadays and many people are also suggesting it in this forum.

A good strategy if we can buy dip and sell high, the problem is of course whether the current price has been dip or there is still an opportunity to dip again, and in my opinion the simple thing I do is to immediately buy even though it is more expensive than yesterday then hold so that we has the opportunity to profit when market rising.
It's really lucky to be able to buy at the lowest price but we don't know the bottom price where what we can do is buy when there is another extreme decline but we don't know whether it will happen again or not, routinely buying every week or month is the right choice either.
518  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your work. on: December 10, 2022, 01:38:39 PM
Not all people are skilled to have their own business and most people receive their knowledge to not build their own business but to work in a company that's why its hard to ask them to start their own business. Those people who work in the company are better to start saving their money on an asset like a house, gold, etc.
Of course fighting for your own business is better, but I understand that not everyone is skilled at owning a business, but that doesn't mean they can't make their business. The consensus I did with people in an area when I asked you do you want to be a businessman or a worker? and almost all the people I asked answered that they wanted to become businessmen in their own passion.
Doing business is not about fate and fate. Doing business is about whether you want to start or not, whether you are brave or not and whether you are consistent or not. Most people are afraid before starting and give up on the way. Doing business is difficult but that doesn't mean every human being can't do it and pick up his success.
If you talk about skill/understanding it will slowly form within you, and you will understand all situations regarding your business when you remain consistent and move forward.

People who refuse to become entrepreneurs are people who are comfortable with their jobs and have been educated to be workers (life is in other people's hands) since entering school and usually they think when starting a business they must have a lot of capital and have a business office and or are afraid of failure.
Business doesn't mean you have to have a corporate office, and it doesn't mean you have to have many employees, but business is all activities that produce products or services to be sold and benefit others, that's what is called business.

The great thing about being an entrepreneur is
No matter how small your business, you are the boss.
519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 10, 2022, 10:12:33 AM

Croatia did in-imaginable performance against Brazil. I supported Croatia to win the game because Brazil had been qualifying to play quarter final, semifinal, and finals so let the winning should turn around, or let it shift to another Countries. I am even supporting Morocco to win the Portugal match.  Argentina escaped dead yesterday. Netherlands attacked them very well.

Croatia was counting on this, because not many teams are given to defeat Brazil in regular time. It always makes me sad when a team like Brazil has to leave the tournament long before the final, but Croatia showed their character and if they could beat such an opponent, then they deserve to even win the final...
The end of the match, extra time was spent in the attacks of Argentina, and in general the penalty shoot-out is not for the Netherlands, while Argentina very often comes out victorious there.
Maybe Croatia wants to fulfil their ambition to become champions, because in last year's world cup they lost to France in the grand final, in the match I saw they played very well, even after conceding in 6 minutes by Neymar they replied also in 16 minutes of extra time.
Luca Modric, who is even old, is still able to play nicely on the field, becoming the foundation of the Croatian children.
The surprising thing is that in this world cup, most teams, if they feel unable or hesitate to score goals, will have a strategy of staying until the end of the match and taking luck in penalty shootouts, like Morocco vs Spain, Croatia vs Brazil, and maybe Netherlands vs Argentina.
520  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should I invest? on: December 10, 2022, 09:14:48 AM
NFT, Metaverse, Web 3.0 still underused and underappreciated because of wrong execution from wrong people. Once stable, the trend will arise. Still so many things to dig on that could make new trend in the future.
I think for NFT after this huge hype it will be quite difficult to repeat because the era is over considering things like this will only be temporary.
In my country, when the NFT Hype was busy a few months ago, many were obsessed with even making large NFTs so there were a lot of them scattered and when their hype was over then I thought this was not very useful anymore because they are only once most possible although there will be some time to restart but it won't be as busy as before. being in bitcoin remains the best option armpit say Invest in Crypto than betting for NFT whose clarity is questionable in the future.
yes, I agree, I also advise against investing in NFTs.
Why do NFTs die quickly after the Hype and are doomed to failure? In my opinion, there are too many NFTs circulating and more and more competitors are appearing plus the network of NFT centres is experiencing a lack of interest because of the Bearish trend, besides what I know NFTs don't have really useful Utilities. Metaverse is the same way, today I have never seen any more news about the great metaverse such as Decentraland, Sandbox and even Axiee Infinity which went up yesterday and today has gone down again.

Don't worry to put money or investment, the presence of smartphones is easier, there are many investment choices that have received licenses from the local government, and for me the presence of cryptocurrencies is a good solution to get big profits because global trends will get better.
I think you have to learn how to invest well. In fact, the easier it is for us to access exchanges for investment, you have to be more careful. There are thousands, even millions of crypto projects on the exchange, and of course be careful choosing projects that will become where you invest, you will be deceived by fake developers.
The license can be purchased according to my experience including auditing crypto projects can be bought.
I suggest it's better to buy Bitcoin than to buy Shitcoin.
